It seems suspicious because of the extremely low price and the fact that it's from China, where Bootlegs tend to come from. The seller has positive feedback, but there is still something off about this bid. My apologies if this is in the wrong section or against the rules. Although i don't think it is.

...why do so many people hate the DS games? Is it a bandwagon? Is it because they blame Shadow Dragon for almost making the series die? Is it because of the sales? is it because they're remakes? I honestly don't understand the hate. I personally enjoy both DS games so much. Mostly because their gameplay and difficulty are top-notch. The interface of it all is so sleek and awesome, with the top screen showing your character's stats and can be switched to a mini-map on the press of a button. The OST of both games is amazing. The multiple difficulties make them pretty challenging and replayable. Is lack of supports really that big of a deal when the rest of the game is so good, gameplay-wise?

I was thinking, since they remade the first and third Fire Emblems, why not remake another? While maybe not the next game they should work on, if they were to remake one of them in the future which one would you choose?

Basically, what I mean is would RD be better if the developers didn't put in PoR characters (that weren't directly involved with the Dawn Brigade) and instead focused on making more new characters and actually giving them personalities? This is mostly from a story/character perspective, although the DB definitely would benefit from more availability. (y'know, except for Sothe)

Hi. I wanted to do a special playthrough for this game and came up with this idea. Basically: Rules -Only Miriel Ricken Tharja Henry Noire and Laurent can see any combat in chapters after they're obtained. -Only Avatar can do combat for Prologue and Chapter 1 and then he/she doesn't count as a magic user. -Other units can be used for pair up, but they can never ever lead. This means I can't use the advantages of flight or + move but I can still use them for pairing up and marriage. Whether or not they can be equipped is up for voting. -Lissa may see use if she wins in the poll for healing until I obtain more than just Miriel. -I will visit all the Paralogues I can visit except children paralogues, which is up to my discretion. I am very likely to recruit Laurent and Noire. -Avatar can not pass down Veteran to any children. -The units mentioned above can only use tomes if they're in a class that can use other weapons like Dark Knight. -Nosferatu is banned from being bought. -Anna Merchant Shops are banned. -Skirmishes/Grinding are banned. -Boss abuse is banned. -Hard Mode, Classic. -Spotpass is banned. After Chapter 18, A rank tomes can be obtained from Spotpass. -Renown is allowed up to....NOT SURE YET. Well, there you go. Vote and I will start tomorrow.

Hello people of the forest that I... didn't burn (Really! Honest!)! Since I had not seen a forum like this on the site, I took it upon myself to create a place for us, the FE community, to share, create and argue all kinds of conspiracy theories! I'll start us off with a pretty non-conspiric one I sorta thought of/stole- Jugdral is Tellius (partly): This is one that, for a long time, I simply wrote off (as most people did, I assume, as I've only seen it once). The theory went that Tellius could be an 'ancestor/descendant land,' of the Kingdom of Silesse, as its general land-shape is similar to what we can see of Tellius (because the map cuts off) when rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise. So, as I said, I thought this was bull crap. But then I did a regular run of Infinite Regelia and started counting the deadlords. It was then I came across what changed my mind, Simia, the ninth deadlord. I noticed after a little bit how Simia rather heavily resembled Mia of FE9/10. And I made the connection then that- 1) Deadlords are made from living (or once living) warriors, who maintain/regain many of their previous skills and abilities. 2) Simia resembles Mia, a once-living warrior from Tellius, and both are Swordmasters 3) of twelve Deadlords, the only ones with their origins covered are Mus (Raydrik), Bovis (Galzus), Tigris (Dagdar), Draco (Eyvel), Canis (Sara), and Porcus (Lifis). Simia's origins are still up for debate. These facts together made me began to give some validity to this 'Tellius is the same as Silesse' theory. Could it be that Simia is Mia's deadlord? The similarity in their names, appearance and abilities got me thinking, yes. And that would mean that Tellius was before Jugdral (I really wish is it was 'Judgral'), and that they are the same continent. 'But AnonymousSpeed,' you say, 'Silesse is a frozen wasteland akin to Illia, how could it ever be Tellius?' Well, has not the flow of time moved and change the continents of ours world? Antarctica, a barren field of snow and ice, was once near the equator in the massive heap know as Pangea. And also, there have also been times were the planet has undergone sudden drops in temperature (the ice ages). Is it not plausible that the events of Tellius occurred many centuries and millennia before the events of Jugdral, and that in that time the land shifted northward, becoming much colder? And why would the map of Tellius just, cut off in the east? Maybe to hide how beyond Daein and Begnion lies the stage for the unborn epics of Sigurd, Leif and Seliph?! Possibly. Yeah, I know, there must be about a hundred things going against this, but it's still fun to see how plausible this really is. So, feel free to bring in your own conspiracy theories or argues against them. Either way, don't stop conspiring! Let the discussion rage like the fires I totally didn't start!

Okay, so I'm sincerely suprised at the lack of Character and Series threads here, ESPECIALLY a FE character discussion thread. This is a general FE character discussion thread. Come and discuss Ike, and Marth, as well as Roy and any other potential newcomers. To start things off, I'll give my little two cents. Who's staying: Marth, Ike I really don't see either of them being cut, despite the pretty much guarantee that SOME characters will not return. Ike doesn't really seem like the type to cut. I have no real reasons to back up him not being cut other than gut instinct, though. I just don't see TOO MANY cuts, and the characters I see being cut aren't him. Who's being included? I don't know. I think the current pool would be between Roy, Chrom, Lucina, and Lyn though. Not only are they the most popular choices, but they all have a bit extra going for them besides that. Roy was in Melee, which, is a big deal in itself. Chrom and Lucina are from the most current FE game, which PROBABLY DOES mean something considering Intellegent Systems seems to suggest characters to Sakurai. And Lyn was an AT, which is something. Who I would LIKE: Eirkia & Ephraim Duo, Tharja, Caeda I like Eirika and Ephraim a lot, they're from the only FE game I've played. Tharja has a lot of charm, and I like her design and moveset potential. Caeda got dem Lances, and she's Marth's lady. I've always had a thing for her, iunno why. Now, let's discuss :)

I have had this idea for a while and I was wondering if it was possible for making a command to capture an enemy in FE7 like in FE5?

Hey guys well I just started playing Fire Emblem Gaiden today and well this is my first time playing a NES Fire Emblem so what am I to expect? and what is different from the SNES and GBA Fire Emblem games? how hard is this one?

Drafting: 1. This draft is for 4 players. Each player may choose up to 6 units. 2. Chrom, Avatar, Morgan, Olivia and Lucina are free for all to use. 3. The game will be played on Normal Mode Casual. 4. You can play as either gender avatar. Why? Every draft I've seen has been Hard Mode, so having one on Normal would be an interesting change, due to it being easier and the quicker exp growth. Rules: 1. Undrafted units may: pair up with undrafted units and trade with undrafted/drafted units (but must not be in range of a drafted unit when battling) 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to: pairing up with drafted units, meatshielding, healing and supporting with drafted units. 3. NPC units may do as they please without penalty. 4. Paralogues are optional and are free up to 10 turns. 5. Challenge battles are banned. You may have undrafted units clear a challenge battle to shop, though any items obtained must be discarded/cannot be used or sold. 6. Map shopping is allowed, including items sold from Anna Merchant shops. 7. Mothers are drafted with their children, but are drafted at the same time as the rest of the units. 8. Use of DLC and Spotpass (including Free Content) for grinding is strictly prohibited. 9. Forging is allowed. 10. Frederick is banned. Extra: 1. The Rescue staff can only be used once per turn. 2. Avatar may only be a Tactician or a Grandmaster, and must unequip Veteran as soon as possible. Penalties: 1. Undrafted units performing any disallowed action is worth a penalty of 4 turns, 2. Undrafted units pairing up with drafted units is worth a penalty of 20 turns instead. Exceptions: 1. Ricken and Maribelle are free to be attacked without countering in Ch.5. 2. Nowi and Gregor are free for Ch.8. So to compensate, this thread will be absolutely nothing but Fire Emblem. So I don't know if this is a legitmate question or if it's been answered already(which is beyond me, because I already googled it and found nothing), but if I don't get Fin a lover in the 1st generation, when he comes back in generation 2 will he still have the equipment he had before he left, or just start with an iron lance again?

Ok folks, it is time to settle something that has been a hot topic for a while, among the kid Fire Emblem units, who is the stronger unit between the ever fabulous Inigo Shin, or the massive chump (just like Shin), Brady Horace. We are assuming efficient play, as much as it pains me to use the term. No sitting around killing reinforcements and the such, or spending turns waiting for the enemy to come to you. Lastly before I begin, I'd both appreciate no interruption until all is said and done, feel free to comment when they're done. Judging will be done by a neutral arbitrator that has never played a Fire Emblem game, such as PKL, Refa, or Sharpy. Keep it clean, guys. Each personal attack will result in a 4 turn penalty for your theoretical playthrough. If you are banned from SerenesForest from said attack, it will be increased to an 8 turn penalty. Warp is banned. Wendy is free.

Do you remember how Zelda could transform into Sheik in Smash Bros. Melee? I hadn't played ocarina of time yet, so thanks for the spoiler Nintendo! Do you think there could be a way of keeping people from being spoiled, unless they really wanted to? Perhaps a spoiler setting, or maybe a questionaire about games and the spoilers involved. Perhaps, as an example, they could use Lucina in the spoilerriffic versions, but replace her with masked Marth in the spoiler-free ones. It could run as a client-side service, I don't know, I know it'll keep people who haven't played awakening yet from being angry about how marth isn't really who she says she is, though.

An idea based on the Outrealms and our favorite FE mascot, Anna. As we all know, Anna is known to have a plethora of ancestors, mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, nieces all named Anna. Her family even keeps a history log of all the events all the Annas have witnessed in excruciating detail. This magical log is known as the Annathology. [Obvious pun of Anna Anthology.] It not only keeps a record of Annan history, but also helps to stabilize Outrealm history. Without it, all the Outrealms can fall apart. [Much worse than Grima awakening.] Well, someone has taken it. Not only did they take the book, but they intend to rewrite history, with the original Anna's special quill that helps the book stabilize the Outrealms - a fiery red quill known as [you guessed it] the Fire Emblem, the other half of the Anna family heirloom. Your mission is to get the Fire Emblem and the Annathology back before all of history is doomed. [Other story elements currently in progress.] Being that it's an anthology, you go across many of the outrealms, completing chapters in a manner similar to Awakening's World Map, except it's an Outrealm Map this time. The various outrealms contain not only new characters and locales, but old locales and familiar faces as well. Other details being worked out at this time. What do you all think of this idea thus far?

Since I'm basically new to hacking, please allow me a noobish question. Let's just say I created a FE hack on my ROM (even though I haven't) How could I turn said hack into a patch for everyone to play? Since posting links to roms is illegal and all, why would you even download a new rom when all you needed to do was apply a patch to your already existing rom? Oh, and if there's something about this topic that breaks the rules, please let me know, since I don't need a warning right now...

I've remained hopeful that New Mystery of the Emblem would be localized ever since it was announced a few years ago. But now, after such a long time, my hope dwindles. Yeah I know it should have completely dwindles by now, but... *Shrugs* Does anyone think there's a chance it'll be officially localized? Maybe the last major game for the DS to his North American/European/Australian/every place outside Japan shores?

So I've been pondering whether or not should I write this story but my decision must be pretty clear considering I'm posting this. Anyways the Story's basic grounds will be based on Fire Emblem meaning, such things as Anima magic and all that are included but it will be on an entirely new continent with new places, people, and a new story. As I considered actually putting this out there I kind of planned a lot and even got around to making a shitty decent map. Map: Characters: First chapter will be out in a bit.

Hey Guys. :3 I'll just get straight to the point here. This fanfic will be centered around Fire Emblem 4: Seisen no Keifu and its cast/storyline. For those of us who have played the game the characterization was rather poor especially when put next to other games in the series. In this fanfic I'll try to fix that. Give each character a back-story, a more vibrant personality. It'll follow the main flow of the game as the characters different stories unfold along the way, from the Verdane invasion all the way to the tragic last battle of our hero Sigurd. And eventually his son's story as well. In other words I'm fleshing out the characters in a way which will be hopefully entertaining and intriguing. I'm not sure if Genealogy FFs are all the rage here or if this has been done before but regardless I'll try my best to capture the essence of the game and its storyline along with adding the ever so needed personalities. :) But before we can actually start, we need to figure out pairings right?
