Okay, So i'm playing through fates on my birthright route, and I marry one of the female units that can marry other units beside just me.... then I notice Azama doesn't have a wife.... so... so if I marry a female unit that can marry other characters I steal a spot from another male unit so I will be unable to recruit one of the kids? In the end it is an uneven number of children if I count Mitama, so is that right? Does that mean if I want every single kid I should have married Scarlet? (and I get one extra unpaired kid?) or in conquest I should marry Flora? so I can get ALL the kids? that carries to revelations. does that mean I can have all the kids there and have every single main line unit paired up? Help would be really appreciated. I just don't get it... -
Pretty self-explanatory, but any help with the following pairings would be extremely helpful! I've organized them according to how confident I feel about them, meaning I'm pretty set on the beginning pairings, but could use a lot of help towards the bottom of the lists. Thanks in advance! Nohr: Xander x Kamui (unchangeable) Leo x Nyx Odin x Elise Zero x Camilla Flannel x Azura (thought Azura could use the defensive support bonus, plus their kids should be pretty great?) Lazward x Charlotte (like this one for the supports/personality more tbh) Kaze x Mozume Silas x Effie Arthur x Berka Benoit x Pieri Jacob x Felicia (basically the leftovers, but don't their modifiers clash?) (Luna is alone, mostly because I dislike her personality) Hoshido: (much more unsure about this list; a lot can be switched around) Jacob x Kamui (can marry Kaze, Subaki, or Takumi instead if optimization deems it necessary) Ryoma x Kagerou Takumi x Oboro (vassal-lord love) Subaki x Hinoka (red-haired Matoi yes) Hinata x Setsuna (balance out Hinata's terrible speed, and vice versa for Setsuna's paltry defense/strength?) ~Yomi x Sakura ~Saizou x Felicia (~=magic moms can be switched around) ~Asama x Orochi Kaze x Hana (I want to avoid doing the same pairings as in Nohr, so if Mozume-Kaze before, none of that now) Silas x Mozume Nishiki x Azura (Rinkah is alone, mostly cause I heard she's a subpar unit)

Hey ya'll, I'm really struggling with making some decisions regarding some pairings in my Conquest campaign and I was hoping I could get some advice and opinions. So far, what I think I'm going with is: -MC/Felicia (or Ophelia or Velouria, depending on their parents) -Jakob/Camilla, or Jakob/Nyx (I really want a Dwyer who can potentially do mage stuff, just can't decide between these two) -Xander/Selena (I was told Xander/Charlotte makes a much better Siegbert?) -Benny/Beruka -Leo/Felicia or Leo/Nyx? (Can't decide who to pair Nyx with, Jakob or Leo) -Odin/Elise -Effie/Arthur -Keaton/Camilla or Keaton/Charlotte? (was told Keaton pairs well with Camilla. Originally planned on doing Keaton/Charlotte but if Xander pairs with Charlotte instead of Selena I can't really pull that off) -Kaze/Azura (Dat speed doe. Not sure if this is a waste of Azura?) I'm really tearing my hair out about this, if you guys could give me suggestions and stuff I'd really appreciate it because I'm apparently too finicky about it to make definitive choices this time around. Biggest things to keep in mind are: -Not sure who I wanna pair MC wiht yet -Dwyer is my favorite kid character and really wanna make him one of the DLC classes later, so I'm really wanting to make sure he ends up with the potential for good Mag stats. Okay, I finished Birthright and Conquest, and now I'm starting a playthrough of Revelations. I didn't get a lot of units married in my playthrough of Conquest, but in Birthright, Azura married Kaden. Shigure was pretty great, but Azura turned Selkie from tanky to trashy. I'm wondering which child wouldn't get completely ruined by Azura's terrible HP and Defense growths for this playthrough. Right now I'm thinking her and Hayato might work, but I'm really not sure, since Rhajat was a decent Res-Tank for me in Birthright.

Fire Emblem Fates Marriage Chart SPOILER WARNING!! SPOILERS ARE IN SPOILER TAGS! (I seriously hope this was not made yet... I searched without results.. rip my time spending to create this if it was) Greatly inspired by the marriage chart that was floating around the internet back in the Awakening days I decided to build on that and create my own Fates version of it. Today I'd like to present version 1.1 to the Serenesforest forum ! It is still very much a Work-In-Progress, mainly so because whilst I tried to use the English character names by checking the fireemblem wikia list of characters, there are undoubtedly going to be changes when the game FINALLY comes to the west. How to use the chart If you're familiar with the FE:Awakening chart then this should all be pretty straightforward, but lets not make assumptions. Attached below is both a pre-filled chart for those who just quickly want that as well as a zipped package that has a photoshop (.psd) file in which you can easily drag, drop, rename, and everything else for photoshop on the chart. Lastly the zip also includes all the separate icons I used for the characters. Suggestions and all that Like I said before, this is still a work in progress and is therefore subject to change every so often. However, I cannot make those changes unless either I spot them myself or you guys point me towards any. That said, please do not hesitate to correct me when required. Update log v1.0 - Initial post v1.1 - No idea why I didn't just match child with father from the getgo. Updated the attachment and the image below for that. Unmatched is also still included (not as psd due to file size limits) v2.0 - YAY for American Release of the game! Finalized the names of the characters as well as added Fuga to Hoshido. I thought we could take a brake worrying and speculating about exactly how children will work and have a positive thread. I know we don't know a lot about units, but I'm sure many people here have thought "if marriage is in this game I'm definitely marrying my avatar to this character!" For me. of the revealed characters: Hoshido as a Male avatar: Kazahana. Been my favorite female unit since I first saw her and if by any chance personal skills can be passed down, hers is a good one Hoshido as female avatar: Silas. None of the revealed males appeal to me on this route, plus I like Silas design and hair color. Nohr as male avatar: Felicia. Even though I think I'll love Pieri, not sure I want to spread on her bi-polar genes. So give me the clumsy, battle ready, moe maid. Belka's also an option with her having a good personal skill. Nohr as female avatar: Odin. Owain's one of my favorite FE units ever so this was an easy decision.... -

(I don't think this goes in the pinned marriage topic; that's about the mechanics and timbres of the romances, as best as I can tell.) I'll confess that in my case, with my limited knowledge of the characters, I used random.org to allocate (might as well, if you have any intention of filling up the whole support file...). This is being done with the Birthright scenario (I can't say I'm looking forward to charting out the Revelation scenario...The list randomizer just won't work with that, and I'm not necessarily planning a full swath of cross-border romances.) and a female Corrin. 1. Jakob*Felicia 2. Kaze*Mozu 3. Silas*Hinoka 4. Ryoma*Corrin 5. Takumi*Orochi 6. Tsubaki*Hana (Tsubaki is pretty much my only unwillingness to use the localized names) 7. Saizo*Oboro 8. Hinata*Azura 9. Hayato*Rinkah (I'm not sure why I have no problem with Rinkah when I shrink from "Subaki"; must be the identical pronunciation.) 10. Azama*Sakura 11. Kaden*Setsuna Not marrying within the coterie: Kagero Now...let's see what everyone else is planning. (Maybe this way I can tell which pairings have the best timbres with minimal spoiling...)

This is my first time posting in SerenesForest, so I'm new to this posting thing (so I hope this is okay), but I've made a spreadsheet that can help you organize, as the title says, Marriage and Buddy Seal (partners) for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 characters in Fire Emblem if/Fates (even though it might be a little too late since it's already coming out in less than two weeks, haha). I tried doing some visual stuff to make the spreadsheet easier to read/make the information easier to understand at a glance, but since I'm not very much on the coding/programming/formula-writing/etc. side, my formulas are a little clumsy/ugly/really bulky/slow, but I promise you that they should work. Before using it, I recommend that you make a copy of it for your own personal use so that--on the off-chance more than one person uses this--your pairings won't get messed up. If there are any mistakes/errors/problems/etc., please tell me, and I will fix them as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions/comments/etc., I would also be glad to address them. Hello all, I am trying to plan what order I will be using seals in for my first playthrough and would like to know if anyone knows what chapters we acquire our first seal, (any of them). Also, In your opinion, is it going to be better to use a buddy seal before or after we have promoted? I suppose the case will change based on the characters involved but I'd love to hear some opinions. Cheers

Hello all, I am trying to decide what class I want to choose as my secondary for my Nohr playthrough but I need clarification on how buddy seals work when Kamui uses them. My plan is to pick Ninja for copy-cat so I can pass it down through inheritance. What I am wondering is what would happen if I used a buddy seal on Kaze. His secondary class is Samurai so would I get samurai or nothing? I want to be a Weapon master but I want to pass down ninja. Also, If Kamui marries Azura, does Kanna get ninja, dark prince and peg knight and would Shigure get the same? Anyone know?

Hey guys, I was just asking myself: is Luna a good mom? who should she be with? that 25% skill doesn't help although her class set is fairly good... I was planning to marry her to Marx (for him to go Hero-->Sol) but Charlotte also offers this possibility, plus better growths for Siegbert and the speed bonus for Marx.

Is there a list somewhere of all the possible marriages in Fates by Hoshido, Nohr, and Revelation? I know some of the S-supports are outlined in the Wikia, but are they accurate? Are there any characters that are like Sumia where she can only S-support a few people for some reason? Or characters like Anna that can only marry the Avatar? If anyone has a list or a link to a list that would be great! (Or if you can confirm the validity of the Wikia)

Okay, I'm really torn on this, I don't know who to marry to Cordelia, either Gaius or Lon'qu Also whoever does not marry Cordelia will probably marry Tharja Plus - I'm looking at this from a competitive standpoint and support conversations and hair colors. But, you tell me what I should do!

Just a fun idea I thought about while looking through various topics. People dislike that anyone can marry everyone and that you can make couples that seem completely incompatible with each other( subject to opinion), so why not list down your ideas for what you think the marriage options of characters should be. No specific criteria, just what you think they should be. Firstly, I don't actually own the game. I am planning marriages and children ahead of time so that I'm ready for Invisible Kingdom, the campaign in which I will be taking the couples and children seriously. I am planning on marrying Charlotte with Flannel, however Flannel's secondary Class is that of a Fighter, Charlotte's primary class. What class will she inherit? I think that I read somewhere that if this happens the character acquires the complementary class from the other nation (Nohr <--> Hoshido), so in this case, Oni Savage. However, I am unsure how true the previous statement is. I'm unsure on what this means for her, so I just thought that I would ask to clear the air.

Awakening was my first FE game and during my first playthrough of it, I was having a great time. I spent a while training up Lon'qu and Maribelle at the same time using Reeking Boxes, as I wanted them to marry, because I thought they looked cute togethor. When I finished, I got them to an A rank. Being happy with this, I finished grinding and decided to start Chapter 11. THe chapter was pretty hard, but I finished it eventually. At the end, I noticed a cutscene had started with Chrom and Maribelle. "I wonder what this is about?" I thought to myself, and as I watched the cutscene, all the colour drained from my face. Chrom had proposed to Maribelle, and she accepted. Not only did all my work go to waste with a now Forever Alone Lon'qu, (I would later marry him to Tharja) I also recieved a paper defences Lucina that would die if you slightly brushed against her. -
Please limit your choices to 3 PER QUESTION To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed that same-sex options are only available for Zero and Shara... [i want Nishiki x Flannel]

What hair colors do the mothers pass down to their children? I'm specifically looking for info on Pieri and Rinkah (is that her headress or hair? what?), but confirmations on all of them (especially the 2-tone ones like Kagerou and Hinoka) would be nice.

I'm just curious which "special" marriage is your favourite, if you have one. These marriages are restricted to only the Avatar (depending on gender) and some are only recruited in DLCs or Spotpass. The polls are multiple choice, so feel free to vote as much as you'd like. (If I'm forgetting anyone, feel free to tell me and I'll add them asap.) For Female Avatar, I'm quite fond of Priam (even if he can't get Aether, it's cool) and Gangrel. For Male Avatar, I'm less picky and like all of the marriage options (but I'm really attached to Tiki).

Hey, guys. I'd like to talk to you about a dilemma I am in. Firstly, for this story to make sense you have to know that I live with my mother and stepfather, and my father lives elsewhere. In March, my Dad spoke to me out of the blue to tell me he was going to get married to his fiance of several years, who I am quite close to. I hadn't spoken to him person for almost two years, so it was nice to see him again. Over the weeks and months I visited him with my younger brother quite regularly. He used his phone a lot, and kept it with him all the time. I looked over his shoulder one time, and noticed he was messaging a woman from his workplace- he is a care-worker that works very long shifts. I noticed that he had messaged her saying she 'missed him' and was 'looking forward to work.' This didn't seem too bad, but it seemed strange. This continued for a few months- seeing the messages and him acting strangely. One day I stayed over because of a party that we had gone to together- his wife's mother's birthday party. I had the oppurtunity to look at his phone without him knowing, so I did. I went on his 'whatsapp' messager app and found the messages from her. They was definitely something going on- some of the messages were sexual, and there were pictures- nothing sexual thankfully. I took a photo of some of the more offensive messages. After this event I only met with him twice more, and now I have been trying to cut him off a bit. I feel sick having this information- my step-mother is a good, kind person who treats me like a proper member of her family. What should I do with this information? Also, any of you guys been in a similar situation with unfaithful parents? Thanks.
