Running Screenplays [spoiler=The Zombie Outbreak] FADE IN: INT. UBER CAR - DAY VICTOR, a middle-aged man with a beard, is driving an ubercar. The car has eight seats, and bag room in the back.JESSICA, an attractive 25-30 year old girl with long blondhair, sits in the back. VICTOR So where are ya headed? JESSICA Uh... John’s Pizzeria? Didn’t I already tell you all of this? VICTOR Sorry. Just trying to make conversation. Jessica shakes her head as they drive through a run-downcity. There are lot’s of people fighting in the streets.There is little to no electricity, and they’re the only caron the road. VICTOR This is worse than normal. Are you sure you’ll be okay out there? JESSICA I’ll be fine. They keep driving and make it to the pizzeria. The OPEN signis not lit. Jessica gets out of the car. JESSICA Maybe the power’s just out or something. Jessica hands Victor some money and starts walking towardsthe building. She tries to open the door, but it doesn’tbudge. She looks through the window, but it’s empty. JESSICA Dammit! They’re closed. VICTOR Do you want a ride back to your apartment? I won’t charge you.Jessica sighs. (CONTINUED) CONTINUED: 2. JESSICA That’d be great, actually. Thank you. Jessica gets back into the car and sits down. As they driveback to Jessica’s apartment, they see the same peoplefighting again. This time however, they’re eating eachother. A group of what seems to be rioters throw a fire bombat the "cannibals". JESSICA Oh my god! The car speeds through the streets and they arrive atJessica’s apartment. Jessica gets out of the car and wavesat Victor. She then grabs a key from her purse and attemptsto open the door. However, it doesn’t work. VICTOR Do you need help? JESSICA No. I’m fine. Jessica tries again, this time dropping her key. A group ofzombies turn the corner onto their street, about 30 of them. Jessica turns her head and sees them. JESSICA I think they’re rioters! Please, help me get this open!The zombies get closer, yet the door still wont open. VICTOR Listen, we just need to get in the car and get going. Victor opens his car and reaches for his keys, but theyaren’t there. He panics and attempts to break the apartmentdoor down. As the zombies get closer, the door doesn’t budge. They area few seconds from arm’s length. As one zombie reaches outat Jessica, AMELIA, an old woman opens the apartment door.She then walks out with STACY, her poodle on a leash. JESSICA Ma’am! Don’t go out there! (CONTINUED) CONTINUED: 3. Huh? AMELIA Stacy shakes as she hides inside. Amelia tries to push herout, but then notices the zombies. Jessica slams the door ona zombie’s arm, which tries to pry it back open. A few stopat the door, banging on the glass. Jessica holds the door back with all of her strength. Insidethe hallway they are in is a grandfather clock and a deskwith a lamp on it. JESSICA Sir! Help me get this door closed! Victor runs and pushes both the clock and the desk over andblocks the door with them. They all sigh, relieved, but thezombies keep pounding. INT. HALLWAY - DAY AMELIA What were those things? VICTOR I’m not sure. Their faces were torn off, just flesh. One of them didn’t even have an arm! JESSICA We need to go. Let’s look for a working T.V., radio... something to contact the police with. AMELIA My electricity works in my apartment. However, I believe I accidentally misplaced my key outside while I was taking little old Stacy for a walk. VICTOR That’s okay. I can pry the door open. Because that worked wonderfully last time. JESSICA(under her breath) (CONTINUED) CONTINUED: 4. VICTOR Is there anyone else in the apartment complex? AMELIA No! They all left suddenly last night for some odd reason. I kept telling them to quiet down, that I was trying to sleep. JESSICA I was studying. I guess I didn’t see the reason why until now. I’m Jessica, by the way. VICTOR I’m Victor. Nice to meet you. They both look at Amelia, expecting a response. AMELIA Huh? Oh... my bad. I’m Amelia. Hello all, it's Willie! So I had an idea to write scripts for movies and T.V. shows, and post them here! I love writing screenplays in my free time, and I felt like sharing them here! I would write a preview (maybe 1 or 2 pages long), post in on here, and then include a download link. People could tell me what they think of a certain story, give me feedback or ideas, and I could go from there. I would update each one as often as possible. Tell me what you think of it, and maybe I will make it a thing! I will write a little preview right now and post it, so you could get an idea. Thanks! -Willie
