  1. Which mainline Fire Emblem game do you feel hard the hardest soldiers and why?
  2. (First of all, sorry if this is not the right Forum to ask.) I was creating a little custom class of mine but I required a ''Infantry Sword user with Shield'' animations, I didn't think any of the already present sprites in FE meet all requirements so I started looking out for custom animations. I found one that was pretty much what I was looking for (''Squire'', from RusselClark, A Random Player, and Kobazco), but I ended up with some erros with it (and isn't really that good...sorry creators.) Then I noticed that the Soldier class has pretty much everything I want, but he uses a lance. I was hopping for a custom animation of the Soldier but with Swords, but even tough it looks like something easy to find (since all you actually need to change it's his weapon), I couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't want to be ''this guy'' but...I'm going to ask for help to find it. Please, if you found it anywhere or just happens to have one, point it to me. I'm happy to give any credit, as long as I know who's the creator. (Also, I guess I should say that English is not my Main language.)
  3. I noticed this a while ago, but from the 0:32 to 0:40 mark on the trailer (they're also barely visible at the 0:55 mark), one of the allied units looked like this: Given the amount of armor they're wearing, I find it hard to tell whether the soldier class will be returning, or if it's a knight that finally has some reasonable looking armor. Considering that in Gaiden/Echoes, the knight class was a promotion of the soldier class, I'm curious if this may be the case in Three Houses. Who knows? Maybe they're a Jeigan unit? Maybe soldiers can decide whether to promote into knights or a different class this time around? Or maybe knights will return, and have the least ridiculous looking design in the series? ... On a somewhat different note, I looked through the entire trailer, and the only character that had a shield was the lady in the beginning. Otherwise, no unit, allied or enemy, on the map, in a cut-scene, or on the battle screen, was wearing a shield. In the past, shields were only cosmetic (except in Gaiden/Echoes, where they were an equipable item, but even then certain classes had shields while holding something else), but I'm curious if this time around, shields will have to be equipped, and if they'll serve a greater function. I could be wrong and they'll appear on the advanced classes, but all the same, it does seem somewhat odd.
  4. This is something I've sorta been pondering for a while. On the one hand, Spear Fighters and Spear Masters, like Tellius Soldiers and Halberdiers, are balanced, Lance-using footsoldiers associated with the militaries of their home countries. However, Spear Fighter also has some skills which are associated with it that the Tellius Soldier line does not have, although skills work very differently in 3DSFE compared to Jugdral/Tellius, so I wouldn't really consider the skills each 3DSFE class learns to be quite equivalent to having them as built-in "class skills" in a Jugdral/Tellius-style setup. Also worth considering is that the option for Spear Fighters to promote into a mixed physical/magical class in Basara would almost certainly not be mirrored in a theoretical second promotion option for Tellius Soldiers. What are everybody's thoughts on this? I'm having trouble coming to a conclusion, myself.
  5. I'm confused because I'm checking every single class i've inserted and their promotion and they all seem to work except for the Soldier -> Halberdier. Whenever I promote the soldier and if he's wielding a lance it crashes or glitches out. The weird thing is idk why but if I unequip the soldier and promote him it actually works correctly :v. Here's the promotion nightmare pointer thingy. The animation seems to be working correctly to me Help me
  6. If Wallace is Soldier, and Wil is Scout, would that mean Hausen is Redmond, Lundgren is Blutarch, and Hassar is Merasmus?
