This is the long-frothingly-anticipated sequel to Kirby Mafia, a mafia game that happened. It uses a special mechanic called Choose Someone Else's Role, so be sure to read the set-up info before signing up! Additionally, this game adds RNGed numbers, also detailed in the mechanics section. Just read the post before signing up it'll be worth your time I promise. It's not like this is EiMM. Rules: - I'm the mod and my word is final. Don't do anything that you expect will annoy me, even if it's not in the rules. This includes looking for loopholes. - No Outside Contact, keep the talking to the game thread unless your role allows otherwise. - Don't directly intefere with the game if you're dead or not playing - if you're going to talk to other players or post in-thread I expect everything you say to have no game relevance whatsoever. Also, do not talk about the game to other players (dead or living) while deceased unless both of you have received a link to the graveyard quicktopic. The graveyard will contain a list of players who have access to it in the OP. - Don't directly quote communications with the mod unless given permission. This includes your Role PM. - Going 24 hours without a post nets you a prod. Going 48 hours without a post or receiving too many prods may result in a modkill or force-sub depending on how I feel at the time. - Don't screenshot anything outside the game thread. - Don't edit your posts. - Don't post after hammer. - If you get yourself modkilled, you lose the game and your alignment may be subject to further punishment to circumvent any advantage your death could result in. - Have good integrity. This includes not being a dick. - Play to win. Mechanics: - Day 1 start, killing actions may not be used during this time. - Night talk is allowed on Night 1 only. After Night 1 players may not speak at night unless their role allows otherwise. - 72 hour days, 24 hour nights. - Majority (half living players rounded down + 1) is required to lynch. No Majority results in a No Lynch the first time, and a universal loss the second. No Lynch may not be voted. - You will be told whether your action failed or not, but not what caused it to fail (as a general note, this accounts for stuff like roleblocker / safeguard / etc., a kill attempt that failed because the target was doc'd will still be considered successful). You will also be told if your action was redirected. - Killing roles get infinite no-kills. - LYLO and MYLO are not announced. Set-up Info: - This is a Choose Someone Else's Role game! At the start of the game, all 14 roles are set, but unassigned. After the Day 1 lynch target flips, twilight will start and the lynchee will pick another player and assign them a role from the List of Copy Abilities. That player will then assign a different player a role, and so on until everyone has a role. Each role may only be assigned once. Role assignment is to be done openly in thread, but people are not allowed to post anything other than role assignments during the twilight phase. - This game has semi-open numbers! Pregame, the numbers of the set-up are RNGed between 11 townies : 2 mafia A : 2 mafia B, 11 townies : 3 mafia : 1 ITP, and 11 townies : 4 mafia. In the case of 11:3:1, the ITP will be a SK with a 1-shot factional bulletproof. In 11:2:2, parity between two mafias will result in no winners, but in 11:3:1, a SK will endgame an opposing mafia member. - All players are on the player list. - Players may request that anonymous day actions be used at a specific time in advance for whatever reason (not wanting to be caught on the online list, not being available when they need to use it, etc). - Cardflips will contain a pretty picture, name, alignment & role name and phase of death. Cardflips will never lie to you. - You can only use one active ability per night unless the circumstances allow otherwise. - If your role PM doesn't say you can self-target, you can't. - There are no Jesters in this game. List of Copy Abilities: - Archer, Ninja / Watcher (actions can't be seen by investigative abilities. learns who target was targeted by, but this action fails if target dies that night) - Beetle, Bulletproof (1-shot) - Bell, Echofinder (target may not use any forms of OC communication they have for the following day) - Bomb, Mayor (targets a player at night, placing an extra vote lasting the following day) - Circus, Jack of All Trades (has a simultaneous Comparision Cop+Network, a Commute and a Safeguard) - Fire, Insomniac (talks at night) - Hammer, Vigilante (1-shot, day) - Stone, Ascetic (can be targeted by kills) - Spear, Strong-Willed / Bodyguard (actions can't be redirected or roleblocked, dies instead of its target if its target is set to die that night) - Whip, Empowerer (target can't be redirected or roleblocked that night) - Wing, Tracker (learns who its target targeted) - Mix, mystery roles #1, #2 and #3!
