  1. So I'm working on my reclass run of FE8, which I got from the "Monstrously Random Reclass" topic currently just below this one. I'll be taking opinions on preferred promotion paths for the characters I have so far, and I'm also interested to see what people think of the run in and of itself. UPDATE If my comment on the prologue video gets 10 or more thumbs up, I'll go ahead and release this romhack on SF when I'm done. As of this post, two chapters are recorded and more are on the way!   2. Hey guys! I have a new LP that replaces my FE6RW LP (It was boring and bug ridden) plus it's actually a game with a good level of challenge with lots of twists and turns! Yes, Thracia is one of my most favorite games ever and I'm playing it with the updates Joesteve put into it, so you can look forward to seeing the new translations as well :) In addition, I'll be pointing out text that needs fixing for Joe's use, maybe it'll help him spot things that he would have originally missed? In this run, we have randomized Classes, Skills (credits to Tables for that idea) and Movement Stars, giving all the units a measure of some usability! I won't be disclosing the stats and skills since I like surprises in my LP's for the viewers, but rest assured there's gonna be some fun moments :) Also, fun fact: There are 52 classes in Thracia (not counting Emperor) and 53 playable characters, therefore every character in the game has their own unique class! Well, one has a duplicate, but that's all right, they needed the good promotion choice. I'll be posting a video soon outlining how I decided on the process for randomizing my LP, in case others want to rip my process off copy me so they can do their own well designed Reclasses :D
  3. So after FE8MR is finished (and not before), I had an idea to do a spinoff with similar features but set in FE7. I want the FE7 one to be a lot more challenging though, so here's a list of things I've come up with. -Random Reclasses for playable characters -Fixed LCK and WLVLS -All weapons have 150 hitrate and Luna properties. -Random growths for all characters, not counting LCK which is set at 0%. (Base stats will be untouched) -Marcus now a T1, not a jeigan. (I'm a good enough player to not need a jeigan) -All bows have 2-3 range. Longbow has 2-4 range. -Buffed bosses (Suggested by Gen. Horace) So obviously there will be randomly reclassed playable characters. I want no more than one of every class per character, including enemy classes, and this is how I've decided to do it. 1. Count all the characters in the game. 2. Line them up by order of appearance, starting in Eliwood mode, not Lyn mode. 3. List whether they are Tier 1 or 2. 4. Count the number of classes in the game. 5. If there are as many or less T1 classes than there are T1 characters, those characters get reassigned to their new classes. If there are still T1 characters left over, they become T2's. 6. If there are MORE T1 classes than there are T1 characters, the T2 characters you get earliest in the game become T1 and they are assigned classes as usual. 7. All endgame characters will be T2, including Nino. For the Fixed Luck, all characters will have their luck stat as usual+class bonus, then I will give another bonus based on their starting class. Axes/Dark users: +2 LCK. Lances/Light users: +3 LCK. Swords/Anima users: +5 LCK. Bow/Stave users: +8 LCK. Nobody will be able to gain LCK so it'll maybe make the game more interesting, even if Luck is a fairly useless stat. For fixed WLVLS, no weapon will give WEXP. Simple, really. Also I will try and balance character starting WLVLS, but the game is going to be geared towards giving Prepromotes the advantage of using better weapons, since they will have worse growths. All weapons having Luna and 150 hitrate probably is the most controversial addition, but I think it'll make the game a lot harder. The player already kills enemy mooks easily, so getting more damage on mooks means little. However, this will allow the mooks to gang up and kill any unit left unprotected, and there is also no chance of them missing (Unless it's an axe user against a swordmaster, maybe...) so in my opinion, this addition will make the game a lot harder. For random growths, all T1's will have randomized growths ranging from 0-130%. All T2's will be randomized from 0-65%. Even though it's random, hopefully nobody will turn out godawful or completely broken. Aaaaaand Marcus is now a T1, the same as all your other little noobs. Any thoughts about this? Any ideas for other global changes or tweaks?

I'm not yet complete with my FE8MR LP yet, but I decided to start a second main LP series for FE6, because I still haven't played FE6 yet and I want to LP it but the original gameplay was much too boring and repetetive for me. With that in mind, I devised an all new LP concept; Random Weapons! The first video will explain all of this in great detail.
