  1. What’s the most unexpected class choice that sounds dumb on concept, but personally worked for your playthrough Right now, a Swordmaster Ferdinand is wrecking things on my Church Playthrough
  2. Which weapon do you feel Lysithea is going to wield? Given that Green is going to be taken by Edlegard with Amyr Blue is going to be taken by Dimitri with Areadbhar Claude has a bow which is primarily colorless Dark Magic is red primarily with few exceptions (Dark Aura and Dark Excaliur) Futhermore Lysithea has two crests Charon and Gloucester it makes sense that she would have Red as her color but this asks a question. Which Relic is she going to have? Thyrsus points Dark Magic is Red, and Lysithea is known for Dark Magic She is typically much more powerful with this staff then with Thunderbrand If Claude is Red, Thyrsus could maker her Colorless Unit Thunderbrand Points Hidden Proficiency in swords, which gives her a Magic sword technique Has a support with Catherine with them bonding over their crests
  3. I heard that Kris or MU was a very controversial character i wanted to ask fans of this game if it is true and if so... How would you change him?
  4. We can all agree the FEH pass blows right? But I think we should at the very least acknowledge why it is bad, and form complaints to IS/Nintendo Mobile about why it’s bad So I got two questions for everyone 1: What things should have been in the pass that would make it worth getting, but at the same time not implement a P2W scenario like with Early Life SW Battlefield 2 2: What exactly is bad about the pass, and what changes would you make to it in any way?
  5. Haven’t played this game but it seems fun Should I plan on getting it on the switch?
  6. If you could create a chapter for an FE game: the objective, the environment, the layout, the enemy placements, the main gimmicks, etc., what would it be? EDIT: I should give an example. My chapter would be a multi-part chapter where the heroes have to lay siege to an enemy castle, and there's no secret entrance that makes things easy; the heroes have to get in the hard way. Part 1 is storming the front gate. Objective: Arrive at the tiles blocked by the castle gate. The player's army has to approach the front gatehouse and find a way to get their army inside. They have two options: seize control of the upper part of the gatehouse and open the gate, or have your units wheel the battering ram up to the gate and have it destroy the gate. It takes multiple turns for the ram to destroy the gate, however, and the ram can be destroyed by the enemies. To get to the upper part of the gatehouse, one must get up the front wall and get inside. Flying units could just fly up to the wall, but the wall's littered with archers, and the gatehouse towers have ballistae. One could have their infantry units carry siege ladders to the wall and ascent the wall via the ladders. However, enemies can knock down the ladders on their phase, and the fall damages your units. Part 2 is seizing the courtyard. Objective: Seize the entrance to the keep. This chapter comprises of taking the castle's courtyard. The wall is littered with enemy archers and mages, and the stairs to the walls are guarded by knights. The layout of the courtyard is divided into multiple sections; each of which is separated from the others by a wall and a gate. Again, flying units can fly over the walls, but the large number of archers and mages makes this a bad idea. But these gates aren't nearly as challenging to breach. Part 3 is taking the keep. Objective: Defeat the enemy commander at the top floor of the keep. This is an indoor chapter where all mounted units must dismount (if dismount is in the game) or have their movement significantly cut. The layout of this mission is a multiple-story map with multiple rooms. One has to ascend from the bottom floor to the top floor.
  7. What crossover spinoff do you think would work well? What genre would the crossover be? What lords would you love to see involved? What non lords would you love to see involved? And what other spinoff ideas would you like to see for fire emblem?
  8. Fire Emblem 5 is one of my absolute favorite parts from this series. Unfortunately I could have not enjoyed the story yet for playing with rubbish translation. With this translation patch the localisation issue is solved...... at least it should be. I have not used this patch yet, so I am very excited to try this one out. Anyways this playthrough will not be any special except I will recruit as many units as possible. That said not everyone can be recruited since a few units are exclusive depending on which route was picked. If you want to suggest me the route, then leave it in the comments. On the picked route I will recruit everyone (not re-recruitments). Also I will explain this game, mainly to intodruce people into this game who have not played this game but are interested in it. It can be boring, but a screenshot says a thousand word anyways. I will start upcoming weekend as I will update on every weekend for now simply because of restricted freetime during the week.
  9. I was thinking about it in my head but should the next fe foucs on a specific culture(s) or just carry on with a european medival setting. I would personally like and african based continent or maybe and iberean continent. Also i would like the next game whereever it takes place to link a previous world to it without the use of dlc ect. what would you like the setting to be?
  10. This is a program that will generate a text document with randomized class changes for all of the characters in Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. Fe 11 Randomizer.zip instructions 1. Unzip the file 2. Open the dist folder 3. Run the ShadowDragonRandomizer.exe 4. Your randomized list will be Characters.txt in the same folder Post any feedback in the comments below
  11. Yeah, I saw this video, but, I was sad for this Smash Direct, and Edelgard was disconfirmed to be a Fighter, only appears as a cameo in the Stage: Garreg Mach Monastery and Spirit. And you, what do you think about this fighter?
  12. Do you think it should be a remake or a brand new game and why? I want to find out who the First Exalt is, what happened to the Valentian Falchion, and what happened to Grima during and details about the Schism, so I say a game on that next, or an Elibe saga remake.
  13. I started this hack around the start of december, since I don't have much time on PC, the progress is kinda slow. About my last hack, the Dark Emblem, I accidentally courrupted the files and since the hack was kinda lmae and messed, I decided to start a new one.(No random-generated maps this time, I swear) Story: In the Melgen continent, there are two very powerfull countries, they're Arcadia and Petos, Arcadia suddenlly started to invade other countries, even though king Arcadio and King Petos are on good terms with each other, so wat's the reason that made king Arcadio suddenlly attack it's neighbors? Follow the story of Izarck, as he makes his path from a simple squire to a famous Hero. Features: No bandit chapters! New items. New icons for new items. Some new classes. 7 chapters as of now(counting the prologue and chapter 4x) Some new music. New mugs. New events. New maps. Deep plot(Not much at the start I admit, but what FE game starts with a good reason to fight?) New custom battle animations. All chapters have hidden items and secrets.(Except for the prologue, don't bother searching) Some screenshots: Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ba417u1z9azcuza/Izarck%27s+Quest.rar Update notes: Known issues and gliches: Lamp sword use effect works properly but it crashes the game if used right after resuming a chapter. Make sure to always savestate before using it's use effect. By grammar isn't the best, if someone could help with it would be of great help. The same can be said about my mugs. Credits:
  14. Starting roughly half a year ago, I started doing a playthrough of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Originally, it was just gameplay with subtitled commentary I made for a friend who hadn't played the game, but as I learned more about how to use my editing program, I had more ideas for my project. Starting with chapter 24, I started making some visual novel-like scenes from scratch, to add a more humorous and dynamic aspect to my playthrough (though in retrospect, some of it is a little too silly). I started calling this series OVERpLAY, partly because of the use of overlays and that I'm doing more than just playing a game. I read somewhere that at least part of Kaga's vision for Fire Emblem was for players to make their own stories, and that's sort of what I'm trying to do with this now; have some more character interactions, show some ways the deaths of some characters have affected surviving ones... ... and also play some things for laughs. Here is Chapter 24, where I started doing stuff in the "OVERpLAY" style: I was, admittedly, still trying to find some direction when I made this, and some of the humor, particularly early on with external references, which even I find a little cringy now. Also, in case you're wondering why the dead unit list is so long when the Aum staff is used, when when this was still an LP I made for a friend, I deliberately sacrificed my guys to access the gaiden chapters so I could show as much of the game as possible. Here is the Endgame: This is where I started doing stuff the way I currently am: while still mostly comedic, there are some serious moments too, and I used my additional scenes for the sake of some extra character depth, like Marth feeling the pressure of living up to Anri's legend. Lastly, here is the Shadow Dragon Epilogue: I bring everyone back to life for the sequel in an unapologetically contrived way, and make shoutouts to what's to come in Echoes and New Mystery. The very end also lays some groundwork for some of my plans for NMotE, but I'm not saying where that is. ? Here is the full playlist: As I said, Chapter 24 is where I started doing stuff in the OVERpLAY style, but here you go if you're interested in seeing how things got to that point. If you're interested in seeing an expert playthrough, though, you won't find it here. I'm planning on doing a New Mystery of the Emblem OVERpLAY in the not-too-distant future, building a story around the results of an Iron Man run, but for this, I deliberately killed off units for the gaiden chapters and I wasn't above stuff like arena grinding. Here is an unfinished video showing the progress of my current project, where I set up a little competition between my units: Here are some screenshots: Anyway, I really hope you enjoy these videos, and if you do, please leave a like and comment for the videos, and maybe consider subscribing to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC47MYIuECuL7-mLMDIf403Q It would mean a lot.
  15. So, I have a Christian friend with whom I recently started a playthrough with. We have had some pretty nice conversations and stuff, and I thought we could play some Three Houses as friends and as commentators. He is playing sort of blind (He has only seen F!Blyeth’s B support with Cyril and the beginning of chapter 8 and it’s story details), and I am the farthest from blind about this game, sort of. I am playing on Hard Classic. I am taking care of gameplay, and he is taking care of the avatar’s decisions. Notable happenings on session 1 of gameplay (Less than an hour) in spoiler below, for space: Overall, he has liked his experiences so far, as he said that this is a pretty complex game.
  16. I promoted my Callion last chapter, but I forgot to look at his stats. While I was in the deployment window I wondered how he compared to Finn(my lvl. 8 duke knight). I take a look and he is 1 point better in every stat, except for his 2 point deficiance in his build. Now it's Orsin's turn to get trained, because he's still a lvl. 8 fighter on chapter 12.
  17. Infernal Map Not too hard~ Cheeky Flash Cleric means I will be cheeky, too~
  18. Welcome! I'll be playing through the Black Eagles route, debating on doing all three as this game is quite long and I have many other RPGs in the backlog... was really nervous about posting these at first I'll be updating here as I upload (if the playlist doesnt update on its own I'll post new videos by themselves after this - will still make an update post every time I've uploaded though), this will be video only, and there's some swearing in these, so be warned. Still I really hope you enjoy these, I have lots of fun editing them!
  19. Hey folks, I'm turning this thread into a video archive on my 3H videos. Chris Hackney Interview Cyril: The Character Everyone Hates, Apparently. Hanneman: A Main Character in Secret Ike, Lyn and Robin. What If They Were in Fire Emblem: Three Houses? Shamir: Deadliest Waifu Deva Marie (Voice of Flayn) Interview
  20. If you could bring in one great writer you know about to Intelligent Systems and have that writer become the lead writer for a Fire Emblem game, who would it be? Note: it doesn't have to be a video game writer (though it can be); it could also be a novelist, film/TV writer, etc. It also doesn't have to be a writer that you think, realistically, would ever get involved in writing a Fire Emblem game. My only rules for this are: 1) the writer must still be alive (J. R. R. Tolkien, Homer, etc. are not allowed), and 2) even if you are an experienced writer, you can't answer, "Me"; there's already another thread for how you would write a Fire Emblem plot. Here's my choice: Writer: Hiromu Arakawa; most well-known for being the writer and illustrator for the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. One reason that I have for this is that a lot of typical plot points in FE are things that she has shown to be able to write and write very well, going by her most notable work: The other reason that I think she would be great for Fire Emblem is that, in my opinion, a lot of FE games in recent years have had great concepts, but the refinement and the execution of those concepts have been less-than-great. Interesting stories, characters and magic systems in a story that relies a bit too much on contrivances and doesn't really explore everything it introduces to its full potential. incidentally, it's a similar problem I had with the anime Code Geass that I tried recently that led me to stop watching the show near the end of season 1 despite overall enjoying it up until that point. That, and (spoilers) One thing I loved about Path of Radiance was how refined it was; all the character interactions and story events were well-thought-through and the attention to detail was above anything I've seen since in FE (though I haven't even come close to finishing Three Houses yet, so I have no idea how it compares to PoR in that area). I think Arakawa would be great for FE because, from what I've seen of her work, she does get the details right. The attention to detail in Fullmetal Alchemist is frankly above any other piece of media that I've seen/read/played, and I think it would be great to see that level of detail in an FE game. Frankly, I would just love if, in terms of writing quality and storytelling strengths, FE was a little less Code Geass and a little more Fullmetal Alchemist.
  21. Ok...... I want to make a Edelgard plush doll, but, I don't know how to make a human plush..... Any questions?
  22. To commemorate the imminent release of TMSFE, let's do a round of which SMT/Persona (or Radiant Historia/Odin Sphere, if you so desire) character should have which FE character as their mirage. (I'm not sure whether this thread should be here or in a FE-specific thread, but anyway.) For the purpose of this excercise, the Atlus characters can have multiple mirages as their personas. My round: Persona 4: Yu: Male Robin Yosuke: not quite sure...Gatrie or Inigo maybe? Chie: Hana/Lyn Yukiko: Sakura/L'Arachel (Then again, I wouldn't mind Lilina with my Yu x Yukiko...eh never mind) Kanji: Ike, Hector, or Sigurd? Rise: Lalum Naoto: Lute/Soren? Teddie: uh don't know Nanako: Maria Marie: Tohru Adachi: Narcian Persona 3 Portable Minako: Female Robin or Female Byleth Junpei: Hinata Yukari: Lucina and Neimi Fuuka: Florina Akihiko: Dieck Mitsuru: Edelgard! Shinjiro: Rutger Ken: Lugh or Chad Aigis: Uhhh...maybe Idenn? Ikutsuki: Nergal Ryoji: Lyon? Persona 5: Akira: Maybe Leif (Thracia 776) Masayoshi Shido: Definitely one of the senators from Radiant Dawn So, what's everyone's take?
  23. Hey, you've probably never seen me before... that's not relevant at all to what i'm about to say. Anyways, i've created and "perfected" a Fire Emblem styled roleplaying game using MS Paint and a whole lotta Google Docs pages. Now, i'm a bit tired of my usual audience running off and "having lives", so I think i'd like to take my business somewhere mostly dedicated to Fire Emblem, even though this roleplaying section isn't actually restricted to Fire Emblem. So maybe i'm gonna make a Fire Emblem Roleplay later, but for now... I think i'd rather give whoever wants to participate a taste of power; i'll make everyone be Level 20/20, and give them access to 90% of the available items to choose and equip. And then, they'll set off to wreak havoc in a map against 24-36 enemies. If you were thinking about it, no, there will be very little roleplaying and interaction involved, though you're free to make an attempt at it if you're so inclined. All you're meant to do is fight a Fire Emblem battle so I can see just how well my system functions. So... anyone up for my grand trial map?
  24. The land of Eldrahgo is home to stories of might, magic, and valor. After centuries of war, its five kingdoms have managed secure peace that, so far, has endured even longer. Yet nothing lasts forever. In the blink of an eye, the whole continent is thrown into war again. Its only hope is a young man not of this world. A traveler who must learn to navigate this land if he has any hope of ever getting back home. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Foreword I've always been fascinated about the universe, space, other dimensions, the multi-verse theory, and other related topics generally considered the next frontier/final frontier. I believe in the multi-verse theory and wanted to create some sort of story based around that. And seeing as how there are a bunch of hacks out there set in what I consider parallel universes to the 'official' universes, I decided to go with using this multi-verse idea. Book of Eden is about a traveler from another dimension that whines up in one of those fire emblem universes. I known and talked to many people and one thing that intrigued me was how people always wanted or likes to either put self inserts, or create an alter ego of themselves, or even personal characters and put them into their favorite games/anime/universe. So I'm taking that concept and exploring how someone with little or no prior knowledge end up in one of my favorite universes. I love cross over between characters of different stories and finding out that in the official fire games, the dragon gate is an actual thing, I just might have an easier time bringing in other characters from different universes. So, in addition to the cast of Book of Eden, there will also be characters such as Ike from FE9&10 and Felix from Golden Sun TLA, just to name a few. Most will just be cameos but others will have both major and minor roles in the story. There's a saying that goes a little something like: "Born too late to explore the seas, but born too early to explore the stars." that perfectly captures how I feel about the current state of our world. Nothing beats the feeling of exploring new places and having adventures with those closest to you. Maybe the only exception to this, is having your heroes alongside you for the ride. So, I hope to convey this feeling through Book of Eden. If you would like to help with the creation of this hack, feel free to message me either here or on FEUniverse. Download Version 1.25 is out. Download Prologue to Ch.12, no gaiden chapters, totaling 13 chapters. Screenshots Patch Notes Known Bugs Credits
  25. Hi! I've been playing Fire emblem for years now and I've finally gotten up the guts to play lunatic in Awakening, and I was wondering who's the best marriage partner for each girl? I'm not going by support convos, I want to make all of the kids as strong as possible. BTW, my MU is a girl, but I'm pairing her with Frederick, and I'm pairing Chrom with Sumia. Both of those pairing are non-negotiable, but as far as everyone else; fire away!
