  1. Those of you who like Digital copies of games and were worried you'd get gipped out of the revamped first title http://wiiudaily.com/2014/07/bayonetta-2-retail-download/
  2. This thread is to speculate about the various possible alterations to our favorite moves. We know all of Mario's currently, one of Kirbies (Ice Breath neutral B) a few on other characters by name and one of Links Not to mention all of Palutenas and Miis variety. So what do you think we'll see and what do you WANT to see
  3. Source: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/03/03/ps4-hits-6-million-ushers-in-new-era-of-social-gameplay/ http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/library/historical_data/pdf/consolidated_sales_e1312.pdf So yeah, this says a lot about how successful the ps4 is (and how much of a failure the Wii U is). Keep in mind that the 5.8 Mi. Wii U are shipped to stores, while the 6 Mi. PS4 are sold to consumers.
  4. What demons would the fe cast be carrying around for if you had to fight them? If they happened to get their hands on the summoning program that is. The current confirmed Fe characters to consider are Marth, Caeda, Roy, Lilina, Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Eirika, Ephraim, Ike, Elincia, Sothe, Micaiah, Lucina, Chrom
  5. We know its going to be an RPG of sorts but what kind? RPG has so many sub genre possibilities. Turn based? Strategy? Action? Just what will it be? We could be seeing something entirely new too Heck we've seen a Platformer RPG (Super Mario RPG) and Beat em up RPGs too (River City Ransom, Scott Pilgrim Video Game)
  6. So, anyone else see this in today's Nintendo Direct? At first glance, I thought it was an MMO with how things looked, but I'm not entirely sure that'll be the case. Either way, I thought it looked FUN. I mean, Link really stepped it up and took a level of badass here. Chucking bombs like crazy, crashing through a veritable army? I mean, seriously, that looks awesome!
  7. James Anderson, who works at IS as a programmer, has revealed in his Linkedin account he's currently working on an unannounced Wii U title. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/james-anderson/24/7/ba4 Start speculating!
  8. I have three different radical ideas for future Fire Emblem games, but since I don't want to flood the forum with three new topics in a short amount of time, I have consolidated these ideas into a single topic. Also, feel free to share your own radical ideas. Spinning off Fire Emblem Awakening into a separate subseries. This newly spun-off subseries will inherit gameplay mechanics such as the custom Avatar, Second Seals, a traversable world map, unlimited grinding, branching promotions, etc. Meanwhile, the "main" subseries will feature a more "traditional" gameplay system. The main downside is the extra development costs in maintaining two parallel subseries, unless they only make one FE at a time, alternating between the two subseries, which would defeat the whole purpose of a separate FEA subseries except with regards to branding. Having an army composed entirely of player-made custom characters. Instead of having an army of premade, developer-created characters with the occasional custom Avatar, how about an entire army of custom, player-created characters? I came up with this idea as a possible solution to end the shipping wars. Incorporating Skylanders-type figures as an optional feature of the game. When I was watching a video about the Nintendo 2DS, an unboxing video for collectable Pokemon Rumble U figures was in the suggested videos column. The suggestion's thumbnail piqued my interest, so I decided to click on it. When I watched the video, I learned that Pokemon Rumble U had a feature similar to Skylanders and the upcoming Disney Infinity, and I also learned about a feature of the Wii U that I didn't even know existed: that the Wii U GamePad had a built-in Skylanders-type scanner. After watching the video, I thought, what if something similar was incorporated into a Wii U FE game as an optional feature? FE Skylanders-type figures could be used to unlock new characters, new character classes, and/or boost the stats of existing characters. So, what do you guys think? If Intelligent Systems decides to implement a combination of the above ideas, idea #2 and idea #3 can be reconciled by having the FE figures unlock einherjar, powerful pregens, new classes for existing characters, and/or stat boosts for existing characters.
  9. http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/08/17/another-pokemon-game-could-be-coming-to-wii-u Yeah, it looks that another console Pokemon game may be upon us. It looks like another Stadium type game, but wouldn't it be awesome if it were something more like Coliseum or XD? It's just a single screenshot.
  10. http://uk.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/PS4_vs._Xbox_One_vs._Wii_U_Comparison_Chart For me, the Wii U is a must. The next Zelda (probably), SSB4 and Fire Emblem calling is very. However it's a tossup between PS4 and One for me. Back in the day when PS3 and 360 were newish, I got the 360 for the sole reason that Ace Combat 6 was not available on the PS3. But I was happy with the Wii60 combo. While the next Ace Combat is going to play a heavy role towards which of these two consoles I'll be getting, the coverage One has been receiving to date has been nearly completely negative. I will have to wait for the complete details of both of these consoles before making a final decision. But for now, it's probably 4U for me.
  11. Guys. GUYS. This is what everyone's been hoping for. Well, at least I hope you've been hoping for this. :P Nintendo finally released Earthbound on the VC today- or yesterday, I think. On the Wii U, no less. http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/82s5n1dbV4gstayVNhVYtOneSXTIXACS Fans have been begging for this forever, and Nintendo has finally done it. T'is a truly glorious moment, indeed. And it's only $10. Perhaps this could somehow encourage Nintendo to release Mother 3 in NA somehow. Maybe.
  12. After the successes of Unleashed, Colours/Colors, and Generarions. Sega is now working on their newest Sonic game for the Wii U and 3DS. It's looking promising, and a little like the old canceled Sonic Xtreme in some ways. Looks fun and it may be my jumping on point to the Wii U alongside Smash 4. The Wall running ability looks fun to use, reminds me of SA1 where you could do that freely. Also do I see a lack of boost? That's interesting. Then again parts do look like a smaller scale boost. I would like no extreme anti-sonic bias in this thread if you please. Because I know how some people get when Sonic is even mentioned in some places.
  13. Source http://gamingbolt.co...-revealed-at-e3 Get excited everyone, and let more speculation begin! I remember making my own list of possible characters in this little thing of mine.. if you want to see it then look here http://jedisupersonic.deviantart.com/#/d4qoziv But I will probably re-think my ideas here. This was just random smash hype mode about a year ago for me.
