this is my first post and i thought it would be exciting for me to meet new people by them telling me how they are by using quotes and characters from fire emblem (you can also use an item) i.e. Hi im <username> and im literally a GBA archer (not good) , hello im <username> and i had to tip the scales. -
I've never been a huge fan of any of the writing in the Fire Emblem games. It's usually serviceable at best. For the most part this game falls into that category but I'll admit there were a number of times where the writing in this game really struck me with how good it was. So, I thought it would be fun to post your favorite lines from the game and explain what made them stand out. Please use the spoiler tag if you think it's necessary. Just thought I'd do this for fun, and see what people's favourite special attack lines are! Heroes is great in that every character now has voices and special attack lines, so let's see which ones are your favourite? Now due to the vast amount of characters (and alt characters), I'll do these in batches. A poll will be up for each batch of up to 3 characters. Vote and/or post your favourite special attack line for each one (poll is multiple choice so you can choose for each unit) and I'll keep track! NOTE: If you see the results straight away and want to vote, just press the "Show Vote Options" button on the bottom left of the poll and you can vote on each new poll. First off, let's appropriately start with the Askr Trio! You can play the voice lines for each character in the FE wiki links (in the "Special Skill" section) Winners List: -------------- Personally, my choices are: Alfonse - "Above all...the mission!" pretty much defines Alfonse, and I like Ray Chase's delivery with the pause for added effect. "I'll open the way" is a close second though. Sharena - "Ladies first!" Short, sassy and sweet. Most memorable one since the other lines are actually pretty generic. Anna- "Onward to victory" although "We will triumph!" is a very close second. I really just like the word 'triumph' to be honest, but "Onward to victory" has a great delivery with the syllables and is more memorable. (As for the order of these batches, I will rotate between games since 186 characters is a lot so Fates characters for example won't be featured until a very long time. I'll do the main lords first though.) -

Wait!! This contains spoilers, for Awakening! Anyways, I decided to make a forum for some good old Fire Emblem OC development, specifically ones meant to be in Awakening. This doesn't even have to be an OC, either! As long as you can write for a character in their personality, it's all good. This is a very long process, and I want people to write a lot of good quotes, so be prepared to take some time on this. Anyone know where I can find the original Japanese critical attack quotes along with their English translations? I've been looking, but i haven't had much luck.

Seeing your units landing a critical hit is always great, especially how epic the animations are. I'm not sure if this has already been a topic recently but if characters in Blazing Sword did had quotes wither its text or voice acted in a future remake (not saying it needs one). What are the ones you would hear if the game had these quotes for these characters. I only have a few that I thought up for some units and they could be better but maybe you can give them or other characters better quotes. Sain: "Time to impress the ladies!" Farina: "I hope you have insurance!" Lucius: "Elimine, hear my prayer." Florina: "You will not harm Lyn!" Rebecca: "Concentrate..." Karel: "Savor your last breath of air!" Raven:"Not even close..."

Let me know if there is already a thread for this(I couldn't find one), but there are many amusing quotes from Awakening, my personal favorite being a Nowi line. Here it is: (When in a shop, and selling items, choose Nowi, and on the bottom screen, she will complain.)"Nowi's stuff, hands off!" Another funny shop quote is Chrom's: "Robin(or avatar's name)... are we strapped for funds?" Gaius said this one time when gaining experience points from an event tile: "I don't care what they might say, stealing candy from a baby isn't as easy as it sounds." those just stuck with me, but what are the most amusing lines you found in supports, chapters, or anything else?
