Does anyone know when there will be a playable English demo of fates? There was one for Awakening months before the game came out, it's already December and I'm kinda impatient...

I wanted to make a topic about the ost of Fates since it is coming out soon in Japan. Personally, I'm excited to hear more after getting a taste of Azura's song. When I saw Sumeragi being shot down by a barrage of arrows while hearing Azura's singing in the background I felt chills! One of my favorite things about Awakening is the music so I have high hopes. Also, can't wait to hear the recruitment theme, since every Fire Emblem goes for a certain feel. (My personal favorite is the one in Radiant Dawn)

I just got my Japanese 3DS and my Japanese copy of white kingdom. What can I expect from this game as opposed to awakening? I just hope I'm not too lost since I can't read much Japanese ^^´

Has anyone gone through making FeM!Morgan a Manakete? And if so what skills have you given her? And which Manakete mother passes on the best stats?

The Fire Emblem is my favorite video games series of all time (Megaman Battle Network being my second as you can no doubt tell from my profile picture :3)! As I get older, I have my moments when I reminisce on my earlier/first experiences with all the video games series I've enjoyed over the years. Fire Emblem is no different, and since it's my birthday (making me officially legal :3 ) I wanted to kinda honor, share, and hear about other people's experiences with this beautiful (and kinda crushing) series. Back around, I believe, 2007, my friend got me into using emulators (mainly GBA). I didn't really know about many games or game genres considering I had been playing 3D platformers for the past 4 or so years at the time on my playstation(which disappeared some time later) and my new Gamecube. Thankfully my best friend slowly introduced me to a few series here and there. However, they were mostly fighting or action games and I didn't really venture for different games on my own until...well... after Fire Emblem). One day, me and my friend were taking on the phone when he brought up Fire Embelm. When I asked about it, he didn't really know much other than it's a strategy game and if a unit dies, they are gone for good (and..well..the obvious Marth and Roy in Smash Bros Melee). As you could probably guess, I was pretty hesitant at first to try and play it. Thankfully, I was a pretty curious (and brave) kid so after a while I just said, "...alright...I'll give it a shot". THANK. YOU. GOD! And from that day, I really liked Fire Emblem. To be honest though, I wasn't that great and I screwed up...a lot. I didn't like the thought of my units dying for good so I would restart......with...save states. Ok, nothing against save state, but I save stated my way through the whole dang game (and when I say I save stated, I mean I save stated many times during 1 turn) and after beating the game and getting a little older, I felt a little dirty doing that. Actually, I did that a lot with the games I played on the GBA emulator. And like I said, after a while, I felt a little dirty doing that, so one day I decided to go through the whole game without save stating. Thus, the true experience of Fire Emblem began... The joy of getting good levels, the crushing pain of screwing at the end of a chapter and restarting at the beginning, the joy of having my unit clearing the chapters without much of a challenge because they are awesome, the joy and pain of seeing your unit gets a crit right when you needed it and right when it was the worst possible moment (Ex. your unit gets swarmed by enemies in a one way or door and just when the second to last enemy attacks them, protecting them from further attack and death, only for them to get a very out of nowhere crit, killing that enemy and letting another enemy come over just to spear them to death! ......Dang it Roy......), and much more.It also left a big impression on me(especially Lyn . She left a MAJOR impression on me as a kid and it made her my first coolest/B.A. female protagonist in video games. Actually, main protagonist in general) Although, I didn't feel all that to the fullest, really get into, and straight out loving the series until I got my hands on Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. When I finally got the game (after it taunted me for months at GameStop) , I feel in love with the series from that point on. I loved it so much, it kinda started to deep root it self into my love for strategy games as a whole. I probably wouldn't love games like Orge Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon (great game by the way, give it a shot) as much if not for Fire Emblem. I know that's a pretty bold statement (:3), but for me, it's pretty important. That's a lot on my part (and there's more if anyone else wants to hear about it), so I want to hear others peoples experiences. Whether it be long or short, I wanna know. I'm interested in what others may have experienced. So let loose! (Also, after slowly getting older and playing through the games games multiple times, you notice more things. Like for example, Hector is freakin' awesome or Luck betters your dodging skills or how usable a lot of the units are! While some are more obvious, you really notice and appreciate it later on. Know what I mean?)

So can somebody explain to me the usefulness of his first skill? I mean I get that it's there so that he can deal twice as much damage even when he class changed (due to the second skill), but it wouldn't it have been easier to just not have the first skill and have the second one simply break 2 orbs as long as he was class changed? Am I missing something? Am I misunderstanding something? Are there any special cards that take advantage of this? I'm just very confused... FE2 really does not get mentioned much in this board, which is very curious. So I'm wondering; what do people who've played it think? Personally, I love a lot of what it tries, because despite being ancient it was still extremely fresh to play through because of how unique it was and has still managed to be. It's fairly dated but its music and graphics honestly aren't terrible by any means imo (they grew on me), and the gameplay was still quite enjoyable. The two paths with Alm and Celica is one of my favourite dynamics of the game, and I wish they replicated this in Sacred Stones. Probably not my favourite FE, and definitely not my least favourite, but I still adore it.

Hello, Hello My name is Teamaster Twekczar and I am the Tea guy over in the general forum making recommendations on tea each day or at least trying too. Did you know that I also stream video games? I also am currently in the middle of streaming Tales of Vesperia for the PS3, In English. Yes I patched the game and decided to stream it for all the world to see. On friday right now I'm streaming my attempts to beat Genealogy of the Holy War. I just started streaming it recently and wow I didn't expect it to be that hard. It involves me scream crying my eyes out and I'm only just beat the first part of the chapter! Well that's about it for what I stream and play. Stop on by and you'll be entertained! Hopefully... hi everyone! first off I want to say that I'm a huge fire emblem fan but I'm kind of late to the series as my first was awakening and I've been backtracking since I just recently started looking for fire emblem related merchandise, I'm not really a collector or anything but I just love fire emblem so damn much, to make things short I wasn't previously aware of the 25th anniversary merchandise and only recently knew of it I made this topic in hopes of finding someone that is kind enough and willing to sell some of that merchandise the two things I'm hoping for the most are the staff book and special openings CD I already possess some merchandise such as the aqua necklace and the special badges but I only am looking for the staff book and cd in particular I've searched for these on many websites like amiami and ebay but I could not find anything which isn't surprising since they were only sold in japan at special events and weren't mass produced to anyone who would consider selling these items, wether directly or from someone they know, please know that I would gladly pay up to around 200 dollars and possibly more for both the staff book and cd but I will only buy them if they are at least in excellent condition as that's how I'd buy any merchandise so I hope someone replies soon! thank you!

Hey Serenes Forest! I'm part of a small group from Reddit that's trying to revive an old project called Fire Emblem Multiplayer, which is based on the GBA games. It's almost self-explanatory; you download the .zip, build a server, then invite your friends to play. It's all based in Java, and so far, lots of FE fans have had fun playing it. The problem is that the game has issues, from very small such as the inability to turn down the audio or resize the game window, to bigger ones like game crashes, missing characters, no menus, and balance between characters. At its current state, it's playable, but the big issues plague it. So, we've decided to see if we can take a crack at improving the game. The creator is okay with this, and the code is open-source. What we're mainly looking so far to do is add menus for configuration, add new game modes, and hopefully balance the game for easy use. It would be awesome, and a great way for FE fans to connect. So i have a couple question regarding the card format. 1-What are the differences between a Normal card and a HN card? 2- what about between a Rare and a Rare+/SR and SR+ (in terms of the physical card itself) Finally, me and a friend want to order a box and split the packs, but since the packs contain a set amount of SR cards, would it be better if we each got our own? Especially considering there is only 1 SR+/R+ in the whole box? Thanks in advance!

Okay, since the last thread did not go over so well I am starting this new one with clarifications from past mistakes. Fists I am the Game Master of the group and I have 3 open spots to my group, which is haply named Ghosts of Altdorf. First thing this is a Fire Emblem Warhammer Fantasy Battle crossover group, so a character that would work in Fire Emblem, of any world due to the out realm gates actually being a thing in awakening, will work here (provided they are not say a high level king for example). I am asking you to make a character’s history and name first as that is what I am using to determine stats. Stats works on a modified system, using a base from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd edition, in it, characters can play Lizardmen, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Humans, and Halflings. The system itself is based on d100 rolls, though the game is muddied in parts to feel more like a Fire Emblem game. The story goes as follows; the worlds themselves were separated before the events of our group, however some adventures from Tellius, and Ylisse, wanted to become heroes themselves, have legends told of them, the best way they thought of this was to explore outrealms. This did not turn out well for our adventures as they themselves ended up in a realm known as The Old World, housing a collection of human nations that are constantly are war. At the heart of hope in this war torn continent is a land so vast that it is just simply known as, the Empire. The Empire was a nation formed over 2,500 by the first Emperor, Sigmar, uniting all the tribes of man in the current Empire to hold back against Chaos and Orc invasions. These tribes still exist today as various counties of the Empire, Middenland, Stirland, Ostland, Hochland, Reikland, Nordland, Averland, Wissenland, Ostermark, and Talabecland. Each of these counties is ruled by an Elector Count, and each serve under the Elected Emperor, who they and 5 over electors choose after the death of the previous Emperor. This party of adventures was nearly trapped, until assistance to get back to their world was given by the Empire, with an audience with the Emperor himself, Elector count of Reikland, Prince of Altdorf, and Deifier of the Dark, Emperor Karl Franz. Through the various wizards of different orders of magic, they were able to return to their home, but not to their time. As they were looking for a way home, Chaos was on the move in their home effecting the nature of their world slowly till it was consumed into worship of the four dark gods, Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, and Tzeentch. They returned to a time before Grima’s defeat, and before Plegia’s first declaration of war on Ylisse as it would turn out, the time they knew of has long since destroyed. This party did not return alone, as with them came a representative selected by Karl Franz for diplomacy was sent with them, the then captain of a minor Reikland army, Markus Wilhelm von Brandenburg. Through him the Empire and Ylisse are still today allies, and the currency of the Empire, crowns shilling and pennies, were accepted into use throughout the lands. Though a new alliance was formed, chaos was on the move as even then people suffered, such a Donnel having Marauders pillage his village and killing all of the inhabitants, Chrom being nowhere nearby, left the duty of protector of what little remained to Captain von Brandenburg. Though Chaos was in the lands that did not stop the Mad King of Plegia’s thirst for revenge, as he still instigated a war with Ylisse, though at the same time, also declared war on the Empire. Scenes set up by the Grimeal failed, from the assassination of Emmeryn, to the hopes of a costly war for Ylisse, Markus outwitted them all in each attempt. The war with Plegia, while still a hurt to Ylisse as they lost their capital, Markus with his small army went on the offensive, and through faith, steel, and gunpowder, took over Plegia’s southern costal lands, and its capital. The Mad King wanting his revenge still tried to execute the current Exalt, and obtain the Fire Emblem, though due to a lack of communication, the trapper became the one trapped with nowhere left to turn, and his plan foiled by the Empire accepted a last ditch deal to the captain, though this deal did not see him be dropped over a kick, has he handed over the lands taken by Markus over, he was kicked off instead, becoming impaled on the rocks below. As this went on Chaos struck again as a warrior on a black Pegasus with two heads and leathery wings landed near Emmeryn, and preformed an act named only as the Blood Eagle. With the Exalt dead, Ylisse’s rulership turned over to Chrom and his wife Robin, and southern Plegia became a new province of the Empire, New Drackwald as it was given over to Captain von Brandenburg to serve as the Elector Count of new lands, as the other counts did not want it since it was far away from their lands. Erzherzog Markus Wilhelm von Brandenburg served as a watchful eye over the lands for chaos, sending state troopers to engage with Marauders before they could strike, and Witch Hunters to weed out worship of Dark Gods in his lands. Though Markus was not alone as he worked, as through the help of others was the only reason he succeeded, from Father Martin Luther who come his court Chaplin, Gaertner Alunni of the light order, who would become his advisor in the winds of magic, Jochlem Koestler a master engineer who would become his steward, and the individual originally called Marth, though that was an alias hiding her name of Lucina, you provided him with foresight, and would later become the Erzherzogin of New Drackwald. As the formation of New Drackwald, the Elector count formed a new unit under his personal command that would act as his sword against the enemies of the Empire and making, the Order of the Exalted Griffon. The Order itself has proven effective against many a different foes, though due to the Orcs now arriving in Valm during the war with Valm, the order itself is undermanned as all of the original group was lost, and now only the court, the royals of New Drackwald, Donnel who lost his original home and turned to the faith of Sigmar, and a not so brave knight of the Blazing Sun are all that remain. You are one of the chosen to replace the lost soldiers through potential you have, or experience. Your motivations for joining could be as simple as the pay being good, a sense of duty, or religious fervor, though whatever your reasons you are still needed, as the end of times draw near, and the world with either have its salvation, or its damnation. Through the coming troubled times heroes are needed throughout the lands, like never before. Okay so that out of the way Warhammer characters will be limited to what can be created in Warhammer fantasy second edition, meaning no high elves riding Dragons for example, though there are some exceptions like one can be an inner circle knight in the Empire and ride a Demigryph, or a Bretonnian knight and have a hipppogrif as your mount, if you are going this route contact me with the class and specifics of your character with a PM before posting. For basic lore on Warhammer Fantasy I direct you to Arch Warhammer’s channel on youtube, though Norwegian and his microphone can be a bit of a problem, his lore is accurate. If I'm not then I will gladly both take this down and make my self scarce on this forum. Anyway, here's the first chapter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prelude The battle was going to be crucial, it was going to decide everything. All the battles, all the time, all the struggles and hardships that had built him up to this point were going into this effort now. A loud crash echoed throughout the chamber as he saw his friend match the tyrant they were fighting blow for blow, but it was not enough. Power and ferocity radiated from this man, this king of destruction and horror. Yet how much of him was still man? How much was not simple bestial hunger and rage, how else could anyone put into action such wretched plans, and commit atrocities by the thousands? It didn’t matter now, it wasn’t the time for introspection or reflection, it was the time to fight! With a cry a bolt of lightning was launched at the madman while his blade was locked with another. The blast found its mark, but the foe of all good and honest people in the land only laughed as the Thoron spell almost bounced off his armor. With a smile that could chill bone, the monster threw off the blade of his opponent and send him tumbling to the ground. The demon who’d brought them to this point attacked the only other person currently standing in the room. Fire and death roared out from his left hand, and the magical defenses that stood against the blows could only shudder against this assault. The owner of said protection spells was then soon blasted across the room and found the wall crashing into his back. Without a big change in circumstances, the two heroes who stood against this warmonger and his plans would be nothing more than dust before his might. “Posturing fools!” The tyrant said as he approached where the Heir of Heroes lay on the ground. “Have you learned nothing?” With an armored foot he kicked the blue haired leader of men across the room and laughed maniacally as he brought his weapons ready seal his victory. “There are be none before me! There shall be none after me!” He stood before his fallen foe, ready to deal the killing blow and end all hope for the future, “Die now for defying the House of a Hundred Demons, for I am the Devil King of the Sixth Heaven! O-” “You talk too much!” The black hearted individual turned his head around just in time to see a powerful Thoron spell crash into him. Unlike the last time though, this bolt struck with hard fury knocked back the Devil King. Rather than act surprised or angered however, the one hailed as the Devil King could only smile in satisfaction as a lone man walked towards doom and destiny. Eyes of a weathered but kindhearted sort gazed into eyes full of malice and darkness. While there was dark power in one set, there was hope and courage in the other, but in both was one thing that was plain to see. Determination and a will of iron that would see both to whatever end they had chosen. This was clear to the two combatants, and they knew that this would be their last and final encounter one way or another. “I suppose I might have been wrong about you! Perhaps there yet exists one in this world who is worthy of my name! It matters not, you cannot stop what is destiny, what is fate!” “No! I will stop you, stop you here and now forever!” The clash of power began with lightning and fire struggling against each other, a fight more of willpower than of raw strength. The words of power read off the ancient and powerful tome sparked energy and might of another age long gone, while the power that stood against it was a miracle of metallurgy and sorcery both, a combination of the best of modern science and the worst of ancient magics. Sparks and flames spewed forth from the center of their duel, and any close by would surely feel the massive surge of power radiating throughout the room. It was with a whisper and not a yell the battle was decided, with the small utterance of the final word of power the strength of the Thoron spell became that of a storm, vengeful and righteous in fury. Even as the Devil King tried to fire his way through the magical might arrayed against him his power failed. With the blade of heroes he ran the monster through with all the might left in his bones. Even the power of the House of a Hundred Demons could not stand against such force, with a earth shattering roar the Devil King fell to his knees and began to fade from this world. With the battle seemingly over with, the two heroes of the hour stood exhausted but jubilant in their own way. What only one of them saw was that the Demon King was not quite done with his fight. “YOU INSOLENT WRETCHES!” He cried as he let off one last blast towards the two heroes. With a great shove the tactician of the Shepherds of Ylisse pushed his commanding officer out of the way of the final dying strike of their enemy. The attack narrowly missed them both, but the force of the explosion knocked them to the ground. The smoke cleared from the tactician's eyes and one of the first things in his field of vision was his friend’s hand. Grasping it quickly, the master of magic, blades, and tactics got up to his feet and smiled a with a sigh of relief. “I think, it’s over now.” The Exalt of Ylisse surmised as red devilish energy dissipated from the now empty armor. “We only carried the day thanks to your work.” Even as Chrom said those words the vision and mind of the man hailed as the High Deliverer of the land became clouded and dark. A sharp and menacing laugh was heard in his head, and it wasn’t long before a voice became to worm its way into a brain normally full of strategies and battle plans. ‘How little you understand of destiny and power, young child.’ It said as control began to vanish, even as he could still feel his hands and feet. ‘How arrogant you were to think you could stand against my might. Watch now as all your work is undone!’ The tactician heard a grunt of pain and saw a flash of light. He wanted to scream, but no words came out of his mouth. The sight he was treated to was his closest friend skewered by a bolt of lightning, and even before his eyes turned down to his hands he knew who fired that mortal wounding blow. He wanted to cry, scream, anything, do something rather than be a prisoner in his own body. Yet there was nothing, the tactician’s eyes could only turn towards Chrom’s face, still full of kindness and trust despite losing life as every moment passed. “Please... It’s not your fault. Leave this place and live... Your hear me? That’s an order! So, I know that the second seal doesn't reset the level anymore, and the eternal seal will raise your max level when used at level 20, but can it only be used once per character? When you use second seal, can you apply the Eternal seal again or do you now stay level 25, not 20? I am mostly worried about how I will be able to max out my character stats this time around in Fates, assuming I can at all without needing stat-boosting items.

Hi. I've tried everything to run this on my android because I don't have a computer. I've got the ROM. But I don't know how to put the patch it on the game. It keeps saying Patching failed Patch format not supported. I'm using UniPatcher and my Emulator is Smart NDS Emulator. Help?

Hi guys. So I've replaying through for two or three weeks and I've been having some problem with my game disc since I got to the Epilogue.. It crashes randomly and I don't really know how I can fix this. I've cleaned it with water and alcohol, but it didn't change anything, in fact, I can't even load my file anymore. I considered getting a new copy, but HOLY SHIT WHY IS THIS SO EXPENSIVE!? I'd like to specify that I've been playing the game with my Gamecube, and since I'm out of town until saturday, I can't even check if playing with my Wii would make a difference. Any advice?
