  1. I've been wanting to make the shop in FE6's battle preparations accessible in HM (In case you don't know, FE6 only allows you to shop between chapters in Normal Mode). I'm using FE Builder and there's a patch available for this exact issue. It works with the regular version of the game, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the latest version of the localization patch by gringe (Likely because that patch edits the preparations menu by implementing some QoL features like the support viewer). With the localization patch installed, the FE Builder patch does nothing, the shop is still unavailable on Hard Mode. It DOES work when using older versions of the translation, but I would really like to use the most recent one with all of its features. Unfortunately I do not have the slightest clue about hacking and wouldn't know how to enable the armory in HM myself while also using the newest translation patch. You'd likely have to do some Hex edits, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Anyone know if there is a way?

Hi, I am editing a rom for personal use in which I change some characters and I would like to know if there is any way to change the name in all the dialogs at once and not every time the real name appears, for example I want to change "Seth" for my name "Elgard" but I want to do it in a faster way since there are many characters that I am going to change their names, the story of the game remains unchanged. the only thing I am looking for is to change the dialogues in which "Seth" appears for "Elgard". it's possible?
  3. I've been messing around with FEBuilderGBA and have a few questions that I hope I can get answered: 1) Is it possible to change the GBA games to operate on 1RN instead of 2RN? If so, how? 2) Is it possible to implement features like Canto+, negation of enemy terrain bonuses? If so, how? 3) Instead of modifying weapons, is it possible to implement classes with special characteristics such as a class with 1-3 range, 2-3 range, etc? I believe Blazer had some kind of 2-3 range Sniper patch but I've been unable to locate it. I've been perusing the Ultimate Repository (FE) and have found it super helpful thus far. That said, directions to any other sources of advice/information would be greatly appreciated.
  4. As the title implies I'm curious as to how such a thing could be accomplished with as much stability as possible. At present it's just for a little project me and a friend are working on for our own amusement and as anyone new to this sort of enterprise we started tossing ideas at the wall. One of the most common things we ended up coming up with were classes/characters that wielded physical and magical means of combat at the same time. At the moment my computer doesn't want to cooperate and search directly search on this site how much it's been asked about, but the only thing i could find was a several year old conversation with empty links in it. Sorry if this question is answered and I couldn't find it or if this message is a little choppy. I have a ton of information i'm absorbing right now. Thanks in advance! 😄

Hello there Serenes Forest, this is my first ever post so excuse me if I didnt do something I was supposed to do before this, but Im looking for someone to make some custom battle animations for my Fire Emblem 8 Hack. I am (of course) willing to pay, and hopefully we will be able to negotiate a price that is good for both of us. I am looking for two (2) battle animations. One Tier One Class, and one Tier Two Class. Im looking forward to working with whoever takes me up on my offer. Thank you!
  6. Hello everyone! I recently uploaded a Demo-Patch from my first self-made Rom-hack. But thankfully eclipse told me, that there was something wrong with it (oversized and bad link), so I changed it a bit. The file size should be now smaller and better for a download.   7. ~~~~~~Narcian and the Mirror Chamber (Demo)~~~~~~ (Dropbox link at the end) Greetings dear friends! (You can skip the introduction by scrolling down!) My name is Max. I first heard about these Rom-hacks through a Let's Play. (*cough* *cough* Mangs: Sacred Chairs) I really enjoyed it, so I decided to create my own one. Apperently I've found FeBuilderGBA and downloaded it. I had no idea what I was getting in to... First, FeBuilder is a extreme massiv programm at first glance Second, I had no ideas where to start... So I closed the programm and left it for a year. BUT, now I returned with more power and knowledge about hacking and I started my own hack for REAL! It was quite simple for the first chapter, but, the more I got into it, the more problems accured. How to insert music, create special and unique events and so on. I made like around 500 safety copies, cause I always messed something up. But I didn't give up and now I have my very own first 4 chapters. There are still many, many things to change and improve, but whatever! The only thing I couldn't fix was the world map. You'll see by yourself what happened. Still I hope, that when you are really gonna playing my hack, you have much fun and most importantly(!) give me some feedback what I should change/improve! 😉 ~~~~~~Information about the Hack~~~~~~ Creators: Alexandra & Max Title: Narcian and the Mirror Chamber Chapters: Ch0-Ch3 (cause it's just a demo) Gameplay: The first chapters are pretty basic, but chapter 3 got some special objective. Difficulty: It's automatically set an hard. Music: I think I played with custom music the longest. Is it good? You'll hear it. Story: You will see, where I tried to make a good plot and where I just inserted memes... Characters: There are some unique characters...and Gheb.   8. So I'm implementing new classes in my Fire emblem 8, Ballistician is on and I can't get snipers to use the ballista item without not having animations on. It worked for rangers but not snipers (the map sprite and in battle sprite used). The question is should I add in the Fe7 ballista archer sprites or is there a way around it?
