  1. So, I just started painstakingly recording all of the rewards I get for feeding these animals: Spreadsheet here As you can see, this would take forever to fill out with enough info to be statistically significant. My progress alone will be incredibly slow. If you want to help, feel free to make your own copy of my "Template" sheet for your own records. Then, link it here so that I can copy it from time to time. I'd be grateful. If the way this system works is known, I would very much appreciate an explanation or a link to one. Even if it's just a theory.
  2. Hello guys! I found a lot of information regarding the raw growth rate stats but had trouble finding any comparative data, thus decided to try to form my own charts. I have thus far inputted all the growth rates and then formed an average and compared each character's growth rates to the average. I totalled them all up and this allows some really good comparisons: I will work on a proper document with even more info like this including charts and graphs, so stay tuned! If you would like to help just DM me :) I have many plans and will probs do this for each game! The excel document should be ready soon with ordering too! If this all exists already please tell me, but thus far I haven't found anything like it! 3. Hi guys, I've bought the collector game when he's released but I didn't play yet. And I've begun last night. My question is : Can we change randomly growth rates' unit just before he levels up ? I know that in Akawening, it works but in Fates, I don't know. I heard that in Lunatic mode, growth rates are predetermined, what does it mean precisely ? :(
  4. Hello! How is everybody? So, I was wondering how to make the most balanced avatar with the final class of Hoshido Noble. Once I've figured out the stat caps, I plan to use the statues to even Kamui out. I figured the most balanced boon and bane combination was HP+ and Luck-, but with two final classes for the original base class, I wasn't sure. I don't know how to calculate the boons and banes. So, if anybody could show me how to calculate or simply give me the final stats for each combination, that would be great.
  5. Does anyone know why the total growth rates of Fates characters differ? I understand that perhaps the royals ought to have a higher total since they're supposed to be OP. But why do Effie and Benny (knights) or Kaze and Kagero (ninjas) have different totals? Does it have to do with percentage allocation, or are the characters inherently imbalanced for whatever reason (and therefore some being statistically destined to be better than others, RNGesus willing)?
  6. [Project officially closed as of May 3.] We haven't yet figured out whether Fates uses 1 RN, 2 RNs, or some new system, so I've taken it upon myself to figure that out. I'm taking all data points from all sources to try to fit one model or another, and I've got an Excel sheet keeping track of all hit/miss ratios for all values 1-99. It's a daunting task, though; I have 1000 points as of starting this thread, and I estimate it may take 30,000 or more, so please, all help is welcome. Guidelines for Recording Values: Dual Guards don't count -- Dual Guard procs first. DO NOT use data from reloading Battle Saves. See below. Reloading chapters from the beginning is fine. Not necessary to maintain records for 0 and 100 Just get the value (1-99) and the outcome (H/M) -- circumstances not necessary Use either Excel or .csv formats -- those will be easiest to merge into the existing models You can now record and view collected data in real-time on a spreadsheet on Google Drive. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UaKECEGX7Dyb_JhduG6j_SPDkphsKELdVZvr2mAv5aU/edit?usp=sharing On the "Data" (front) tab, go to a column and record data in this format, aligned with the appropriate headers. [Hit Rate], [Outcome] [Hit Rate], [Outcome] This will ensure that your data is integrated into the results in real-time. The sheet has a large number of points and functions on it already, so it is fairly normal for it to lag a little on loading or when changing formulas, so be patient. Thanks in advance for your help! Latest Version: 23873 data points, 3:56 pm, May 3, 2016. Using data from myself, Balcerzak, XeKr, wvype, Verile, Minternets, myith, Vascela. Confirmed that the game uses 1-RN for values below 50 and weighted (3A+B)/4 for values above 50. The project is now closed. Eliminated possibilities: 1-RN (upper range) Unweighted 2-RN (all ranges) (3A+2B)/5 Weighted 2-RN (all ranges) Dynamic 1-RN (all ranges)
