  1. This is my Fire Emblem Three Houses Information Compendium, gathered from a variety of different Sources. I highly recommend you give it a read, and leave your thoughts. Don't forget to share it with others who may not know about it, and possibly even content creators. I hope you enjoy it! read the Preface Please! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AcBHX8uVsYsJZUfa2j8KZlgrgBOHubVbd1rLzc2mUdI/edit?usp=sharing Update 1: I have added the Base Ranks and other things to do with Skill levels in the compendium. Any and all contributions would be wonderful. Progress on who si what class and what classes there are have been started on. Update 2: Added a class list with all classes shown right now.
  2. When I refer to "Special Edition", I'm referring to the Seasons Of Warfare or the Fodlan Collection. Although they have quite a bit different, I'm talking about the version available in your country. And uh, if your not in those countries, go with what version you would choose. Decided to make this because I'm curious what the consensus is on the Special Edition of FE16 compared to what people think of the previous Special Editions. Another last thing I will say is that I will be releasing a second topic a few days after the release to see how the opinion on the edition has changed, since we don't know the full OST yet. (Probably good though.) PS: Don't forget money
  3. Now we know of the war phase of Three Houses, and what the three house leaders will look like in this phase, who is everyone excited to see after the five-year gap?
  4. I bet Sothis will sit on her throne, once you've played through one of the houses.
  5. So since this wasn't brought up yet, do you think there'll be dlc (since Treehouse didn't mentioned it, this time) and what kind of dlc could you imagine?
  6. So I noticed in the pre-timeskip part of the trailer he has green eyes, this can be seen in the scene with him dancing and in a later scene that shows him with marks on his face. But post time-skip his eye is blue again, so I would guess the green eyes may have to do with why he wears an eyepatch. Anyone has any other guesses?
  7. So, I've noticed a few times, that the German FE fb account makes weird translations. Current case is this: They translate "worst in history" as lausigste der ganzen Geschichte (which would be "most lame/boring in whole history") And I've wondered, if other FE accounts do weird translations also?
  8. Sorry if it looks bad, graphic design isn't really my thing. All images from Famitsu. I would assume that you can jump around as much as you want so long as you meet the class requirements so it isn't really a tree. (i.e. If you had a myrmidon, you could train them in lances and riding to make them a cavalier.) I also don't expect there to be any way to reset your level back to 1, and you will instead just go from level 1 to level 40 or 50 depending on how long the game goes. (Similar to FE4.) *The skill icons represent what I believe to be the skills that you have to train to become that class, but not necessarily being the only weapons that class can use.
  9. We knew it all along, but Nintendo UK confirms, that the church is evil, via a sponsored advertisement. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=333186257395421&id=145686449478737 What do you all think?
  10. So, do you guys think it'll be censored for the West? Whether it'd be the "tea party", Raphaels underpants or anything else?
  11. I was thinking about how there are topics asking what house people will pick for their first playthrough of Three Houses and something occurred to me. We still aren't entirely sure what happens to the two houses that aren't picked. There have been speculations about the stories merging later or possibly the other two becoming enemies or rivals, but nothing has been confirmed quite yet. Which would you prefer; joining the party or enemies? And that brings up another question. Since there is so much customization for classes, do we still get to choose classes for the houses other than the one we pick? Or will those characters default to specific classes? There's a lot to think about and a lot to discuss here, so I'm hoping to hear everyone's thoughts!
  12. I've noticed a trend in people assuming Leicester's lack of a specific sovereign and rule by a "League of Nobles" means that they don't have an upperclass and possibly are more democratic than the other two nations. Unless there's been some poor wording in translation, here's why that's wrong. noble |ˈnōbəl| adjective ( nobler , noblest ) 1 belonging to a hereditary class with high social or political status; aristocratic: the Duchess of Kent and other noble ladies. 2 having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals: the promotion of human rights was a noble aspiration. • of imposing or magnificent size or appearance: entering the building with its noble arches and massive granite columns. • of excellent or superior quality. noun 1 (esp. in former times) a person of noble rank or birth. 2 historical a former English gold coin. It's almost certain, that in the instance, that the noble is the hereditary class. Ergo, this is a nation ruled by an upper class, as of course, one does not hold elections as to who holds noble rank. This is not a democracy, but rather a plutocracy. (Government by the wealthy). Does that mean it's an evil country? Not necessarily. It's very possible there are good people in those roles, after all, we've seen countless lords who are symbols of virtue through the series. Then again, for every one of them we've had lunatics like Zephiel and Ashnard. In real life it'd qualify as improbable for all those nobles to be benevolent, if not impossible but remember this is fiction. But what it does mean, is the commoner of Leicester is as dependent on someone else as a commoner in either other land. Of course, this whole theory could be blown out of the water if it were revealed that the nobles were elected officials there, but as I doubt it'll happen. Mind, of course, I'm not advising against selecting them. I'm fully intending to play through all three routes. I'm just positing some food for thought. Any discussion on how you think it could be handled, whether you think these are valid points or invalidated by IS' past games... well, you know where to discuss them.
  13. What do you think the canon classes might be for the students of the Three Houses, based on the weapon types shown to be used by each student so far, as well as their overall design?
  14. Pros and Cons of each of the Houses Black Eagles Pros: Probably has the best overall design of each student imo Linhardt (I still can’t get over that, I think that hilarious lol) The empire isn’t evil for once Black Eagles Cons: Almost everyone is choosing it Male characters are a little lackluster imo (except for Ferdinand, I think the boys are a little ugly in Black Eagles so rip if you’re looking for a good husbando) Blue Lions Pros: The color blue (it’s my favorite, don’t @ me) Sylvain is 10/10 best boy We haven’t seen the full cast of the Blue Lions but if they look like the few we’ve seen, we should be fine Blue Lions Cons: Dimitri’s hair Part of a Holy Kingdom so may be connected to the Church of Seiros? Golden Deer Pros: Claude Seems to be the most misfit/outcast-esque group so far, at least design wise so if you want a cast like that, Golden Deer seems to be for you We haven’t seen the full cast of the Golden Deers so the others might look better Golden Deer Cons: Everyone other than Claude and Hilda doesn't look that great imo Yellow isn't that great of a color imo And this is just everything that I personally like or dislike about the houses so far. As of right now, Blue Lions is looking like the one I’m gonna be picking but there’s a lot I like about Black Eagles too so maybe it’ll change. Rip Golden Deer though, they seem to be the ones that are getting cucked the most since I’ve seen no one talk about wanting to choose them. But what are your guys thoughts on the houses as of now?
  15. Is anyone excited to be able to bang our students? Sounds like something straight out of a harem anime. Fire Emblem meets High School DxD. Also, where will the children come from? The future? Deeprealms? Adoption? Timeskip? Divine intervention?
  16. So, I'm sure we are all well aware of how...split this community was about Fire Emblem's run on the 3DS. In the time I've observed this community, I've noticed that a good amount of pessimism in regards to Three Houses and the future of the series, namely from the old guard (no shade intended). What I want to know is, are any of you worried about Three Houses? Do you have any hope at all for Fire Emblem's first debute on the Switch?
  17. What game mechanics should make a return in Three Houses? Or add your own ideas! Go hogwild!
  18. As the title says: when do you think we'll get more information about Three Houses?
  19. I know that a lot of people want a Jugdral games remake, well it looks like Three Houses is actually partly hinting at the Jugdral games. Just look at the map, and the three main characters's first names. It's really hard to see and you need a bit of knowledge too... Also, another tought, the game might have multiple endings, but I don't mean 3. It could be 6 or more, and I don't mean for it to be like in Fates, where the endgames are radically different. Just an unpopular thought.
  20. I'm not even gonna pretend I don't still watch the trailer a few times per week, I'm that obssessive when it comes to Fire Emblem. But I just watched the trailer again and this time I noticed something new! So, when Byleth (who I believe is the avatar given that you can choose what Edelgard should train in the trailer and she follows his orders in the map and stuff) does a critical at the end of the trailer, you can see he doesn't even open his mouth or attemps to show an expression or anything even though he's doing a critical. Look: https://ibb.co/i2SHKy Like it's already weird he doesn't at least change his expression, even the most serious characters in awafates do it, and Byleth is not just whatever unit. But the thing is he never opens his mouth, meaning he doesn't say anything during the critical. He also doesn't talk here: https://ibb.co/iS5bCJ That's kinda like in MyCastle from Fates but it still looks weird when looking at the rest of the trailer and at Byleth's never-changing expression through the whole of it. So, I think we'll be getting a silent avatar! And similar to Mark! What do you think?!
  21. What are your thoughts on the characters we've seen so far? Do you like the designs/art style? What do you think their personalities will be? What are your hopes for any yet to be revealed characters? Personally I really like the art style and the designs we've seen so far! Though, Claude is my favourite. #TeamClaude I like Edelgard and Byleth as well and I don't even dislike Dimitri's design :P As for the other characters I have high hopes! Or at least high optimism. The consensus seems to be that the character artist is Kurahana Chinatsu who designed the characters for Uta no Prince-sama. I'm a fan of her art but I do wonder how varied her designs can actually get in terms of differing body types. I'm excited to find out though.
  22. This is just my take on it from what I gathered with the trailer! The description says this is a country ruled by the church of Seiros, who was the woman who received a gift by the goddess, meaning the kingdom is a theocracy. First, it seems a lot of people think the lady at the beginning with the dragon crown is the goddess herself, but if you take a look at her clothes, you'll notice they're identical to the ones Seiros is wearing on the painting: Meaning the lady is actually the descendant of Seiros or Seiros herself, and that along with the crown means she's the queen ruling over this kingdom, since, as the description says, the kingdom is ruled by the church of Seiros. Now this queen is clearly at war with some other people with some barbaric designs; one of them even tried to attack her and a soldier stopped him. It can be assumed some are not happy with the church ruling over them, which is of course to be expected. But what I noticed through the trailer is that our three key characters (Edelgarde, Claude and Dimitri) are also shown fighting against the kingdom. Dimitri and Claude are shown fighting against an unit called "Kingdom soldier", whose design correspond with the same one who was defending the queen. Edelgarde, on the other hand, is seen fighting against Mercedes, whose clothes look to me kind of like that of a nun, and her overall design fits better that of the church than that of the enemies with their barbaric designs: Then we have Edelgarde talking about what a horrible world it was, and she says: "some believe the crests, tokens of the goddess' power, are necessary to maintain order. But they're wrong. The crests are to blame." Meaning she doesn't agree with the church at least partially. She would later warn her teacher that if they're to follow "this path", one misstep would take them to ruin. And speaking about the teacher. His name is Byleth, which is another name for Beleth, the king of Hell, who had a vast knowledge and the ability to command legions, which agrees with him both being a teacher and a tactician, so it's not a coincidence. But the fact it comes from a demon lord makes it ideal for him to be the one going against the church and the goddess it serves. Byleth can be seen fighting against a kingdom soldier too, with a design also seen before: So what I want to make clear is that, maybe not at the beginning, but at some point, our three key characters will be on the same side, fighting the church, so it's not like Fates in which you choose sides, and it will not be a war against the houses, but against the church. Also, since Edelgard represents Spring (according to the japanese title, which is Four Seasons), it will probably start with her, then we'll get Claude (Autumn) at our side and lastly, Dimitri (Winter). As for the queen, I don't mean to say she's evil. Maybe she's wrong, or waiting for something, it's happened in past games. But it did striked me as weird that she, who looks so benevolent, like Elice or Emmeryn or something, shows no sign of sadness or pain while watching the massacre unfolding around her, her face doesn't even show seriousness or severity, nothing. It doesn't mean much now, just that it's weird. Sorry for the links instead of the images, and for any grammatical errors, since English is not my first language. And well... that's my take. If all of this was already discussed somewhere, I'm sorry, I get lost easily! If not, I would love to talk about it, your own thoughts and theories, I just want to talk about this game so bad haha. Thank you for reading!
  23. Since the old Fire Emblem Switch Leaks thread probably won't be used much anymore, I'm starting a Wild Mass Guessing thread for Three Houses. Here are mine to start with: Dimitri's kingdom invades Edelguard's at some point The teacher is connected to the villains LOVE TRIANGLE (for who gets Claude) Roster will consist of about 40 characters. My exact guess is 37, not including DLC.
  24. Since the latest Nintendo Direct shown that there is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. title happened today and the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch system on 2018. But, we haven't seen any footages nor any characters revealed for the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title and they haven't shown the Fire Emblem Switch title in today's Direct. I'm guessing that we could see Alm (he does use a bow since he does use a bow in his Hero class on Gaiden and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and it would avoid use the Plain Swordsman category since what happened to Chrom when he was going to be planned during at Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U) or probably add Celica since Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia was released last year and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia did managed to sold well outside of Japan and it did managed to outsold Pokemon Sun and Moon's numbers since May as one of the Top 10 Best Selling Nintendo 3DS games. However, since the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title is coming to the same year as the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title, but we have no idea which games is going to be coming out first. I totally think the Fire Emblem Switch protagonist is probably going to be showing up either as an Unlockable Newcomer similar to like Roy in Super Smash Bros. Melee since Roy's game The Binding Blade did released after Super Smash Bros. Melee or he/she will might show up as a DLC Newcomer similar to like Corrin since Fire Emblem Fates did released after Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. I don't think it would make any sense and we don't exactly know if he/she will show up as a default fighter since his/her game is going to be coming this year if the Fire Emblem Switch title as well as the Super Smash Bros. Switch title and we still don't have a single release date confirmed other than confirmed 2018 for both of these titles. I know that Sakurai did add Roy and Corrin to the roster as Unlockable, DLC, vice versa since Sakurai did said he's a big fan of the Fire Emblem series and I totally think we could see the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch protagonist being appearing for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Switch title sometime during at the development. What do you guys think how will the protagonist of the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title will show up for the upcoming Nintendo Switch title of Super Smash Bros.? I'm pretty sure we could see some or a few Nintendo related characters (like any ARMS characters, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, etc.) who debut from the Nintendo Switch games that were released around 2017 through early or mid 2018 will might show up for upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch either as default, unlockable, or even DLC newcomers. Edit: The E3 Presentation and the latest Nintendo Direct confirms the new title for both games revealed to be as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for December 9, 2018 and Fire Emblem: Three Houses is now set to Spring 2019 instead of 2018.
