  1. I'm playing through Awakening and I'm just about to get Maribelle to level 20. I'm not sure whether I wan't to make her a mage then a sage, or If I should get her to be a war cleric (to get the renewal skill) then re-class to Valkyrie or if I should make her a Pegasus knight then dark flier for gale force, because Dark flier only has slightly less better magic than sages, but I would like it if she could still heal.
  2. I can't decide what I want to do with my female avatar, so I'd love to see what everyone else has done or is doing! What are the classes she has/she'll go through, the skills she has/she'll use, and what of her Asset and Flaw?
  3. My main character is a General, and has been for a while. I have always loved the tank builds/classes in RPGs, and so when I got tired of being a Great Knight, I decided to become a General. Almost everywhere I read, I see people griping about their movement and their weakness to magic, and I am here to clear some of this up. I am a level 20 General with all of my stats maxed-out. I started out with +DEF and -Luck. My equipped skills are: Sol (Never needed) Luna Locktouch Movement +1 Ignis Any enemy I run into almost always has a 0% chance of hitting me, and if they do hit me, I always take 0 damage. My move as a general is 8, which is equal to a Great Knight, all it took was the skill "Movement +1" and 1 "Boots" item. My max Resist is 37, I have never met a mage capable of inflicting any damage to me, at all. Their damage against me in a fight is always 0, with normally a 0-25% to hit. The only time I have taken damage as a General was against a Warrior Ruffian that was wielding a Hammer, and he hit me for 1 damage. So, to anyone who says Generals suck, please stop. Gernerals can be amazing, I am one. Stats: HP 80 Str 49 Mag 29 Skill 41 Spd 35 lck 44 Def 54 Res 37 Mov 8
  4. Before you begin reading, this is not a Fan Fiction in the sense of being a story. Rather, this is fan fiction about the world, its civilizations, and their inhabitants which may still include story segments to get the point across. This is where I will be putting pretty much all the stuff related to. . . well, TBQH, the rather rampant machinations of an active imagination. Oh, wow, that almost rhymes. In regards to what this topic will contain. . . I will definitely post information like this was an encyclopedia of sorts, filled mostly with my own thoughts by exploring territory not in game, such as how the world was during the times of the Dragons, long before humanity came. I'll be including not just original content, but also my thoughts on certain games and how they may have executed gameplay element X or done Y. Not everything pertains to Dragons and Monsters, such as weapon triangles. I may also post story snippets involving both actual and original characters, mostly if I'd like to help illustrate a concept or train of thought. I may also do it for the sake of a little humor - something I am not so sure I am good at - or to help "flex my writing muscle," as some people so affectionately call their brain. In regards to feedback, the feedback topic is currently open and already in use. Just please keep it civil and respect the difference between opinion and fact. Finally, I have a few posts reserved in case I need more space, either for information or to keep things organized. All things considered, It shouldn't really need a second post in the front page, but JUST in case, since I can go overboard at times, and this IS a catch-all topic. It helps anyone entering the topic to not have to go digging throughout the topic to find what they came for. Terms - Dragons and Manaketes Glossary of Facts - Dragons and Manaketes Terms - Weaponry Mechanics Items, Supplies, and Weapons Classes Reminder:This post is constantly expanding. Be sure to check it often. Currently, it has got a lot of holes thanks to time crunch and me attempting to rush this topic out already. I welcome discussion and questions. 5. Remember those monster classes back in sacred stones? (If you played it that is, sorry if you haven't). Those felt awesome the first time I saw them, and don't get me started on the upgrades, I mean, DEATHGOYLE, it doesn't get much better than that in my opinion. I feel as if they could have made a triumphant return in awakening, beyond the simple revenant and entombed variety, althouh the nod is appreciated. Instead of having a mercenary with a goofy risen mask, you could have had a big ol' skeleton warrior thing with a sword charging around with some great name, like bonewalker, or something. I don't know, I enjoyed sacred stones way to much, I like the idea at least. I am curious though, how would you fell if all the little risen were replaced by some good old fashioned wight creatures, if you like it, what would you replace some of the classes with for said creatures?
