  1. Hello everyone. I am The ChoZen One. I am a youtuber who's known for his Nintendo and Shantae content. I always been a big fan of fire emblem since my brother got into the series with Sacred Stones he gotten through the 3DS Ambassador Program. And I started my journey with Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright years later. I have played many of games and love every single one of them thus far. My favorite being Three Houses and Path of Radiance in particular. I have yet to play the japan only ones but I have played every single US released FE outside me haven't yet completed Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn. I personally may want to wait for Geneology to get a remake to play it but we'll see. I plan to make content on fire emblem soon and do some interesting playthroughs (playing on hardest difficulty) and such. I will stream a Golden Deer playthrough on Maddening for the first time ever soon!! This may be the hardest difficulty I ever attempted since Conquest Hard as I never played the hardest difficulty before outside Sacred Stones since I knew it was one of the easier games in the series. I plan to make my content more catered towards the casual side of FE players despite me learning so much about the techniques used when trying to play as effficient and viable as possible, so I figured it would be fun to see this slightly casual playet attempt such a hard difficulty. I would like to make top tens and such someday when I get the chance amd hope to entertain anyone interested. I personally love to discuss the stories and characters of the fire emblem world and explore their relationships with eachother. Im super into supports and analyzing characters as much as possible, so I hope to have some fun discussing with you all!! If you are interested in my future journey with fire emblem on my channel. You can find my Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5aOs8evzaBieb_2QnAHhAg My Favorite character is Owain because he calls himself the Chosen One and his silly antics are hialirous to me but I love that he has an actual tragic reason behind all that that really makes me care and empathize with him. His relationship with Severa, Inigo is also really well done and I adore the trio a lot. Ike is also tied with him as I feel he is the best written character in the series. Ike is just a fantastic character overall!! Also I adore Hapi and Lissa. They are my top waifus of FE and are great characters!!
  2. In three houses Byleth is a stillborn with the crestone of SoC.We all know that But if Byleth died Such as when Kostas stab them in heart destroying said Crestone/Sothis. Would the story or world still exist? I mean Byleth HAS to work for the church and if they don’t then. The last few New entries did such as Fates. The plot revolves around Corrin and Byleth/Sothis. If your world can’t continue without them than this tier of writing is worse than fanfiction tier.Espicialy since all the world building becomes obsolete in a fell swoop. If they could say no or die without derailling the story then it would be Natural but I’m doubtful about that. But what do you people think? I’m more worried for the story because you don’t want the tension or purpose of the story gone just by removing Corrin/Byleth
  3. So I had this idea of a rom hack where you have an avatar but with questions that determines what kind of person their are like D&D. If its possible a world where you can meet most FE character and build your empire. Perhaps a academy to attend as student. I would love your thoughts since I’ve been playing Legends of Runersia. Fire Emblem Three Houses and RPG maker on switch. Are you the next brave hacker to achieve this task?
  4. ''There is a place between war and murder in which our demons lurk.'' Hello Community. I'm not usually one to do this type of thing but I think I'm finally due to put something out. It's small but I made a promise to have this out by early August and I plan to commit to that promise. What Is This? Clash of Fates is a fan-made League of Legends themed mod centering on a war started between Noxus and its allies and the fall of the Institute of War. In the wake of the League Championship series final matches the City-States of Noxus and Zaun launched a devastating attacking upon the Institute of War. A potent weapon known only as spell blight cut those on sight of the Institute of War off from their magic while their aggressors were fully prepared for battle. For now, the story turns to Riven, an exile of her country who opposes the brutal nature of this attack. My ultimate goal for this mod is to produce something that will cater to fans of the League of Legends game but will also satisfy Fire Emblem fans. This is a mod I dont want to make about difficulty, but rather something different and more memorable. Expect the game to offer more beyond a main story. How much is done right now? What I have in the patch right now is a complete chapter but I formerly had two playable chapters and one structured but not playable. Music? I plan on eventually getting around to edits to the OST. As it stands I've done one successful insert. (I'm not the best at this) That guy in your avatar is that guy in TLP who is that guy in this mod? Why is he here with so much HP? Self Insert! OP! Long story short, Tekun tends to be in most things I got a larger hand in. Just the way of things. Can I help? Absolutely. I always looking for a hand with anything! Will X Champion be in this? I don't know. It's a W.I.P. If there's a need for X, I'll get X in there. I'm doing what I can. If there's a portrait out there and Y person feels like letting me use it then the odds of Z being in goes up. I'm one ninja man, I'm doing my best. They know their involvement. They know I'm thankful and they know I love the fact they've aided me with this. I hope I did not forget anyone. D: There's been a lot of help. Download: Clash of Fates v.0.1 Clash of Fates v.0.2 You'll need a GBA emulator (obviously), a UPS patcher, Which can be found here, and a clean copy of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword to play this. Don't ask me for a ROM. I won't give you one. 7/30/15: So I have some explaining. I realized that I didn't like the direction I was heading in so I opted to do some restructuring. I decided I wanted to focus a little bit more on other Champions so I wanted to branch out and explore that. With the Lore of the game finally making a come back I decided that hey, I should put forth a little more effort while dealing with one hundred different projects. The following patch v.0.2 contains 3 Chapters. Two that follow Sion and Fiora and a "Trial" that follows Ashe. Hopefully this is worth posting.

  6. Hello Serenes Forum, I am a french videomaker-wannabe who recently produced a lenghty analysis of the game design of FE7, with extension to the whole series. Having browsed this forum for years for interesting discussions, I know this place has the best concentration of Fire Emblem enthusiasts on the net, probably including french ones, so I humbly submit this video to their attention. https://youtu.be/UMXy5Rh416U
  7. A year and a half ago I did this series with FE1-3 but had a huge block with FE. However I am back baby! I wanted to save this for tomorrow but I was too excited for this! I had been putting this off for almost a year and a fucking half but no more! It is time for the Fire Emblem Retrospective to return with a 1/6th preview of my first FE4 video!
  8. Fire Emblem 5 is one of my absolute favorite parts from this series. Unfortunately I could have not enjoyed the story yet for playing with rubbish translation. With this translation patch the localisation issue is solved...... at least it should be. I have not used this patch yet, so I am very excited to try this one out. Anyways this playthrough will not be any special except I will recruit as many units as possible. That said not everyone can be recruited since a few units are exclusive depending on which route was picked. If you want to suggest me the route, then leave it in the comments. On the picked route I will recruit everyone (not re-recruitments). Also I will explain this game, mainly to intodruce people into this game who have not played this game but are interested in it. It can be boring, but a screenshot says a thousand word anyways. I will start upcoming weekend as I will update on every weekend for now simply because of restricted freetime during the week.
  9. Since it's been nearly two years since Banryu did his post on the Lodestar, I thought I'd try my hand, since I recently gave him a full build. I will go on his base stats, but remember that those can have 6 or 7 added to them easily through merges (which are cheap for a 3/4* unit you probably have loads of in your barracks) and Dragon Flowers. Also, before I begin, shoutout to @BANRYU, who did a build of this man back in 2018. You can find his thread here. Marth, the Hero-King of Altea, the Star and Savior, and the slayer of the Shadow Dragon, is unfortunately rough to use these days due to his generation one stats. He has a BST of 158 at neutral IVs, though his speed stat (with a boon) is still respectable even for Gen 4 standards. He also comes in with a salvagable defense and a decent HP and ATK. His RES, however, is hopeless. He does come with a PRF weapon - Falchion (Mystery). Like all Falchions, his is effective against Dragon units, and gives him an innate Renewal skill, which can be really nice, and led to a full build template focused around this specific weapon. His refine, however, is what put him on the map as one of the best buffers of Generation 1, by giving a spectrum bonus of +2 to allies within two spaces during combat. Even today, that bonus is nothing to sniff at. It's a very easy condition to meet, and any unit who needs buffs could make use of it. * Level 40 Stats: HP: 37 / 41 / 44 Atk: 28 / 31 / 34 Spd: 31 / 34 / 37 Def: 25 / 29 / 32 Res: 20 / 23 / 26 BST: 157~158 Default Skills: Weapon: Falchion Assist: Pivot Special: -- A-Skill: -- B-Skill: Escape Route 3 C-Skill: Spur Speed 3 Star and Savior - Physical Tank
  10. So, If you don't know what FE Recolor is,1) Why are you here, and 2) It is a program made by BwdYeti. (Link Right here) It's a very cool program that lets you recolor sprites from the GBA era of Fire Emblem. However, it is missing a lot of sprites, and while the Pirate one is easy to find, the rest, like the FE6 exclusive Sprites and ESPECIALLY the monsters from FE8, are really hard to find, to the point where through all my digging, I could only scrape up a tutorial on how to make sprites compatible. So I made pretty much all the sprites I could, and they're all here: Missing Sprites Here, Ta Daaaaaa These include all the Monster sprites, Most, if not all FE6 Exclusive Sprites, and some missing sprites from FE7. I also did some work on some already existing Sprites, so that it shows more versions that use it's palette. For Example, the Female Druid sprite uses the same Palette as the Male Druid, however the original FE Recolor Sprite image only showed the male, so I put in the female. I marked the ones I worked on under revised so that you don't have to change anything, its just so that you can see it for an example. Directions Step 1: Extract all to a safe Location where it wont cause any hassle for you Step 2: Go into Missing Sprites>Sprites and Copy all the Pictures there into FE Recolor>sprites>battle_sprites Step 3: Go into Missing Sprites>Data and Copy all the .dat files into FE Recolor>data>sprites, This makes it so that you don't have to manually re position all the Palette indexes. For the Revised Sprites: Same steps as 2 and 3 except be sure to delete/move the previous .png and .dat files before adding them. UPDATE I've added The FE7 Female Thief Sprite, It could be the FE6 Sprite, but It was just easier to make an all new one. -Added Berserker (Hawkeye) and a Lucius Sprite on the Bishop image. Notes So I have tested all the sprites I could with BS Palette assembler, however, I could not test the Monster sprites, Zephiel's sprite, or the Manakete-transformed sprites. Please tell me if they don't work too well in-game and please provide screenshots. Also make sure its correct on your end. Also, If I missed any sprites, please tell me, as I'll make it and add it on. Thank you in advance! And I hope I was of help.
  11. Hey there people of Serene's Forest! I have decided to make a fan game featuring a Legend of Zelda theme but using Fire Emblem mechanics. I have the general story, classes, characters, and stats down, but I am having trouble designing sprites that are good. I have always been rather bad at art, so I don't see myself being able to design 30+ characters with all of their separate classes. I was hoping to get some help from some artists here! Honestly any help at all would be nice. Feel free to ask questions about the game or post sprite sheets here. Anything you guys can offer would be helpful. Thanks!
  12. NOTE: This post is prone to edit over time as additional content is considered. Over at Zelda Universe I've posted this idea for a Zelda/Fire Emblem mashup. Basically you take Fire Emblem's core gameplay and classes and mix them with Zelda's world and races. The game has three major modes: Campaign Battle invading armies to protect Hyrule in story-based campaigns! The core war strategy game and story. Adventure Explore Hyrule's landscape looking for materials and treasure! This is roughly analogous to Hyrule Warriors' Adventure Maps. Basically, this is where the Zelda series' signature exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay comes in. There are still enemy units to battle, but it's less of two armies fighting and more of a party of scouts skirmishing with enemy camps. Your party consists of 1-6 units, which can come from either your army or generic units. My Village Build and customize your own village to gain food, weapons, and other useful items! Materials found in Adventure Mode are used here to construct buildings which provide you with a variety of useful items and services. A Smithy for example produces weapons while a Farm produces Wheat or Rice. This would serve a similar role to My Castle from Fates. Tribes Hyrule Wars has three major races (Hylians, Sheikah, Gerudo), three secondary races (Gorons, Zora, and Rito), and monster units (like Moblins and Stalfos). The major three races are called so because the majority of the playable units belong to one of them, while the secondary races have fewer but more specialized units. Monster Units are the primary enemies in the game, and function similar to playable units (many of them use the same kinds of weapons) but with some nuances. Each of the six playable tribes feature a host of classes from which their units draw by default; through the Spouse/Friendship system, they can gain access to classes belonging to other tribes. Hylian Fighter Mercenary Archer Knight Cavalier Sky Knight Druid Cleric Troubadour Wolfkin Sheikah Samurai Shrine Guard Scout Ninja Diviner Monk Keaton Gerudo Thief Desert Fighter Desert Guard Bow Rider Desert Mage Wyvern Rider Dragonkin Dancer Zora River Guard Medic Water Mage Goron Bladesmith Mountaineer Geomancer Rito Hawkeye Aerie Guard Shaman Link himself starts as a Champion, which of course uses Swords, and promotes into a Legend, which adds Bows. His secondary class is determined by the player upon starting the game. Zelda starts as a Princess, which uses Bows, and promotes into a Queen which adds Staves. Her secondary class would likely be Sky Knight or Cleric. Incidentally, Champion and Prince/Princess as classes both have gender differences: female Champions start with Bows rather than Swords and gain Swords upon promotion, while a male Prince wields Swords in place of Bows and promotes into King which, like Queen, adds Staves. Weapons The game makes use of a modified weapon triangle, where each color now has melee, missile, and magic weapons. Swords, Axes, and Lances correspond to red, green, and blue as before, but now Tomes are split into Earth/Fire, Wind/Lightning, and Water/Ice magic, while Bombs join Bows and Daggers as the ranged equivalents. Staves and Stones return as colorless, though I'm looking at the possibility of Stones becoming a singular category. As a sidenote about Magic, I understand that for a long time the FE series has featured Fire, Wind, and Lightning as a trio when it isn't Light, Dark, and Anima, and that ice and water magic is usually grouped with wind. I don't know if they were making a conscious effort to avoid the classic Fire Ice Lightning trio, but I find that for Hyrule Wars breaking tradition here works fine as it fits the tribe-class-weapon algorithm. Light and Dark weapons exist as subcategories; Light Weapons tend to be a little weaker on average but offer positive bonuses like boosted damage against certain monster types or passive HP recovery. Light weapon icons feature an aura or glow. Dark weapons tend to be stronger or nastier than normal but have negative side effects such as stat reduction or gradual HP loss. Dark weapon icons have a shadowy aura. Each tribe leans towards certain colors of weapon, though all three colors are available to each tribe. Red - Gerudo and Gorons Green - Hylians and Rito Blue - Sheikah and Zora There exist certain patterns within the various tribes and their class equivalents. For example, each tribe gets one distinct mage class that uses the Tome of their main color (Hylian Druids with Green, Sheikah Diviners with Blue, Gerudo Desert Mages with Red, Goron Geomancers with Red, Zora Water Mages with Blue, and Rito Shamans with Green) and can promote into a Sage class that adds Staves (Hylian Sacred Sages, Sheikah Shrine Sages, Gerudo Desert Sages, Goron Fire Sages, Zora Water Sages, and Rito Forest Sages). The human Mages each can also promote into a class that uses two or more colors of Tome (Hylian Wizards use green and blue, Sheikah Oracles use blue and red, and Gerudo Sorcerers use all three). The nonhuman Mages meanwhile get secondary options that add a type of melee weapon of a complimentary color (Goron Mountain Lords add Axes, Zora River Lords add Swords, and Rito Sky Lords add Lances). The human tribes each get a class that uses weapons of all three colors. Hylians get Great Knight which of course uses Swords, Axes, and Lances, Sheikah get Engineer which uses Bombs, Bows, and Daggers, and Gerudo get the aforementioned Sorcerer which uses red, green, and blue Tomes. Weapon uses return with tweaks. Melee weapons have durability, and no longer vanish when they break; they simply become broken weapons with minimal stats (1 might and no bonus effects). They can be repaired at an Armory. Missile weapons - Bombs, Bows, Daggers - now have ammunition. When the weapon runs out of ammo, you can't use it, but you can reload it. Magical weapons likewise have charges which work very similar to ammunition. Melee weapon uses are only spent if the unit connects, while missile and magical weapons always spend a shot when attacking. Additionally, I would consider introducing Bare Hands as a new special weapon type that can be used by any combat-capable unit with no useable weapon on hand. Bare Hands are colorless, have no statistic benefits whatsoever, and can't critical or trigger special skills. Relationships Like Awakening and Fates, there is a relationship system, though it too receives a few tweaks to accomodate the Gorons. See, Gorons don't reproduce the same way the other five tribes do (as far as we know), so they don't really have a use for marriage. They do however accept outsiders as honorary brothers (and potentially sisters), so that takes the place of marriage for Gorons. They do still have kids and those kids do inherit classes. I'm not sure whether fathers or mothers should be the determinate parents this time; Gerudo kinda require determinate mothers, while Gorons are all male and thus their parents by definition are fathers. Link and Zelda each get a special child in the fashion of Lucina or Morgan in FEA. Link has Linkle as a daughter, while Zelda has a son named Xeldon.

  14. If a seasonal unit had to get a PRF who desperately would want the refine and what kind of weapon would you give them?
  15. Haven’t played this game but it seems fun Should I plan on getting it on the switch?
  16. We can all agree the FEH pass blows right? But I think we should at the very least acknowledge why it is bad, and form complaints to IS/Nintendo Mobile about why it’s bad So I got two questions for everyone 1: What things should have been in the pass that would make it worth getting, but at the same time not implement a P2W scenario like with Early Life SW Battlefield 2 2: What exactly is bad about the pass, and what changes would you make to it in any way?
  17. What crossover spinoff do you think would work well? What genre would the crossover be? What lords would you love to see involved? What non lords would you love to see involved? And what other spinoff ideas would you like to see for fire emblem?
  18. I heard that Kris or MU was a very controversial character i wanted to ask fans of this game if it is true and if so... How would you change him?
  19. Which weapon do you feel Lysithea is going to wield? Given that Green is going to be taken by Edlegard with Amyr Blue is going to be taken by Dimitri with Areadbhar Claude has a bow which is primarily colorless Dark Magic is red primarily with few exceptions (Dark Aura and Dark Excaliur) Futhermore Lysithea has two crests Charon and Gloucester it makes sense that she would have Red as her color but this asks a question. Which Relic is she going to have? Thyrsus points Dark Magic is Red, and Lysithea is known for Dark Magic She is typically much more powerful with this staff then with Thunderbrand If Claude is Red, Thyrsus could maker her Colorless Unit Thunderbrand Points Hidden Proficiency in swords, which gives her a Magic sword technique Has a support with Catherine with them bonding over their crests
  20. What’s the most unexpected class choice that sounds dumb on concept, but personally worked for your playthrough Right now, a Swordmaster Ferdinand is wrecking things on my Church Playthrough
  21. If you could create a chapter for an FE game: the objective, the environment, the layout, the enemy placements, the main gimmicks, etc., what would it be? EDIT: I should give an example. My chapter would be a multi-part chapter where the heroes have to lay siege to an enemy castle, and there's no secret entrance that makes things easy; the heroes have to get in the hard way. Part 1 is storming the front gate. Objective: Arrive at the tiles blocked by the castle gate. The player's army has to approach the front gatehouse and find a way to get their army inside. They have two options: seize control of the upper part of the gatehouse and open the gate, or have your units wheel the battering ram up to the gate and have it destroy the gate. It takes multiple turns for the ram to destroy the gate, however, and the ram can be destroyed by the enemies. To get to the upper part of the gatehouse, one must get up the front wall and get inside. Flying units could just fly up to the wall, but the wall's littered with archers, and the gatehouse towers have ballistae. One could have their infantry units carry siege ladders to the wall and ascent the wall via the ladders. However, enemies can knock down the ladders on their phase, and the fall damages your units. Part 2 is seizing the courtyard. Objective: Seize the entrance to the keep. This chapter comprises of taking the castle's courtyard. The wall is littered with enemy archers and mages, and the stairs to the walls are guarded by knights. The layout of the courtyard is divided into multiple sections; each of which is separated from the others by a wall and a gate. Again, flying units can fly over the walls, but the large number of archers and mages makes this a bad idea. But these gates aren't nearly as challenging to breach. Part 3 is taking the keep. Objective: Defeat the enemy commander at the top floor of the keep. This is an indoor chapter where all mounted units must dismount (if dismount is in the game) or have their movement significantly cut. The layout of this mission is a multiple-story map with multiple rooms. One has to ascend from the bottom floor to the top floor.
  22. I was thinking about it in my head but should the next fe foucs on a specific culture(s) or just carry on with a european medival setting. I would personally like and african based continent or maybe and iberean continent. Also i would like the next game whereever it takes place to link a previous world to it without the use of dlc ect. what would you like the setting to be?
  23. This is a program that will generate a text document with randomized class changes for all of the characters in Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. Fe 11 Randomizer.zip instructions 1. Unzip the file 2. Open the dist folder 3. Run the ShadowDragonRandomizer.exe 4. Your randomized list will be Characters.txt in the same folder Post any feedback in the comments below
  24. Yeah, I saw this video, but, I was sad for this Smash Direct, and Edelgard was disconfirmed to be a Fighter, only appears as a cameo in the Stage: Garreg Mach Monastery and Spirit. And you, what do you think about this fighter?
  25. Do you think it should be a remake or a brand new game and why? I want to find out who the First Exalt is, what happened to the Valentian Falchion, and what happened to Grima during and details about the Schism, so I say a game on that next, or an Elibe saga remake.
