Didn't like any of the E4 members of this region too much, though I do like Cynthia. Unova: Grimsley is pretty badass. I also like Caitlin. Kalos: SIEBOLD. SO BRO. Champions: Lance and Steven definitely. And as I've said before, I like Cynthia. Iris is okay, too. What about you guys?

Oh, how I missed you, drafting subforum. ;n; Drafting: 1. This draft is for 5 players. 2. Hector, Marcus, Merlinus, Ninian/Nils, and Athos are free for all to use. 3. Bartre and Karla are drafted as a pair. 4. Geitz and Wallace will remain undrafted. 5. Marcus is banned after Chapter 16. 6. The game will be played on Hector Normal Mode, skipping Lyn Mode. 7. The drafting process will go in SOYO style. Rules: 1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, rescue undrafted units and NPCs, trade, visit Shops and Armories, and dig up items in the desert. 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to meatshielding, building Supports, opening Doors or Chests, talking to Fargus in Chapter 17x, or Seizing Castles in Chapter 25. 3. All Gaiden Chapters except 19xx, 23x and 28x are required to be visited. 23x and 28x may be visited at the player's discretion, and don't count towards the total turncount up to 20 turns taken per chapter. 4. Other units may do as they please without penalty. 5. Defend chapters count the last played Player Phase for turns if the timer is waited out. Penalties: 1. Undrafted units have a 4 turn penalty, per unit per chapter. Exceptions: 1. Matthew is free for Chapter 11. 2. Meatshielding is allowed for Chapter 13x. 3. Lyn, Kent, Sain and Wil are free for Chapter 16. 4. Undrafted Thieves may be used to obtain necessary Promotion items. FE13 Pairings Rating Thread - Day 1: Frederick/Lissa

I thought this would be a pretty good idea. I've had this idea for a while. The goal here is to see if we can rate every 1st gen pairing (not counting the Avatar), which would help out people and maybe give new ideas on who to use. Here are the rules: 1. Assume Hard Mode. 2. Assume postgame content is going to be delved into. 3. No bias points. This isn't some RTU thing. At least I hope it won't be. 4. One pairing per day. 5. Rating scale is from 0 to 10. 6. Please no fighting. I don't want any 'THIS IS MAH OTP' crap. I'm really interested to see how this thread will go, and who knows, it could be an official thing. FE9 definitely has my vote. The Beorc vs. Laguz deal that played a huge part in the game was well executed, and I always liked how even minor characters have different reactions to both races (the one lady in the village in Chapter 11 would react negatively to a laguz, but not a beorc for example). Not only that, but the battle conversations were pretty great. The fact that every one of the GMs has a battle conversation with Shinon in Chapter 18 is very interesting. And the supports were some of the best in the series, too.

Hey SF. I'm considering doing a redux of a previous run I did a playthrough of, which was this thread: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=31360. The run itself, I feel, is pretty sloppy, and from doing other challenge runs (FE6 HM being a huge success.), I feel like giving this game another shot. Though this time around, I'll cover BOTH routes instead of just Ephraim's.

I was just cruising along playing EHM (with my insanely blessed ChipasDorcas and Uber Spear!Fiora), and I've noticed something odd: Now this may have been posted before, but since I don't do EHM often, and this is the first time I'm doing Jerme's map in that mode, too, I'm pretty surprised.

I love The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Hell, it's my favorite game of all time and that'll never change. And I know this is kind of a selfish wish, but I seriously was hoping for Nintendo to add in the three missing dungeons they scrapped from the final release of the original game and added them to the remake. I'm sure the additions would perhaps decrease the tediousness of the Triforce Quest (though I loved the quest, actually, since it gave me so much to do), and more dungeons in Zelda games is always better. Hero Mode is nifty, and all, but I wanted my dungeons, dammit.

On this day, Seima no Kouseki (The Sacred Stones or FE8 as us Westerners call it) came out in Japan in 2004. Such an amazing game, and one of my favorite FEs, definitely. Thanks for the awesome entry into the series, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems! And happy birthday, Noire!
