  1. Oreki san, watashi kininarimasu! I want to know which anime your favorite are since there is no topic like this, at least i found no topic like this. I have watched many Anime and have read many Manga and Doujinshi but i want to know what other like. another reason for this topic is for people who don't know anime very well and get a good impression on it, (like some of my Tomodachis at school, who were first like "isn't it this crazy japan shit with tentacle rape and Oppai?" and i introduced them to a good manga(beelzebub) and now they are otakus) you are allowed to say something like "boku no pico", "Mahou Shouio Ai" or "Kuroinu: Kedakaki Seijou wa Hakudaku ni Somaru" or Doujinshi like "Cult of the Lust God" but i would not recommend it since some people my be new in the world of anime and the majority will look at you in a negative way or pissed off -.-'' and your prestige will drastically sink. I'd appriciate if you make a top 3 or 5 or whatever and write the tags that are most fitting My list: Romance/Psychological>Horror/Splatter 1.School days (Romance, Slice of life) (best Anime in EXISTENCE imo) 2.Sakurasou no pet na kanajou (Romance, Slice of life)+Toradora(Romance, Slice of life) 3.Monogatari Series(Psychological, Romance)+Corpse Party(Horror, Splatter) 4.Shiki(Horror, Splatter)+Mirai Nikki(Splatter, Romance) 5.Akame ga kill(Splatter, Superpower)+Steins;Gate(Time-Travel, Romance)
  2. Continuation of the FE4 manga will be on this thread, but please refer to the other FE4 manga thread for Holsety Scans' work for the first five volumes and first two chapters of volume six. Holsety Scans and Fala Scans are composed entirely of different people, and we therefore take no credit for the work they put into their scans/translations. All credit for their contributions goes strictly to them (I've had confusion in the past where we mistaken for also being the old team by people new to the manga). Chapters hosted on Mega. ~ Current situation as of 1/1/2023: Background progress. The remaining chapters might not be posted one at a time or over a period of time. Most likely, they will be put up in groups now. There are a few reasons for this, but our translator has actually finished everything through volume fifteen. We'll roll out chapters later on. This project is still in progress! The translation has been being worked on for a while now! We've gone through our share of long delays for releases for numerous reasons over the years and we've been backed up with cleaning, but currently the translation is going smoothly and we're in volume fourteen for translation! I know it's been literal years since we started this and we've had horribly erratic activity since we stopped being able to update monthly. It's been in the works, just quietly behind the scenes for a while. I appreciate everyone's patience more than I've felt I was able to say (especially because I've been insisting the project hasn't been dropped for goddamn years and we've essentially had nothing to show for it, hence this update to assure y'all it's still in existence and not in some otherworldly, other dimensional plane of existence). I'm currently in talks with a couple of people regarding additions to this project (avoiding specifying particulars at the moment in case we don't go through with it, but I'm hoping to expand in a sense, basically), so if there's any fruit to those I will post about those when they're confirmed! Quality updates are as before still held off until we get some newer releases up. Basically that's when I go back and edit small sections for cleaning or typesetting to make it look better and try to keep it more up to date with our current style/progress as a team. This was our very first project, so I prefer to edit some of our older work where possible to make it look better (unfortunately we're not redoing everything, so some of the oldest stuff from us is still gonna be meh... like some of volume six). That's basically our lowest priority right now. Thank youuuu so much for sticking around and letting the team know you've appreciated our work! 🙇‍♀️ ~ Note: Chapter 66 is currently unavailable. It will be re-added soon. To clarify what happened, because I had not been able to get onto the Mega account that held these files for an extended period of time, the data on the account was deleted by the website. I had these chapters on my old desktop's hard drive and I'm not sure I'll be able to manually pull those off the hard drive at this time. This may also mean in the future that another means of hosting these chapters will be necessary, as Mega will eventually delete the data on the account if I stop logging in for an extended period of time. Someday I may have reason to stop logging into the account, such as all our active projects being completed or the team being on break once the major projects are completed, and the account will be deemed inactive. I will try to eventually find another solution, but Mega is still fine at this time. When things change if they do, I'll let you guys know. ~ Note: If there is not an update date beside the chapter, it has not undergone thorough changes since the date it was released or since the dates listed in the bulk updates section. They may still be updated at a later time even if they don't have a date beside them yet. These updates are for a variety of things such as to fix the color levels, to fix the typesetting, page rotation, if there's been any translation change (which can range from something as small as an sfx to a major change, but any major changes will be noted in a new post), etc. This being the team's first collective major project, we've changed how we manage levels, typesetting, etc since we began. To keep the older chapters as up to date as possible, I eventually go through and edit them. We will not redo entire chapters, so some will still have a different look to them (such as chapter 38 - since it was our very first release, we weren't set on our styles yet but it would require redoing it over from scratch to really fix it now), but I will update them as best I can. Volume 7 and onward have not received their quality updates. This will happen at a later date. Volume six: Volume seven: Volume eight: Volume nine: Volume ten: Volume eleven: Volume twelve: Chapter 68 (Updated 10/10/2021) Chapter 69 Chapter 70 ~ JD's edits: NOTE: Some of these changes may or may not be gone due to an incident regarding Mega (as explained above). This means it's possible the versions I have available at this time uploaded here (as I cannot currently access the files on my old desktop - I'm not sure if this will change, but I still have the hard drive in case I work something out) are not the final versions. Please inform me if chapters are missing any pages! Text positioning/size and minor grammar error edits were done to volume six on 12/21/15. Major edits done for volumes six through nine (chapter 53) on 9/2/2016. Chapters 38-40 edited (date unknown). Major leveling and typesetting edits will be done to all volumes where needed later on. ~ Other information: Current team members are: Jugdral Defender (scanner, cleaner, typesetter), ChildofDain (cleaner/redrawer), kitsudori (cleaner/redrawer), PatMagroyn (cleaner/redrawer), S3RAPH (cleaner/redrawer), and LeifOfLeonsterTranslations (translator). Please note we are always accepting new cleaners! You'll probably notice some blurry edge lines. That's because I did not (and will not) debind my books. We do our best to make it look nice without working with separated pages. Volumes one through six are also very thick volumes, so spine blurs will not be quite so defined as of volume seven and onward. Lastly, please feel free to notify us of any errors (typos, possible missed words, etc.). We'll fix them as soon as possible after hearing about them. Enjoy your share of FE4 pain and all the pain to come!
  3. I'm just curious. Does anyone have any guess/info regarding a western release and translation of the Fire Emblem Engage manga that they announced earlier or is it "cross fingers for a fan translation" as per usual? I know that all the previous ones haven't gotten a western release, but with the adaptation of Engage going so far to be published on the Shonen Jump+, I wondered if we maybe had some hope this time around.
  4. Hey guys. I just found this military isekai novel called Nihonkoku Shoukan (日本国召喚) or Japan Summons/Summoning Japan. It is basically like GATE, but instead of an interdimensional portal appearing in the middle of Japan, the entire country was apparently isekai'd to another world. It is written by someone named Minorou-san. The story is still not finished and is still ongoing to this day. SYPNOSIS In the Great Orient, lies the continent called Rodenius. One day, an unidentified flying object arrived at Qua-Toyne Principality’s airspace. The unidentified flying object defied the Principality’s common sense. But that unidentified flying object was just a harbinger of something even more shocking. Far to the eastern sea, a group of islands suddenly appeared. The country of the islands called itself: Japan. According to them, their nation had been transported to another world. Now finding themselves separated from their old world and must survive in the new one, how will Japan interact with the native countries of this world? Will they greet her as a friend or as an enemy? This is a story of the country called Japan as it was engulfed in the chaotic storm of the world. ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS Unfortunately, the story is Japanese only and it doesn't seem like it would be released overseas anytime soon. So unless you can travel to Japan and understand Japanese, you won't be able to read the novel. However there are some fan translations for this story that you can find on the internet which would help people understand the dialogues and story better. However, only most of the story was translated, so you would have to wait for the translators to finish the rest. You must take note that the story is told through the Web Novel, Light Novel, and Manga. Three of them already have some translations, but as I have mentioned, they still haven't translated the entire story yet. Here are some links to the Web Novel translations: Mob of Deer Hana Bara Hana AvianTL And here are some links to the Light Novel translations: Yukkuri Free Time Literature Service Hana Bara Hana (Light Novel Version) And lastly, here is the link to the Manga translation: Nihonkoku Shoukan - MangaDex NON-TRANSLATED STORY If you can understand Japanese just fine, then you can always check out the raw manga and web novel. Unfortunately, I don't have the Light Novel, so I cannot provide you the Japanese Version of the Light Novel. Raw Manga: ComicWalker Raw Web Novel: Syosetu FAN WIKI Alternatively, if you don't want to read the entire story to know about the places, characters, and events that takes place in the story, just browse to the fan wiki. Just note that some information on the Wiki are pretty inaccurate, but the wiki is your best bet if you want to know about the tiny bits of lore of Nihonkoku Shoukan without reading the entire story. Here is the link to the Fan Wiki: Nihonkoku Shoukan Wiki If you want to read this military isekai, just click on the links of the LN/WN/Manga of Nihonkoku Shoukan (either the translated story, or the raws.) Once you are done, please share your thoughts about it. I would like to hear your thoughts about this story. (Also sorry for my terrible English)
  5. So, I recently got my hands on the Invisible Kingdom/Revelation side manga released for Fates. I’ve been translating it with online translators so I can read it, as I cannot read or speak Japanese, but there’s a few lines of dialogue that either the AI cannot detect the characters used or the translation comes out borderline nonsensical. Can anyone help translate these? Just a quick note—for the first two, the lines I need translated are the ones in black with a white border, in a font that resembles messy/quick handwriting.
  6. Hello! As anyone following me on social media (likely no on reading this thread, I don't have a terribly large following) knows, Navarre is my favorite FE character. Since he's not an overly popular character, I decided about two years ago to start collecting all of the official merchandise featuring him- TCG, artbooks, ect. There aren't really scans for most of these books online (Which is fine, people should buy the books themselves for the text imo but I do wish there were scans of all the artwork available) - a lot of them only have shaky phone pictures. Still, I think I know for the most part which images are from which books. However, upon buying Fire Emblem - The Complete, I found to my surprise, a short manga! (Two, actually, but I haven't scanned the second one yet. The second one is about the whitewings, I think?) I've never seen anyone mention this before... so I'm assuming most people haven't heard of it. I mean, I was doing digging for artwork for two years and didn't find it until I bought the book myself! I've scanned the whole thing and put it in my Google Drive- I also attempted a rough translation, but my Japanese is entirely self taught and not very extensive so I had to rely on Google Translate quite a bit... if anyone who actually can read Japanese sees this, I'd be super happy if you'd give this a quick look and see if I got anything horribly wrong! Here's the raw scans And here's my attempt at an English translation I also don't read enough to know who the artist actually is. If anyone in the know could tell me, that'd be great!
  7. The past year has been an eventful one for Shonen Jump magazine, with the end of giants like Haikyuu, Demon Slayer, and The Promised Neverland, with Black Clover and My Hero Academia entering their final arcs. This has led to a vast number of new series to be greenlit for the magazine, so I was hoping to see what popular opinion is on these new weekly series in the West.
  8. Fire Emblem: Ankokuryuu to Hikari no Ken translation project Hakoda Maki Map 13 onwards As this manga has been licensed, this translation project was founded on and intended for educational purposes only. We fully support the official translation (assuming there will be one at some point). Manga synopsis Before the release of Shadow Dragon, the manga was released in accordance to FE1. This follows the story of Marth and his quest of reclaiming his homeland, although most may know Marth from the Super Smash Bros. series. This manga does not strictly follow the events of the original FE1 game or its remake, but it provides a good insight into the characters and how they behave towards one another during the time of a great war. Familiar faces are seen, although please note not all characters of Shadow Dragon are in the manga. Overall, the series vary on dark and humorous notes. The story follows the general path of the game, however there are turns that are unique to the artist and not present in Shadow Dragon. This series also has an accompanying CD Drama that spans 4 volumes. Downloads and more information about it can be found HERE. Where we stand In terms of translation, Volumes 1, 2 and part of 3 have been translated by a third party HERE as well as raws of the other volumes. There are 12 volumes altogether, with 5 maps to each one. Some may have more to include 'gaiden' chapters, which are basically in-depth flashbacks. This project aims to translate from Map 13 (Volume 3) onwards following the radio silence on the first team's end. As of May, the translation project has two teams involved to speed up the translation process and integrate fully with CalculusWhiz's independent project (...no pun intended). Their translations can be viewed online HERE, but volumes 3-6 have been translated from Chinese, not the original Japanese. As this is a translation of a translation, there are several aspects that fall short, such as the original puns. We appreciate any and all support for the project. Just give us a shout to let us know you're out there and that all this work is making someone in the world happy. Trust me, it's a lot quicker to read than to be behind the scenes. Please also take the time to visit CalculusWhiz's Facebook group for updates, stalker reasons, comments or to support him/us with a like. This is also the first point of release. We also had our website HERE, but we are now no longer able to upload to it. For third party users, this is also a good place to leave comments without having a SF account or disclosing your identity using FB. We hope you continue to follow our progress and thank you for taking the time to read through all this. We will try to update frequently and keep you posted as and when a new map is available. As always, thank you for your patience, hope you enjoy reading and please spread the word! Important announcements May 2012 - The project has branched into two teams. The original team will continue from Volume 3 and CalculusWhiz and I will continue from Volume 7. 1 October 2012 - Maps 13-16 and 31-34 have been enhanced and reuploaded. Please download the relevant files for a more fulfilling experience of Fire Emblem reading. November 7 2012 - Maps will no longer be uploaded singly for download. Instead, files will be uploaded to my SkyDrive, which enables online viewing as well as file downloads. Volume downloads are still available. August 2013 - For no apparent reason, the ddsol site no longer wants us to upload maps onto there. Please note that future maps will be hosted onto SkyDrives, the download links for full volumes and various manga sites such as Animea and MangaFox. 22 May 2014 - Volumes 3,4,5,7,8,9,10 and 11 have been reuploaded for insane consistency and reformatting purposes. Edits include but are not limited to those listed here. Maps 1-12 and CW's maps 29-30.2 will also become available on the SkyDrive for overall easy access of the manga. 11 April 2015 - After over 3 years on this project, final chapter is released. Downloads Maps 1-12 can be downloaded on the Serenes Forest manga page. These are also uploaded on SkyDrive but we do not take credit for them. This was done by the original team some years back. Hakoda notes Volumes 1 and 2 All files from map 13 onwards are available on SkyDrive for online reading and/or download. 9. As the title says, who would die? I have a few ideas, which are the following: Kliff: Dies during the battle at the Southern Outpost, to introduce to the audience the idea that anyone can die Faye: Dies in the aftermath of the defeat of Desaix, having been wounded in the battle and dying after the fact to make the battle seem less victorious. Tobin: Dies during the final battle against Duma, as more fuel for Alm to attack Duma with more power and anger. What do you think? Any bad ideas on mine or any you would add/change?
  10. Welcome to Fala Scans' work on the FE5 manga! This manga gets to around chapter nine character + event wise, give or take, with a lot of things excluded and replaced or simply left out due to the low volume count. These books are slightly short of 200 pages per book. Please enjoy! Edit: I do need to include the cover and stuff still. Forgot about that. As usual. Volume One: Chapter 0
  11. Welcome to more FE4 (and eventually FE5) manga translations! This time, Anthologies and 4Komas! How this is going to be set up: I'm working on these one at a time per book (choosing each new book at random), so each story will be zipped by itself. The file names will end after their page count with the abbreviations of their respective title, so if you plan to dump them all in the same folder, you'll still see where each new story begins and ends. Folders are numbered by the number story before the title so they stay in order and don't end up auto sorted by name and out of book order. Once we complete a book, they'll all be zipped together, and until then individually uploaded. Some of these are utter crack and just silly nonsense, others are completely (or mostly) serious stories, and some are a bit of both - so expect a little bit of everything! Enix Supercomic Gekijoh Vol. 7: My Personal Guardian (Noish/Aira) To Rally Courage (Sylvia centric, implied Alec/Sylvia) Please let us know of any mistakes so they can be fixed!
  12. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts and reactions to the American Live Action Deathnote on Netflix.
  13. The Fates manga Crown of Nibelungen has just gone on sale, in the newest issue of Comic Zero Sum. I doubt anyone has had the chance to read it yet, but the magazine did release a nice piece of promotional art for the series launch.
  14. Because the NES and SNES board covers so many games, it also has the most number of pinned topics. To save a bit of scrolling time, I've unpinned some of the older topics belonging to complete projects. Instead, you can find links to them in this pinned topic instead. Note: You are allowed to post in the linked topics no matter the date of the last post. 15. http://zeldauniverse.net/2015/07/02/akira-himekawa-has-started-work-on-a-new-legend-of-zelda-manga/ Yup. I went searching for the reason TWW was never adopted beyond a 4koma series by another artist and found this. And I feel horrible for being such a fan of their LoZ work and not knowing. So yeah /pointless Glaceon rambling
  16. Anyone know any anime a manga that resemble Fire Emblem? Whether it be wars, magic, creatures, dragons, pegasus, weapons, characters, status, circumstances, tactics, etc. The only one that I know that bears a striking resemblance is an anime called: Madan no Ou to Vanadis (The King of the Magic Bullet and Vanadis) Info Links: http://myanimelist.net/anime/24455/Madan_no_Ou_to_Vanadis https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=69978 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Marksman_and_Vanadis I have also read and watched all the Fire Emblem manga and anime available on the internet. If anyone, regardless if its only a tiny bit similar, I would love to know more. Thanks for reading.
