Spoilers for the third Madoka movie and the way magical girls/witches work! Hello everybody, I'll be presenting my idea for a crossover hack featuring characters from Madoka set in a FE setting, I hope you like my ideas and please critique and/or point out issues/plotholes/anything, I really want to make this as good as possible! Gameplay and engine wise, I think I'll go with FE8 and feature an Anima split and some new classes, nothing too fancy. Characters will have normal FE classes, maybe custom animations, but I'm not good at those. Madoka would be a bow Lord/Princess, Bebe would be a Cleric, Mami a Paladin and so on. Moving on, I was thinking of multiple ways the story could be explained: -Same concept as the third movie, Homura traps herself and her friends in her own witch labyrinth (maybe she could be some elite knight guard or the Lord of a nearby province/kingdom trying to be Madoka's knight in shining armour/unite their nations with marriage(something that would never work in reality)) and suddenly realizes that it's all a fake. She tries her best to show the other girls he truth, but ultimately, fails and nearly dies before being saved. The story follows Madoka and friends as she acts like a typical fantasy FE Lord, while Homura instead tries to find the source of the labyrinth. -Similar to the third movie, but they're somehow in a labyrinth made by Walpurgisnacht (I would love some hardcore Madoka fan to help me think of how that would work) and one of them realizes it and it's pretty much the same as above, but less dramatic and more fake and illusion-like when it comes to the overall feel of the characters and universe. Makes thematic sense since Walpurgisnacht looks like a medieval noblewoman and the series has some play/theatre themes. -Something else, maybe, once I think of it. Currently I have no progress to show outside a Madoka mug based off her Concept movie ballerina clothing and general planning. I would rather not rush this anyways.
