  1. So, I've become nostalgic for the Nintendo 3DS and its game library as of recent, and wish to get a good chunk of 3DS games on my shelf again (used to own a 3DS and a good bunch of games in the past, but I lost my old system and games). I recently bought a 2DS (don't judge me) and am now deciding on which first-party 3DS games are worth buying. I know it's 2022 and the Nintendo Switch has basically replaced the 3DS since 2017, but the 3DS always held a special place in my heart for being a fun handheld system that alleviated my boredom from 2011-2017. Plus, I'm the kind of guy who likes to hold onto older game systems in order to play some games that can only be played on that particular system. Only first-party 3DS games are what I'm really looking for, since I don't really care much for the third-party titles that have been released for the system. As long as it's Nintendo, I'd say it counts (but hey, if there's a really, REALLY good third-party 3DS game you can think of, I'll at least consider it if you do mention one). I won't list which games I fully intend to buy, as I'd like to see a few recommendations or opinions beforehand. Though I will list a good few games that I'm on the fence about. First-Party 3DS games I'm on the fence with (Updated): Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity, Metroid: Samus Returns, Mario Party: The Top 100, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic games 3DS versions (Own the console versions on Wii and Wii U respectively), Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation (It's more of a third DLC route, but I figured that I'd still include it) and WarioWare Gold. Feel free to recommend any first-party 3DS games that come to mind, as I'm wondering which games are worth the buy in 2022, and which ones aren't really worth it.
  2. I have a specific question about SD Cards and the Nintendo 3DS Console since I have a 32 GB SD Card getting filled up room and my substitute 8 GB can't handle more large data after getting the stuff from the Nintendo eShop before it closes on March 2023 when I buying two Nintendo 3DS games were on sale were Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 and Persona Q2. I did manage to buy a 64 GB MicroSD Card with a SD Card Reader at Fred Meyer at a Sale that is a PNY Brand, a message pops up that the 64 GB MicroSD Card with the SD Card Adaptor couldn't read the memory. Does all original Nintendo 3DS consoles actually hold up to 32 GB or is the Specific Brand of SD Card (something like a SanDisk or Kingston for example) that is above 32 GB allows to read for the original Nintendo 3DS Console? I wanted to get a lot of Digital Downloads added into my Nintendo 3DS Console before March 2023.
  3. I did saw GameXplain mentions some bad news for some players who purchases stuff from an official Nintendo of Japan Twitter account that has been announced that both ending Credit Card Purchases and Payment Methods for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eShop around in 2022 in Japan. If you're still using Credit Card purchases that not using those Prepaid Cards that you might want to purchase the necessary stuff like games and DLCs. I am still planning on buying the rest of the DLC content in my Wii U console along with getting the other Nintendo 3DS downloadable only titles and other DSiWare games in my Nintendo 3DS system.
  4. So, I don't know how to post pictures (and I don't really care at the moment) but... http://i.imgur.com/jM6AsDZ.jpg I was playing Smash 3DS, and I just simply did a forward air with Marth, and as I slid my finger, which was on the Circle Pad, back into its normal position, I lifted my finger, and the Circle Pad came off. I've looked around the internet, and apparently Nintendo does indeed fix these things, but at like, half the price of a brand new 3DS. I don't plan on keeping this thing for much longer. I've had it since Day 1 release, and honestly, if a bundle 3DS for the new FE comes here to the Americas, I'm buying that in a heartbeat. I've tried playing without it, but the spot where the circle pad was is starting to hurt my hand. Does anyone have any ideas? A simple solution, that doesn't require much work??
  5. I made the same topic somewhere else, but I just felt the need to share this and see everyone else's Record High. So here's my record so far!
  6. I'm not entirely sure if this sort of thread is in the right forum, so apologies in advance. As some of you may have already know, I enjoy taking screenshots of Fire Emblem Awakening and posting them on Miiverse. However, recently, my 3DS XL system has begun to act up. Despite using the same credentials like my PC does to be connected to the Internet, my 3DS XL is having a very hard time remaining connected or even be connected to the Internet. I can't use it to go to Miiverse, the eShop or onto the 3DS Internet Browser, though there are some instances in which it acts as normal, albeit for a short amount of time. I did connection tests on it -- the results are that it takes a very long time to confirm that it is connected to the Internet (rarely), or that the connection test failed due to the network being busy or problems in the connection environment (often) [Error code: 003-2102]. Attempts to go onto Miiverse either sends me to Miiverse (Offline Mode), an Error message screen [Error code: 022-5548], or just leaves the 3DS being stuck in trying to connect to the Internet. Returning to the Home Menu after giving up trying to connect or after failing to connect to the Internet results in the 3DS taking a VERY long time returning to the Home Menu or even freezing, forcing me to turn off the game and lose unsaved game data. I can still access Miiverse via PC and mobile as normal. Also, throughout the whole mess, even putting it to sleep mode seems to make it act screwy at times -- there are times when I open the system back up, it was either stuck with black screens or even not come out of sleep mode (the blue light still blinks even when the system was open one time). Just what the heck is going on?! Help will be greatly appreciated!
  7. I figured I'd make this, considering I have barely anyones friend codes on my 3DS Although I don't have like almost any internet access with my 3DS so when I can I'll add all of you people who wish to add me Also this can be a general "add" thread. Jedi Friend Code: 4871 - 3983 - 7566
