  1. I'm making a small personal patch for FE8 (which I would be happy to release as an ips patch at some point if people are interested!) and one thing I want to do is make the Jump Festa event items available in the main game in some fashion, along with Alacalibur, the name of which I've already corrected to the clearly-intended Aircalibur. This in mind, if Aircalibur is to be used, the glitch in its animation that cuts the music off should obviously be fixed. Based on my admittedly rather limited knowledge of ROM hacking, it is something that seems like it would likely be caused by something simple, like an incorrect byte or two in the command list for the spell animation, but I don't actually know what I'd need to change, or to what, in order to fix the issue. Is it known what the source of this issue is? Have people fixed it before? Any help is much appreciated!
  2. Hello, before anything, thanks for any help, ans sorry for my bad english. Now i want the soudn when someone in My castle gives you an item, for using as a ringtone in my mobile, for apps like whatsapp :D if you can send me that sound, i will thank you, and if you can link me other SFX of Fates it will be better!!
  3. I probably sound really stupid for asking this but I don't know how to do it. How do I unlock the complete sound room in FE7 from the start of the game (100%)?
  4. UPDATE - 03.12.2016 Hello, I am currently working on a TRPG (tactical role-playing game) that I would like to release on hand-held consoles. So far I have made various 2D resources for the game, including animations, portraits and backgrounds. I have also written the entire script for the game. I am not just the 'idea guy', I work diligently to create something of good quality for others to enjoy. The story is original, interesting and best of all it is done. I designed a well-balanced class system that is reminiscent of other TRPG titles including Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, Ogre Battle and Fire Emblem. It is going to be an homage to these previous titles that were classics in their day. The game will evoke a feeling of nostalgia, reminiscent of games for the original Playstation, with old-school UI and 2D animations paired with 3D backgrounds and environments. I am looking for: My goal is to create a classic TRPG that will be remembered and enjoyed. I have no doubt that there are many people out there that want another new TRPG game. I know I do! If anyone is interested or has questions please respond to this topic or send me PM. Thank you readers, Shaman Credit to Rethel34 for providing sound effects and the songs used in this video.
  5. I guess I'll just say exactly what I want to do at this point - I'm programming a Fire Emblem fangame which isn't a hack, and I need sound effects for it. I have already managed to either find or rip most of the sound effects I need, but I'm still missing a good number of magic sound effects. Of course, I could just turn off the BGM and record them straight from the game, but in that case there will always be either a hit or a miss sound effect superimposed on the magic sound effect. I can't think of a situation where you would just hear the magic sound on its own. However, Yeti managed to do it somehow, so I guess it's possible somehow. (No, I can't just steal from Yeti.) If anyone cares, I particularly want the sounds for Aureola, Apocalypse, Excalibur, Luce, Gespenst and the S-Rank tomes from Sacred stones. Does anyone know how I can isolate and/or extract them?
