Since we know that both Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate & Dragon Quest III: HD 2D Remake are the remaining upcoming Dragon Quest games that were first announced at on May 26, 2021 (along with the Japanese only Dragon Quest X games, Dragon Quest Treasure, and the Dragon Quest Mobile game has already been released + Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince had come out recently). But since we have heard the sad news of Akira Toriyama had recently passed away on March 1, 2024, due to the Blood Damaged in the Brain he had got. As far as we know that this is going to make Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate technically the last new mainline entry to have Akira Toriyama do work on the Characters and Monster Designs for the franchise. And future new mainline entries like Dragon Quest 13 and so on won't have Akira Toriyama work on the new artworks and monsters. As far as we know nothing about what's in Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate as of right now such as what the Dragon Quest XII characters actually looks like and what the setting takes place in the Dragon Quest World. And we know that Dragon Quest III: HD 2D Remake has been shown with game footages and art assets looks very good in the process. Do you think Akira Toriyama's passing could possibly put the upcoming Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate and as well as Dragon Quest III: HD 2D Remake in progress of development in the art assets and artworks to get these two games actually post pone the release date and Square Enix might have find an another artist to finish up with the rest of the Dragon Quest XII Characters and New Monsters with Akira Toriyama's style to get these artworks finished like say Toyotarou who worked on the art for Dragon Ball Super manga might have to work on the rest of the Dragon Quest Characters and Monster Designs for the Dragon Quest Franchise?

I did saw that Square Enix just announced 6 Dragon Quest games on the official Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Stream. Dragon Quest XII is the next installment is happening. Dragon Quest III (Arusu's game) is getting a HD-2D Remake that the layout is similar to Octopath Travelers. Two Dragon Quest X games announced (Update Versions 5.5 to 6 for Online and newly announce Dragon Quest X Offline). Erik from Dragon Quest XI is getting his spin-off called Dragon Quest Treasures. A mobile Dragon Quest spin-off game for iOS and Android. I'm more excited for Dragon Quest XII. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake looks pretty good, but sadly that I already got Dragon Quest III from the Nintendo Switch eShop from the Square Enix sale last year. Like I'm playing Caravan Heart and discovered the King of Cannock has a pet sabercat. Then there's the hero of V and Bianca with their pet sabercat and the Felix guy from VIII with multiple pet sabercats I mean according to Bishop Ladja these things are fairly scary and prone to attack and you fight them a lot so what gives?!? ??????????????????

Anyone had the fortune to play this fun party gem? It's basically chaotic monopoly with STOCKS. Not really much in terms of mini games, more about strategy, luck and conning people out of property. Quite a few Dragon Quest and Mario characters and locales. I quite like the game as simple as it is. It's addicting for me and some friends. We'll just sit and do a game or two out of the blue. Um, well, I wanted to draft a DQ game, and I picked DQVI mainly because of bias, but whatever! Rules: This draft is for four players. There is no need to draft characters. This isn't FE, where there is eight million to choose from, and you have eight slots with a constantly changing party, so... The goal of the draft is simple. In your endgame team of eight, have the lowest average level for your characters. In addition, money spent and held will be judged in a similar way. Both average level and money earned will be given a score from 1-10. Average level will simply be multiplied by .1 to obtain your score. For gold, you will lose .25 of a point for every 10000 gold earned, starting at 10. For example: Average level: 40 Score: 4 Gold Earned (including spent gold): 150000 Score: 150000/10000=15*.25=3.75 10-3.75=6.25 These numbers are averaged to get the overall score. In this case: 6.25+4=10.25/2=5.125 Thus the overall score is 5.125 Alltrades Abbey is free to use as much as you will. Go wild with your vocation training, just be wary of overleveling!
