  1. So far, both Marth and Celica have different titles: the Emblem of Beginning and the Echoing Emblem respectively, so it's apparent that every other Emblem will have a title based on their game in some way as well. There were some fun suggestions in the JP tweets thread, but I thought it may be fun to make this its own conversation. So, what do you think? UPDATE: Now that we know what half of the Emblems do, I thought it'd be time to give this thread an update to now also ask what you think they'll do and what weapons they may have. The ones we've seen so far are already plenty powerful after all and pay homage to their home titles: how do you think the rest will homage their past selves and origins? Also, do you think there'll be any duds in the batch? P.S. As of this update, we're still missing info on Corrin, Lyn and Byleth and know nothing at all about Leif, Roy, Eirika, Ike, Micaiah or Lucina.
  2. I'm a fan of Eirika X Seth, and Ephraim X Tana, because I just see them legit.
  3. This is a breakdown of Eirika's character and growth over the course of Fire Emblem 8. Much thanks to @Icelerate for co-writing this (he wrote the green parts) and @Yexin and @BergelomeuSantos for providing screenshots. This will cover the entirety of the story, followed by Eirika's Endings and Supports. Also, I got permission from @eclipse to split this up into multiple posts if I was having problems and SF gets really laggy when making long posts, so I hope you allow these consecutive ones! Edit: I can't edit the other posts so I've moved Act 3 to this one (alongside making changes to Chapters 14-16 and 21). There's also a poll! PART 1: ACT 1 PART 2: ACT 2 PART 3: ACT 3
  4. I'm actually interested on what would happen in FE8's story if Eirika isn't actually a kindhearted and naive person after all and is just a coldhearted sociopath. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that what if Eirika is the kind of person who: is smart and manipulates others by using methods such as pretending to be kind and naive. never actually cares about anybody and only sees others as tools. would leave someone to die just to save herself. never really cares if somebody died whether its an ally or not and would sometimes insult them for being "weak". I could add some more, but you get the idea. How would this kind of Eirika react to the events of Sacred Stones or what events would change as a result of her personality?
  5. Didn't see a topic yet so here we are~ Here's the clear though~ Featuring one of my favorite builds, the TANKLISE! Wasn't really an easy way to approach this map without getting blown back so with some stat stacking, we just decide to unleash HS!Elise's inner wall~
  6. I've been writing on and off for a while, but between a relatively recent replay of Echoes and a less-recent replaying of GotHW, I came up with a Crossover story centered around Sigurd surviving Belhalla in a modern AU where he finds himself barred from contacting anyone he ever knew. While I'll try to update it here first from here on, here's the first chapter of Little Chalphy (link leads to AO3, so warning if your Job/School forbids access to it). Any feedback is welcome here. While I've been translating documentation and whatnot for a long time, it was only up until a few years ago that I gained enough confidence to start writing fiction in English, so any daft bits you find that sound odd/goofy/out of place to you, do not hesitate to let me know. Good day to you all and thanks in advance.
  7. On Eirika's Trivia page on the FE Wiki, it states that Aias uses the feminine form of the word "tactician" when complimenting them at the end of Chapter 13 in the Italian version, which implies it's Eirika. Does anyone know where I can find a screenshot or script to verify this? Searching hasn't yielded any results (yet) and YouTube only has English LPs, so I wanted to ask SF for help since you guys are probably the most hardcore FE fans out there. Thank you in advance! * It's possible that any language version with gendered nouns will do, so if you have any version that isn't Japanese or English I'd be happy to hear from you!
  8. Stats: 38 hp, 31 atk, 39 spd, 27 def, 21 res hp superbane, def superboon Skills: Weapon: Storm Sieglinde Special: Moonbow A Slot: Atk/Spd Solo B Slot: Lunar Brace C Slot: Odd Def Wave Ol Reliable Galeforce Supreme Lunar Brace
  9. Work in progress. Eirika's weapon effect automatically gives her a nich as a Buff bot. Buff bot build: Anti mage: Debuffer: You can mix and match these 3 builds quite easily to fit the needs of your team. Once she gets a weapon refine, Hone ATK3 with +5 HP/+4 RES will greatly boost these builds. Boons/Banes choices: Special choices: Generic builds: She can run these builds but she is not the best at running them. She can combine these with the Debuffer build to gain more kills. Quad Galeforce: Wo Dao Wrath: Slayer: Armoursmasher: Firesweep drag back: Kadomatsu+ support:
  10. Eirika, Anamnesis Lady We now have a proper offensive red mage cavalry! Gleipnir is not as bat shit crazy as Ragnarok, but it does not depend on the user's HP for the effect to kick in, so it is generally more dependable. She pretty much comes pre built, so I personally would not invest too much into her besides giving her a Special, positioning Assist, and C slot skill. Level 40 stats: HP: 33/36/40 Atk: 28/31/34 Spd: 32/35/38 Def: 17/20/23 Res: 19/22/25 Total: 144~145 Default skills: Weapon: Gleipnir Assist: Rally Atk/Spd Special: [none] Passive A: Swift Sparrow 2 Passive B: Desperation 3 Passive C: R Tome Exp. 3 Gleipnir/Rauðrblade: Arena offense Keen Rauðrwolf: Arena offense Rauðrblade — Close Counter — Vantage: General Use
  11. Found this cool YouTube video some beginning ROM hacker made with Eirika and Lyon. Imo it seemed to portray his character quite well?
  12. Moving on, I suppose~ For me, I'd say I prefer shipping Eirika/Lyon, Tana or Innes and Ephraim/Tana or L'Arachel or Myrrh as a joke.
  13. Hey SF users, I want to speedrun fire emblem: sacred stones, but there's only a route for JP FE8 for ephraim's route (the WR by dxsteve is here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As5gE-aa7Ck ) There's currently no JP route for eirika's route, which is significantly different and is its own category, so I decided to start working on this. I've been collaborating with a few FE speedrunners (gwimpage and dxsteve primarily) for help, since I've never worked on a GBA FE seriously. Since this is a GBA FE, of course this entire run is RNG manipulated. Here's the WIP playlist of the route so far - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3pBMjeS6rYj58h2QO52hnhZxtjqjG1yZ The main idea is to train vanessa while abusing seth in earlygame, then promote her using the Ch8 elysian whip into wyvern knight (that shouldn't be new to LTCers lol). This costs a few minutes in earlygame but will hopefully pay off and make using her worth it over myrrh (she's used in the english route, currently for lategame). I'm starting on routing midgame through this week, where things will get more interesting (and awesome music too), but also a lot more slowly since they're less straightforward than earlygame. I sorta want to have a general route laid out first to get a better picture of what we need. After I finish this route, I'm definitely going to redo everything here with better optimizations and such (especially inventory) and repost those videos. If anyone has any feedback on the videos here, that would be great. There's plenty of experienced LTCers here, so it'd be great to get feedback and/or advice. Thanks! Current Progress: Finished up to Ch13. Oh man, Ch14 time... Ch8 Elysian Whip IGT vs Not getting the whip: I'm not sure if getting the Ch8 elysian whip is worth it or not, so I want to make direct comparisons between my route videos. These are the in-game time at the save shown at the end of each chapter, from Ch8-Ch15 which is where strats would significantly differ. The left times below is the route that gets the Ch8 whip, and the right time is with the route that forgoes the whip (and would promote Vanessa in Ch15 instead). I'm not really looking for second-by-second comparisons since obviously these times and strats can be improved to shave off seconds here and there, but I'm looking for general overall time saves between each route. Ch7 ends on 16:59 IGT Ch8: 22:55 vs 20:20 - Route 1 behind by ~2:35 Ch9: 28:22 vs 26:38 - Route 1 behind by ~1:44 Ch10: 30:03 vs 28:13 - Route 1 behind by ~1:50 (mistakes/inventory stuff, shouldn't matter aside from level-ups) Ch11: 35:34 vs 33:37 - Route 1 behind by ~1:57 (mistakes/inventory stuff, shouldn't matter aside from level-ups) Ch12: 42:11 vs 40:33 - Route 1 behind by ~1:38 TL;DR Route 1 loses significant time on Ch8, but saves a bit of time on Ch9 and Ch12. Need to see how Ch14 and Ch15 go... Current route: http://www.speedrun.com/run/9mepnr3y
  14. Does anyone know if the main Lord has some form of Provoke skill? I've set Eirika and Ephraim standing next to each other to fight off a horde of enemies in two instances, and in both, the enemies all attacked Eirika, with no regard to traditional AI quirks. And by 'traditional AI quirks', I mean 'once all the spots Eirika could be attacked from range were filled, all the Rangers equipped their swords and attacked Eirika in melee range, dying to her Rapier, when they could have shot arrows at Ephraim and avoided a counter'. Ephraim was so good at the start of the run, but his support with Eirika probably hurt him more than it helped- he couldn't get any kills because everyone ran right past him and attacked Eirika instead.
  15. Gotta stop with the new projects, but... I was in the mood for crackshipping. And Sci-fi. So you get... this. So yeah, this is a Romance/Sci-fi fic focused on Roy and Eirika.
