I know this was odd, but I got into a bit of trouble and now I have to redo everything. I'll update this thread when everything's right again.

During a scene in the trailer you can see someone preform Ice Magic which is interesting topic all on itself but something more interesting is a rat thing you see while the magic is preforming the magic spell. Thanks to The Tree's Apprentice's theory i think i may have a theory on what it is. I think the Magic in this game is going to be based on Feng Sui which is the theory that there are five elements these are: Fire,Water, Earth,Wood and Metal: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/07/FiveElementsCycleBalanceImbalance.jpg The Metal element can take the form of ice, and the magic being used in the trailer was Ice magic, represented by a rat spirit. There is something that goes against this theory..The Rat in Chinese mythology is represented by Water not Metal. On the other hand the Rat like the other Chinese Zodiac Animals can be combined with the 5 elements and Water is associated with Ice so it's not a stretch to assume they choose the Rat to represent Ice. This makes me wonder: Will they introduce a Complete Magic Triangle back into the new game with each element being effect and weak to another. Only time will tell. My name is Onee-nee I am here to introduce you to the idea of Fire Emblem x iDOLM@STER Basically, we are thinking of modding Fire Emblem (Maybe FE7 or FE8) game to add iDOLM@STER Character like Haruka, Chihaya, Takane, and so on with an original story all together. The Story might be the hardest since we are making an original story from a scratch. But I believe we can make this a reality. For starter, I aimed for all 765Pro character to be playable with Cinderella Girls character added to fill the character slot. I was thinking that maybe we can acquire some people who is capable and/or interested in it. Though, digging for the idea only seems to be a very good idea~ To be honest, while I know a basic programming and some adobe flash+Photoshop, I am quite incapable of making this a reality. But I can still pour a lot of idea. For now, let's dig some idea and so on~ Story: -Need Idea- Character: 1. Takane -Lord- The main lord for the first ten chapter (Aka Tutorial Mode) A Regal and Mysterious Maiden of The Old Capital, she wields a Lance, Her growth is based around Skill and Str with good Def growth and great Con yet average speed growth at best, making her an Accurate Tank. 2. Haruka -Lord- Your Main Lord from Chapter 11 to the end of the story. The normally normal girl who is also an idol, she wields sword. The Lord with Eliwood/Marth growth, her growth is basically average at everything except Res (Good Growth), Luck (Bad Growth), and Con (Quite Low) 3. Miki -Lord- Your main lord from chapter 11 to the end of the story when you do second playthrough. The Born talented yet Lazy idol, she wields Axe. Basically Hector expy with a stat that doesn't resemble him much, her str has the best growth but her skill and def are falling behind. 4. Chihaya -Myrmidon- The Myrmidon you need but you don't deserve. The Skilled yet shaken Idol, her class is Myrmidon. Your standard Myrmidon with great skill, great speed, and decent str but plagued by low def and low con. 5. Hibiki -Wyvern Rider- The first flying unit you can use. The Wild and Animal-loving idol, her class is Wyvern Rider. An All-Around and balanced unit that excel at everything except Res. So far, that's the current idea we have. Maybe if you have any idea you can speak up and discuss with everyone. I will be very thankful and pleased if you want to help us, even a simple praise is very supporting for us. Anyone know any anime a manga that resemble Fire Emblem? ...It's a legit question. I found myself worrying yesterday if some of the features that attracted me to Fire Emblem Awakening would be taken out of Fire Emblem IF. Now, mind you this is MY opinion, and I'm aware of the loads of hate Awakening receives, due to the lack of story, and how compared to past installments of the series, it kinda strayed away from its usual way. But I couldn't get enough of having multitudes of Supports. I learned more about these characters I controlled, and I was able to feel like they were more than soldiers because of it. I genuinely wanted to help them to see their cause, and I still play the game with precise care the moment I'm typing this. I loved the idea of an Avatar, a character that was PART of the story. A bad story, I'll admit, but a story nonetheless. The idea you could have children, a spouse, and see them inherit things from you, whether it be skills, or hair colors... I liked it. And then there's DLC and Skirmishes. Ways of grinding, that kept the game interesting, and I could prepare for the ultimate chapters and challenges. This stuff compelled me to take a glimpse at Fire Emblem Awakening, and I couldn't tear my eyes away because of it. But I worry now, because it's clear that the game is near complete. Coming out sometime this Summer (Correct me if I'm wrong?) and the look of the game being so... Filling, I have no reason to suspect they will change much. I've looked when they slowly gave Info about Awakening. How Vaike, Stahl, and Sully had generic models for their sprites. We don't see this now. There's ACTUAL characters now, great animations, and it seems they've got some sort of Story going. What my point is... This game looks like a good bulk is done. The main bulk. Awakening was made with the idea that it was the last in the series, correct? And because of that, they worked their rears off to make Awakening great. And it payed off. Nintendo looks like it values the series, that they put their faith in FE once again, and I couldn't be happier, as within a year this series became my favorite, and I'm ashamed that's because of a simple FE game like Awakening. But... If they work with this mindset of, "This is just another game," this game... Will certainly fall from Awakening's standards. And that's what got so many people on board in the first place: Awakening was a vanilla like Fire Emblem game. Not too much, weapon or class-wise was introduced. So my question here is: Will they work with the mindset of this being the "last" in the series... Or will this be a cheap-Awakening cash-in? (Sorry it was so long! >_< Had this on my mind awhile)

I'm sure that most of you on SF are used to long and drawn out roleplays with lots of character development, story-driving conflicts, and your typical red and green cavaliers in the early game. For those of you who would like a change of pace, or just like boasting your tactical prowess, I present to you: Fire Emblem: Battle Royale! Battle Royale is a storyless, combat driven roleplay, where players will be able to use their own custom Lords and armies to wage wars with and against other players in the game engines that make Fire Emblem one of the best strategy game series of all time. Many key features of Battle Royale include: Like I said before, there is no story for this roleplay, no character development, etc. BUT, if you as the players want to create a story to go along with the grudge matches that I will be hosting, then by all means do so, as long as the premise or flow of the plot does not conflict with the system I've set up for this. I am also encouraging any ideas you guys have for new classes, skills, game-types or other mechanics. They won't be taken for granted but I will give consideration to any suggestions made. With enough interest, I'll supply an OOC with everything you need to know about how to create your character, charts with class information, skills, and how to use your units in battle with the Command System I designed.

Alright, so im having difficulty with having codes that point to specific characters..... for example 2b8c27 Ike's skill slot 7 is 002B16A7 but since there is no one other than ike... i went to level modifiers, since they are tons Tormod's Level Mod is 002B8BFE 000000XX and Ike's is 002B167E 000000XX, but when i subtracted the two, that applied the difference to the skill set 7, for some reason, it went to zihark instead...... could i get help? i need the following codes for these characters Tormod Skill set 7 for Lumina Ilyana skill set 7 for Lumina Soren Skill set 7 for Lumina Oscar Axe and Bow skill Kieran Lance and Bow skill Makalov Axe and Lance skill Astrid Axe and Lance skill Greil skill set 2 to remove discipline If the Serenes Forest Community could help me with this, i will be happy

So! Smash Brothers for 3DS! Watching Gameplay for the Wii U, it must be hella' lotta easier to use a controller, I'm guessing. So I'm used to using customized fighters against other customized fighters. By customized, I mean both custom moves, and custom items, such as those involving Attack, Speed, Defence, the whole sha-bang. I tried For Glory last night. I played for 5 matches. ...I lost all five. For the majority of them, I used my star Marth. While I'm used to using customized moves, again, the Marth I had made only varied when it came to his counter, which lasted a bit longer. But I got friggin' crushed. I don't know how people do it, I went up against, what, three damns Yoshi's? Their air attacks are just... Too much. But I realized, well, I've known, but it only began to frustrate me that Marth has so many laggy moves. His aerial attacks are hard to land, and if they miss, you WILL be punished. The same can be said for his dash attack. Oh, GOD his dash attack. I'm guessing that playing on the Wii U is much more flexible, or easier than the 3DS. But does anyone have any tips for Marth? Any Combos, or anything?

See title. Would you like an Amiibo compatible FE? They would likely work as an evolved form of the Einherjar, letting you train them in one game and then perhaps use them to help a less experienced friend for a bit of gold. Thoughts?

I've wanted to update the Tier List for awhile. Note: weird experiment criteria incoming Tier List Rules: -The game will be played on H3 Lunatic difficulty. -Mixed Male Class Set is unlocked. -Prologue performance is counted when evaluating unit's contributions. Units in Prologue are assumed to get a reasonable amount of experience. -All Characters are to be recruited. -Lunatic stat boosters are assumed to exist and may be distributed however the player chooses as long as the ideal recipients for the first few of each statbooster has received them. -Characters are assumed to be deployed to compare them. Please no arguments along the lines of "this unit doesnt deserve to be deployed". -Rainbow Potion is allowed, Growth Drop and Bond Drop are assumed to exist and allowed. -Wifi Shop is banned. [spoiler=What each tier means] Top tier Units that are core to achieving low turn counts on many maps, and do not require many resources or a team composition to do this effectively High tier Units that significantly cut turns with some degree of resources dumped into them (exp, statbooster, warped, rescue ferried) or support units that make those units capable of those strategies. Will not work in every scenario but are large contributors if utilised correctly Upper Mid Tier Units that may save turns in certain parts of the game and can be decent combat/utility units despite not being ideal for deployment. Mid tier Units that may save turns in certain parts of the game under certain situations. Lower Mid Tier Units that may affect turns in a certain part of the game but their usefulness is very limited outside of that. Upper Low Tier Units that require resources to perform a given task and may not affect turn counts negatively if given said resources. Low tier Units that negatively affect turn counts due to factors like extended babying, denial of resources to important members, etc. Bottom Tier Units that have absolutely no redeeming qualities as well as affecting turn counts negatively and taking up resources from other units. I thought of this as a challenge run for once I start my Lunatic and Lunatic+ Run and wanted to see if anyone else had the same idea. Basically what I'm asking is this: If your avatar was only allowed to be in 3 different classes, which class sets would you pick? Classes not allowed: Lord, Lodestar, Dancer, Villager, Taguel, Manakete,Gender Specific classes and Conqueror. Since the Avatar starts off as a Tactician by default, you have the choice of either keeping the class line or swapping it for a different class once you obtain a second seal. You can still use DLC classes such as Dread Fighter or Bride and it will not count as one of your three classes. For Example: My Class sets would be Mercenary, Myrmidon and Cavaliar.

I know it's not likely at all, but, if it were up to you, which additional Fire Emblem character would you add to Smash 4? Personally, I would want Hector to be put in the game; Hector is my favorite FE lord character, and he loves to rumble. I'd like to see him stand toe-to-toe with the other Nintendo characters on the battlefield! P.S. I realize that other games need representation too, but this is just a "for fun" scenario for Fire Emblem. Have fun, and I look forward to hearing your ideas :)

WHAT IS THIS TOPIC?! Welcome people, this is Mr. Iggy Koopa, and this is the Fire Embem Puns thread! Now, what is Fire Emblem Puns? Well, This is a thread about puns on FE characters! And by that, I mean EVERY PLAYABLE FE CHARACTER. (Along with some major enemy.) Well then, the reason this thread is in Creative, is because other than writing the puns, you have to DRAW the puns. ...What? Didn't get it? Allow me to explain. [spoiler=Huge text wall]So, you're making a pun about Ike. You think about the perfect pun for Ike, and then you think about Mike Tyson for some reason or another (Maybe you're playing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, I dunno.) and then you think about how Mike and Ike's names are similar... And BOOM! You get Ike Tyson as a pun. You start to think of how it should look, and then your creativity just would not stop. You want to make a drawing of said pun. And you make a drawing of Ike Tyson. And you post it on Deviantart. That's probably what you should do. (Except that instead of posting on Deviantart you post on this topic.) Anyways, what I'm saying is that various artists can choose the series that can write puns about. You know, Artist A likes the Jugdral series, and wants to make puns about the Jugdral series. So I let him allow to make puns about the Jugdral series. Then, Artist A wants to change and go to the Akaneia saga, for some reason. Which I let him allow. Now then, here comes Artist B, and he loves the GBA trilogy. He wants to make puns about both Elibe and Magvel series, so I let him allow. Also, the number of artists per group is unlimited, but after a series is finished, then the artists finishing the group must go to another group, or leave. That is it. Another Example! Let's say that the group of Artists C, D, E and F finished making puns about Awakening. This group can go and make puns about another series, or can leave FE Puns. Now, in this example. Artist C goes to make puns about the Akaneia Saga, while Artists D and E go making puns about the Jugdral series, with D doing Genealogy Of the Holy War puns and E making Thracia 776 puns. Then comes artist F, which never played another FE game other than Awakening, and has no knowledge of the rest of the series, so he leaves FE puns. Also, an important rule: Don't use FE stuff as your material for your FE puns, such as Maris-a, a pun of Maris from FE12 using Marisa from FE8. It's unoriginal and unclever. Well then, I guess that's all I have to say. Hoping you have fun with your puns! I have noticed that, since an intsys emplyee mentioned that bsfe should be fe5, there has not been uniformity in the "FEX" numbering system. (for example, vincentasm seems to have been convinced by this remark, as the last site redisign removed all the numbers) As such, i honestly do not know how to refer to any fire emblem games after 4. As using the full name is not convinient, I was hoping that someone could enlighten me as to the correct naming system. So I found out yesterday that Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem has been listed on Bestbuy.com (for those not in the US, Best Buy is a popular tech retailer). The listing does not include any information, not even a release date. However, I think this definitely means the game is happening and we should expect news about it soon. Link to the website here.
