  1. Currently I'm playing FE6 and, almost reaching chapter 17, I heard about the route split to Sacae or Illia ("you go to Sacae if Sue and Shin combined EXP is higher than Tate and Shanna EXP, otherwise you go to Illia), so I started to wonder: If, before that chapter, Shin, Sue, Tate and Shanna die, all of them, what will happen? Will I go to Sacae or Illia? Or someway those chapters will be skipped and then ? And how does the game decides to which route I will go? I know it calculates the total EXP earned by the nomads and by the pegasus knights, and if Shanna and Tate's is higher than Shin and Sue's you go to Illia (otherwise, you go to sacae). But if some of them gain some EXP and then died (before chapter 17) will it count? For example, if Shin reached level 20 and then die, will his EXP be counted or does it count as 0, so to go to Sacae only Sue's EXP will count vs Tate and Shanna's to decide to which contry I will go in the route split ? And if the EXP is acounted even if the character die, then that would mean that if I kill everyone before any of them can get any EXP (somehow making sure that each of the four die in one hit, so they wont gain that 1 EXP for surviving battles) then I will go to Illia, since Tate and Shanna have higher base levels than Shin and Sue? Or the base levels doesn't count? (I think they don't, as I seen someone asking here why did they went to Sacae instead of illia since them Pegasus knight had higher level than the nomads, and someone answered that it wasn't about the base levels but only the EXP gained in game) Also, does the game prioritizes one route over the other? Like, if Both the pegasus knights and the nomads have Equal gained EXP (Or died, if dead units EXP doesn't count, because then all their EXPs would be 0), the game would have to send you to a route anyway, right? So would it be random (based in the RGN, with a 50/50 chance). or they prioritize one route over the other (kinda like like they do with Chrom potential wives in Awakening)? Before anyone starts advising on what I should do, I want to say that this is not the case for me, none of my nomads or pegasus knights had died yet. I just want to know this out of curiosity or if this had happened with anyone here (though I dont think this could happen if it wasnt on porpouse or iron man runs) Also, I want to state that English is not my first language so let me know if I wrote something in a weirdly indunderstandably way (the "inunderstandably" was on porpouse).

    Tough choice

Hello guys, So here's my situation, I'm playing for the first time Fire Emblem 6 in hard mode directly and it was kinda difficult to get where I am (at chapter 9 at the moment and it took about 10 + hours) The thing is I let Sue die in a very stupid way where I put her in a risky situation without any reasons, but sinceI restarted the chapter twice already I said fck it because bow units aren't really good in Fire Emblem anyway and I think I get get a similar one later on. But now (at chapter 9) I realize that I need Sue to recruit that Shin guy... who looks really good. And from my researchs FE 6 is one of the best game for bow units. And the fact that I screwed up almost all the Sacae line kinda annoys me.. (I still can have Fir tho) So I just wanted to have your opinion on this guys.. Is it worth restarting a new game in order to not let Sue die and get Shin ? It's 10 hours.. If it was a chapter I'd have do it instantly but I didn't know back then so a new game is a bit more annoying x) Oh and I guess there is NO way to get Shin on the current game whatever I do right ? sigh
  3. So right now I'm at the beginning of chapter 15 with Thany at level 20/5, Shin at 20 unpromoted and Sue at 1 unpromoted, and I killed Klein and Tate as enemies because I didn't want to use them. Apparently, I need the total exp of Thany and Tate to be lower than the total exp of Sue and Shin in order to access the Sacae route (and enable me to get the legendary bow), so my question is this: If Sue and Shin's total exp is lower than that of Thany, does that mean I'll automatically go to Ilia's route, or am I shunted to the Sacae route due to Tate's death? If Ilia's route happens, it's my understanding that as Tate is dead I won't be able to access the ice spear gaiden chapter and thus the good ending. I want to access the good ending so if possible I'd like to go on the Sacae path, but Sue is too weak to train (gets one-shotted by everyone) and I have no Orion's Bolts for Shin. Is the only way to get the good ending at this point to go through the arduous process of baiting last hits with Sue and rescuing her until she reaches level 8-9-ish in the next couple of chapters?

  6. After the disaster that was the FRLG nuzlocke, another one has appeared. Venturing into a remake of a sequel which had a prequel remade, our five bold heroes strive to blindly stumble through a game or something! In the LILAC corner, being called by pipes everywhere is Terrador! In the MAGENTA corner, with more mind tricks than that guy who sold you that set of knives you didn't need, Jedi! In the GOLDEN BROWN corner, the king of fast food and also no scoping noobs, Refa! In the SEPIA corner, a contemporary of Hippocrates, Shin! And sitting in the middle of the stage due to space constraints, is Horace! Dem rules; - If a mon dies, it's gone - First mon is catchable in the area, regardless if it's been caught or not before - Losing all your mons is only a game over if you have none in your box - Amazing names are mandatory - Trades between players will occur at given intervals permitting for hardware allowances - Starter Pokemon options have been selected by other players before start PROGRESS Terrador: Rocket Hideout - 0 Jedi: Bugsy - 0 Refa: Bug Catching Contest - 0 Shin: Rocket Hideout - 1 Horace: Rocket Hideout - 1 BUG CATCHING CONTEST 1. Terrador - Weedle 295 POINTS 2. Shin - Metapod - 259 POINTS 3. Refa - Metapod - ~245 POINTS 4. Horace - Metapod - ~240 POINTS 5. Jedi - DEAD
  7. I got this idea from the FE3 tag team. Basically, all 7 of us will be playing the DS FEs and alternating turns until we beat both games. Each of us gets 2 "safe units". Those units can never be undeployed unless required (too little amount of deployment slots) and can never die and must be trained regularly by all members. The Safe units are: PKL Jedi Elliot Ice Sage Shin Breezy Terrador Anti-troll rules: 1. Difficulty for both games is H2. 2. None of the safe characters above can be undeployed or killed. They must also be recruited. Any characters that recruit other important characters or safe units must also be recruited and alive. 3. No massive selling/buying of items to make everyone poorer in either game. 4. Drill Ground training is fine, as long as it's on a safe character or on Marth. 5. Don't drop items intentionally. 6. Warp and Rescue is banned. Again is ok. 7. Reclassing is ok. But don't reclass more than 1 of the safe characters to curate to halt their growth to troll others. 8. FE12 must be played out to the true ending. 9. FE12 Chapter 23 Gharnef has to be killed. 10. FE12 Chapter 21 you have to visit starlight village. 11. Have fun. 12. Trolling will not be tolerated unless it is extremely minor and humorous. Trolling exceedingly will result in someone else taking the spot from the troll and extreme shame to the troll. Let's get this thing started :D. I love the safe team.
  8. Another doohicky nuzlocke thingy between myself and Horace, taking Fire Red and Leaf Green respectively. El Rules - One mon per area - No doubles - If a mon dies, it be deads - No super chickens - Loser is whoever kills more mons or actually wipes After SS Anne, Silph Co and Giovanni, cruel trades will take place where Horace and I will choose a non-starter mon to steal from the other. Once a mon has been stolen, it cannot be restolen later. Deaths Shin: Lost to Lance Horace: Lost to E4 Rival Refa?: 1 - Cerulean City Happy watching!
  9. Attention denizens of Serenes! Basically Horace and I are duking it again in a Nuzlocke where pretty much everything is randomized. Pokemon, pokemon types, pokemon learnsets, locations, TM compatibilty, stats and the like. Considering that it's gonna be hard, we might as well see how few deaths we'll get past with. Both of us have different randomized sets, so I can blame my loss on the fact his is better! Deaths Shin: 3 - Cerulean Horace: 1 - Cerulean [spoiler=Shin goes to Pewter!] What else did you expect? And who knows which Pokemon will be there? Not I! Not actually horrible choices. Considering we've made evolution random too, it would be safe to stick with something evolved! But that would be boring! Ha, take that Wigglytuff! Your ice typing is your downfall! GOD NO! I call hax. Just like with every other time I've lost to him! WHO TOLD YOU I DID POT. Oh well, it turns out that it sucks anyway! And it's a great source of XP! Speed Boost Rhydon would have been pretty bro however! He also has BONERANG. How did he find a Weedle in this MADNESS? Then I didn't catch this thing! Next time for the FOREST and BROCK.

  11. 1. This draft is for 4 players. 2. Sigurd, Deirdre, Arden, Celice, Oifaye and Julia are free for all to use. 3. First, the mothers are drafted, and their children come with them. Example: Drafting Ayra gives you Ayra, Lakche and Skasaher. 4. Then, the rest of the characters (father characters, fixed characters and substitute characters) are drafted. The order for this part of the draft is reversed, so the person who went last picking mothers goes first picking these characters. 5. In addition, this draft will be played with the Shin patch, which we all have so no link 4 u. Rules: 1. Undrafted units may only: Recruit characters, initiate Talk conversations and special events that do not require the participants to be lovers. 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to meatshielding, giving Charisma bonuses, using the Give command, or participating in Lover/Sibling/support criticals. 3. Other and Neutral units may do as they please without penalty. 4. Arena use is allowed and encouraged. Penalties: 1. Non-holy weapon users have a 3 turn penalty per unit per castle. 2. Holy weapon users and Dancers have a 7 turn penalty per unit per castle. Example: Using an undrafted Noish en route to Jungby results in a 3 turn penalty. Once Sigurd seizes Jungby, you take another 3 turn penalty if you use Noish while en route to Evans. 3. Using the Give command is a special 12 turn penalty. Exceptions: 1. Generation 1 units may lose a bout in the Arena and then die to an enemy while unequipped to prevent them getting married. The enemy must have no other friendly units in his attack range and must finish the character in a single round. 2. Briggid, Claude and Tiltyu are free to use in Chapter 3. 3. Dew may lower the bridge in Chapter 4 if undrafted. He may not perform any other disallowed actions without penalty. 4. Leaf, Fin and Janne are free to use in Chapter 7. 5. Shanan is free to use in Chapter 7 until Yied is seized. 6. Midayle may be attacked after Jungby is captured. However, you can't have him attack on player phase. Xin'dy: Ethlin, Tiltyu, Azel, Shannan, Midayle, Claude, Daisy, Johalva, Radney, Dimna Essbee: Fury, Briggid, Levin, Lex, Cuan, Johan, Tristan, Mana, Sharlow, Holyn Darros: Aideen, Ayra, Laylea, Noish, Janne, Hawk, Beowulf, Femina, Linda, Asaello Shin: Lachesis, Sylvia, Aless, Alec, Fin, Jamka, Dew, Hannibal, Amid, Roddlevan
  12. Ok folks, it is time to settle something that has been a hot topic for a while, among the kid Fire Emblem units, who is the stronger unit between the ever fabulous Inigo Shin, or the massive chump (just like Shin), Brady Horace. We are assuming efficient play, as much as it pains me to use the term. No sitting around killing reinforcements and the such, or spending turns waiting for the enemy to come to you. Lastly before I begin, I'd both appreciate no interruption until all is said and done, feel free to comment when they're done. Judging will be done by a neutral arbitrator that has never played a Fire Emblem game, such as PKL, Refa, or Sharpy. Keep it clean, guys. Each personal attack will result in a 4 turn penalty for your theoretical playthrough. If you are banned from SerenesForest from said attack, it will be increased to an 8 turn penalty. Warp is banned. Wendy is free.
