  1. I did saw Nintendo just dropped a new trailer that is a mainline game. The trailer shows that it takes place before all the previous FE entries that it's a prequel to the the entire franchise. It's features a protagonist named Shirin that created the world of Fire Emblem and Naga appears as a teenager helps him in his quest to bring peace in the corrupted world and ended the first war called "War of Destruction". There are ancestors of the legacy FE characters appeared in this game similar to like how Pokemon Legends Arceus was handled and the world is called Inertia. Here's the link of the trailer that I found.

    Tough choice

Hello guys, So here's my situation, I'm playing for the first time Fire Emblem 6 in hard mode directly and it was kinda difficult to get where I am (at chapter 9 at the moment and it took about 10 + hours) The thing is I let Sue die in a very stupid way where I put her in a risky situation without any reasons, but sinceI restarted the chapter twice already I said fck it because bow units aren't really good in Fire Emblem anyway and I think I get get a similar one later on. But now (at chapter 9) I realize that I need Sue to recruit that Shin guy... who looks really good. And from my researchs FE 6 is one of the best game for bow units. And the fact that I screwed up almost all the Sacae line kinda annoys me.. (I still can have Fir tho) So I just wanted to have your opinion on this guys.. Is it worth restarting a new game in order to not let Sue die and get Shin ? It's 10 hours.. If it was a chapter I'd have do it instantly but I didn't know back then so a new game is a bit more annoying x) Oh and I guess there is NO way to get Shin on the current game whatever I do right ? sigh
  3. I, err, noticed the SLIGHT problem that there wasn't a "challenges" category. I guess there aren't really that many people who like to shake up Fire Emblem. Well, I'm going to change that! These new ways to play Fire Emblem are sure to make you and your friends laugh like morons, cry like little babies, and rage, either at bullcrap RNG or at each other's dumb mistakes! 1: The Common Challenges 2: Less Common Challenges 3: Multiplayer Challenges So, what's your opinion on these challenges? Leave your thoughts and I'll see you next time.
  4. I have three different radical ideas for future Fire Emblem games, but since I don't want to flood the forum with three new topics in a short amount of time, I have consolidated these ideas into a single topic. Also, feel free to share your own radical ideas. Spinning off Fire Emblem Awakening into a separate subseries. This newly spun-off subseries will inherit gameplay mechanics such as the custom Avatar, Second Seals, a traversable world map, unlimited grinding, branching promotions, etc. Meanwhile, the "main" subseries will feature a more "traditional" gameplay system. The main downside is the extra development costs in maintaining two parallel subseries, unless they only make one FE at a time, alternating between the two subseries, which would defeat the whole purpose of a separate FEA subseries except with regards to branding. Having an army composed entirely of player-made custom characters. Instead of having an army of premade, developer-created characters with the occasional custom Avatar, how about an entire army of custom, player-created characters? I came up with this idea as a possible solution to end the shipping wars. Incorporating Skylanders-type figures as an optional feature of the game. When I was watching a video about the Nintendo 2DS, an unboxing video for collectable Pokemon Rumble U figures was in the suggested videos column. The suggestion's thumbnail piqued my interest, so I decided to click on it. When I watched the video, I learned that Pokemon Rumble U had a feature similar to Skylanders and the upcoming Disney Infinity, and I also learned about a feature of the Wii U that I didn't even know existed: that the Wii U GamePad had a built-in Skylanders-type scanner. After watching the video, I thought, what if something similar was incorporated into a Wii U FE game as an optional feature? FE Skylanders-type figures could be used to unlock new characters, new character classes, and/or boost the stats of existing characters. So, what do you guys think? If Intelligent Systems decides to implement a combination of the above ideas, idea #2 and idea #3 can be reconciled by having the FE figures unlock einherjar, powerful pregens, new classes for existing characters, and/or stat boosts for existing characters.
