  1. I'll like to take the time to compare the old artwork from the 90s and put it alongside with the newly released artwork. Since the moment of this post's conception (day of the announcement), I'll post all of the artwork released so far and will post the other pieces when they become available (or in a new post if this one dies). If I missed any, feel free to add more characters! Alm Celica Boey Savor Berkut (Localized name pending) (Reference) EDIT: Clive's old and new artwork is on Page 2 of this thread. Gray, Tobin, Kliff, Faye, Lukas, Silque, Mae, Genny, Valbar, Leon, and Kamui on page 3. Clair, Luthier, Delthea, Palla, Catria, Est, Rudolf, and Linea on page 6. Python, Zeke, Sonya, Conrad, Juda, and Mila on page 6. So what do you think about the new designs/art style? Are there any characters you wish they will reveal next? What's your favorite?
  2. Hai! So, I thought up this article in the shower. Fates has been out for about a year now, so I presume everyone has been able to play it. I loved the game, and it's characters. I played through the game so many times, and have gotten to know it's characters quite well. However, there were characters I adored, like Keaton, Laslow, or Selena. Along with that, there were characters I did not enjoy as much. And so, I thought I would share my thoughts on who the worst of the worst was. Please feel free to join and tell me your worst. I thought I would seperate the judging into two categories. Portrayal, and Unit. Feel free to judge your least favorite character on one or both of the categories. By Portrayal, I mean how they appear in the story, supports, and overall role they play in the game. For Unit, I mean how they are as that. A soldier. Please do not turn this into a flame war. I only mean to share opinions. And so, I shall throw in my two cents. My Worst Character Award Goes Too... CAMILLA! Yep. That's my opinion. If I may explain before I am run through: Portrayal This is where my hate for Camilla stems. From the start, she is shown in cutscenes and the story terribly. In all cutscenes, she is never seen with her axe. Or her wyvern. Think about all the other cutscenes: Everybody has their weapons. Sakura even has her rod, along with Elise! Now, yes. Sakura or Elise does not have their weapons in their positive cutscenes. Nobody does. But everyone else has their weapon in a standoff or fight. Camilla's cutscenes are bad from the start. In the circle around Garon, she just waves her hands around and flips her hair. In Choose Your Side, she has no weapon. She is just shocked. In the third, it's just blatant fanservice. None of her cutscenes have an axe, wyvern, or use of magic. My next reason if her supports and role in the story. First, the story. She does next to nothing. She doesn't have many twists, other than defecting in Revelation. No other shocks, or major roles. She acts as only a support unit to Kamui, and acts as a foil to Hinoka. To be honest, I found the chapter in which I fought her in Birthright to be rather bland. The chapter wasn't bad, but the fight was forgettable. Hinoka was a helicopter. Sakura pleads not to fight. Ryoma and Takumi act serious, Leo almost kills you, and let's just not talk about Xander. Camilla, wants to hug you. Yep. That's it. Almost all of her supports are bland, and are almost centered about Kamui. However, I admit. There are some gems, like Benny and Ryoma, or Takumi. Other than that, she is boring and repetitive Unit Don't get me wrong: She's a fine unit. Quite good really. But with the characters I like to use, the doesn't fit in. I prefer units with growths similar to Ninjas or Adventurers. Camilla doesn't have any horrible growths, but she has what I call "Leo Syndrome." Her stats are in that slot where nothing stand out except her Strength. Everything else falls into a category that it's not bad, but not great. Not enough to prominently show through in her levels. So, she's not bad, but I prefer others. Now! Discuss among yourselves! Who is YOUR worst unit in Fates hmm?
  3. So, Smash has a lot of Fire Emblem reps now, but who is really the best one? It doesn't matter what your reasoning is for your pick or which games you take into account. Just pick one and we can settle the matter once and for all!
  4. So yea, Personal skills, what if Awakening also had those? The main goal of this thread is to find the perfect (or not so perfect) personal skill for each of the Awakening. Example Name of the character Name of the personal skill: Description of the skill (What it does in battle) You can add a quick explanation of what gave you this idea (if you want) I'll start with Robin Robin Tactical advice: If this unit supports another one, the other unit deals + 1 dmg and gets + 25 hit Pretty straightforward, Robin is a tactician, he/she should gives advice to his/her ally You can also post jokes/fake personal skills, you can even give personal skill to someone like Grima. Feel free to also post a personal skill to a unit even if someone already did on the same character.
  5. This isn't a Skill Request Thread. If you are looking for specific skills, go to one of the Skill Request Threads like this one: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=61825&hl= Post here any skill combinations/skill sets that you (or someone you know) thought of. Write for what character is the skill set, for what class, if you do have/use the skill set, and how to use the character. Try to avoid including hacked skills. The children can have any non-enemy-exclusive skills because they can inherit any skills their parents have, and you can save the character with their skills if you defeat Anankos. If you come up with a better combination of skills quote your original previous post and write what you would change. Don't be afraid of commenting about a skill set; constructive criticism is always good (just write a real explanation of why you would like for it to be different). If you did not make the skill set by yourself, please, remember to give credit to the original creator. WARNING: THIS THREAD WILL CONTAIN OPINIONS. NOT EVERYTHING WRITTEN HERE IS A FACT, SO DO NOT START SAYING WHAT IS STATISTICALLY THE BEST SET OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. BE RESPECTFUL. These are the skill sets I have come up with: 1) Charlotte as a Berserker (A Berserker's Axe can help with this set if used right, but Killer Axe is practically a necessity): Vantage, Death Blow, Strength +2, Axefaire, and Swordbreaker. This set is used by getting Charlotte to 50% HP and then hoping she gets crits, so she will need as much skill and luck as possible (I expect that max strength is a given). This set is not recommended for attacking other castles because of the effects of the building in castle battles makes it VERY hard to crit. I have Death Blow, Axefaire, and Vantage. 2) Veloria as a Wolfssegner (Beastrune will be the most efficient weapon for this set): Beastbane, Trample, Certain Blow, Poison Stike, and Grisly Wound. This set is a physical tank killer; use Poison Strike and Grisly Wound to deal damage after every battle to the tanks. Trample and Beastbane are for dealing extra damage to most units (everyone by mounted dragon units). Certain Hit is just to not miss. I am still looking for ways to make this set a little better, but no such luck right now. I have everything here except for Poison Strike. 3) Benny as a General or Great Knight (if you don't want/can't use Boots on Benny): Defence +2, HP +5, Wary Fighter, Lancefaire, and Heartseeker. This set is based around the idea that Benny will hit practically anything it battles thanks to Heartseeker + Fierce Mien (Benny's personal skill). Also, Def and HP are what keeps Generals alive (alongside Wary Fighter), so why not some more of that. Lancefaire is totally replaceable for any other skill you would like. I have everything here except for Heartseeker. 4) Shiro as a Spearmaster (I want him to be a Spearmaster to have a higher Skill-Cap and also a passive crit bonus): Hoshidan Unity, Astra, Rend Heaven, Quixotic, and either Luna. This set is just to attack and hope he procs one of his skills, so don't use any lances that block him from using his skills (Peri's Lance > Javelin and no Bronze/Brass Weapons). Any aggressive trigger skills can be put here in place of Luna, Rend Heaven and Astra (e.g.: Vengeance and Aether). I suggest not giving Shiro a Bolt Naginata either for the same reason for the Javelin. I have the whole set. Everything edited is in bold.
  6. Yes you did indeed read the title of this topic correctly, I have never played a Fire Emblem game. I've wanted to play one for a while now and so I asked one of my friends whcih game I should start with. He originally replied with FE7, but then changed his decision to FE8 which is what I'll be playing through. I must start off with saying that I do know most of the basic things about Fire Emblem like the weapon triangle, which stats do what, and that I should "Share the experience" as my friend calls it. Any questions I ask about the story are completely my own thoughts and I do not want answers to them. Any tips or suggestions on how to play the game or which characters I should use would be greatly appreciated. I will be playing Fire Emblem Sacred Stones on Normal difficulty. I'm not sure if this usual Fire Emblem stats, but holy crud look at those stats! (I probably sound like the biggest noob ever) Despite Seth having good stats I used Eirika the entire Prologue Map and I managed to KO everyone with her. She got a critical on the very first boss and destroyed him immediately. This seems like a good level up to me. Hopefully I'm not wrong. And this was my entire Fire Emblem Sacred Stones Prologue Chapter in a nutshell. I don't have much to say on the story since it currently seems pretty generic, but my friend has told me it gets better, so I shall listen. Thank you for reading and hopefully I don't get everyone horribly dead and maimed.
  7. Basically, the title. I wanted to bring some positive topics to counteract all the negativity (including my own). So, what characters did you hate/dislike/not care about but started to like during your playthroughs of the game? Mine are the following: Peri - At first, I thought she was a typical yandere stereotype, which would make her a repeat of Camilla and a second Tharja done worse. But then, I found out about her admittedly hilarious psycho personality with many surprising hidden depths, like her love for cooking or the reason why she is so psycho in the first place. Also, her personal skill combined with Galeforce can make her really dangerous, which I like. The only thing holding her back as a unit is a low skill growth, which can get tricky in many situations, but I still would use her over Xander any day. Nyx - At first, I didn't really care about her, I honestly didn't even consciously know she existed until I got to her recruitment chapter. As I unlocked supports with her, she immediately grew into one of, if not my absolute favourite female character on the Nohr side, because I can very well identify with her willingness to be a social recluse. And she's also a very deep and well written character, like Peri. And I really love her confession. Oh my god, my heart melts every time! Sadly, as a unit, she's not that great, unless you hack Aptitude on her or dump every Secret Book and Dragon Shield you get on her or you get lucky with her growths. Unpopular opinion alert: I really like her voice as well. Hisame - At first, I thought he'd be a 'Sasuke' archetype, an arrogant idiot who thinks he's better than everyone else (like a certain Royal archer). But then I recruited him, unlocked some supports and was surprised at how he actually turned out to be a really nice guy with a hilarious obsession with pickles. Bonus points for Peri!Hisame or Selena!Hisame being the best candidate for a Weapon Master. HisamexVelouria 4 lyfe! Siegbert - He was a mixed bag at first, since I immediately put him in the arrogant prince department, but it turns out that is actually not the case. I like Siegbert for being humble and not bragging about his royal status. The only flaw he has is that he feels inferior to Xander of all people. Trust me, Sieg, you really aren't. Nobody is. I really enjoyed his support chain with Caeldori, although as a unit, he sadly falls behind Sophie a bit. Which brings us to... Sophie - Design-wise, she is nothing special, so I assumed her personality wouldn't be anything special either. Then you have her admittedly bland father and it doesn't get much better for her. But then I got to her paralogue and she immediadetly flipped from bland to the cutest thing ever. I like her cheery attitude and her clumsiness adds to her charm. Bonus points for having a hilarious sidekick in the form of Avel. Her supports range from funny to heartwarming, which I really like. Unit-wise, she can be the best Paladin in the game, given the right mother (Hinoka or Oboro) and friend/husband. Bonus points for having a hilarious personal skill as well. Oboro - While I'm still not fond of her looks, which are really weird, to be honest, I liked her personality from the very start. I am admittedly still a bit lukewarm on her, but she started to grow on me. Only negative point I can find about her is a Cordelia-ish crush on my most hated character. Why crush on that asshole? You deserve better! Unit-wise, she is amazing. A very good tank and if you give her an A+ support with Rinkah, she wrecks house with Death Blow and a Killer Lance. Give her Counter from that very same support and Aegis from an S-support with Silas and every enemy will think twice about even touching her. I don't really know who the better Spearmaster is between her and Shiro, but I honestly think Oboro is better, if only because she fits the hole Nephenee left in the FE-universe better than Shiro can (especially if Shiro doesn't have a mother that boosts his Defence.) Bonus points for having a very cute voice in the English version. Yes, I care about such things. So sue me. Benny - My first impression of him was a solid 'meh'. Like Nyx, I didn't even consciously register his existence until I got to his recruitment chapter. He started to grow on me as a character for his 'Gentle Giant'-esque nature. I like characters like him. I really do. Unit-wise, he has to compete with Effie, who is definetly the stronger of the two, but as a pure tank, I'd give the crown to Benny. His Defence is ridiculous. So ridiculous in fact, that Conquest's final boss can't even touch him. The only thing crippling him is his abysmal speed, which is negated by the fact that Wary Fighter exists. It DOES make him harder to train up, though, if you grind skills, since he absolutely cannot double the yellow Faceless on Boo Camp, similar to Orochi, in fact. BennyxOboro is a pairing I really like. Team Scary Face ftw! That's every character I can think of at the moment. What are yours? Discuss away! As a side note: I noticed that I am ridiculing Xander the Spineless and Takumi the Unlikable every chance I get. I think I have never ever loathed characters in a video game so much and so openly. That in itself is an impressive feat and speaks for the quality of Fates' characters. If that was the intention of the writers of those two characters, then well done. And I did it again.
  8. #1 Bayonetta (This post) #2 Bowser #3 Bowser Jr #4 Captain Falcon #5 Charizard #6 Cloud #7 Corrin #8 Diddy Kong #9 DK #10 Duck Hunt #11 Falco #12 Fox #13 Ganondorf #14 Greninja #15 Ike #16 Jigglypuff #17 King Dedede #18 Kirby #19 Link #20 Little Mac #21 Lucario #22 Lucas #23 Luigi #24 Mario & Doc #25 Marth & Lucina #26 Megaman #27 Metaknight #28 Mewtwo #29 Game&Watch #30 Ness #31 Olimar #32 Pac-Man #33 Palutena #34 Peach #35 Pikachu Instead of votes, we'll go in alphabetical order, and the discussion will only be 1 or 2 days for each, 1.1.6 is the current patch so I hope you're all updated for this. Which leads us off with Bayonetta Kurogane hasn't updated her data so go off this change list http://smashboards.com/threads/1-1-6-patch-notes-patch-discussion-read-the-first-post-before-replying.436806/ http://kuroganehammer.com/Smash4/Bayonetta for her general info (Image Borrowed from Kurogane Hammer) for a quick visual Bayonetta, the source of much infamy since her debut, having many aerial combos at launch, which could 0-death a significant chunk of the cast if they weren't careful, with several safe lead ins and decent range with her kicks, she was a force to be reckoned with by that alone, add in the dreaded witch time and the fact she has two spikes, and you're in some danger. She has fairly good damage capabilities as well. As of 1.1.6 however she's received several nerfs, Including her hitboxes on several moves, her combo capabilities in general, which make her look rather lackluster currently as opposed to the supposed top tier threat she posed before hand. Now she has a fairly lacking neutral game, due to now having to rely on some of her slower moves, and her safer moves now are harder to land overall. Whats everyone heres opinions on Bayo? Be it on a competitive or even casual standpoint?
  9. Hello once again Serene Forest users, its been awhile... So by chance of luck I won a local Gamestop raffle for a charity I put money too and got a $20 buck card and used it to buy Revelations Only problem is... Who to I pair up with who? Theres like, 39 people who produce 21 kids... So i started a list and heres how it goes of what im doing. Femui X Keaton A Combination of all royal siblings being married (excluding Azura) Ryoma X Camilla Xander X Hinoka Leo X Sakura Takumi X Elise Then everyoen else i decided with: Arthur X Effie Azama X Kagerou Benny X Oboro Hayato X Nyx Hinata X Peri Jakbo X Mozu Kaden X Rinkah Laslow X Hana Niles X Setsuna Odin X Orochi Saizo X Beruka Subaki X Selena Silas X Felicia Kaze X Azura I think some of these pairings are good and some are bad Blue Means its a pair i think is acutally good everythign else im unsure of... so im reaching out to all of you to give me good advice. Well, thanks to anyone who does help me out and have a great weekend!
  10. I'm making a simple personal hack with unit replacements, but after going (specifically) past 51 allies, I'm noticing that resetting VBA and then restarting the chapter that I'm on causes the game to cut all allies that are "past" that 51 character limit. Is there a way to combat this and keep every character? I'm not good at modding and really would like to keep this simple if possible. Thank you all in advance!
  11. I want to play this game again and I thought it would be fun if I just had the people on this forum decide which units I use. I'm either doing Eliwood normal or Eliwood hard for this run, the possibility of Eliwood normal is just because this is an experimental run and I've never done anything like it before. It probably will depend on what characters I get and when they join. I have set multiple choice to be enabled, but please only vote for three characters. 4 characters were not included, those being Eliwood, Geitz, Farina, and Karla. Eliwood is the main lord so I'm using him no matter what, Geitz is not in the poll because I can almost guarantee I will not get the Linus version of chapter 23. On the off chance that I do get that version, if Wallace is picked Geitz will be used in his place. Karla and Farina are not in the poll since they are only available in Hector's story. I may end up doing updates for this run on another thread, showing my progress and how my units are doing.
  12. I'm planning on making a FE8 inflation/plot replacement crossover hack and have Guinivere from FE6 be the Eirika replacement. I was wondering if I should make her use light magic and the Lilina/ Mage Knight animationsor or if I should make her a Trainee with a split flier promotion? In both cases she'll look kind of generic.
  13. When I first played Conquest and later played through Revelations, I found myself liking characters that I didn't really pay too much attention to originally. An example of this would be Shura. At first he seemed pretty.. meh to me, but I ended up liking his supports with Corrin, and the fact he is a very useful archer/healer right off the bat when you get him. Another would be Felicia. I didn't care for her at all but she kind of grew on me the more I played the game. Anyone else find a character that surprised you enough to be likable?
  14. Hello, I am completely new to FE and would like some advice. I have spent hours thinking of what would be the best team for hoshido (see image attached) to play this game on hard/classic mode. I am playing birthright so I have the chance to grind as this is my first game so I would like the option. After doing hours of research I have read that some characters/children are completely worthless which threw all my research out the window. I am looking for 4-6 attackers 1-2 defense characters and 2 magic users. I am about to loose my mind over this so any help will be appreciated. Thanks
  15. Is their anyone in fates you didn't think you would like as much as you now do? Mine were Niles, Shura, and Charlotte. I like all of their personalities and they are all pretty good with a few levels. What about you guys?
  16. So, pretty much everyone had characters that they thought they liked or thought they'd use, or knew which characters were good and which were bad, but actually playing the game is a completely different story. So, did any characters surprise you, either gameplay-wise or even just personality-wise? For me, it was definitely Benny. Pre-English release, I remember people going on about how Generals were bad and that Effie was so good that there was no reason to use Benoit ever, but the guy's an absolute beast. His defence is so overkill high that even after being Defence Sealed, he still only gets hit for sub-10 damage, and his pair up bonuses are godly to boot. I paired him up with Dread Fighter Selena and they legitimately solo half of maps while the rest of my army takes care of the rest. Special mention goes to Ophelia because I was kind of ambivalent about her until I heard her voice and the fact that she's so softspoken while trying to shout ridiculous things just won me over immediately.
  17. So with Fates coming out in about 19 days, we have yet to hear more of the characters' English voices. Some of them are great (especially Nishiki/Kaden, Ryoma, Camilla, and Leo's voices)! And then there are some cringe worthy ones like Effie and Felicia's execution of, "We got trouble!" For the ones we didn't hear yet in English, which voice actor do you think would be perfect for a character in the game? To me, I think Johnny Yong Bosch would be perfect for Shigure. Since JYB is the singer in his band Eyeshine, I can imagine him singing to "You are the ocean's gray waves," and it would come out beautifully. Plus his awesome voice can make Shigure much more fabulous just like Robin's seiyuu. There is one problem though: Is JYB a non-union voice actor? He's in pretty big roles like Lelouch from Code Geass, Izaya from Durarara!!, and Makoto from Free!. Then again, Laura Bailey did Lucina's voice, though she wasn't credited.
  18. Given what we know about the first batch of dlc for fates, what would YOU like to see in future dlc? I personally would like to see: 1). Apotheosis 2.0 -I never beat the first one, but I did like the challenge for what it is worth, and I would love to see what they do with the new mechanics. 2). Scramble map for the child units -Might be a good way to get some more development and dialogue for the child units. 3). Story/scramble map for the underdeveloped units (Kamuisexuals) - Getting more dialogue and characterization for the characters that seriously lack it would be nice. 4). A what-if scenario where Kamui/Corrin dies in the early game. Could have a set of maps for both Hoshido and Nohr. -Could be interesting. Kind of like future past.
  19. I was wondering between each of these characters which are the more popular. I am looking for people's opinions based on capability in battle, personality, and designs. Nephenee vs Aran vs Danved, Oscar vs Kieran vs Makalov vs Titania vs Astrid vs Fiona vs Geofferey vs Renning, Rolf vs Shinon vs Leonardo, Boyd vs Largo vs Nolan, Jill vs Haar, Marcia vs Tanith vs Sigrun vs Elincia, Lethe vs Lyre vs Ranulf, Mordecai vs Maurim vs Kyza, Janaff vs Ulki vs Volug, Soren vs Ilyana vs Tormod vs Calil vs Bastian vs Sanaki vs Pelleas, Rhys vs Laura vs Mist vs Micaiah vs Oliver, Mia vs Zihark vs Stefan vs Lucia vs Edward, Sothe vs Volke vs Heather, Reyson vs Rafiel vs Leanne, Gatrie vs Brom vs Tauroneo vs Meg, Vika vs Nealuchi Skrimir vs Giffca Naesala vs Caineghis vs Tibarn vs Nailah Ena vs Gareth vs Nasir vs Kurthnaga I'm not comparing Ike to anyone because 9/10 people will likely say Ike cuz lets face it, aside from Hector, he is the best lord stat wise, plus he was popular enough to make it into Smash Bros twice.
  20. So, after taking a long break from Awakening (since August 2015) I've decided to pick up the game again. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna play on Normal just to breeze through the game, or go through Hard as a warmup for the higher difficulties. Now comes the problem of pairing everyone and planning everything. I decided to have change some things up, like certain pairings and use some of my less used characters more. Don't have dlc. First of all, the Avatar. I plan on going with a MaMU with the name Camus. I am going to have him end up as a Paladin and marry Cordelia. I only know he will have Luna and Aegis. No plan on asset/flaw and other things. Also, does anyone know what hair color looks the most like FE11's Camus' hair color (or Sirius)? With Cordelia I'm probably have her finish as a Falcon Knight. Seeing how I'm not doing an optimal run, I thought about running Sol/Armsthrift/Galeforce/Lancefaire/Bowbreaker. Thoughts? I plan on having Severa and Morgan end up as Bowknight and Hero, not being set on who gets which class. They will inherit Galeforce and Luna. Ideas for other abilities? How I wish Bowknight was better, but I'll still use it. My biggest change will be pairing up Chrom with Sully. I rarely use Kjelle, even though I like her, and this will fix that issue. As mentioned earlier, I don't plan on having this run be optimal. I will keep Kjelle as a General, even though they suck, and have her inherit Aegis. Since I plan on having fun I might run something like Pavise/Aegis/Aether/Deliverer/Astra. I know Donnel gives her Galeforce, but I'm limiting my Galeforce use. For Lucina I thought about Aether/Rightful King/Aegis/Swordfaire. Not sure what her last skill would be. Thinking about Vantage/Lethality/Lancebreaker/Astra. For the remaining characters I'll go with pairings I like, and the parents of children I'm not interested in will be paired with who's left. Going to list my current pairings below. Open for changes, either because the children will suck or the pairing isn't that great. Lissa-Vaike (I want a blonde Swordmaster Owain) Tharja-Gaius (Nearly always go with this) Nowi-Kellam (Great support, tank Nah) Sumia-Stahl (I like this pairing, plus Stahl seems to work with a lot of children) Cherche-Gregor (Funny support) Olivia-Lon'qu (Great pairing) Brady, Yarne and Laurent I don't care about. Might go Miriel-Ricken so I get another magic user. I also thought Olivia-Frederick and then have Lissa-Lon'qu. Still debating on it. I'll worry about the children as the game progresses. Feel free to leave ideas for them though. That was a long post. Thanks for any help in advance though. In the meantime I'll try to figure out the optimal for my wannabe Camus MU.
  21. It's kinda in the name. 1.) What's the problem with said character that you would like to change, whether it be personality, or stats and skills or class, or even design wise. 2.) What would you want the character to be like or have for everyone to benefit from. E.g. Camilla isn't so motherly to Nohr when she's, basically, nice to mostly you, but if she was kinder and supportive to her whole army, it would be different as it would fit her description appropriately and result in neater writing. Nyx, apart from getting her a jumper, her stats are her main problem. Fix that Skill stat by increasing Growth, or something. It's really bad, defense I kinda get, but that's a little low, too. You simply add an opinion of what you would like to change about certain characters, so it's okay to say what you think of what character you'd like changed. As character personality and backstory is one thing to spoil, story-wise spoils must be kept spoiler tagged.
  22. Who are the characters you could care less about? For me it would have to be Felicia, she's an abysmal unit and is just annoying in general. Her voice and character annoy me as well.
  23. [ONGOING] I've seen lots of reference compilations for stuff like data and supports, but none for class refs. I've come across quite a few, so I figured why not. If a class is in Italics it is a unique model or pallete. I want to clarify that I DO NOT take credit for any of these pictures, I'm just compiling them into a single document for easy access. Now to see if I can figure out spoiler tags. Anna: Azura: Asama: Ashura: Belka: Benoit: Camilla: Charlotte: Crimson: Cyrus: Deere: Effie: Elise: Eponine: Felicia: Flannel: Flora: Foleo: Fuuga: Grey: Gunther: Harold: Hinata: Hinoka: Hisame: Ignis: Izana: Joker: Kagerou: Kamui: Feel free to post any refs that I dont have on this list so I can add it to the OP.
  24. Well I've gotten no replies to any of my questions and I know I'm probably behind on rom hacking as most people seemed to be doing so in 2010-11. I am trying to add FE-7 and 8 sprites/portraits, chapters, music in one. I've found so far the only way to add without replacing is adding in HXD so I wondered where free space is in sacred stones.gba. Starting at offset 00E47180 FF FF FF FF FF...... FF FF FF............ and above that 00 00 00..... 00 00 00........ appear in many places. Are all of those chunks free space to add characters and will this add to my nightmare character modules? Also, do you know any other offsets I am free to edit without ruining my rom? Blazer if you see this how did you put FE7 and FE8 characters in the same game as seen on youtube and is that rom available to download? Thanks, sorry I'm so nooby at this stuff.
  25. Hello :3 I am asking this question since Awakening was my first ever Fire Emblem game & it means a lot to me. So, please tell me your favorite character that is playable & explain why. :3 My favorite character is Chrom. He is one of the first characters you see & he is awesome. He supports you, & cares so much about you. I know a lot of people may not like him, but I love him. Every time, I marry him. (I have six files, & out of my three female files, I married him twice). Also, I am sorry not every character is here, I was only allowed 40 answers, so I picked the main characters & all the children. If you like other characters, you can still explain why, they just aren't in the poll. :3
