I've watched a fair amount of standup, usually while doing homework, haven't really seen it talked about much here, figured I might as well throw a thread about it out there So just to get the ball rolling, I'm gonna recommend something I watched just yesterday, actually, two sets from Daniel Sloss that are on Netflix, just released a couple days ago. Very dark, but very sincere in spite of that (think like, old Bill Burr routines, but focused on a central metaphor), its the only time I can think of where something has made me laugh and cry so hard within the same hour.

Does anyone know where I can find the Title/Logo Font? I wanted to make a little thingy and it wold be nice to have it.

The Lycian League using Marquis/Marquess as the default title for all its members doesn't really fit. A Marquess is usually the title given to a noble who has land on the border of the country/kingdom, which is called a March. So a Marquess is a literal edgelord. Some of the Marquesses in FE6/7 seem to land on the border, but many of them are inland as well, so they would not be marquesses by this definition. It always bothered me that they used this particular title over say Duke or Count/Earl/Jarl, which would make more sense, for a league of nobles in a loosely associated country. History buffs may have examples of the title of Marquess being used differently, but I find this title is being misused here.

I'm editing the title screen on my rom hack however I want to stop the class reel from happening. I found out this was possible with the "rekka no ken title screen patch" (I think its by nintendlord) but when I apply the patch amd load up my rom the title screen glitches and then I get the "scream of death" (when the screen freezes and then produces a horrible screeching noise). Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my rom?

So it's been a few years since I last played this game and... well.... I just felt like playing it. Not much to say here really, couldn't think of an opening or anything... Well this is my first time playing with the translation patch(kind of, I played ahead a bit on a different file right before this), so let's get to it. [spoiler=Let's see just how many prologues a game can have] Title screen or something. Doing hard mode because that's just how I roll. So a couple days I asked some people for avatar suggestions. The only one I really liked was a bald heal bot named Tonton, but I decided against it. I usually play as the male character when I have the choice, But as that's what I went with on my other file, I wanted to try something different. Same reason I went Myrm instead of Cavalier. The first of many. So the game starts and we are introduced to Katarina. "No, I want to become an Altean Swordmaster." Yes, "serve" Prince Marth. Truly a legend in the making. Didn't get a screen of Rody but he didn't say anything interesting anyway. Even in retirement, Jagen keeps his manly shoulder spikes. "...Should we tell him that there's only eight?" I don't know why, most of the competition appears to consist of two lolsoldiers, a lolarcher, and a cleric. Then why did you join the knight program? You know something doesn't seem right here. We're up. That defense is not suited for tanking at all. Which is why I end up doing such later on. Clearly. In other news, soldiers still suck. Boss time Boss time over Oh boy first level up... I'll take it. "I didn't know how I could prevail against such fearsome opponents." At least she admits her uselessness. Oh hai Marth What version of Shadow Dragon did you play? Last I checked, the Wing Spear and its Caeda were the heroes who ended the war. Even in retirement, Jagen strikes fear into people's hearts. But will Ashlynn and Katarina ever become knights? But yes, I'm starting a new hack. Now, now. Calm down. All of this forum's complaining members will jump on me and talk about how bad it will be and how It'll never be good and how it's not creative. I know that. And I probably agree with them. But, you know, I've gotta start somewhere. Basically I've got a lot of plot planned out, and one of the largest themes is: And no, I'm not a Shaman hater. In fact I'm anything but. But yes, basically the first half focuses on this band of thieves and the main character is a new recruit to the team. I'm going to need some learning in terms of eventing and things like that, wish me luck. Thanks for reading.
