  1. Hey, it's Paz, who barely appears on the forums. I've made a bunch of MIDIs that I hope you'll enjoy- I exported them in a big sample MP3 for you to hear. If you enjoy the sample, contact me directly or in this thread if you want my help in producing music for a hack. I'll give you both the MIDIs I've made in here and any more that you request as we collaborate. Sample MP3.mp3
  2. Does anyone know where I can find it? I know its very similar to paradise scramble but I prefer this due to the guitar in the battle theme.
  3. Hey guys. So recently I've been mustering up the courage to do Apotheosis Secret Path, and I figured I needed an epic battle music playlist for when I eventually try it. That's where you guys come in. Just post the name of an awesome battle theme and preferably a link to the YouTube video so it'll be easier for me to sort them. Look forward to your guy's suggestions!
  4. Does anyone know where I can find the song that plays in IK on the fire map with Ganz? I believe it also played in the E3 trailer. Sorry to bother but I've looked everywhere. And before someone links me to that huge music dump download, I am at work and cannot download such files onto my work computer.
  5. Introduction Hello children. Today I'm going to teach you the basics of editing FE (and GBA) sample editing. Here you'll learn: All about the voice table Navigating the voice table editor in Sappy Taking existing voices from other songs in the game Creating and editing multi-instruments Creating and editing drum instruments; how to fix the boop Envelopes (Atk/Dec/Sus/Rel) and how to use them Don't worry, it's all very simple and just requires a little bit of occasional maths and a decent understanding of how to use a hex editor. You'll need a working version of Sappy and if you haven't already, please read my explanation of the Sappy UI and if you're using FE7 or FE8, I highly recommend patching your ROM with the12-track patch. This tutorial is oriented at editing EXISTING resources within the ROM, and less so on inserting NEW resources. Still, I will teach you how to use some new resources too. Custom samples and importing samples will be taught in another tutorial. I'll be using the words "voice" and "instrument" interchangeably. Questions within the thread are more than welcome. Also, this tutorial contains lots of hyperlinks to FEUniverse since it was originally formatted for FEUniverse (go figure). I really can't be bothered updating them so you'll just have to deal with it.
  6. Hello, I've got a problem with MIDI insertion using Blazer's tutorial. When i copy data from song.gba and set the pointers like in this tutorial, set the pointer to 0x8000000+adress and launch the game it freezes. P.S. I've tried to open the track in sappy, but it shows more than 100 tracks. What have I done wrong? What can I do to fix this?
  7. So! There was an update to this website and its music offer today: http://renka-web.com/news/news_001.html#clearfile It's a pretty cool set of offers, particularly with the limited edition set. Anyway, apparently, there is an option to reserve/pre-order this on the Japanese Amazon page. I'd love to snag it, but I've never made a purchase on a foreign webpage before, and know absolutely nothing about currency conversion or shipping changes... Anybody have any insight? (I hope this post is in the right place!)
  8. I've recently found a love for film and game music, and was wondering what games everyone thought had particularly exceptional soundtracks.
  9. Instead of having a designated fight theme, Awakening had arrangements of the map themes. When you started a fight, it changed to the "Ablaze" tracks, but kept your position in the song. IIRC, there were no boss themes, and boss fights just had the Ablaze themes as well. Would you like this back, or would you prefer to have a separate fight theme like the past games? I would prefer to have a separate fight theme, as I personally believe that it's dumb and that the Ablaze tracks didn't fit battles.
  10. Hey everyone, recently got back into Awakening, and I was playing the Apotheosis map, and I loved the music in it along with a few other tracks from DLC. I really want to own the tracks, but the thing is, I've been searching everywhere for downloads to the music, and can't seem to find it anywhere. I've looked through Serene's Forrest, officially released soundtracks, YouTube, and all over other anime/music downloads, and I can't find these tracks anywhere. I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction, or provide me with some links to obtain the tracks. Anyways, thanks in advance to anyone who helps! Also, if this is in the wrong place, I apologize.
  11. Basically a music dump. Show us your faves! https://youtube.com/watch/?v=7ziXSioJ2JQ This... I cried the first time. And each subsequent time. It's beautiful.
  12. So I just got a 12 hole Ocarina modeled after the Ocarina of Time and am learning how to play it. After some digging around I found this site which has good tabs for various songs not just from the Zelda series but from other games as well. Currently looking for tabs for some Fire Emblem music. Feel free to post tabs here. http://tabs-ocarina.com/ocarina-tab-list
  13. I'm not going to post the video here (NSFW, 18+ material) but if you care to watch it, a quick Google search will sort you out. And yeah, I watched it, and, I can'ttthaoch;icljkndc;oeihrf fh frw;jf fj fn but the music and accompanying video are awesome in both the artistic sense, and the mindfucking sense "About ME!ME!ME! is a 2014 electronic pop song created by Japanese DJ and producer Teddyloid that quickly gained cult status among anime fans for its catchy tunes and the enigmatic premise of its music video, which prominently features suggestive themes and an abundance of attractive-looking female characters. Origin On November 17th, 2014, a preview of the animated music video for Teddyloids ME!ME!ME!was released on the official website of Japan Animator Expo, a weekly web series launched and curated in collaboration between the Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Annos Studio Khara and the Japanese media company Dwango in late October 2014 as an outlet to showcase various works by up-and-coming artists, followed by the release of the full-length music video on November 21st. According to the official description, the music video illustrates the story of a young man being attacked and ravished by many girls. The track was originally composed by Japanese electronic musician Teddyloid with lyrics provided by Daoko; the animated music video for the song was produced as a joint effort between character designer Shuichi Iseki and executive director Hibiki Yoshizaki." the song itself is sfw though so here http://www.mediafire.com/listen/osf9ixa7r0brmne/TeddyLoid+-+ME!ME!ME!+(Static+Soundtrack+ver.).mp3
  14. This thread is intended for every metal fan on this site. Both to share your tastes and ongs, for as metal has a veriety of sub-genres, and to discuss anyting related to it. Bands, lyrics and their interpretatons, vocalists, guitarists and the like. As a starter I'll post this: Children of Bodom
  15. Has anyone else heard some familiar tunes when you are listening to certain FE music? For example, in Geneology's "Eldigan the Lion-Heart" song, something that sounds like the Smash Brother Brawl main theme plays throughout. Another example is in Path of Radiance's "Congregation of Ambition", where Linebeck's theme from Zelda: Phantom Hourglass can be heard at a certain point. I know the FE songs here have been made years before the other games, but I want to know what everyone else thinks: Coincidence or Foresight? Of course, maybe it's just me...
  16. Sort of self explanatory. What songs do you like most, out of each type? I'll give my opinion and a template. [spoiler=mine] Recruitment Theme: FE8's "Comrades". Map Theme: From FE10's "Dark Traveler" to FE8's "Companions", "Precious Things", and "Inescapable Fate" to FE9's " Change of Scenery" and "Greil Mercenaries" to FE13's "Conquest". I like 'em all. Preparations Theme: FE8's "Preparing to Advance" Battle Theme: FE9's "Decisive Attack". I also like FE8's "Attack". Arena Theme: FE8's "In the Colosseum" Final Map Theme: FE13's "ID Purpose" Enemy Phase: FE8's "Defense" and FE13's "Annihilation" are both good. Event Music: Not sure. Recruitment Theme: Map Theme: Preparations Theme: Battle Theme: Arena Theme: Final Map Theme: Enemy Phase: Event Music: Boss Theme: (If you want.)
  17. Essentially what is your favorite music in the series? Anything really applies. Anything from a recruitment theme to a boss theme to a victory theme. My favorite is either powerful foe or I'd Purpose. What is yours?
  18. What's everyone's music taste been like throughout the years. mine was something like this; ages 5 to 8: I'm pretty sure i was listening to stuff like Five, Eiffel 65, Gorrilaz, Papa Roach, Outkast, Limp Bizkit ages 9 to 10: I was well into Queen and Guns N' Roses. especially Guns N' Roses ages 11 to 12: I started to listen to what my older brothers were listening to at the time. 19. Which music should be added in SSB4?
  20. So, my roommate noticed how often I was playing around with the Fire Emblem Main Theme on piano and suggested I attempt jazzing it up, so... Here you have this rough draft that I put together before work. I thought you guys might appreciate! This is obviously a work in progress. I mean, I'm only doing the first 8 bars of the main theme, but I hope that those of you who give it a listen will MAYBE enjoy. Note: It's VERY rough. I do not have the right equipment to record properly for now.
  21. Greetings fellow Fire Emblem fans. Name's Rudrake, an audio/video/music nerd who also loves video games. My first introduction of Fire Emblem was FE7:Blazing Sword and I even chose to do that game for my first Youtube series. I call them Talkhroughs instead of LPs (personal preference and its a tribute to the guy that got me into doing it). Looking forward to meeting and talking with you all. Check out my youtube channel if you like. https://www.youtube.com/user/WesPaul88
  22. Just thought I'd share my music, the latest 3 are much better done than the older ones, except for a small audio problem at the start of mechanisms. Any comments would be appreciated, especially on 'the pale to the dark' as that's for college work, and i need to do a write up of it, including some reviews by other people. https://soundcloud.com/elliot-ernie-blanchfield
  23. If you're a fan of Fire Emblem music, check out this podcast, which discusses and analyzes music from almost every game in the series. From the first game on the Famicom, all the way to Awakening. Enjoy! http://supermarcatobros.com/2013/11/03/episode-84-fire-emblem/
  24. Just thought I'd ask. For those of you who don't know, I'm a music fanatic, and play a lot (Hoping to go pro). I love punk rock. Bands like Anti-flag, Rise against, Gallows and The wonder years. Also LOVE Biffy clyro an unbelievable amount. Dem riffs...
  25. So next week I have a gig with a couple mates at a corporate/charity event for a set playing blues and swing during lunch, and another one there the following day. After the thursday show I have to get on a train straight away to catch a bus to my normal bands gig at a music based pub. 3 gigs in 2 days. I think that's pretty good. Plus I get to play songs in the 'Blues Brothers'. SO EXCITED!!!
