  1. I've attempted a few runs of Genealogy, but I have always chicken out around chapter 2 because Noish and Alec start to fall off a bit, and since I am racing to protect Lachesis and fight bandits I feel like I feel like the slight jump in difficulty is a bit much for me. Should I promote my cavaliers as soon as possible. I usually promote around level 15 in the other games.
  2. I just started playing Genealogy of the Holy War, and I gotta say, I'm loving it. I'm currently up to Chapter 1, and I've already planned my pairings. I know that kids inherit the items in their parents' inventories, and that the only way to trade items is by selling and rebuying them, so item management is much more important than it is in Awakening. I'm just wondering, what items should I give to the parents so their children can perform the best? Here's the pairings I'm planning on doing: Sigurd x Deirdre (obvs) Quan x Ethlyn (also obvs) Lex x Ayra Midir x Aideen Beowulf x Raquesis Lewyn x Erin Azel x Tailte Holyn x Bridget Claude x Sylvia So, what items should each unit have before the end of Chapter 5? I'll use a guide so I know where items like the Brave Axe and Pursuit Ring are located, and I'm planning on buying everything from the armoury that I can, so obtaining the items isn't a problem. Thanks!
  3. Salutations! A while ago I found the amazing translations, made by Leif of Leonster Translations, of the Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War Suzuki Novelization, and began making these little fan-made audio dramas by myself. These audio dramas are voiced entirely by me, and while I am an amateur (though it is my goal to improve and become a proper voice actor one day), I intend to keep making more of these videos. Reading this novelization made me super interested in Jugdral lore, and I am truly thankful to Leif of Leonster Translations for their work. I hope you may find enjoyment in these audio dramas, and hopefully, it too could get more people interested in Genealogy of the Holy War. I intend to update this topic every time I make a new audio drama related to the Genealogy of the Holy War Novelization, so be on the lookout for future parts, though I make no promises as to when! If, instead, you would like to read the translation of the novelization yourself, here's the link for Leif of Leonster Translations: https://four-loose-screws.tumblr.com/post/158382266965/fire-emblem-novel-translations
  4. I wanted to try my first playthrough of FE4 with hard mode AI. Much appreciated if someone could send me their .srm, thanks!
  5. All right, now that Binding Blade's Vindication patch has been finished (for now anyway, I might tweak it in the future). I'm now moving to my Divine Crusade and Promoted Power Madness (Blazing Sword) projects. This project has the following objectives: - balance the game (by changing movement, stats, skills and growths of characters). - modernize stats a bit by reducing HP to the more common levels of recent FEs as well reduce weapons MT - Possibility of changing the maps a bit (not yet sure if possible) - Make light magic more common to use and get - Make almost everyclass capable of doubling via pursuit, with the exception of the tankier classes (so that pursuit ring doesn't become useless) Here's a patch for you to have a bit of a taste. It's not even remotely complete, but the prologue is pretty much fully playable. Other chapters might be as well, but I haven't touched all the enemies and allies that join, so some characters might be off. Use the headered version of the game for this patch, which is what I tested this on. Divine Crusade v0.5.ips
