I would say that any story spoilers should be marked just in case but that characters are fair game since there aren't really surprise joins. Anyway, I'm on run #4, finally on the church one. I've decided to base my team entirely around memes. currently on ch7. The team plan and their final classes: 1. Byleth - Bishop 2. Seteth - Hero 3. Flayn - Fortress Knight 4. Raphael - Assassin 5. Lorenz - Noble 6. Leonie - Gremory 7. Bernadetta - Dancer 8. Marianne - Warrior 9. Caspar - Dark Knight 10. Felix - Sniper Successes so far: Marianne has easily been MVP. Fun fact that's easy to overlook, her "mystery crest" effect is the same as crest of Fraldarius so she low key puts in work with gauntlets. Lorenz has had oddly good growths. Felix has been great but he's the actual good unit in a class that makes sense for him so that's be to expected. Challenges going forward: This team has no flying and one mount, and everyone sucks at magic. Caspar keeps gaining strength as a mage, Raphael refuses to gain speed as a thief, and it's killing me. I shudder to think of my team with so many 4 move characters, and I'm not using stride because support gambits are cheating. Lorenz is literally going to have HP +5 and random prowessesand that's it. But this run has been fun and even somewhat challenging. How is your run going?

Hello, I wanted to go over a topic of discussion while doing a playthrough of FE8. The topic of discussion is the word, Casual, and the implications and applications that can come from it. It seems to me that the immediate ideas that come up when this word is used is to conjure feelings of defamation and negativity. More or less used as an insult but there are other ways to use it that are neutral or positive such as the phrase "Casual LTC" or simply "Casual playthrough. In Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones especially it seems to be the former as it's generally regarded as the easiest or one of the easier of all the games. However, what do you think of the word and how you you apply and use it. Playthrough link:

I dropped Fates a few weeks before Sun and Moon came out, and I think I kinda... restricted myself with the Luna!BR and Hard!CQ PMUs, which made them really hard to get back into. I'll not delve further into my reasons why I'm stopping them since this is too long already. For now, I'd like to do a Hard mode Conquest PMU. I'm choosing to play Casual because this is for fun, and I wanna ease myself back into Fates. Also, rules: Avatar is fully customizable (Can be by one or multiple people). 2 picks per person. Children need 1 parent picked. I won't stop you from giving me garbage units, but I do ask for mercy. No Gunter. I know I said I'm fine with garbage, but Gunter is worse than garbage. I may ban the Yato, Brynhildr and Siegfried for myself. Depends on what units I get. Only 1 of each DLC class, and all are allowed. Please don't give me the same unit/class combos as on my old CQ PMU, which are in the spoiler below. There are a good amount removed as I never recruited or reclassed them, so I see no need to exclude them from this. I'm curious to know how everyone will play their game on their very first run, so feel free to share your choice and reasons. For me it would be: Hoshido Hard/Classic No Reset Little to no grinding (but I will be messing around with Hoshido My Castle). I always play a new Fire Emblem game this way because it reminds me of playing the series for the very first time as a kid and I wanna see how much I've improved as an Fire Emblem player in general by thinking of strategies on the fly and dealing with the consequences of having a character die without making the game unbeatable (i.e Fredrick dying in lunatic during the first few chapters of Awakening). But if Orochi, Orobo or Pieri die... so help me god I will jump out of a freaking window. EDIT: Now Hoshido or Nohr is an option in the poll.

So I just attempted to complete the prologue and I got rekt like 5 times. The RNG goddess is cruel and unforgiving, getting a crit on Krom AND Frederick. MU: Female, +Def -Luck Yeah, I know, give Frederick the sword and keep Liz out of range.

Hey-lo. This is my first playlog so I'm going to be learning what works and what doesn't as I go. This isn't however, my first playthrough of FE4. It's actually my second so it isn't much better.
