  1. Hi, I wanted to try a run with Witch Rinkah, no skillbuying for her, reclass as soon as My Castle is accessible, and Malig Knight/Wyvern lord Felicia (wen for Malig knight for magic growth but might end in wyvern lord with magic weapons). Well, doing that on hard in BR, and so far it's very easy, Rinkah has approximately the same defence as average Silas, enough speed to double every ennemy except swordies/thieves/ninjas, average mag (although with witch base mag she has about the same magic as Orochi, while having more HP, def and way more speed). So we have a hard hitting magic unit with cavalier level defensive abilities, free tonic/potions seeking to save money, and she kills everything except anti mage units in 1 round. Felicia has average strength and def with above average magic and resist compared with similar units, early access to str+2, lv 10 wyvern skill to switch places, savage blow, soon trample, giving her 7 physical damage vs non mounted ennemies and 5 magic damage. She can also get rally def whenever I switch her to wyvern lord and then sword breaker for easy axe berserk. I also picked up Setsuna, don't know which class she's gonna go into, maybe ninja after lv 10 archer for quick draw and more strength/def/HP so she can pick locks and poison strike. I guess she makes a good master ninja/mechanist depending on what you want her to do (mechanist allowing her to use her bow rank and stronger weapon type is nice too with bonus movement being quite useful in some situations with BR open maps). I also found out how useful it was to pair Hinoka with Setsuna in their intro map since Setsuna can double and tank mages and double onis with Hinoka backpack (she 3HKOs the onis in this chapter at base). Don't know who I'm gonna use on top of them. MU is really stat screwed (only stats that got more than 2/3 level ups at lv 8 were HP and strength, making him/her a fighter with swords and dragonstone...with Charlotte level defensive stats and Silas/Effie level speed, so I'm not using MU outside Felicia backpack, which he does well anyway). I like the vanguard and Lodestar skins so I might use some males with DLC classes. Just don't know which ones are gonna be the chosen ones. Now I let you suggest things to try since I've largely seen in my diverse playthroughs that weird class paths often make the best units. Who should get lodestar in your opinion? The class is really poor growths-wise and sword locked, a poor man's swordmaster/master of arms.

  3. Hi, I know a solo run already breaks the game and the way I started it broke the rules: Felicia was lv 1 after chapter 6 since I started the run at the path choice. I know normal difficulty is already shit. But honestly past the few first levels she can do hard as well. So I began chapter 7 with a master ninja pair up speed boon avatar C supporting my bronze sword lv 4 hero Felicia after giving her the herbs and boots from bonus path and the initial goddess icon that anyone can get at this point in the game if they have all 3 routes. I didn't get any stat booster by the 2 easiest random battles I fought (1 for reaching 10 with MU who would have reached it if the stupid boss didn't play BEFORE his subordinate and the other just to get gold and the 1st 3 lv ups on Felicia because well, beginning chapter 7 in a new file Felicia would already be level 4 with ease like mine tend to reach 5 at this point in the game it's not like I gave her 10 level ups from the get go). When I got Hana, Felicia was level 17 hero and reached 18 by the end of the next chapter with Hana pair up for the support "grinding" (then I played 3 random battles with Hana only fighting to get A+ Felicia to go swordmaster before reaching lv 20, she got astra at lv 21 in chapter 12). Then I gave her the witch class. She has also gotten all the chapter 10 stat boosters excet res, spd and lck (she doesn't need them at all). You know, Felicia who starts with shit base stats and needs 8+ level ups to just reach Gunter's gutter base stats. Well, Before getting her out of hero she could already have soloed chapter 13 (which she did as a witch). This while ending full hp. Now level 47 witch (-20 or 21 for real level) she has 10 str with a base of 1, 29 mag, 20 skl, 31 speed, 28 lck, 15 def and 26 res. Her skillset is sol, vantage, astra, teleort (which is useless in solorun so I'll switch with axebreaker or something else) and toxic brew (which could as well not exist since she killed everyone but Xander and Ryoma in one round or hit with E parchment then switching to Mjolnir by the middle of te chapter). I ended up replacing those 2 with axebreaker and strong riposte since it's ennemy-phase oriented. I bet she will shit on the game and I'm sure she would shit on hard mode with the same build even if you don't give her hp and def boosters like I did, same for magic, maybe skill is needed since it's shaky. She just dodges everything or blocks the attack. TL;DR: If I made this topic it was to show people that in th end even a unit with shit base stats and a lackluster and competely absurd class set for one's base stats and growths, ANY unit can just shit on the game with little effort without even needing to be tanky. Many new players just read about RNG avoid being shit and think you can no more dodgetank in this game. But it is all about dodging some attacks, proccing astra to refill the guard stance gauge for free and getting vantage to activate whenever you happen to lose enough hp, some sol proc to be full hp again. Also unlike new players would think (or any player who didn't use the witch class and didn't go see the teleport skill on the internet) teleport can only be used to teleport close to an ALLY UNIT meaning it's useless for like 99% of a solo run, don't bother with witch on any physical unit since you won' be able to use it at all. Now at least my exp gain will be minimal since Jakob and Felicia aren't counted as lv 1 anymore in DLC classes (some random exp bug on these classes maybe, they ae lv 21+ with that level's exp gains unlike in their promoted classes) so I don't recommend using DLC classes on them before level 21 to get enough exp before getting shit on by exp gains. So maybe ennemies will catch up with Felicia before my solo run ends, who knows? still 100 basic ennemies give her 1 level up anyway so she will gain maybe 7 or so levels before the endgame comes? Still enough for her to stomp the game in normal and probably in hard too with a little more care. No need for MU+Ryoma, Felicia can do everything by herself. She doesn't even need forges, just weapon drops and E ranks when you class change. Mine has more stats than my average MU with a few really bland lv ups (like 5x at least she got 1 hp 1 spd, or 1 lck 1 res etc.) that might make up for the stat boosters I gave her if you compare with MU's growths that are far superior to hers. And if Felicia can solo the game, so can Azura and Setsuna, they just need a little more time to start rising in the beginning since they don't have t2 skills, but a dread scroll shoul be enough for them to do the same as my Felicia. They will just need swordmaster from someone else, maybe only A support with MU and S with a samurai since they might not have friendship samurai access. Why no samurai MU? Because +2 skill gives slightly more skill activation rate, and +1 movement is far better than 2 stat points. Sure we can't nosferatank the whole game like before. Instead we can just block 50+% of incoming attacks, abuse vantage easier alongside astra and guard stance, and stomp the game without being in death range for 80% of it (once the lower levels are behind our unit). And this doesn't require anything more than an access to samurai and to a physical or magical +10 avoid class (swordmaster, Witch and nine tails, or master ninja for 5 avoid and 5 dodge) makes it easier between blocks. PSS: in case you didn't catch the point, It is just the proof that IS wanting to make us stop with ressource funnelling into one and only unit is a lie, because they continue giving us stat boosters that can be abused on one unit since they don't set a max of stat boosters per stat per character, one weapon type superior to all of the others, OP units, be they ests or prepromotes, and stat inflation, and with the guard stance auto block and it's link with astra procs, it's just even easier than Awakening to stomp the game for one only unit.
  4. Hey Azurites (Yep, I am using that nickname for y'all)! Anna here and welcome to this post! Today, we have a poll series that I wanted to do, called Fire Emblem Fates: Best Character Ever! To use it for the first time, we have Felicia: And here we have Flora: Yep, you saw it in the title: Felicia vs Flora! Poll will automatically close in September 30th at 10:00, so if you want to vote, I recommend you to hurry up! Voting is optional, so you can just see the post without voting in it if you don't want. That is all I had to do today, bye bye Azurites!
  5. 1/04/2018: Updated the Snipe Build with Mochi and edit some stuff. 2/07/2018: Updated builds with Plate as well as extra thoughts. 2/14/2018: Updated General and Snipe Build, removed debuff build. Felicia, Maid Mayhem Base Stats: HP: 31/34/38 ATK: 20/23/26 SPD: 34/37/40 DEF: 15/18/21 RES: 32/35/38 BST: 147-148 Default Skills: Weapon: Silver Dagger+ Assist: None Special: Glacies A: RES 3 B: None C: Breath of Life 3 Available as a 3 and 4* unit. Overview: Role: Anti-Mage, Debuffer, Healer, Damage Dealer Felicia is known for her great RES stat which allows her to shrug of magic damage and deliver huge damage with Iceberg/Glacies. Her great speed allows her to avoid getting doubled by most characters and allows her to effectively use windsweep if you want her as a debuffer. Thanks to her color she takes neutral damage barring Raven users which allows her to handle mages of different colors However, due to her class she has low BST, as well as low ATK and DEF. Despite her weaknesses, if you are looking for a character that can be built as an anti-mage, debuffer, or a healer Felicia is the character for you. With the recent plate update she is no longer reliant on her special to damage non-mages, plus the effect applies to when she attacks or gets attacked by a mage. Bold= Preferred choice if possible Builds: Budget/Starter (General) Anti-Mage (General, Arena) Medic (Tempest/PVE Content) Snipe Build (Arena) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Extra: This section is just opinions about certain things, feel free to add in if you have something in mind. Building a Team Around Felicia: Someone that can handle Bows/Daggers, as we know B.Lyn is one of the titans of the arena. While it's possible for Felicia to handle a B.Lyn on initiation (depending on build/scenario) it will leave her at less than 50% HP. I like F.Robin because she can handle blues as well as colorless with a Raven build. Someone that can handle high DEF targets, Mages and Dragons are ideal for this job. The new weapon helps to alleviate it, though Dragon's might still give her trouble. If you are going for a kiting team a Gravity+ user will be a great asset. Buffers such as B.Lucina, Eirika/Ephraim to buff her further. B.Lucina is the best choice thanks to her weapon granting +3 ATK and SPD for daggers along with her innate Drive SPD. If you opted for Rogue Dagger+ upgrade Blade Mages can enjoy an additional +4 to their damage, providing you get everyone in the right place when Player Phase starts. With the weapon upgrade for Dragons Felicia will have difficulty tanking them so you'll need someone to assist her in handling them. While Felicia's damage output greatly increased with the Plate she'll have trouble against targets that have balanced defensive stats. Sheena and some dragons come into mind. Skills of Interest (other skills that could be good that were not mentioned): A: Close Counter: I've seen a Felicia on my FL with this skill it gives Felicia more uptime to use her weapon. Normally dragons (unless upgraded) deal magic damage and get free hits against Felicia, with this skill she can attack at melee and apply her dagger's effects more often. With the addition of plate this could be a good skill for her so she's a threat on enemy and player phase ATK RES Bond: The high-end expensive stuff. Providing you can keep a unit next to Felicia you get the ATK boost of LND along with a boost to RES that is one less than DD. Right now we have to wait until Halloween Nowi/New Year Takumi returns, or hopefully a non-seasonal gets this skill. Warding Stance: Another high-end skill that is great for an enemy phase Felicia for the additional RES when the enemy initiates on her. Currently it's only available on Halloween Sakura B: Watersweep: Mostly for use vs dragons, with breath weapons using the target's weaker defensive stat, it might be worth considering if you need Felicia to target dragons safely.. C: ATK/DEF Tactics: Useful in a mixed movement team. Drive Skills: Since Felicia's C slot is more flexible, these skills are great for supporting your team. Thank you for taking the time to read this topic thus hoped it helped or gave some idea, leave a comment if you like.

  7. So I was searching pair up bonuses and comparing for a team I had in mind for PvP, so I looked into pair up bonuses and found this: Felicia PS= 2+ Damage, Receive -2 Damage Jakob PS= Receive -3 Damage , +15 Avoid Felicia C=Hit rate +10, Avoid +5 B=Critical Evade +5 A=Avoid +5 S=Avoid +5, Critical Evade +5 Felicia Spd +1 Res +1 Mag +1 Spd +1, Res +1 Jakob C=Hit rate +10, Critical +3 B=Critical Evade +5 A=Critical +3 S=Critical +3, Critical Evade +5 Jakob Str +1 Spd +1 Skl +1 Str +1, Skl +1 EDIT: Forget it, she gives the same amount of avoid when not paired up, but when paired up is less than him, lol sorry.
  8. Hi guys, sorry for bothering you, but i have nearly completed felicia, all skills and convo's unlocked (only one playthrough for spear master skills remaining). And i just had a question, what other characters are difficult to get all the skills for? Will be a fun challenge to get these skills too. Also, now i can say that felicia IS the trouble ... I let myself out
  9. So, Flora and Felicia, 2 twins maids, chieftain's daughters, one being cold toward you (at least at the start of the game) and the other one being very loyal and cheerful. We don't really know much of their backstory through the game, only in chapter 8 and support convos. For this reason, we believe that Flora and Felicia are hostages, for the only purpose of stopping a rebellion from the Ice village. However, I don't think it's the case, they are not hostages, they are spies. Here's why (there's some spoilers): Reason #1: Anankos, Garon AND Iago don't know that they are the chieftain's daughters. So you rejoined your Nohr siblings and Father asked Anankos what to do with you. Fortunately for you, you just have to stop the Ice rebellion in order to become Garon's child again. Wait, what? Aren't Flora and Felicia hostages for the whole purpose of preventing this from happening? Then explain why Anankos is asking this. Sure, Anankos may not know them but what about Garon? I mean, the monster, not the real one since this is the monster that we see in the cutscene when we are a baby, right? Does Anankos forgot to put a brain inside his puppet? But Iago, if he knew Leo since he was a child, he would sure as hell remember that Flora and Felicia would be hostages. Reason #2: Flora's arrival before chapter 8 makes more sense if she's actually a spy. This is something that bothered me when I watched the conversation before chapter 8 for the first time and second time. Remember, you just got saved by Kilma (btw, if you play as a female avatar, I think Jakob leaving you is totaly out of the character or even the fact that he knows where is the Ice village is strange) and after he gave you tea, he said this: Ok, explain to me how in the world that he knew that was on her way to the Ice village, she was a HOSTAGE and according to Flora herself (more on that below), she didn't see him for YEARS. There we have 2 differents cases: if Felicia is here or if Jakob is here. If Felicia is here, there's no problem since now, both ''hostages'' are in the village. On the other hand, there something fishy if Jakob is here. Jakob asks to Flora if Felicia came as well but Flora said that she didn't. Again, why? That would the perfect moment since Milady (Avatar) is not here, Jakob too and Guntler is ''dead'' and there's only generics soldiers for stopping you from leaving the citadel and you can both fight very well and heal each other. Reason #3: Flora gave you false informations. Flora, before you fight her in both Conquest and Revelations, is very cold toward you. Yes, she respects you since you are her liege but you are still her enemy. In chapter 8, Flora gave you informations if you send either Felicia or Jacob against her. If you send Felicia, we don't have much information but there's something wrong. Several people (including myself) though that Felicia didn't know that she was a hostage at all since in the battle conversation with Flora, she doesn't understand of what Flora is talking about. However, this is false, in her A support conversation with Niles, Niles believes that she's a hostage and she responds by saying this: I know what you're thinking: ''Well, she just don't think that she's a hostage.'' Well, just after, Niles said she wasn't raised in any warm arms and she said: I don't know if that was a poor attempt of making a joke by Felicia but by saying that, Niles would have realized that she's just lied to him. If you send Jakob, Flora said that they were taken as hostages since they were children from preventing the rebellion from happening. It's a lie too. In Felicia and Flora B support, we learn that their father trained them for combat since they were children. So, why are they spies? Here what happened: - Kilma wanted to freed his village from Nohr's influence but he needs to wait the right time to attack, when Garon will send most of his army away from Nohr. - Then, he had the great idea of sending a spy so he can informs him when Garon sends his army. - Of course, the task is very dangerous because anyone could be executed. - He had the genious idea to send both his daughters as spies by disguising them as maids (they might be teenagers at that time) - When the war started between Hoshido and Nohr, Flora informed Kilas so he could starts the rebellion. Keep in mind, this may be not true because Japenese conversations could be different but, I think it's still a solid theory.
  10. For the third week, we’re going to vote and discuss on the best class for Felicia, the clumsy maid. She’s quite renowned for her fighting skills, so shall we take a look at that? One of the reasons Felicia has more flexibility in class choices is due to her fairly strong Mag, which allows her to either serve as a healer or as a magic user. However, there’s a special Hidden Weapon for Felicia that basically serves as a Levin Sword-- its damage is dependent on Mag. With that in mind, maybe Felicia has some hopes for a purely physical class as well! The format for this post is similar as that of last week: The following spoiler tags will mostly contain information regarding Felicia. For this week, I’ve added the Pair Up bonuses Felicia provides within each class, and modified the Predicted Stats for level 20, 30, and 40. As there’s quite a bit of information, I wouldn’t suggest reading all of it, but only looking through what you deem necessary. I’d advocate the use of Ctrl+f to target specific information. Also, a lot of information is shown through attachments, so you'll have to click on it to be able to read the text. If you already know the necessary information, there’s no need to go through it; this information is here simply for your convenience. (Also, I’m only human. If there are any mistakes within the information, please tell me so that I may correct it.) Without further ado: Which is the best class for Felicia? [spoiler=Information Regarding the Marriage/Buddy Seals] Information Regarding the Marriage/Buddy Seals I’m not actually going to go over the really general information, since I’m pretty sure most of you know about it already. But if you have no idea what these seals are, check out the items page or this post. Anyhow… Nishiki, Flannel, Azura, and Mozume provide access to their secondary class trees, as their starting class trees are unique to them (and in some cases, their children). (The credit for the following bullet points go to Astrophys, who I copied the wording from, and the other SF members on the Marriage Seals post that clarified this issue.) If there is no primary class tree overlap between the characters, the simplest case scenario plays out: They both get each other’s primary class trees. If the characters share each other’s primary class trees, they get each other’s secondary trees. If a spouse’s (or buddy’s) primary class tree is the same as the character’s secondary class tree, the character does not receive any class tree. There are certain exceptions to the last rule, but they mainly involve the Avatar. If you’re still confused, let me use Felicia as an example to try and clarify matters! Let’s say Felicia marries Nishiki. Nishiki’s secondary class tree is Spellcaster, so Felicia would receive the Spellcaster tree. Let’s say Felicia marries Kaze. There is no primary class overlap between the two characters, so Felicia would receive the Ninja tree. Let’s say Felicia marries Jakob. Both of these characters’ primary class tree is Rod Knight. Thus, Felicia would receive Jakob’s secondary class tree-- Cavalier. (The vice versa would apply, in which Jakob would receive the Mercenary tree.) Let’s say Felicia marries Lazward. Felicia’s secondary class tree is Mercenary, and Lazward’s primary class tree is Mercenary. Although Lazward also has the Ninja tree, Felicia does not receive this; she receives no new class trees from Lazward. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM or leave a reply on the original post. The Marriage Seals post did a pretty good job of explaining the complexities, so feel free to check out that thread if you’re still confused. [spoiler=Rules, Notices, & Clarifications] Rules, Notices, & Clarifications Rules Please be respectful! This is a huge given, but I still see people break it all the time. Don’t be arrogant-- your opinion is important, but hardly the end-all-- and please don’t be a troll. I don’t want these polls to serve only for people who have played the game. Therefore, please be careful with spoilers. As we’re discussing classes, I’m assuming that most people are fine with gameplay spoilers. However, this does not guarantee that people are fine with story spoilers as well, so if you must bring them up, make sure to tag them as spoilers. If you’re tagging story spoilers, leave an explanation. Many people may assume that you simply tagged it as a spoiler because it was a long post, or because it was related to gameplay. Clarify what exactly you’re tagging-- it doesn’t take that many words. Notices In the optional poll, Leo placed second and Nyx placed third. As such, Leo will receive three additional votes, and Nyx will receive one. Sakura received zero votes, and as such, were eliminated from this week’s optional poll. As it has been proven that the forum does not wish to discuss them at the current moment, they have a waiting period of two weeks before they will be re-entered into the optional poll. As the victor, Felicia has also been removed from this week’s optional poll. The two characters have been replaced by Tsukuyomi and Mozume. Clarification If you’re confused as to what this post is all about, refer to the original post. It is currently Week Three. Week Two polls concerned Silas, and Week One polls concerned Azura. We are discussing the end class for Felicia. You are free to consider reclassing options along the way (just make sure to factor in the cost of reclassing for the Practicality polls), but your vote should be based on your predicted end class. We’re ignoring DLC classes; those are OP on any character. If we go through with post-release (for NA/Europe) polls, I plan to have polls regarding which characters should receive the DLC classes. Children will not be introduced until the localized game is released, or we have gone through all of the first-generation characters. We’re ignoring any class options the Avatar may give to Felicia, as it introduces too many new variables. There will not be Practicality polls for the Third Route, as there’s no space on the polls for it. I limited the Optimization/Practicality poll options to the promoted classes. I figured that in order to use Silas efficiently, he should be at a promoted class than at a base class. These results are actually quite interesting, in that a “non canon” class was voted as the optimal class. That’s a first. Here are the results: Optimal Class Strategist (31.82%) Maid (29.55%) Exorcist (11.36%) Most Practical Class (Hoshido) Maid (38.64%) Strategist (29.55%) Exorcist (15.91%) Most Practical Class (Nohr) Strategist (38.64%) Maid (34.09%) Unavailable (6.82%) Preferred Class Maid (75.00%) Strategist (6.82%) Third place was discarded as there was a tie between multiple classes. Upcoming Character Leo (11.36%) [5+3 votes] Elise (13.64%) [6 votes] Nyx (9.09%) [4+1 votes] (Leo placed ahead of Elise because he got three additional votes from placing second last week.) With this, the next character we are going to be discussing will be Leo! ...As you might have already seen, ahaha. Xander and Tsukuyomi each received only one vote, and will therefore not be included in the roster for next week’s poll. Elise and Nyx will “receive” extra votes (three and one respectively) for next week’s poll. Forum Discussion Adventurer Felicia Felicia can equip the Shining Bow, which allows her to utilize her Mag to attack. The Shining Bow does not allow Felicia to inflict critical hits. However, while Felicia’s Lck is high, her Skl is low; she would not have been scoring that many criticals in the first place. The weapon also has fairly high Mt, and can be very powerful in Felicia’s hands. The weapon has a fairly low Hit Rate and inflicts -20 Avoid, but Lucky Seven can fix these problems. Adventurer allows Felicia to continue using staves. This is useful, as Felicia will probably have a high staff level from her initial class. Exorcist Felicia Exorcist provides Felicia with high Mag and Skl growth (the former capitalizes on her strength, and the latter fixes her weakness). It gives her the ability to use magical weapons. Exorcist allows Felicia to continue using staves. This is useful, as Felicia will probably have a high staff level from her initial class. If Felicia can run through Strategist, Felicia can be a great support unit with Rally Magic/Resistance, Battle Command, Demoiselle, and great staff usage. As a support unit, Felicia will mostly be in the back. Therefore, she does not have to worry about Exorcist’s low Def. Exorcist has the skill Fortune. Since Felicia has great Lck, she can get good bonus EXP out of this skill. Maid Felicia Felicia has poor Str, which makes her inept in this class. Felicia’s Ice Tray allows her to utilize her Mag to attack, but this weapon is hard to come by, and it’s not terribly strong. Also, Felicia’s Ice Tray is not unique to her, and it may be more useful on other characters. Aside from her Ice Tray, Felicia can also use Explosive Shurikens to utilize her Mag. This weapon has stronger Mt, and improves Felicia’s damage output. However, Explosive Shurikens have -20 Avoid. Since Felicia wants to avoid attacks (with her weak Def), this may not be the most useful weapon. Maid has an S-rank in staves. This allows Felicia to use the Bifrost Staff during PvP matches, which revives a dead unit. Felicia has access to many self-healing skills (Sol, Servant’s Joy, Stubbornness), so she can be somewhat of a battle cleric. She’ll be able to assist people on the front lines while taking a couple of hits. Although Felicia has poor Skl, Sol has a relatively high proc rate. Additionally, her Lck is very high, which allows Stubbornness to activate frequently. Sorcerer Felicia Although Sorcerer helps Felicia’s Mag, it provides such poor support for Felicia’s weak Skl. Strategist Felicia Strategist does not help Felicia’s weak Skl. However, this could be fixed if Felicia first raises her Skl sufficiently in Maid and then reclasses into Strategist. Strategist heavily emphasizes Felicia’s strengths and the cost of leaving her weaknesses very prominent. However, she can play the part of a support unit and sit safely at the back. Due to Felicia’s high Lck growth, she may cap out on it. Compared to other classes, Strategist has a high Lck cap. Although Felicia has low Def, she has high Lck and decent Spd. Therefore, with certain breaker skills, she can dodge most attacks in the early game. Strategist grants Felicia good movement, which allows her to assist other units and run away from danger.
  11. So in one of the recent Trailers we saw that Felicia (a pre-promoted Maid) was at Level 40. Speculation was that pre-promotes get an extra 20 levels to help keep up. However, what if this games leveling system is like Genealogy? (at least I think it was Genealogy) where promoting doesn't reset your level, it just gives you 10 (or in this case 20) more levels to work with.
  12. Ok, so we all know about the dancer character being on both sides no matter what your choice/side. But after looking through the Nintendo directs from both January and April I found two other characters that may also exist independent of what side you choose. Let's first take a look at what I will call the pink-haired cleric: In this image, you can obviously tell that this is the Hoshido side. You can even see Sakura behind the cursor! Now notice the pink-haired girl at the very bottom of the image. Clearly she is a Hoshido ally based on her blue clothes and health bar. However, take a look at this screenshot: This is obviously Nohr's campaign based on Camilla's sprite--the dragon rider next to the dancer character--being blue (and not red). Now look on the very left of the image at the pink-haired cleric. Notice her sprite is also blue, same as Camilla. What the hell??! What this means is that in this screenshot, the pink-haired cleric is allied with the Nohr side instead of the Hoshido. In this picture I would also like to point out the leftmost cavalier--the one with the blueish-grey hair. Once again, his sprite color represents his Nohr-side alliance. However, both he and the pink-haired cleric can be seen on the completely opposite side in this screenshot from the January direct: The characters are located to the west and the south of the green-haired sprite, an ally of Hoshido's Kazahana; making them both allies of Hoshido. WOULD YOU TWO MAKE UP YOUR MINDS ALREADY?!? However, there is another more interesting problem with the bluish-grey-haired cavalier: In this screenshot we can see that this is the Hoshido campaign from both Sakura being blue and the giant Hoshido caption in the upper corner. Notice the blueish-grey-haired cavalier's sprite being red in this screenshot, an enemy unit. Since he is the only enemy unit present in this dialogue scene, he must be somewhat important in this particular chapter. Maybe he is an enemy unit (a Nohr unit) and you are able to talk him over to your side? Can't say for sure. That's all the evidence I have with these characters present on a certainly-identifiable side. Now for speculation. I personally think the pink-haired cleric is Felicia, the maid. (Partially cause I'm biased and I really like Felicia), but the pink hair, the bonnet, and the characteristics of her clothes such as the white intricate triangle design on the top of her dress, the white sleeve cuffs, the white apron, and the black thigh-high socks (the later two can be seen better in the Nohr boxart with the blue-haired maid) all point to me of this character being Felicia. Thoughts?
