Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for a long time, (maybe 4 or 5 years?) I think this account has been just sitting up and collecting dust for a while, I finally got some time for an introduction: I'm Fates Blade, a hacker who's currently working on some projects, with the most interesting one for now probably being Fire Emblem Fates: Upgraded which I plan to post on this forum, that's about it. Hey there everyone! My name is Lucas and I've been around Serenes Forest for a while, typically just using it as a resource for the games, as well as a resource for finding other Fire Emblem related content, but now I figure is as good a time as any to start trying to be a part of the community in some way, shape, or form. As for a little bit about me, I'm a 24 year old Canadian currently living in the U.K. trying to give my career a kick start and have a little fun while I'm here. As for my Fire Emblem experience, I'm by no means a total expert in the intricacies of the games, but I enjoy them nonetheless and I'd say I'm at least somewhat tactically savvy. My first Fire Emblem game was FE7 from back in middle school, which still remains my favourite installment to date. Not to say I haven't enjoyed the others. I also really like the Tellius games and Echoes. And Heroes, for a different kind of gameplay. I like to challenge myself with different kinds of challenges, but usually ones that get me to use characters that I wouldn't normally use or leave out ones that I would. I'm not one to jump straight into Lunatic mode. Maybe one day lol. I also like to write and have an Awakening fanfiction on the go which I've kind of lost a bit of motivation to continue but hopefully posting on the appropriate forum for that will spark my creative juices again. Well, at last, I make my introduction (fully six months late, by my reckoning). I am @Sigismund of Luxemburg. I love Fire Emblem, and have seriously played all the games from Mystery to Stones (although I have yet to finish any of them). I've also made it a point to know as much lore as I possibly can regarding the other games, notably 9 thru 12. I also play Heroes (if my schedule allows). Other games I enjoy include the RTS games made by Paradox Interactive, the Total War series, Pokemon, Warhammer, and any and all election simulators. Non-gaming things I enjoy include academics, chemistry, math, politics, philosophy, music (especially video game/classical), geography and linguistics. Parler en langues étrangères, ich mag es sehr. To jedna z moich rozrywek. Sorry for being so late to introduce myself. I hope to have fun and post a lot!

like most dorms mine also has thin walls, so you can hear people talking from the living room from my bedroom. its a problem when its 4 at night and my suitemates arent asleep. sometimes i go out, since if i cant beat them, i might as well join them. they are not as tired as i am since they have afternoon classes. couldnt join them for too long as i was super tired so i come into my room plug in my charger, plug my headphones to my phones and slept with this in my ear. woke up with it still playing

Hiya you can call me pink :). I've been a long time fan of this site but never made an account until may 19. I'm a big fan of fire emblem since I was kid and currently working on a hack FE7.It;s driving me crazy XD. I'm stuck on a couple of things, so I've had to stop sadly. Hopefully I can find out how to get unstuck soon so I can get back to it. Very happy to join the forums, and hope I can be of some help, and get some help back as well. I notice it's been really quiet lately around here. Where did everybody go o.o? I love to edit and Photoshop pictures. It's a favorite hobby of mine. Is there a forum here that people request for that? Perhaps someone would want it for a game or something. No claiming it as there own though. I don't do anything related to that. If it's anything other then that and following the rules then I'd be happy to help.

I am really new. Like, reeeaaaally new~ My name is Ivan, nice to meet everyone! So, I found this neat new app recently, and now I got completely obsessed. All the characters have voices, and quotes, and quirky personalities?? Awesome! My first good hero was Corrin male, and finding out about him, I got into Fates, it was so cool! Then I battled against this new hero a while later that seemed intriguing... Later, I got them, as 4☆, and heard their quotes. And then my recent decision to get a crow soon doubled in desire. Now you can probably guess who they are! (Profile entirety.) I also dragged in friends, too, who even dressed up as Robin and Marth on another game we play~ I have fanfiction ideas sprouting, headcanons, ship conversations, fan art, and other plot taguels running rampant in my head, like crazy! I cannot wait to get to cosplaying this, nya ha ha~! (When I get the money, time, and... company.) Hopefully I can make some friends in this fandom, too! Hello everyone, I signed up a few days ago and I've been posting a tad, but I thought I'd give myself a more formal introduction. To quote my about me profile page, "I've never been on a forum of any kind before, so let's hope I don't screw this up." I got into Fire Emblem a little over a year ago, played FE7 on the Wii U, and now I've played every game from Binding Blade and up (not counting Scared Stones.... I'll get on that eventually). But yeah, my favourite FE games are the Tellius games, because holy damn they are so good. But I really have loved every FE game I've played. Some of my favourite characters, as you can probably tell are Roy, Ike and Female Robin. And I do have ships... but I don't want people to force their ships down my throat, so I don't really want to force mine down theirs (respect). So the interesting part, I'm super curious as to what other people's Fire Emblem collection is like? This is my collection so far, I'm insane so I needed psychical copies in the box of all the games I've played, inserts and instruction booklets included. So what does everyone else have? It could be anything really, including figurines, A VHS of that terrible 2 episode anime they made :P My cousin got a tattoo of Lucina's quote, "I say when it ends." Please let me know, I'm very interested.

I made this because Shovel Knight is fun and haven't made an FFtF topic before. Interested to see how it is~ My favorite is probably Plague Knight or Mole Knight's stage. Plague Knight because of the cauldron platforms and Mole Knight because of the bouncy platform puzzles. My least favorite is Treasure Knight's stage because of the angler fish part. I haven't played Tinker Knight's stage or anything past that, by the way. So what do you guys think? -

Online friends: I have like 2 Favourite music: I listen almost every genre except these two: cumbia, reggeaton, sadly those genre is everywhere in my country Favourite artist/band: The birthday massacre, Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, Within Temptation, Neon trees, A Perfect Circle, Bon Jovi, the list could go forever... Hello everyone, I've been wondering for a while about everyone's political views so I decided to make a thread about it. I'd like to know about your overall ideas and ideology, what your views and opinions on currently important issues are, and on issues that are important to you but maybe not everyone else. Please be careful as I do not intend this to be a discussion or debate topic but as a reaction topic where everyone more or less minds their own post. Considering the topic we're dealing with I'd like to formalize the meanings behind some oft-used terms to try and end up with as little misunderstandings as we can. conservatism is broad a term that refers to a desire to keep things the way they are, both socially and politically, e.g. traditional values, ideologies and institutions. Conservatives want to preserve the things that they think are good A subgroup of this is so-called reactionary, which aims to turn things back into "the way they were". progressivism is a broad term that refers to the idea that change in science, politics, economy and social organization can improve the human condition. The central idea is that societies should develop and implement 'better' policies when it can to progress humanity to a better state. socialism in it's current West-European context stands for a political ideology that a state should care for its citizenry and try to maintain at least a certain level of quality of life for all, as well as improve living standards in general. The reason for this can be because it is considered 'good' or because empiric evidence says it improves living conditions (and that is considered good). All welfare states are to a degree socialist. Socialistic policy often uses financial law to try and curb the excesses of free market economy for more stability. liberalism is a philosophy based on liberty and equality. Liberalism in it's current-day West-European context stands for individualism (the right to stand out from a crowd and not be negatively affected by it) and laissez-faire economical and social policy. Liberalism assumes liberty and equality bring up the best in human nature, and the philosophy may find it necessary in practice to use state policy to safeguard the liberty and equality of all citizenry. libertarianism is a series of political philosophies that value liberty above all else. Libertarianism seeks to maximize autonomy, personal choice and primacy of personal judgment. So write away! I'll write up my own ideas at a later time.

... So just in case anyone was waiting, here's my intro thread! I've been playing Fire Emblem since FE8, but the announcement of FE14 reignited my interest in the series after taking a bit of a break. I had made an account back in 2012 because I had been interesting in discussing the then upcoming Awakening, but I kind of contented myself to lurk. This time, I plan on actually putting some input into various threads instead of merely reading what other people think. While there are some things about the next game that have put me off a little (pair up plz nooooo...), a new game in of itself is always exciting! Along with Fire Emblem, I've dipped my toes in all sorts of other things. I play a lot of other strategy, fighting, and RPG games. Also, while I'm not a big MOBA fan, I do play Awesomenauts (if anyone around here even knows about that game). I watch shows like Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Super Sentai, and plenty of anime (particularly mecha). I dabble in composing, so if I feel comfortable with it and I learn more of the ins and outs of GBA midi, I may try to contribute to the hacking scene. Also, if anyone around here builds Gunpla, I do that as well. I, like I'm sure many of you do, have a deep affection for the series. I'm looking forward to hanging around here a bit more often!

Or topic. Whatever you kids want to call it. This is a thread... This is a thread. A new addition to the other 43,000 something threads. I only have one favour to ask of you, and that would be to let this thread die in peace when the time comes. This thread has no purpose of being here, though I brought it into existence. This is not a very good thread, and I did not intend to make it so. So thinking back on it, Serenes Forest was, and still is here through the last 6 years and 194 days. That's quite some time... What if Serenes Forest did not come into existence? Most of us probably would never have met, and we'd all be doing something else. It might not be something productive, but it's something else. How many people did you befriend in this forum, and how many people do you think dislike you? Are there people you'd like to meet in person that you met in this forum? Who in this forum do you like the most? How about the least? Many questions could be asked, but little would be answered. I'm not very sure on what I'm trying to talk about here. Maybe I just want to rant, maybe there's a purpose to this. Maybe I'm bored and have nothing better to do so I'm typing whatever comes to mind. The answer is unknown. Well, whatever. I have nothing more to say here, now I shall go and post on other threads that have more importance than this one. This is a thread.

hey if cafe can make like 80 threads that are like this why can't I. But it's awesome because it has windows 8 on it(Yes most people hate it but it's windows at least). And the best part is you guys will no longer have to hear me whine about how my os sucks and how can't do anything on it. (You will be familiar with it if you go on ip chat) And the best part is that it's amazing. I am going from 2 gigs of ram to 8 gigs of ram. you can also hear me stop whining on how i want path of radiance so bad and you guys are so lucky that you have it! Sorry IS but por is simply to expensive. And for some reason i need linux i have a virtual machine! Sorry for this pointless thread but i was so happy that i couldn't resist myself.
