  1. I'm kinda surprised to see no one posted a thread yesterday to talk about Valve had created a new Portable Nintendo Swicth like PC Gaming Console called "Steam Deck". The Steam Deck was announced yesterday and this is going to be released at December. The crew from IGN did asked the developers to talk about the Steam Deck that it does play more than Steam Games such as Xbox Game Pass, other gaming software, etc. There are three seperate versions of the price points mentioned in the website that did confirmed that are 64 GB Storage eMMC as $399.00, 256 GB Storage NVMe SSD as $529.00, and 512 GB Storage NVMe SSD as $649.00 and they did mentioned about the FAQ about Steam Deck.
  2. Now with Genres I like and Game list Been browsing Steam for the last few weeks ever since I got a powerful gaming rig (it was built with help). I've also been trying to find other games around the web, but I either just don't know what to get or what I even like... so any recommendations? Age: 21 Genres liked (in general, games do not need to contain multiple for me to enjoy): Action, Adventre, RPG, Shooters (does not matter FPS, Over the shoulder, or whatever), Platformer, Fighting, Strategy, Sandbox, Online (includes PvP, Co-Op, MMOs, etc.). These are the ones I know I like, but I'm also pretty experimental with finding out what I like. Do not hold back. Do not like: crappy Horror (the kind that's just blood and jumpscares and such) and Hentai games (can handle nudity and such, but I'm not out for specifically that.) Here's my PC's game library
  3. Don't know how many of you here are into PC gaming but Square just released their system requirements and benchmark utility for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. Needless to say it brings most systems to their knees especially at 4K. I ran it on my system with 32GB of DDR4 2400, GTX 1080, and a AMD 1800X and got respectable results. Luckily 1080p looks really manageable and quite gorgeous for most PCs with a discrete GPU. Not surprising given that it was already a gorgeous game to begin with. Here is the utility if you wanna give it a go yourself. (It is over 3GB though so you know) http://benchmark.finalfantasyxv.com/na/
  4. Don't know how many of you are into PC Gaming/Enthusiast stuff but I figured I'd make a thread for something that's been in PC news lately. That is of course the new Graphics architectures that both AMD and Nvidia are set to talk about Q2 2016. AMD has Polaris and Nvidia has Pascal. There have been several rumors about each of these cards with both competitors trying to one up the other whether its in regards to VRAM, nm, speed, and tech improvements. It will be interesting to see what they come out with. Personally, I'm curious to see if AMD has anything up their sleeve as generally I think they've been pretty aggressive with their price points. While I love my current MSi GTX 980 and will be content with it for a long time I will be interested to see if these new cards can adequately play in 4K without the need of crossfire or SLI configurations as that's not only expensive but quickly becomes a game of diminishing returns and in Nvidia's case (can't speak for AMD) some games don't even support it all that well especially on launch day. Anyone have any thoughts?
  5. The long-awaited Steam Summer Sale has finally arrived, giving PC gamers a kind of Christmas in July! Lots of games are on sale at up to 90%, But more commonly I'm seeing 33-75%, which is still awesome! I'm sure a lot of PC gamers are already aware of this, but if not, check out the 12-day sale here: http://store.steampowered.com/ For an overview of today's (7/11/13) specific sales, see this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnDQE1M3ELE
