  1. Does anyone got all three in less than 100 hours? Been playing my file for more than 90 and haven’t got even one... have had farmed inner sanctum for a long time and Thabes and still nothing. On Thabes I usually get a few rusted weapons but they are normally venim weapons. Do you have any tips?
  2. I know that Fire Emblems legendary weapons aren't exactly famed for having deep histories, but I'm seriously curious if there is any background or lore for Valentia's supposed legendary weapons: Astra, Sol, and Luna. Unlike other games in the series, where you get the weapons over the course of the story or by filling a side objective, in both the original Gaiden and the remake, the legendary weapons are random drops from enemies that have a ridiculously low chance of spawning, and in Echoes you have to spend a few gold pieces to forge the rusted weapons. The most I could find is an award description in Echoes saying that they are relics from the distant past, and they do have similar designs in Echoes, but other than that I couldn't find anything else about them. It doesn't help that their weapon types and visual design has changed from game to game. So again, I'm curious; Do Astra, Sol, and Luna have any lore or background somewhere, or are they really just as mysterious as their reward says?
  3. I want to give my Sol Manual to someone that cannot use swords in FE5. Will it ever proc that way? Also, I don't think the sword skills can work with non-swords in FE4, but I'm not sure about FE5. Help please?
  4. Seeing how the game is soon coming out here in the West I'm starting to take notes on things, like who I want to marry and such. I plan on going with Conquest first, and eventually will marry Luna, Marx, Odin, Effie, Flora and Leon. I haven't looked up things like classes, stats and similar things so I would like some thoughts on those pairings, how to use the kids you get, classes for everybody etc.
  5. Hey guys, I was just asking myself: is Luna a good mom? who should she be with? that 25% skill doesn't help although her class set is fairly good... I was planning to marry her to Marx (for him to go Hero-->Sol) but Charlotte also offers this possibility, plus better growths for Siegbert and the speed bonus for Marx.
  6. Luna. A mercenary of Nohr; Camilla’s subordinate. Her origins and past are a complete mystery. An exceptionally sore loser, but also a hard-working genius who tries hard to match her talent. She also has a friendly side, which often catches her companions off-guard. The biggest squanderer. [spoiler=Marriage/Buddy Seals] Spoiler (Marriage/Buddy Seals) A Marriage/Buddy seal allows a unit to reclass into one of the select class trees of his spouse (S support) or buddy (A+ support). A unit may only achieve an S support with units of the opposite gender (exc. Kamui, Syalla, Zero), and may only achieve an A+ support with units of the same gender. (The credit for the following information goes to Gayserbeam, as I copied the wording of his explanation. Check out the Class Changing and Inheritance Thread for more information. If the users Primary Class is different than their Spouses/Buddy's Primary Class, then the Marriage/Buddy Seal will reclass them to the Spouses/Buddy's Primary Class, even if the user has that class as a Secondary Class already. If the users Primary Class is the same as their Spouses/Buddy's Primary Class, then the Marriage/Buddy Seal will reclass them to the Spouses/Buddy's Secondary Class. If the user is married or buddied with a unit who has an unlearnable class, then the Marriage/Buddy Seal will reclass them to the Spouses/Buddy's Secondary Class. An unlearnable class is a class that may be unique to a character or their children. The following units have unlearnable classes: Nishiki (Fox Spirit), Flannel (Garou), Azura (Singer), Mozume (Villager). If the user is married or buddied with a unit who has an unlearnable class, and their Primary Class is the same as their Spouses/Buddy's Secondary Class, then the Marriage/Buddy Seal will reclass them to the Spouses/Buddy's Substitute Class. A Substitute Class is simply a select class a character with an unlearnable class passes down under certain circumstances. The following units have Substitute Classes: Nishiki (Herb Merchant), Flannel (Outlaw), Azura (Rod Knight), Mozume (Herb Merchant). If you're still confused, let me use Luna as an example to try and clarify matters! Luna/Zero: Luna's Primary Class is Mercenary, and Zero's is Outlaw. Therefore, Luna would Marriage Seal into Outlaw.Luna/Subaki: Luna's Primary Class is Mercenary, and Subaki's is Pegasus Warrior. Therefore, Luna would Buddy Seal into Pegasus Warrior. As Luna's Secondary Class is Pegasus Warrior, he would not receive a new class tree from Subaki. Luna/Lazward: Luna's Primary Class is Mercenary, and Lazward's is Mercenary. Therefore, Luna would Marriage Seal into Lazward's Secondary Class-- Ninja. Luna/Flannel: As Flannel's Primary Class is Garou, an unlearnable class, Luna would Marriage Seal into his Secondary Class-- Fighter. Luna/Mercenary!Avatar: Avatar's Primary Class is Nohr Prince, an unlearnable class. Luna's Primary Class is Mercenary, and Avatar's Secondary Class is Mercenary. Therefore, Luna would Marriage Seal into his Substitute Class-- Samurai. [spoiler=Possible Classes] Classes in black are ones Luna can only achieve in either the Conquest or the Revelation campaign. Classes in blue are ones Luna can only achieve in the Revelation campaign. Base Classes (4H, 8N, 12T) Bowman Cavalier Dark Mage Fighter Knight Mercenary Ninja Outlaw Pegasus Warrior Rod Knight Samurai Wyvern Rider Promoted Classes (7H, 13N, 20T) Adventurer Berserker Bow Knight Brave Hero Dark Knight Falcon Warrior General Golden-Kite Warrior Great Knight Holy Bowman Jonin Maid Paladin Puppeteer Revenant Knight Sorcerer Strategist Trueblade War Priestess Wyvern Lord [spoiler=Expansion of Possible Classes] Primary Base Class: Mercenary Primary Promoted Classes: Bow Knight, Brave Hero Secondary Base Class: Pegasus Warrior Secondary Promoted Classes: Falcon Warrior, Golden-Kite Warrior Marriage Seal Classes: These are organized alphabetically based on the localized names of the spouses. we listed the Birthright characters first, the Conquest characters second, and the shared characters last. Setsuna: Bowman -> Golden-Kite Warrior, Holy Bowman Belka: Wyvern Rider -> Revenant Knight, Wyvern Lord Camilla: Wyvern Rider -> Revenant Knight, Wyvern Lord Pieri: Cavalier -> Great Knight, Paladin [spoiler=Notice] In the previous optional poll: Arthur placed 2nd; Subaki and Nishiki all placed 3rd (technically 3.5). Therefore, Arthur gets 3 votes and Subaki and Nishiki receive 1 vote each. Benoit and Saizou received only one (1) vote; Nyx, Tsukuyomi and Flora received none. Therefore, Benoit and Nyx will be out for 2 polls (returns poll 25); Tsukuyomi, Flora, and Saizou 4 polls (returns poll 27). Grey has been added back to the poll. if it is demonstrated again is that the forum is not interested in him, he will be out for 4 polls (would return poll 28) Eponine and Ophelia has been added to the poll. Note: If you plan to go through multiple classes, vote for the Final/Endgame class (except for preference, vote for whatcha like). [spoiler=Possible Skills] Personal Skill: Competitive: When user is the support unit, if the lead unit triggers a critical hit, the user is guaranteed a critical hit (if their attack connects) Skills are organized alphabetically based on the classes. Within the classes, skills are listed in the order of achievement (e.g. a GK earns Luna at Lvl. 5 and Diamond Strike at Lvl. 15, so Luna is listed before Diamond Strike). Base class skills are listed before promoted class skills. Descriptions of skills Luna can acquire through her primary and secondary class trees are listed below. 7. I hope putting spoilers in the title will be enough and totally because I don't know how to do the ''spoiler box''. Feel free to tell me if I did something wrong. Ok so the main topic (spoilers) Now that we know that Odin, Lazward and Luna are in reality Owain, Inigo and Severa of Awakening, there is something I was wondering about. If they are the same that returned to the past and joined Chrom's army for fighting Grima. ... Does that mean we have canon couples for this 3 children? I'm surprised nobody talked about it. Maybe because everyone is so busy because of Fates (or maybe I missed a old topic and the first moderator who will read this topic will delete it in less than 5 minutes xD). Ok so let me explain because I never really talk about what is canon and I'm sure I can be extremely wrong about this or this will not end well. I read that Sumia could be the canon mother of Lucina because she was in the opening cutscene of Awakening. For me, something is cannon when it's appear elsewhere that the game that gives you multiple choices. (I can be wrong). Of course, in that case, it's still in the game and it was never announced but it can be a proof. But let go back to Odin, Lazward and Luna. Shall we? Of course, Fate is a different game so if my theory (if we can call that a thoery) make sense. This mean their appearance in this game is canon. In their ''artworks'', Odin has blond hair (well more darker than Benoit), Lazward has Brown hair and Severa had red hair. Here are the fathers that could be theirs: Odin (Owain): Vaike, Libra or Avatar with either Hair color 07 or 17 Lazward (Inigo): Stahl, Frederick or Avatar with Hair color 10 Luna (Severa): Gregor or Avatar with Hair color 02 They are some that are alike (Avatar with Hair color 10 is extremely close, almost exacly like the artwork of Lazward) and some are not. I'm not trying to start a war or something. So do not take this too seriously. I just want the opinion of everyone.
  8. Like, are they actually from the Future Past DLC that the Shepards of our timeline went to save from Grima, instead of the same children who appear in FE Awakening timeline that we played? That's what I'd like to think anyways.
  9. I'm thinking of having Donny equip Sol. (The Sword) With Armsthrift, I believe it's a rather good choice. Donny doesn't have THAT many useful skills, anyways? But, since I already have him equip Sol, The Skill, will the chance for the Skill to activate double?
  10. I post this here as well as gameFAQ in case people are interested. Since people keep on repeating the same questions forever, I decided to make a little spreadsheet to help everyone estimate their damage. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GsTw_wKN_fLDjx4diZqXaMVzLeVclYszgDhrDOT8gi0/edit#gid=0 In the first row, you can specify your own stats which are needed for damage calculations. Add your strength and weapon might and weapon rank bonuses (Faire skills, Aggressor etc.) and put them into the cell below "P. Attack". This is the stat you see ingame as "Atk". Add your magic and skill. Magic is needed for Ignis damage calculations, skill is needed for trigger chances of skills. On the right side you can toggle "Rightful King". The second row shows you the exact chance to trigger each skill in percent. In the third row you can toggle skills. If you want to activate a skill, enter 1. To deactivate, enter 0. The fourth row you can see average and maximum damage of a skill. Fifth row describes the priorities in which the triggers of each skill are checked. Let's say you have lethality, aether and luna. The game will roll whether you activate lethality, if that happens the skill triggers, if not, the game rolls for aether, checks if it triggers or not, if aether doesn't trigger, the game checks for luna. The left column of the sixth row can be ignored since it's only purpose is to provide data for calculations. The right column of the sixth row shows the average damage contribution of each skill. It's an estimation based on your stats. red "lethality" rectangle shows damage in case it triggers or no. Same with aether, astra, luna, ignis. Edit: If you want to use this for magic, put your magic in "P.Attack" and your Strength in "M. Attack" and put the resistance of the enemy into "defense". It's only needed for Ignis calculations. Tell me what you think of it if you'd like.
  11. Self explanatory, i was wondering if Luna could go off in the back seat.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LF0IhyAasWw At first, I thought she activated her Luna skill to smash the window, but after watching it again, it turns out that she simply pulled an object from her car to smash the window... Thank Naga that the crazy woman did not have a Beaststone with her...
  13. Well, I have finally conquered lunatic. I proceeded to begin lunatic+. It sucks. I need help with chapter two, I can't do it, even with Virion's elixir. My MU is lv. 4 with a skill asset and defense flaw (It's only -1 defense). In C1 Fred got a soothing sword, and he just camped on the fortress and took out every enemy. I abused the boss until I couldn't with MU. The soothing sword has 4 uses left, and he also has Sully's lance and MU's sword, as well as his silver lance with 20, maybe 21 uses left. This will be a grind run. I'm also challenging myself to no sorcerer/dark magic run. A few VV abusers will go in and out of the sorc class to get vengeance, but they will not be sorcs in any campaign chapters. Chrom/Sumia- GL!Lucy, Falcon knight or paladin!Cynthia MU/Olivia- Grandmaster!Morgan, Hero!Inigo Ricken/Lissa- Dread Fighter or Sage!Owain Henry/Maribelle- War Monk!Brady Donnel/Sully- No idea!Kjelle Stahl/Cordelia- Hero!Severa Fred/Cherche- Wyvern!Gerome Gregor/Panne- Zerker!Yarne Lon'qu/Miriel- Sage!Laurent Gaius/Tharja- Dark Flier!Noire Vaike/Nowi- Manakete or axefaire hero!Nah I will not take suggestions for the pairings, but the classes I obviously need help with. I'm open to suggestions for chapters two and three, because they're stupidly hard, and for the second gen's classes.
