  1. So, I just started painstakingly recording all of the rewards I get for feeding these animals: Spreadsheet here As you can see, this would take forever to fill out with enough info to be statistically significant. My progress alone will be incredibly slow. If you want to help, feel free to make your own copy of my "Template" sheet for your own records. Then, link it here so that I can copy it from time to time. I'd be grateful. If the way this system works is known, I would very much appreciate an explanation or a link to one. Even if it's just a theory.
  2. **[uPDATE AS OF 3/6/16: Added max stat caps based on classes, and weighted growth rates!!]** Hello! This is my first time posting in SerenesForest, so I'm new to this posting thing (so I hope this is okay), but I've made a spreadsheet that can help you organize, as the title says, Marriage and Buddy Seal (partners) for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 characters in Fire Emblem if/Fates (even though it might be a little too late since it's already coming out in less than two weeks, haha). I tried doing some visual stuff to make the spreadsheet easier to read/make the information easier to understand at a glance, but since I'm not very much on the coding/programming/formula-writing/etc. side, my formulas are a little clumsy/ugly/really bulky/slow, but I promise you that they should work. Before using it, I recommend that you make a copy of it for your own personal use so that--on the off-chance more than one person uses this--your pairings won't get messed up. If there are any mistakes/errors/problems/etc., please tell me, and I will fix them as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions/comments/etc., I would also be glad to address them. Thank you very much for your time, and I hope this spreadsheet helps you, even if it's just a little. **Note: This spreadsheet works for ALL paths.** Version using the Japanese names (in English): Here Revelations version using the localized American names: Here Localized Hoshido-only version: Here Localized Nohr-only version: Here What you can do with it: - Customize Kamui/Corrin based on the asset/flaw/secondary class you choose. - View overall stat bonuses for children based on the marriage pairings of Gen 1 characters. - View marriage/buddy pairings and class inheritances for the Gen 1 characters. - Organize your class/skill inheritances for Gen 2 characters. - View marriage/buddy pairings and class inheritance for the Gen 2 characters. - View growth rates for Gen 2 characters based on marriage pairings of Gen 1 characters. - View stat caps based on classes for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 characters. - View weighted growth rates for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 characters.
  3. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApPT0N9WtHcKdDNpTW1STTZCQXNFMF9lVFdlZ2hnSWc#gid=0 (Note: To avoid people messing up the sheet itself it's read only. Just save a copy into your google docs (if you don't have one, you'd need to make one, or just admire the sheet I guess). The basic idea is, you enter a weighting for each stat (how valuable you think they are) and the sheet gives you an adjusted growth valuation, and in particular ranks the characters on how good their growths are for that particular weighting. The most important columns are X and Y. These basically tell you roughly how good that character's growths are for a given weighting. The sheet currently has example data of what I think most people would consider a fairly standard weighting: Str/Mag (stronger stat), Spd, Def * 30 Res * 20 HP, SKL * 15 Str/Mag (weaker stat), Luk * 10 So a character's speed growth is considered three times as important as their luck growth, for example. With that weighting, you can see that characters like Kellam, Basilio, Cordelia and Vaike do better than their growth total suggests, while characters like Henry, Chrom, Anna and Maribelle are worse. And this is why Anna (ranked 6 unweighted, ranked 20 weighted) never really gets mentioned for her 'fantastic' growths, while Panne (ranked 5 unweighted, ranked 4 weighted) is. Because Panne's growths are good where this weighting cares, while Annas are good where this weighting doesn't. Anyway I don't expect this to be of huge use to many people, it's more of a novelty, but I use things like this occasionally when talking about character growths, and others might too. But I made it and I'll be using it, and on the off chance it's of use to others, might as well make it available, right? I'm thinking of adding classes in, but that's a little bit of work. (Note: This post refers to the original version of the sheet. The link now links to an updated version.
