  1. Heyo! I'm on a quest to get some of the strongest kids you can get in this game, and through many threads and help from the advice people have given me on some of my other posts, I think I've got some great pairings; but alas, I have one last problem: Panne. I have every single character a partner, but her. The only men not taken are Kellam and Gregor, and I don't know who's a better Dad for Yarne. Thanks in advance!
  2. So, in Awakening there are all these people like "cHrOm GiVe Us ThE fIrE eMbLeM" like Gucci Gangrel and Validar iirc so why doesn't Kellam just hold the Fire Emblem? It sounds like a joke but seriously no one would even know where it is because it wouldn't basically exist. I think that this is a pretty big plothole. Chrom could literally save the entire kingdom of Ylisse from havoc if he just gave Kellam the Fire Emblem. But... what if Chrom didn't even remember Kellam? Well..., in order to get Kellam you need Chrom to talk to him in Chapter 3, which is at least 1 interaction with Chrom in the game, and knowing how much Kellam is forgotten, Chrom should give him the Fire Emblem if he has any sort of brain. So, we have 3 conclusions, A plothole Chrom is dumb It is a game calm down -The End-
  3. Hello, Today I've begun a solorun with Kellam. WHY KELLAM? Because Kellam comes quite early in the game, allowing the player to solo most of the game with him. He also has a great class set with good growths in many areas and he can open chests so I don't need another character to do so (plus he is the tankiest possible thief you can have in the game except MU, Spotpass and DLC characters). WHICH DIFFICULTY? WHICH MODE? Normal difficulty because it's my 1st attempt to solorun and it's probably much more difficult on hard mode when you reach the endgame. I've heard that there are many healers healing the boss in the final stage and in hard it could be difficult to kill it if I can't deal more damage than they can heal. No perma-death mode, simply because keeping everyone alive when you only use one unit in combat is very hard even in normal (some characters can't take more than 1 hit and are surrounded by ennemies after the 1st ennemy turn). I also intend on doing post-game content so I prefer recruting every gen 1 character without letting them die. WHY "CLOSE TO"? Because some chapters require to defend NPCs with many paths leading ennemies to them, so I used Frederick to block the paths and kill his way's ennemies (I don't want a ton of turncount either, even if it's not a speedrun). I also used some freshly recruted characters to make some turns not game over for stupid reasons like Lucina too weak to handle 3 ennemies in chapter 6 (seriously her stats as a NPC make me roar). Why IS? Why is she so WEAK?! She has even less def than Anna the merchant has in the chapter 9 map (where you recruit Tharja and Libra) and only a ridiculous 20 in avoid. I think Eirika lv 1 had about the same avoid in FE TSS (so correct me if I'm wrong, a 9 level difference and the same avoid for the same class and no skill like avoid +10 to compensate). The remake of the speed and luck stats seems complete trash to me (especially in early game) but that's another matter and that's not relevant. NOW LET'S RECAP WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR (chapter 20 or 21 completed yet).
  4. i hate kellam he is annoying and generals are a bad class reply if you agree if you don't agree, you're wrong
  5. Is there anyone out there who enjoys using Kellam as a main unit in their army? Every time I've played the game, his character and his "no one sees me" gimmick irritated me to the point that I never even used him in any battles other than as a Pair Up with my Avatar or another character who could use the defense boost. He's just such a boring character as far as I'm concerned, but I'm genuinely curious if anyone else likes him as a character and/or likes using him! =)
  6. Hi, So basically, I have an S-support between Kellam and Panne, and for some odd reason, Paralogue 13 (where I can recruit Yarne) has not opened up. I thought that either Kellam wasn't a compatible father or that the chapter that gated the Paralogue hadn't been completed, but upon quick research, I found that wasn't the case. I am now at Chapter 19, and the Paralogue still hasn't opened up. Have I glitched the game, or can I still fix this somehow? :/ Thanks in advance, monfernova
  7. So, I'm currently working on optimal skills to aim for in my next playthrough given this is my very first fire emblem (and first play through of this game) I wasn't really familiar with any of the mechanics whatsoever. Currently these are the two members I'm close to finishing with my choice of skillets: Kjelle; Parents: Virion x Sully Skillset: Hit Rate + 20, Aegis, Pavise, Luna and Dual Guard+ For Kjelle, I want to substitute out Hit Rate +20 for something (considering she is my defense powerhouse and overtook Kellam's role). As for a final class, after acquiring whatever skill is needed for the fifth slot should I leave her as a general or make her a great knight or paladin to give her better movement? Gerome, Parents: Gregor x Cherche Skillset: Strength +2, Breakers (Sword, Axe and Lance) and Sol. For Gerome, I believe there's a better skill for Strength +2, maybe go into acquiring Armsthrift or Vantage to increase his offensive capabilities? While his final class, I guess leaning into the more traditional Wyvern Lord is the obvious choice... any alternatives? Next I'm finishing up my Avatar, Chrom, Donnel, Lucina and Morgan. Any helpful info is appreciated. Peace.
