  1. Download the lastest version here! (FE4) Download the lastest version here! (FE5) Download FE4's intro here! Hey guys, I'm not trying to make money with this remake, I only use Patreon as a media for easier access and easier management with other projects I'm working on, right now. The Remake is free for everyone and the subscription is not required, only if you want to donate something yourselves. Tell me what you think about this project so far! Fire Emblem IV-V: The Holy War is remake of Fire Emblem 4: Genealogy of the Holy War and Fire Emblem 5: Thracia 776 using the Lex Talionis Engine. It aims to be a new take on an SNES classic, adapting some features from the original to GBA ones as necessary, yet trying to stay faithful to the source material, rebalancing the levels, stats, weapons and places like the arena and the shops. Chapters are going to be done as huge as they were in the original game, being a total of 12 FE4 maps + 35 FE5 maps of variable length. Later, we aim to rewrite a little, only the necessary, of FE4 and FE5 stories so they fit as only 1, making it fluent to side with Sigurd, Seliph and Leaf (names used are going to be discussed in a form for every release if needed). Important note about playing As said before, this is made with Lex Taliones Engine, which means it is not a romhack, but a game itself, so no patches are needed, no roms from snes, no cheats of that kind. To start playing execute the GotHW776.exe file. Here you have the FEE3 from 2021 so you can see a demonstration of how the project goes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6ZjmkXQ--8 Credits inside the game. Most of them to FEuniverse and Serenes Forest Communities Plans for game versions Version 0.1.0 Add Prologue. Version 0.2.0 Add Chapter 1. Version 0.3.0 Add Chapter 2. and so on Version 1.0.0 Fully remade FE4's 2 Generations. Version 1.1.0 First FE5 map added and so on Version 2.0.0 Fully remade FE5's story and maps, now fitting with FE4's. ChangeLog and Features Download the full ChangeLog and Features file here! Notes Though I'm having all support I could ask from Rainlash and other people from the Lex Talionis Community it's still only me remaking everything, so there may be cosmeticals bugs and errors with some animations and sprites. Feel free to point them out to remind me of them if you wish. If you find any gamebreaking bugs, do post about it as soon as possible so I can look for a solution and issue a fix patch. ### Requires To run the game you need to download and install the following: Python 3.7.X+ Pygame 1.9.4+
  2. There isn't much more to say. As revealed in the "Pokemon Presents" video earlier today, Diamond and Pearl remakes are coming! Under the titles "Brilliant Diamond" and "Shining Pearl", they are expected to be released late in 2021 - although, no release date has been made official. Here's the trailer, for those not yet in-the-know. So, what do we think about what's been revealed? Are the chibis charming, or stomach-churning? Does this look like what you were hoping for out of a Sinnoh remake, or does this one miss the mark? What do you hope they change, and keep the same, this time around? And will you be buying this game, or passing on it? I'd love to hear everyone's feedback! And yes - I recognize a topic already exists speculating on potential Gen IV remakes. But as those remakes have moved from the realm of "potential" into "announced", I believe another thread is warranted.
  3. A port of a game is an old game modified to run on a new system, a remake is a reconstruction of an old game from a modern lens, and a remaster is something in-between. However, in recent years, I've been ever-increasingly noticing something I think should be considered a fourth category: a reskin. Basically, it occurs when a game is developed in the hopes of getting the profile and profit of a proper remake or remaster, but it only puts in the effort of a port, and to hide that fact, the game is given just enough superfluous changes that the marketing can call it a remake or a remaster, even though the game may as well just be a port. These superfluous changes being mostly visual, and usually never actually a visual enhancement; just a visual change, is the reason I thought "reskin" would be a good name for this. What do you think? Do you think it deserves its own label? Can you think of any particular examples? Also, if anyone has an idea for a better title for this topic, please let me know.
  4. Video game remakes have come in many different forms, from ones that tried to preserve the original as much as possible, like Ocarina of Time 3D, to remakes where the approach was to give the game a complete overhaul and bring it up to date for a modern audience, such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Fire Emblem has had three remakes so far: Shadow Dragon, New Mystery of the Emblem, and Shadows of Valentia. The former two would definitely fall into the "preservation/throwback" type of remake, while Shadows of Valentia is more of a directionless mix between the two philosophies. What type of video game remake do you prefer, and which one do you think would be best suited for Fire Emblem game remakes going forward?
  5. How would you guys want Mark to play as in the remake?
  6. Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones the Definitive Edition? FE Echoes: Sacred Stones/Shadows of Magvel? or just a new title like Fire Emblem: Twin Dragons? What would you want it to be called?
  7. Hello everyone, so I've recently been working on a remake of fe6. Basically fe6 ported to fe8. I'd like to think your opinion about it. This project will include; -Better text -QoF patch (even though I'd love to have more mechanics like a strength and magic split) -Display all weapons patch -more weapons (like Noble Rapier etc.) -Blinking frames for the portraits and recoloured and lastly! -nothing here have some screenshots
  8. PROJECT DISCORD: https://discord.gg/Z8EwVyp What is this? GFE1R, or Generic FE1 Remake, is a remake of the first Fire Emblem, Shadow Dragon and the Blade of light, aiming to give the game more of a gba feeling. it also features a working tactician system(Screenshots coming later), A halfbody system, skills, and in the future a game modifiers screen which will allow you to modify your game experience(example: making the classes randomized.) Screen Gallery If I want to make a halfbody, how do I make it conform to the format, and how do I submit it? First of all, here is the halfbody hackbox. it is very similar to the normal hackbox, except the yellowgreen-ish part of the hackbox is for the second palette. the body part is allowed to have a second 16 colors(15+bg) palette, for convenience. Here is an example mug. as for how to submit a halfbody, either post it here on the thread when completed, or join the discord and post it there. posting on both is reccomended, though.

  10. Now that three houses has come out, I think it would be cool to see some Tellius remakes for the new generation. Here are a few Ideas I'm hoping IS adds if they ever make any remakes. 1. Give the dawn brigade more chapters, I'd really like to see how they met in the first place and how they bonded as a group. 2. Supports are a must, especially for the dawn brigade and new characters like Kyza. 3. No Astrid X Makalov PLEASE 4. Give my boy Sothe a more important role in part 4, it seems like they kinda dragged him along in the original and they gave him a back seat to Ike and Micaiah (oh, i'm sorry, Yune). I may be biased because he's my fav, but Sothe is a truly unique main character for fire emblem and he still has a lot of potential. 5. Make Sothe more viable for part 4 as well. Make sure he doesn't fall behind. 6. Tormod definitely needs more screen time. he shows up in part 1 for, like 3 missions, and then joins again before the endgame during which time he is seriously underleveled (but good if you bother to train him). 7. I would love it if all the dialogue including the supports was fully voiced like it is in Three houses. 8. It would be cool if they gave us more lore on Tellius 9. I really hope they address the unequal lifespans between Laguz and Beorc more. IT rarely gets talked about. I really hope they address it because it is definitely could be a major theme with much potential. It could play a huge role in the rift between the beorc and laguz as well as how characters see themselves or each other. Seriously, they could do a lot with this and it deserves more than just passing mentions in dialogue. This is BIG (although it might be a better theme for a 3rd tellius game, if we ever get one). 10. More info on the Crimean rebellion and how it relates to the overall story. Maybe make the Campaign longer. 11. Give Volug more dialogue, if you read his translated quotes you will realize he has the potential to be a truly hilarious and well written character. 12. it'd be cool to see what Hatari looks like (again, might be sequel material though). 13. Buff Leonardo and make Meg not bad. 14. I think the characters and the world would look gorgeous with Three houses' art style or an improved version of it, but maybe that's just me. I definitely think Tellius deserves a few remakes or maybe a sequel, probably, perhaps, maybe.
  11. So it seems there are leaks that say Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn will be the next games to be remade. If that’s the case, do you think IntSys would incorporate gameplay elements from 3H in the remake? Since the 2 most recent mainline fe games have 3D explore-able environments, I think it would be cool for Ike/the main lord at the time of the game ran around a 3D base where the shops and stalls would be and where he could activate the special base conversations. Sure, that would make the menus for the base to be revised and a bit less efficient, but it would be cool to walk around and talk to the different members of your army. The base doesn’t have to be as large as the monastery, but I think the base would be cool. What do you all think?
  12. So this is something I've been hoping for a very long time now. Radiant Dawn is one of my favorite games but of course I know it has it's issues, like everything else, so if the game was to be remade what are some changes you would make? I'm interested to know what you would change or what you already really like about the game!
  13. So given that whole thing with the "Echoes" title, I keep thinking about other remakes in the series. Given that 6/7 are my favourite games I came up with a bit of a plan as to how I would go about remaking these games to not only appeal to the whole audience of fire emblem fans, new and old, but also stay true to their original formulae as much as possible. How would it work? The game would be a fusion of Blazing Sword and Sword of Seals. Given that 6 follows on from 7 in terms of the story of Elibe this would be easy to impliment. After finishing Lyn, Eliwood and Hector's story the player would unlock the ability to play through the story of Roy and Lilina. However, the aftergames of each would be indipendant of each other, meaning that the player could keep their progress in the age of Blazing Sword while playing through the story of Sword of Seals, and vice versa. So why fuse the two games? I believe mixing the two games would be the best option here due to the success of the two most recent Fire Emblem games; Awakening and Fates. While there aren't too many, some characters from 7 will have children who become playable in 6, Roy, Lilina, Wolt, Sue and Lugh to name a few. This means that pairs chosen in 7 will actively influence the stats of characters found in 6. In addition, some characters are playable in both games, such as Marcus and Bartre. These characters could perhaps carry statistics or even items over in the transition of games. What would I change? The bigest and most necessary change I would make would be to make the tactician from Fire Emblem 7 playable. In order to make this game as much of a success as Awakening and Fates, I honestly think this needs to be implemented into the game. I understand that the tactician couldn't fight in the original version, but is it really so far-fetched for them to be able to swing a sword about or throw a fireball or two? The avatar would have to start weak, but because they would be in every single chapter, even after the split at the end of Lyn's story they would quickly catch up. In addition, the tactician would be able to romance any character they wanted to, within the bounds of the story (Meaning already married characters like Dorcas, Pent and Louise are off-limits.) They would go on to have a son/daughter who will become the tactician for Roy's army, or even potentially the brother of Roy, Lilina, Sue or sister of Wolt or Lugh. Perhaps the point in the story at which you meet this new character would depend on who their parent is. Mechanical changes? Apart from the points I've made, and the obvious graphical updates the games would generally remain true to the originals. There ARE however a few mechanical changes I think should happen... Reclassing should be present, but limited. Ditch Fates' complex reclass system in favour for a simplified version of Awakening's. Characters should be able to reclass, but only into very similar classes. For instance, Rath, a Nomad, should be able to reclass into an Archer or a Mymidon. Nothing else. Sain, the lance-loving Cavalier should be able to reclass into a Knight, nothing else. I say this because I think the game SHOULD be updated to an extent, but should also try to stay true to the original formula. Awakening and Fates' skill system should be brought through... but ditch Fates' skill market. Linking with reclassing, I think the new style skills system should be present in the game. It gives reclassing a purpose, but won't be blatantly overpowered because the class options for each character will be very limited. Use Sacred Stones' split premotion system, but keep the original premotion items. Giving players the choice of which class they want to make each unit makes each playthrough more personal. I think it would be perfectly fine for a unit such as Kent to have the ability to become a Great Knight, or Rutger to have the ability to become an Assassin. Maybe new classes would have to be implemented to support this though, because I'm not too sure what a Nomad would premote into besides a Nomadic Trooper. In addition, the original premotion items will be kept. Depending on your class, you use a different item to premote. Maybe simplify this from the original though by letting Pirates and Thieves premote using the Fighter's Seal... Weapons break. Get used to it. A small point, but true to classic Fire Emblem games weapons will still be able to break, even uniques like the Manni Katti or Wolf Beil. Get with the program, Fates... Use Fates' pair up system over Awakening's. Bacause I'd be making support a more pivotal part of the story in this remake, pairing up would have to be present. Not like Awakening's power trippy version, but like a honed down version of Fates'. The attack stance would also be a part of the game, but the damage of the secondary attacker should probably be cut down a bit. Introduce a world map. I would give the game a world map similar to that found in the Sacred Stones and Awakening. It allows players to more easily understand the continent, access shops, as well as gives an easy way of accessing DLC. Speaking of which... EXP grind DLC maps and Arenas return. Arenas returning was a given, but being a new FE game I feel as though I HAVE to let players have a way of grinding for EXP. Of course it's your decision if you want to make the game a walk in the park mid way through, but I think there are probably a few fans that have to rely on these maps... So there you go, those are my ideas. I know a lot of people will disagree with a lot of what I've preposed here, but everything is my own opinion. Let me know what you think.
  14. I've been wondering for a while what's next for FE and also what the fanbase is hoping for. We've got 3H DLC coming for a while still, but I have to imagine IS are already working on plans for the next entry. And with FE growing bigger than ever with each new entry since Awakening, there's quite a lot of possibilities imo. I think it's generally assumed they're working on an FE4 remake, but the director of SoV did state he wanted to do FE6 next, so it isn't a sure thing. There's also the possibility of a new Warriors game or another spinoff, remasters, and classic games being added to the Japanese Nintendo Switch Online app. That's without even considering a new game or follow up to 3H. So what would everyone prefer to see next? For the first question, try limiting yourself to your top 3 most wanted choices. Also, if discussing possible follow ups to Three Houses, please spoiler tag anything that reveals details about the story. I personally do want to see an FE4 remake next, as I feel it could build on the engine they've got for 3H and as it was sort of an inspiration for the story this time, it makes sense to remake it now. I'd also love a Tellius remaster double pack, as it's my favourite FE world. And finally, I'd love some sort of follow up to Three Houses, as I think Fódlan has a lot of potential still and we haven't really had a direct sequel/prequel in a while. Thoughts?
  15. If the game gets a remake sometime in the future, here I ahve a few ideas for some VA's, give ideas if any of them don't match: Lyn: Wendee Lee Sain: Chris Cason Kent: Kyle Herbert Wil: Kyle McCarley Florina: Julie Kliewer Dorcas: Kirk Thornton Serra: Kate Higgins Erk: Chris Hackney Rath: Travis Willingham or Marc Diraison Matthew: Ben Diskin Nils: Max Mittelman Ninian: Brianna Knickerbocker Eliwood: Yuri Lowenthal Lucius: Michael Sinterniklaas Wallace: Mike Pollock Marcus: Robert Clotworthy Lowen: Sam Riegel Rebecca: Hunter McKenzie Austin Bartre: Kyle Herbert Hector: Patrick Seitz Oswin: Chris Smith Guy: Todd Haberkorn Merlinus: DC Douglas Priscilla: Marcella Lentz-Pope Raven: Bryce Papenbrook Canas: Joe Zieja Dart: Kaiji Tang Fiora: Erica Mendez Legault: Christopher Bevins Isadora: Cherami Leigh Heath: Johhny Young Bosh Hawkeye: Jamieson Price Geitz: Doug Erholtz Pent: Erick Vale Louise: Caitlin Glass Karel: Bryce Papenbrook Harken: Robbie Daymond Nino: Sarah Blandy Jaffar: Kirk Thornton (replacing Walden James) Vaida: Lauren Landa Renault: John Swasey Athos: Doug Stone Farina: Brina Palencia Karla: Allegra Clark Lloyd: Kaiji Tang Linus: Joe Brogie Ursula: Misty Lee Ephidel: Xander Mobus Limstella: Lauren Landa Sonia: Tara Sands
  16. ... how do you think it would work? What plot elements or mechanics do you think will remain or change? This is just for fun! So, I honestly believe there will be a Jugdral remake in a few years from now. I didn't think it possible at first but then the Gaiden remake came, and if a Gaiden remake is possible, more so a Jugdral one; Seisen no Keifu is a lot of people's favorite entry in the series as well as one of my personal favorites too, and I'm sure IntSys is aware of the former. That being said, there are certain elements I don't think will make it in this time and age, but that are nonetheless of critical importance to the plot of the game (mostly the incest bit). So this is how I think (or hope?) the remake could make it: Genealogy and Thracia chapters will be all in one game. FE4 and FE5 are games that complement each other, so much so it would be hard to sell them separately, as opposed to when they first came out, since Thracia was released 3 years later. Also, they're not really that long because of the limitations of the console back then, and this time the remake would be in the Switch. This is something I've seen done in other games, or like in the remake for Devil Survivor 2 in which they added a whole new arc where there was originally just one, so it is possible. I don't think the maps will be as big, although I actually liked that and would prefer it to stay. But generally speaking, people didn't seem to like that, so they'll probably make the maps smaller (I don't think they can divide them). This would also fit well with my two-games-in-one idea . They'll tone down the incest thing, maybe turning them into cousins instead of siblings, since the important part is the blood more than how closely related they are. Although, I know the cousins deal is taken differently according to the country and culture. Where I come from, it's whatever, kinda weird but not considered incest. There will be no mention of sacrificing babies. They'll probably change it to older children or teens. Nintendo isn't ready to mention babies or toddlers; otherwise, if we were to be realistic, Garon would have tried to kill Corrin off since the beginning instead of locking them up . As for the game mechanics, I think they'll stay the same and they'll blend some from both games, like adding that mechanic in FE5 about mounted units being on foot when inside a castle or similar. But how do you guys think it would go? would you like a FE4/FE5 remake? Or maybe you think it would never make it into existence?
  17. Now that Shadows of Valentia has been released and has found success in Japan and all over the world, it seems like IS wants to continue the "Echoes" sub-series. For now it seems like they're leaning toward remaking Binding Blade but I can still hope that Genealogy of the Holy War will get a glorious and proper remake. Assuming that a Genealogy Echoes will be released, what kind of things do you want to see in it? I have a few ideas: Lots and lots of animated cut scenes. GotHW has the best story in FE so I would love to see as much of it developed as possible. Side-stories, flashbacks, all that good stuff. Breaks during the chapters. It not news to anyone that the maps are huge and have a lot of empty space, so breaking them up with cut scenes and a camp or something will make the maps less overwhelming. Add the possibility to get ALL holy weapons. Make it so Lex's kids can inherit Helswath and Azel's kids can get Valflame, etc. Return of the Turnwheel mechanic but obviously with some other lore-friendly gimmick More lovers(support) conversations for all the characters Bonus chapters for other scenarios like Ares retaking Agustria Excellent orchestrations of the OST and new music Fully voice acted(or mostly like SoV) Being able to pair Seliph and Julia without a glitch Adapt that sweet, sweet Eldigan arc from the Oosawa manga That's what I had in mind, anyone have other thoughts? Ideas? I want to know what other people expect for a game like this.
  18. I haven't played Genealogy of the Holy war yet so I know next to nothing about the story save for the one plot point that keeps getting spoiled by dumb memes, but I've heard from the FE Wiki that the Manga for Genealogy of the Holy War expands on the plot, characters and world so I thought I'd ask those of you who've played FE4 if a potential remake game should adapt that manga or if you'd be satisfied with an expansion of the game itself. Feel free to let me know if there's already been an ask like this.
  19. How would you feel if FE7 got a full remake? This includes, A customizable avatar, Marriage, Voice Acting, Child units and updated graphics. I personally don't think it'll happen due to the "casual" side of fire emblem games lately. I'd also like to discus critical quotes, voice actors and the like.
  20. Remake of FE Sacred Stones, all or most of it (Nintendo probably isn't going to do it anytime soon...) November 23rd update to this topic WHAT IS PLANNED (and may change): ---Changed growths to both allies and enemies ---New story and events, characters will be more flushed out in main story rather than supports. Some will even have different roles or classes. ---Changes to character roster to include...expendable units. ---Increased difficulty, and I mean INCREASED. ---NEW MAPS with more complicated objectives (For example, Escape, Defend certain areas) ---Will plan to include an OPTIONAL stealth mission similar to the one in PoR, but better. ---World map changes? ---Skills and stuff like that PROGRESS AND UPDATES: Well...I'm in college and finals are coming up in a couple weeks. I do have a month of break, so I will work on this then. However, I still am learning how to make events, such as the Vanilla Seth vs Valter fight at the beginning. I somewhat have the difficulty down, and I know what the story for the first "arc" if I can put it that way, will be. I still need to make all/most of the maps. I need to learn about how to code in skills and stuff like that. I want to learn how to make character portraits and animation, though I probably will hold off on those two for now. I can't really say when the first STORY patch will be, but, if nothing goes wrong, I may have one for mid January. NOTE: This can all change, nothing is concrete at the moment. WHAT I NEED HELP WITH AT THE CURRENT TIME (if someone is willing, but I won't ask you to come forward, only offer if you are interested in long periods of silence from me, I don't even know the full extent of what I need yet.) ---Portraits/mugs ---Some animations and palettes. ---Map design, difficulty. THANKS FOR LISTENING Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope I won't let you down...If you have any questions, feel free to post them, but I don't know how much I'll be able to answer depending on the question. Suggestions, of course, are welcome. A difficulty patch for Prologue-chapter 2 will be released sometime in the next few weeks. THANKS AGAIN. <3
  21. Does anyone else not like the voice acting in SoV? Maybe it's just me, but something turned me off about it. Honestly while playing the first time, I didn't like the game as a whole and I couldn't pinpoint why, but after second run with VA off, I really like it. And it's not like there was anything WRONG with the actual voice acting, more with the fact that EVERY SINGLE LINE is read to you and you just have to sit there and listen when you've already read what they're going to say, or just cut them off in the middle of their sentences and get weird sounds of "Alm, let's--I don't kno-- In that ca--Okay." I know this happens in many other games too but I always liked that Fire Emblem avoided it. To contrast, I love the lines that were voiced during dungeon exploration. I wish there had been more to that, maybe because you actually have something to do while they're talking at you. I dunno. Did anyone else feel this way? Am I just weird?
  22. Since Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, Mystery of the Emblem, and Gaiden managed to get a remake into Shadow Dragon, New Mystery of the Emblem, and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and they do add more characters to the story. There are like 6 new playable characters and 5 new boss enemies that were added in Shadow Dragon, 2 new playable characters and new 3 boss enemies that were added in New Mystery of the Emblem while they managed to get the rest of the playable characters from Shadow Dragon into New Mystery of the Emblem, and they did add 2 new in-game playable characters, 4 new boss enemies, added the four Cipher characters as DLC, putted Jarth as a new enemy DLC boss, and the final boss in the post game content after Act 5. How many playable characters and new non-playable characters do you think the future remakes will might possibly get added? I don't know about how many brand new characters we could get for the possible Judgral remakes as this point, but I think we could see a new member for Sigurd's Holy Knights + new mother (or the new member in Sigurd's Holy Knights is a female) and a new member, possibly 2 new children, and 2 new subtitutes incase if a new mother character gets added in the first generation for Seliph's army + add the rest of the Thracia 776 characters into Seliph's story for a new Gaiden/Paralogue chapters similar to like how New Mystery of the Emblem manages to get the rest of the Shadow Dragon characters and the Archanea Saga characters into the remake. But, maybe a few new antagonists in either of the remakes to help the story like Berkut and Frenand in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and the Assassins in New Mystery of the Emblem. For a Thracia 776 remake, I think we could see a new character joins Leif's group. For the Elibe remakes, I do like to see if they can add a brand new main character, give Roy a half-sibling similar to like how Celica has a half-brother gotten added in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, a Mercenary Girl to the Binding Blade remake since Echidna is the only female Hero in the game, and an unit starts off as an Assassin since that class was added in the Prequel, and possibly put some of the returning characters that aren't killed in the prequel such as Nils, Rebecca, Serra, Matthew, etc. from The Blazing Blade into the story as playable or NPCs for The Binding Blade remake, I don't know about for new characters for The Blazing Blade remake though, maybe add an another Lorca tribe survivor (possibly as Lyn's sibling or friend)? For The Sacred Stones remake, I think of they could might possibly add 2 new members for Eirika's and Emphriam's squad and add more new characters into the story. For the Tellius remakes, I think they will might add at least new members for the Greil Mercenaries (either the Path of Radiance remake and return in the Radiant Dawn remake or put them in Radiant Dawn remake after Ike appears since the Greil Mercenaries didn't get a single new member after the Mad King's War ended) along with new characters that gets recruited in a few new Gaiden/Paralogue chapters or in the main story like Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem. And a new member in the Dawn Brigade and a new character later on as well in the Radiant Dawn remake.
  23. This is a patch for a remake of FE2 (Because I despise 50 shades of Valentia) I don't have enough time to do a change log, So I might do one tomorrow, Anyways, Enjoy, Also, Apply to an English FE8 ROM. Fire Emblem - Shadows Of Magvel.ups
  24. I just wondering about this for a while about the Substitute Characters from Genealogy of the Holy War. I know like they're replacements if one of the mother's didn't married to one of the fathers nor gave birth to the existing children. But, do you guys might wonder where the Substitute Characters might have went off to during at the Child Hunt while their counterparts exist in case if one of the mothers married and gave birth to one of the two off springs (one son and one daughter each) before/after Chapter 5 happened during at Seliph's army in Part 2? I don't think one of the Substitute Characters were mentioned nor make an appearance in Thracia 776 and Awakening as well. And plus, I did see some of the substitute characters were planned to appear in Thracia 776 such as Jeanne (Nanna's counterpart since Nanna had a major role in Thracia 776), Asaello (Febail's counterpart), Daisy (Patty's counterpart), and the other Green haired Female unit that is definitely Hermina (Fee's counterpart and plus, Ced is in Thracia 776 while his own sister isn't in Thracia 776 which you can't recruit Ced and Fee & Hermina and Hawk at the same time during at the Second Part of the story line) were cut in the final version for Thracia 776. And plus, there wasn't any unused data of Hawk and Tristan were founded in Thracia 776 since Ced and Diarmuid are in the final version of Thracia 776. I kinda wondering if Intelligent Systems could make a special Xenologue chapter arcs focus on the substitute characters to have their own story while they aren't in Seliph's army and they're counterparts existed during at the game's plot in case if they're going to plan on making a Genealogy of the Holy War remake in the future similar to like how they did with the Heirs of Fate chapters in Fates.
  25. With Gaiden getting a remake and the fact that many of us now presume that Echoes is going to be a subseries or remakes, what would you like in a hypothetical Sacred Stones Remake? For me personally: 1. The ability to go down both Eirika's and Ephraim's path on the same playthrough. They could do something like in RD where you split up your army between the twins and like in Gaiden, you can go through their stories at any speed you want (Like: Ephraim 1-->Eirika 1-->Ephraim 2 or Ephraim 1-->Ephraim 2-->Eirika 1). 2. More history. While this is a given, sadly Magvel's history is not as developed as say Elibe's (I mean we only know the names of 2 of the 5 heroes). 3. Expanded skill system. SS was the first game after Thracia that used a skill system. This could really be expanded to just simply put, be better and more up to date. 4. Reclassing. While I don't want reclassing on the same level as Awakening or Fates, I think being able to reclass between a units two promotion options i.e. Joshua can reclass between Swordmaster and Assassin, would be pretty cool. 5. Non-limited supports. Basically, don't limit the supports to 5 for each character. Allow us to get all B supports but only one A support, or something along those lines. or they could introduce an S rank where S rank equates to a paired ending i.e. Eirika and Forde get an S rank so they get their PE, but Eirkia can still get an A with Seth and Forde can get an A with Kyle, they just don't get their paired endings. Obviously this is all hypothetical. I mean, I'm pretty sure we will get Binding Blade remakes before anything else if Heroes is any indication, but yeah. What are you thoughts?
