I'll be getting spotpass characters soon... so I'm wondering, when it comes to stats and just overall, should I get Prince Marth or King Marth?

Hi, i am a long time Fire emblem enthusiast, i have played almost all of the official games, and many of the Fan made hacks. I have my own ideas for story lines, but i have no experience with ROM hacking. So, i need an experienced ROM hacker to assist me in creation of the game. Any level of experience is acceptable as this is my first attempted project. The story line is in progress, but i need to go ahead and get all arrangements made for the project.

So, I posted a thread awhile back asking about class sets for I believe Lon'qu and Stahl: I had already decided their final class, but for Lissa, it's... a bit more difficult. With (M)Avatar being her partner, I was curious if I should keep her as a War Cleric, or a Sage. For her skills, I'll keep Renewal, Dual Support+, Bond, Galeforce, the Max Stats +10 skill, (forgot what it was called...) and then there's the possibility of Tomefaire should she stay as a Sage. I feel like Lissa just might make a more reliable Sage, but the fact MyUnit is a Grandmaster, and pair-up gives that +2 to Magic and Strength, I feel like I can use Swords without worry. I don't really wish to blaze through battles with Tomes, because while yes, I'm trying for the best units I can have, I'm not tryharding any further. That's why I might shelve Galeforce for Lissa: I might swap it in from time to time with Tomefaire, I'm not sure. MyUnit is +HP -Lck, if that has any... relevance.

So I just started chapter 23 on my incredibly slow paced playthrough of Ik... and almost got a heart attack when starting the map. I've been using and leveling a good specific few characters, and out of those characters, there are only two flying units that I regularly use; Belka and Hinoka. The next highest leveled flying unit is Camilla and/or Yuugiri, who I haven't used since recruiting them. Next in line is my LAST flying unit, Tsubaki, who sits at a sad unpromoted level 6. My question is, are flying units the only way to get to the other islands // reach the enemies ?? I pretty much already figured out and made everyone that I typically use into their endclass, so I'm probably going to have to do an atrocious amount of grinding with those untouched characters if that's the case ; u ; But yeah, going to need all the advice I can get for this particular map, thanks in advance ! ; U ; *an alternate idea I was playing around with is using Hinoka and Belka as my "transporters", bringing my strongest one or two units to each island and then cloning the characters using copycat (most of them have the skill already)...but that seems like it'd take a lot of turns and may potentially backfire ~ I think I have copycat on Hinoka as well, which helps, but I'm not sure if Belka can even get it ?? I'm gonna get this checked ~

This is so bad, like so laughably bad. The complete disrespect for the fans, for their own creators, for the medium of art in general. This is enough to make me want to boycott Konami, I'll get MGSV used, even if I have to wait. So glad Bloodstained exists at least. The sad fact is, unlike Capcom and Sega, who are dependant on video games to sustain themselves and are making an effort to fix themselves, Konami makes enough money on bullshit like this to sustain their avarice, never having to owe up to their mistakes.

I really hate to be that one post wonder, but I reeaally need help. The game scr...erm, I don't know this forums rating... The game "has done me wrong" and I'm not asking for a refund, I love the game, this is my second playthrough, but let me explain what has happened... As I said I am but very new to the series but I love it. Awakening is my first game of the series and I saw and plan on buying the next one, and as this is my first of the series, I just wanted to take it easy as I was not familiar with how it plays. I set my first playthough on casual normal (Normal is the lowest difficulty...) to save myself the heart break and beat it. Then after a good break I start my second run on casual hard. Now we are a little caught up. I spent the last couple of sessions trying to grind Cordelia and her husband to have the ideal skill sets as I was trying to go for pre-built children this run and I was so happy when I started missionary fortress to find a black haired Lethality and Galeforce Severa on the battlefield . I don't remember what it was I did after that but after getting into the fight I reloaded into the preparations menu and started again. I get about turn 7 into the fight and I quick save. I'm doing pretty decent. Gaius got bursted down but I'm sure its fine... Severa reaches Holland and by that time im surrounding the enemy boss. I collect Severa and murder Nelson while she is on the other side of the map. I challenge some risen on peaceful village and when Severa killed one of the risen I noticed she didn't get her turn back...I look at her skills and all of a sudden she has vantage and speed +2 as her inherited skills. The game cheated me and I'm pretty upset now. I would do that entire level again just to get the Lethality and Galeforce Severa. I try to find a save that is just before the MF prologue. Here is what my save bank looks like... Save 1 : Useless chapter 1 save of attempted alt Save 2 : Chapter 30 of 1st playthrough Save 3 : Challenge Peaceful Village... uh oh Quick Save 1 : Killing blow on Grima from 1st playthrough Quick Save 2 : Paralogue 10 Ambivalence (AKA Mercenary Fortress) Turn 7 I load the 2nd quick save and look at Severa to have all happiness just ripped out of my soul (I have a soul?!) Vantage and Speed +2 Severa. I know I had the GF Leth Severa. I saw it! I know because I had to readjust my push to account for a severa last hit power push into enemies. Is there like anything I can do? If i can just exit to the world map I can maybe fix this...does anybody have some insight? ;-;

So, okay, so now that I know that the third route is released I want to unlock it on my special edition game. I've already got MyCastle and whatnot but I can't seem to find out how to unlock the third route (and I don't understand Japanese at all, so that doesn't help). I tried the bottom option on the left side of the full menu and clicked the part with a 3 on it but it just gives me an error message? Am I in the wrong place or…? (I included images of what it says when I click on it and the message I got)

Okay so I have played all fire emblem games excluding the Jugdral saga. The reason being is they are very intimidating as I here they are very punishing to the uninformed. So i guess what I am asking is any tips for a newbie. Im not sure if we are allowed to discuss fan translations but does anybody have a link to one for either game (if we aren't supposed to discuss them just don't mention it.)

So, I don't know how to post pictures (and I don't really care at the moment) but... http://i.imgur.com/jM6AsDZ.jpg I was playing Smash 3DS, and I just simply did a forward air with Marth, and as I slid my finger, which was on the Circle Pad, back into its normal position, I lifted my finger, and the Circle Pad came off. I've looked around the internet, and apparently Nintendo does indeed fix these things, but at like, half the price of a brand new 3DS. I don't plan on keeping this thing for much longer. I've had it since Day 1 release, and honestly, if a bundle 3DS for the new FE comes here to the Americas, I'm buying that in a heartbeat. I've tried playing without it, but the spot where the circle pad was is starting to hurt my hand. Does anyone have any ideas? A simple solution, that doesn't require much work??

So I'm very confused on how Seals work in Fates, what does the parallel seal do? And is it true that when you promote to a second tier class, you can't move back down? And with parallel seals, if your level stays the same, wouldn't that mean that when you reach level 20, you can't raise your stats any higher? Any help would be appreciated!

So I just attempted to complete the prologue and I got rekt like 5 times. The RNG goddess is cruel and unforgiving, getting a crit on Krom AND Frederick. MU: Female, +Def -Luck Yeah, I know, give Frederick the sword and keep Liz out of range.

I was testing out some weapons earlier, when I was reminded how the convoy differs in FE7 than FE8 (or any other FE, as far as I'm aware). I looked through Nightmare to see if there was a class option to change my lord character convoy access/ability to send excess items to convoy, but I didn't see anything. Is there a way to give other characters Merlinus' properties of being able to access the convoy, as well as letting items be sent to the convoy when an inventory is full?

I cleared half of chapter eleven with Chrom and olivia paired, and am now at turn 131 because of dances. Olivia is about level 17. Yet when I finish the chapter,chrom marries the maiden. I have browsed the internet, yet have not found anyanswers. Help! (Chrom has not supported with any females)

I've followed this site for a good many years, as it's been a reliable source for fun-to-play hacks and delightful humor. However, as of late, and in my recent becoming-a-member, I feel blatantly ignored and disappointed by my peers and heroes. Sadly, I've found nothing but brick walls not leading to Diagon Alley in my pursuit of some of my favorite hacks, which I wouldn't fret about if I hadn't experienced 8 separate hard drive crashes, each with hundreds of hours of gameplay. In my experience, if the link isn't outdated, or otherwise yielding in error, then it isn't resulting in the final version of the hack. Hopefully someone can help me reattain my collection of finished and as-finished-as-they-will-be hacks, which include, but are not limited to, Mk404's FE7, Mk404's Sacred Dawn, Gheb FE, Gheb Saga, etc. While I see directories, and am very thankful for them (thank you), I see hacks have either been looked over or died. In light of finding absolutely no help in the chatbox, I hope that taking the initiative to post inspires someone to help me. Hello everyone~! I decided to play this game thanks to recommendations of others! I do not have much of a history to speak of. Started the series with Awakening a few months ago and cleared L+ with it. I'd say my skill is decent/average. Now for my question: I have literally no clue how to play FE7, and since it is quite old now, I figured there might be some gimmicks which influence the way one experiences the game (game mechanics/gameplay related/weird AI behaviour)? Are there units which I should stay away from, or are there units which get hopelessly outclassed later on, to the point of making you think "If I had known Y exists, I would have never bothered training X". It's not that I'm asking for a tier list. I tried solving these questions on my own, but didn't read the few threads I found on the topic too much (out of fear of getting spoiled). If it is not too much to ask for, could you please give me a little guideline? Even if it's very generic, I can still work with it!

So East Chemblem is a FE based Touhou fangame, as plenty of you probably know. I have the program all set up and ready to go, but I have a bit of a problem in that it crashes a bit of the way in. Does anyone else encounter this, and how can I fix it? Am I missing files? EDIT on my specs: I can Run Touhou 13.5, but not Dolphin. Oh yeah, you are all free to discuss other aspects of Touhou Chemblem here, not just answer the above question.

Okay, I decided to start rom hacking cause it seemed fun but FEditor will not boot I found the executable jar file file after unzipping it but I got this error message Could not find the main class: FEditorAdvance.App. Program will exit. So according to this, I don't even have the editor if I'm reading it right but that is kinda bullcrap cause I downloaded 3 times from 3 differnt sites in a attempt to slove this problem. Am I doing something wrong P.S. What are the limitations of just using Nightmare Modules

Hello! I have an idea for a Rom Hack(For either FE7 or FE8), well obviously ahaha. Anyways, I suppose i'll give the idea below and a few of the characters that i wish to be in it. I cannot hack, i have no idea how to, but I am going to try and do my best. Now onwards. Be gentle i am quite new to this all. I'll post any progress here The continent of Asherina has a long and rich history of war. For thousands of years the countries were at war with each other, that all changed when the 7 heroes took up ending the wars. Together these 7 heroes gathered an army and put the war to rest. After the war the 7 heroes each settled down and founded the new countries on the promise to never have war with each other. Ravi the Archbishop founded Zinnia. Seraph the Enchanted Sorceress founded the land of Brookedom. Wayne the Wandering Warrior founded the Republic of Torus. Neil the rebellious Saint of Swords founded the free nation of Cronus. Mira the Maiden of Dusk founded the small country of Velma. Thames the Swift Archer founded the country of Eros. Rosalie the Soaring Falcon founded the country of Jakars. 900 years have passed since those days and the lands have kept their promise generation after generation. That is until the King of Velma, Kojak, begins to play with evil ancient magic. The event that transpired afterwards is the tale of young Warriors who must choose either their country or justice. Characters that I have planned out: Main Characters: Hope- Hope is a young (16-17) Mage girl who is apart of a mercenary brigade known as 'The Crimson Scar'. She is fairly new to magic, but she has a natural talent for it. Very smart. Light pink long hair,green eyes, and pale skin, flower accessory in her hair. Weiss(Pronounced Veiss)- Weiss is the leader of the mercenary brigade 'The Crimson Scar'. He is a very adept axe user and has been fighting for a long time. He is very serious about jobs when they come in, He wants to keep the reputation of the brigade up so they get higher paying jobs. White shaggy hair held in place with a headband, brown eyes, tan skin. Miles- Miles is a male Pegasus knight. He is one of the few males who choose to try and become a Pegasus knight, most of the time male's are rejected by the creatures but because of Miles's calm soothing nature he was able to tame one to be his partner. He named his partner Cerise and cares for her very much. He prefers swords over lances but can use both. He is often made fun of for not being manly. Blonde well kept hair, pale red eyes, fair skinned. Thomas- Thomas is the level headed myrmidon of the group. He is often found reading and is very quiet, but has a very strong presence. He is good friends with Hope and they often fight together. He is mainly fighting on the front lines with Captain Weiss. Long straight black hair, light blue eyes, fair skinned. Micah- is the healer of the group. He was kicked out of the church of Zinnia for acting out of term against the Archbishop. He was exiled and is to never to return. He is soft spoken and is also an adept light Mage but rarely will he fight. He usually sticks to healing the team. Light orange short stylish hair, bright blue eyes, pale skinned. Bryn- Bryn is a cheery optimistic archer. She was raised with a tribe of local plains-people, she could match anyone with the bow. She joined the brigade out of a want to see the world. She is often seen practicing her archery or visiting with the townsfolk of wherever they are at the moment . Short layered blue hair, yellow eyes, olive skinned. Isabelle- Isabelle is a sword fighter who has an eye for trouble. She is often being dragged out of fights in the streets by her younger brother. She will defend her beliefs until the end even if it means hurting others that choose to argue. Despite her temper she is a very strong member of the group and is always there to help. Long pale green hair, dark brown eyes, tan skinned. Basra- Basra is Isabelle's younger brother, if you see her, chances are that he's right there with her. He is an Armour Knight who will protect his friends with his life. he is the youngest member of the group but is defiantly more mature than his elder sister. He has shaggy dark green hair, pale purple eyes, and tan skin.

So at the moment, She is in the Dark Flier class. The skills she has are: Veteran, Ignis, Solidarity, Rally Spectrum, And Galeforce. Any ideas to make her better?

So I'm currently looking at Laptops down the road (by down the road I mean the end of this year) to replace my school issued one (which I love) which I got back in 2011. It functions great and all and I've taken great care of it but I realize it will be aging and I'll need to get a new one. Its a Dell Latitude E6420 with Windows 7 64-bit Current Specs are: Intel Core (2 Cores) i5-2520M @2.50 GHz 8.00 GB of RAM (just upgraded this recently to beef it up) Nvidia NVS 4200M (512MB Dedicated Memory) (2282MB Total) Direct X10 232GB Hard Drive (I own a 1TB Backup as well) Suprisingly I've been able to run Starcraft II and Skyrim smoothly. Civilization games run great. I remember that Dell used to have the option to customize builds but they don't do that anymore disappointinly so. I'm not too big into gaming on PC but I do want something better than what I currently have so something with an i7 and at least 8GB RAM. A SSD would be nice too and space isn't an issue since I've got my whole TB HDD still practically empty. I plan to primarily use it for coding, video editing, internet, and various other productivity uses. Is there a particular brand I should look at? Dell, Hp, Alienware? Etc...

So I know the fourth episode of Memories of Phantasm was released some time back. However, while I can find raws, I cannot find any with English Subtitles. That might not exist yet, but does anyone know of one that does?

is someone able to recommend me some tutorials for the questions below or make some or answer them or something like that? because i have found nothing or i am too inaccurate with searching for them. i am desperate and i need help... About me:(to know who the flux wants halp) I am a total N00b when it comes to hacking, in fact i started only a while ago. The only thing i know is how to patch ROMs(Mobile devices and PC) and Play Fire Emblem. Also i know how to create custom maps, but IMO I think this is Basic :P. I have some hacking utilities :Nightmare+ FE6-8Modules, Event Assembler, FEditor Adv, GBAGE, Tiled Map Inserter, Mappy+FE6-8 tilesets, MAR array inserter, FE Recolor, HxD Hex editor, Paint(duh) and of course the FE7 1235 ROM. Also i use Windows XP I can speak and write in English, but i might not understand everything simply because it is not my mother language, its german/ russian. I am 15 years old, male, otaku and hikikomori now that you know whats going on QUESTION TIME: My questions are: Do i need more utilities for: Music/ Spriting / Eventing etc and if, which are recommended? How do i correctly use nightmare? how do i imply my own music(after i transformed it to GBA standarts/Instruments of course)? how do i put Customized {Battle animations;Map sprites; Mugshots(enemy and players units); Chibi Mugs(same)}into the actual game? (I use Paint for customized Mugs and sprites, i am familiar with this, i use it to draw bad pics since i was a lil` shouta, my question is how do i put dem into da game) Blood in Battle animations, Events? Am i able to Create new Map tilesets(e.g. cities, woods, buildings, holy sth, hell, paradise, space etc.) with Paint and if i am able to do so, do i handle with it like i do it normally(adding maps with mappy and inserting it with MAR array inserter) and if not, how do i imply them to the game? Customized classes: (unpromoted Sword and lance user, unpromoted Sword and Dark magic user, unpromoted everything user, promoted Nothing user etc.) How do i Create them/ put them into the game. Strength/ magic split? Customized Weapons, how do i create them and put them into the game, how do i do this Weapon Rank thing, Prf-Ranked weapons? how do i imply this weapon picture that shows the weapon? special weapons for special animations? {Imply new Units to the ROM; New/ More chapters}e.g. 50, possible? Recommended? Eventing(there are many tutorials for this one, so a tutorial recommendation might be unnecessary, but still useful) stuff going on in the story(like meteors falling down, that hurt/ kill a unit) a unit attacking "nothing"(a unit attacks "nothing" or "nothing" attacks you, this could be a invisible unit or something) Semi-serious questions: fourth wall breaking, Possible?!!?!? is it bad that i am 15? I dont know if this happens to others (it probably does), but whenever i play online, regardless of the type, with or without friends, i always experience like a full second of input lag (to clarify; its when i press a button, and its effect happens a while after pressed). This happens all the time, and is seriously annoying and putting me off playing multi altogether on Smash. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Would appreciate it lots...
