Hi everyone in the Serenes Forest! I'm of the ansellplays YouTube Channel (Small channel of 35-36 subscribers) and I'd like to share a series I have underway which is a fan-dub of The Sacred Stones! Now, I am aware that there might be other groups dubbing this game, and they might be better and further ahead. This isn't a competition, I just want to share my own dub to get some support / feedback. Hey all! So i decided to create a fan-dub project for the Fire Emblem Sacred Stones Story. I chose to do this because it would be a fun idea to do, as well as the fact that some people like to hear the characters speak in a text-based game, so the story feels more realistic :P Everything that will be used in the fan-dub will be entirely free, and there are no payments. This is purely a fan-based project and it should be fun for all! Below are the details, thanks to Casting Call Club for sending me a plain text version of the actual casting call. I decided to create a second fan-dub project to run alongside my current one which is the Final Fantasy VI Advance Fan-Dub (Link to Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6CdV5xuYtrD1a1mGcSupmhgkXCL2nUhD )The idea is simple. I will post roles down below of the main characters as well as a few side characters. Their descriptions will contain close to accurate details of their personality and attitude, so that you guys and girls have a decent idea on how to base your voices.I do not expect amazing work, i believe everyone can do a brilliant voice for whatever characters, and i will not judge harshly or in any negative fashion.If i believe you are fit for the character, i will add you on skype (Search up "ansellplays", profile picture is the same as the YouTube Logo) and ask for lines. He speaks during the introduction of the story as well as the voice for the overworld map dialogue. Imagine yourself as if you were telling a story, giving emphasis to truely set the scene. *Audition Lines:* > "In an age long past... evil flooded over the land. Creatures awash in the dark tide ran wild, pushing mankind to the brink of annihilation." > "The kingdom of Renais, ruled by Fado, the peerless Warrior King. The kingdom of Frelia, ruled by Hayden, the venerable Sage King. The kingdom of Jehanna, ruled by Ismaire, Queen of the White Dunes. The theocracy of Rausten, ruled by Mansel, the Divine Emperor. The Grado Empire, ruled by Vigarde, the stalwart Silent Emperor." > "It is now the year 803... In an instant, the whole of Magvel is threatened by an unexpected atrocity." --------------------------------- **Name:** Valter, the Moonstone. *Age:* MiddleAge *Gender:* Male *Characteristics:* “I've no use for these bloodless minnows... I hunger!” According to a support conversation between two Grado Generals, Cormag and Duessel, Valter used to be only a somewhat more decent and sane man until, having had his own lance broken in battle, he took a cursed lance owned by the Obsidian, which made him into the man he is now. Cormag then points out that a weapon is only as good or evil as the man who wields it. Valter also lusts after the beautiful and strong willed Eirika, and one of his reasons to fight is his desire to capture her and make her his puppet bride. Riev points out, as he hears about it, that Valter is like an animal, not letting the human rules stop his darkest desires. *Audition Lines:* > "You're a dead man. The wench goes with me." > "I am Valter, the Moonstone, Grado's finest general! And you're just a corpse who does not know he is dead." > "Such terrible wounds, and still he holds to his duty? How entertaining. Fly away, little man. Fly away. Try to outrun death. More time to savor the hunt... and the kill." --------------------------------- **Name:** Franz *Age:* MiddleAge *Gender:* Male *Characteristics:* "Fine. I may be young, but I'm every bit a Knight of Renais. I'll fight to the end to protect the princess, just like you, sir!"Franz is an earnest, sincere and determined young cavalier from Renais. His loyalty to Eirika and Ephraim is surpassed only by that of Seth, and he strives to live up to his brother Forde's example. *Audition Lines:* > "General Seth!" > "U-understood!" --------------------------------- **Name:** Fado, King of Renais *Age:* Senior *Gender:* Male *Characteristics:* Fado is known as the Peerless Warrior King. He was caught off guard when his good friend Emperor Vigarde launched a full-scale assault on his country. *Audition Lines:* > "...What esle can we do? Order your men to lay down their arms." > "Take Eirika and head for Frelia. King Hayden is an honorable man. I trust he will keep you safe." > "Am I somehow responsible for this? Have I erred in my leadership? Renais is mine to guide... How could I have failed her so?" --------------------------------- **Name:** Seth, Renais General aka The Silver Knight. *Age:* MiddleAge *Gender:* Male *Characteristics:* "It is my charge. It is my hope. Sir Orson... Prepare yourself."Seth is best described as a 'duty comes first' man. He is stoic, honorable, polite, calm, and usually expressionless. Despite his seemingly cold outside, he is just and fair. He sometimes loosens up when talking to others, such as Franz and Natasha.Seth lets his duties come before his feelings, as seen in his Support Conversations with Eirika, where he has difficulties expressing his feelings to people that have a higher social status, showing a great deal of humility and honor. *Audition Lines:* > "Princess Eirika, we must-- Quickly! Behind me!" > "If we've made it this far, we've surely earned a moment's rest. Please forgive my grabbing you so...brusquely earlier." > "Your Highness, I won't lie to you. This will not be an easy ride. Please, take this rapier. If something should happen to me, you must continue to Frelia, alone if need be." --------------------------------- **Name:** Eirika, Princess of Renais *Age:* YoungAdult *Gender:* Female *Characteristics:* "It is... I just pray that this fighting will end as swiftly as possible. No one desires this war. So why must it continue?"Eirika is a very kindhearted, forgiving, gentle, and careful person. She detests violence, saying that she wishes there was a way to solve their issues without violence. Eirika's biggest flaw is her naivety, having been rather sheltered until she began her training under Ephraim's watch two or three years ago. *Audition Lines:* > "Father, you can't stay! You mustn't! If you stay, so shall I!" > "It's alright Seth. My Brother has taught me something of swordplay. I will stand with you." > "Are words useless? Is strength all that matters?
