  1. Hello, I'm doing a run of Path of Radiance at the moment and was planning to do Radiant Dawn after that. Since I know you can data transfer your stats I wanted to ask you if it'll make the game too easy to do so.. Considering I'll be playing on the highest difficulty level. I planned to have a really good Sothe on Path of Radiance, but if it makes Radiant Dawn too easy I think I'll just skip that, since Sothe stats transfer totally. Has anyone played hard mode FE10 with a uber Sothe ? Does it remove the challenge ? :/
  2. I'm thinking about getting myself a secondhand GC, or a backwards-compatible Wii, with secondhand copies of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn (amongst the three Zelda games, the two Pokémon Colosseum games, and F-Zero GX). (The really big problem? The expensive price tag of the two Tellius game, to levels I consider unheard of in other secondhand games. I'm wondering whether I should get a emulator instead, just for those two games...) My reasoning behind is that not only do I want to experience the Tellius story, but I also want to get the data transfer and the resultant "link bonus" in Radiant Dawn. (I discussed this with a fellow SF-er in a General Gaming thread and it seems like a potential VC for Switch may not have the transfer bonus.) And I am wondering just how much does the linked bonus change. Is it just Ike's support with whoever the bonus is assigned to? Or are there other changes as well? Did the link bonus impact your playthrough a lot?
  3. So, I recently got myself a Nintendo Wii and a copy of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. I still need to get myself a GameCube Controller so that I can play Path of Radiance, but I have some questions. Do I need to get myself a SD card for my Wii so that I can transfer saved data from Path of Radiance to Radiant Dawn? I'm thinking yes, as that means that I can save my Saved data from Path of Radiance onto the SD card? I just want some clarification, as I know the feature is there, but I just don't know how it works. Thank you. :)
  4. I just did a system transfer from my Ambassador 3DS to my FE 3DS. I wanted access to those titles and switching them back and forth was a pain. I called Nintendo and was assured my two people I would lose nothing in FE13. I clicked do not delete. I lost 400+ hours. I had a party min-maxed, beat Apotheosis, unlocked lunatic+ and completed the support library. It's all gone. Granted I wasn't planning on replaying the game any time soon, and if I did it would be another min-max playthrough. What really bothers me is the support library. That's gone and I don't have the patience to redo it. Just thought I'd rant a little. I'm just that angry.
