  1. I want to check but I want to know what class can use Sword, Lance and Axe.
  2. I tried a run where i reclassed instantly robin as myrmidon, and if you want my opinion, it wasnt that bad! He is still a myrmidon, im planning on making him a sword master. Tell me what you think! (and maybe let him marry WHO and WHY) DONT SAY TO ME TO CHANGE CLASS XD
  3. So, I plan to get Pokémon Sword at some point. For context, I've been playing Pokémon since Diamond/Pearl, and, so far, I've played every generation since then except gen 5 and gen 8. When I get a new Pokémon game, I have it that my story team consists entirely of new Pokémon (including regional variants as of gen 7). I've seen all the new Pokémon and regional variants for this game, I've made a list of the Pokémon I'm interested in using, and I need help narrowing it down to a team of six: Starter Pokémon: Scorbunny Sobble Other Pokémon: Rookidee Wooloo Chewtle Sinistea Galarian Koffing Galarian Farfetch'd Milcery Falinks Stonjourner Any suggestions?
  4. So, Pokemon Home has dropped suddenly, with both mobile and Switch flavors. Surprisingly, there are differences. Such as GTS being locked to the mobile version, of all things. It also seems that the mobile version is just plain better for that reason. Fortunately, it seems that the plan is shared between both, so once you sync up your Nintendo account, you should be good to go. Thus far, I haven't exactly been able to do much, as it has crashed on me a few times thus far. Curiously, the mobile version does not force you to read the terms of service, as the switch version does. You have to at least scroll through the entire thing, which includes more languages than English. From the mobile version, I did receive a free Pikachu and, from my choice of three, Bulbasaur out of the original starter trio. The latter came with its hidden ability. With the basic (free) plan, you are unable to: A) Move Pokemon over from Pokemon Bank B) Deposit and store up to 6,000 Pokemon (limit for basic is 30, I believe. One. Single. Box) C) Have up to 10 Pokemon up for trade in your Wonder Box at a time D) Have up to three Pokemon on the GTS at a time E) Create Room Trades F) Gain access to the Judge function (IV Checker) So, already, your incentive would be to buy the premium plan, which you can buy: One month ($2.99), three month ($4.99), and 12 month ($15.99) Honestly, over three times the price of bank for only double the Pokemon storage and a few features that were previously free WITHIN THE GAME ITSELF honestly isn't worth it, in my opinion. Oh, and get this. If you transfer from generation 7, all of your bottle capped stats are reset. You also only get the dex entries for the games that those Pokemon have been physically in themselves, as far back as X and Y, as I can tell. So, your Pokemon has to have physically been in X/Y, traded to ORAS, traded to U/S/M, etc. to get those Pokedex entries.
  5. So, what would you think the anime, manga, and the like will give our new heroes? Personally, I have this (From 20000 names): Male: Lyall (Scottish name for “Shield wolf”, after Norse name Liulfr) Female: Brenda (Scottish name of Scandinavian origin, based on Old Norse brandr, or “Sword”) Male one may just have a British origin, though, to run parallel to the female’s Scottish origin (sorry Wales).
  6. I think Byleth’s sword may have divine ability of a goddess and it may be a whip too? Unit can counterattack regardless of space? Whip Sword? Sorry for keeping the annoying bars there I felt people may want to see timestamps!
  7. (First of all, sorry if this is not the right Forum to ask.) I was creating a little custom class of mine but I required a ''Infantry Sword user with Shield'' animations, I didn't think any of the already present sprites in FE meet all requirements so I started looking out for custom animations. I found one that was pretty much what I was looking for (''Squire'', from RusselClark, A Random Player, and Kobazco), but I ended up with some erros with it (and isn't really that good...sorry creators.) Then I noticed that the Soldier class has pretty much everything I want, but he uses a lance. I was hopping for a custom animation of the Soldier but with Swords, but even tough it looks like something easy to find (since all you actually need to change it's his weapon), I couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't want to be ''this guy'' but...I'm going to ask for help to find it. Please, if you found it anywhere or just happens to have one, point it to me. I'm happy to give any credit, as long as I know who's the creator. (Also, I guess I should say that English is not my Main language.)
  8. Hi, I was wondering why everyone seems to think Hinata is trash. He comes usable with good base spd and def, has many pair ups to boost either one or the other and even his mediocre strength with Rinkah pair up (or maybe MoA Hana pair up I don't know her personal pair p bonuses nor MoA's since I used it only once on Mozu who was obviously pair leader). Hell guys, instead of trash talking about him, look at yourselves kneeling before Dieck/Deke's base stats and shit growths and at Gerik who was Hinata before Hinata was born and whose promotion gains were shit because FE 8 had rather trash promotion gains to compensate for better unit growths. So Gerik comes later in the game than Hinata (45% in the game unlike Hinata's 30-33% in game progression chapter-wise). Gerik couldn't get out of his classline like Hinata can, couldn't get wings like Hinata can even in his buddy seals, needed instant dragonshield if you were to not feed him much exp or early promote him (I tried to use him early promoted as both promotions in chapter 13 Ephraim's route and he was dying to 3 or 4 little soldier attacks in hard mode LOL), Gerik didn't have access to such insane things as tonics and pair up bonuses and guard stance, he was overshadowed in no grind by Seth (like most of the cast), Duessel (maybe even better than Seth without any stat bonuses invested in them cuz diz beiz stats are ameizing and 1 pure water allows him to take the whole ennemy army by himself from his join chapter until he has to face stupid dragonzombies' absurd 30 true damage), Innes in his Eirika join chapter (silver bow and 14-15 speed makes him OHKO/ORKO his whole joining chapter by himself, give him an iron/steel bow for weakling and that's it whilehe can still ORKO dragonzombies at base with a hero bow, which no other unit can pretend to be able to). Meanwhile Hinata comes at the same level with a weapon that allows him to hit even with his low skill (steel blade in FE TSS is true shit unless you gave 4 body rings to Joshua/6 to Marisa and gave it to them but you might as well go for magic swords or killing edge/shamshir at this point), he can get those insane bonuses from gameplay "improvements" (they aren't in my opinion but 0% growth players who can emulate Fates would say otherwise), he can get boosts to his res, he even has access to a whole class that gives him res base, growth and anti-magic skills on top of the possibility of getting falcon knight's lv 15 skill by endgame if he was given enough exp (meaning you forbid Ryoma use or made it minimal) so he can do what is supposed to be the opposite of his physical tank job if given the chance. Meanwhile Gerik can only kill magic units by himself if given a pure water and if he can double the sages (thanks to tomes insane weight and agic classes having the worst base stats of the whole game though he should be able to double the chapter 17 Fimbulvetr sage before getting 2-3 shot, but don't let him against the trios of druids on open field or against any group with 1 or 2 magic units and 2+ physical units like this should happen by lategame and in the endgame chapter or say goodbye to the best mercenary of GBA FEs since you just killed him). Ike in RD comes with the same speed growth as Hinata and I think Haar (sorry, GOD) shares the same speed growth too. They have better base stats but in RD they make high level oifeys and leaders close to their base class's max stats to cap them easily but struggle more to max in t3 classes and usually ests or other growing units have very little more stat points than these OP starters except for Edward who is simply the best in his classline if you invest in him, Nolan who's better for endgame than Boyd because of a higher speed average, only tanky unit before long in his team, and the other axe user in DB coming with trash bases and overlevelled for her growths to catch up before the end of part 1, and even then she stays way weakier than Haar for the whole game, not any point on using her outside from dawn brigade exclusive chapters and their objectives don't even give decent BEXP so it's useless to even try and end the levels with every optionnal objective completed, meaning those stat boosters you use on her could be given to Volug instead for x1.5 effectiveness in half beast and x2 in beast (1 dragonshield is 2 to 4 def for him, meanwhile it doesn't allow Jill to go anywhere near an archer or a group o physical ennemies without a few potions/30hp recovery potion, and Volug has twice her base HP or not far from it and still 26+ levels to grow, with lower max stats to use BEXP even better than her, his weakness to fire is irrelevant for most of the game past the 1st chapter he's playable and act 1 endgame maybe but he could as well kill them in 1 hit at that point, + base 9 movement if I'm correct and he can shove unlike Jill, only thing she beats him on is canto). Speaking of which, Hinata is a little like Volug, muscular, fluffy, middling strength and def, high luck and hp, bad res, the only things Volug beats him on for the whole game is spd and skl but Fates likes to give you stat screwed units so Hinata's speed is good for the main campaign in hard (like Nyx's unsalavgeable base stats, even in her specialties she has shit bases and her skill to patch up accuracy needs her to fight at 1 range XD so she get OHKO easier by 20-26 MT physical ennemies a few chapters after she's recruited at most on hard difficulty, hell even Micayah is more usable than her and at least she has utility in her base class and can level up through it even to the point you can get her to 20 in act 1 by spamming her suicide heal and using Laura/potion/herb to heal Micayah, and she can kill most act 1 bosses in 1 hit with her 2 personnal tomes for free exp). After this whole novel of comparisons between ~comparable~ units between older games and Fates, I hope you understand my point and that you will remember it before thinking ill of him. He isn't stellar by himself, but he comes usable (13 def in chapter 10 is about as much as lv 13-15 MU with HP boon, or def screwed def boon holding the DRAGONSTONE), his issues can be patched or fixed for cheap and his bases carry him for a while. Meanwhile Hana starts with glass cannon issues that will never be fixed by any means (unless you play a solorun Hana and give her all stat boosters including bonus path dragon herbs for her to mimic Gandalf in the prologue of The Lord of The Rings when he talks peacefully with Frodo while playing with smoke). And after having seen Ryoma again for the first time after like 1.5 year because this game bores me before reaching his recruitment most of the time, I think he has good strength but nothing Hana can't reach (with much higher skill, res and maybe equal to better luck) so if his OP sword didn't carry him he woudn't be so stellar (15 def with a katana for a level 4 male swordmaster is simply unforgivable, it's 2 points higher than Hinata's 13 levels+promotion lower level def with only 11 more speed for a unit supposed to be fast LMFAO any est-type speedy unit should've reached 28-30 by this point, my lv 8 general Setsuna who spent 12 levels as a knight and 7 as a general has 30 as a dark flyer with only 2 points from stat boosters gotten from the herbs I gave her, and everything else isn't high for his level, I bet Hinoka at his level with an equivalent personal weapon would do everything better than him even as a falcon knight with flying and maybe beast weaknesses).
  9. I was watching some FE6 videos a few days ago and I started thinking: Should Legendary Weapons even have uses? They're the arms of ancient heroes, forged to kill dragons, demons, and gods! If they break and disappear forever after 40 or so attacks, doesn't that undermine their significance in the game's lore?
  10. Which Fighter promotions do you prefer? Not much else to say.
  11. I forgot why I hated this game so I started playing it again, on chapter 14x Im tired of this game's shit again Why does every fucking enemy consistently hit me at extremely low hit percents? I dont mean like getting hit once or twice from 40%, because that's reasonable, Im talking about getting hit at 12% multiple times from different enemies... then I cant hit at 80%, ok game. 4 characters I was building died bc apparently every enemy has the accuracy of a god and the game displays it as "Lmao, 20%, that aint gonna hit you" I hope Im not just extremely, EXTREMELY unlucky, I hope this aint just me
  12. Hi, I've read many topics on who's the best between Colm and Joshua, which class is the best between assassin and swordmaster, much bullshit about the classes because of BIAS, and most of it has been written long ago so I didn't want to necropost. So, let's compare the real thing. 1st: swordmaster class vs assassin class: - SM, aside from being the first letters for sadomasochist, have taken a major nerf from their previous iterations (+30 crit has become +15 LOL). So the big lead is on the crit department. SM has better stats caps than assassin for sure (+4 str, +2 def and +3 res, it that it?) with -1 skl to compensate (-1 crit because max skl is not a pair number). So if they reach max stats, assassin has -4 str, - 14 crit, +1 skl, -2 def and -3 res. But let's be serious, swordmasters never reach their caps outside from maybe skl and probably spd. Swordmasters also get more promotion bonuses to compensate for later promotion than thief to assassin. - Assassin has a stylish name, a nice crit animation too (very different from SM's), lower promotion gains, 1 point less in Con, and lower caps. On paper, it seems worse. But they have:1. Silencer, 1/2 crit chance to OS the ennemy, halved against bosses and denied against the final boss. 2. Better exp gain, meaning promotion bonuses get fixed by more level ups, +0 skl and spd make assassin's skl and spd better with equal number of fights (so more hit and crit rate to compensate for not having +15 crit), more potential hp/def/res if it means anything (good if you let him/her face lancers), more LUCK to dodge more and lower ennemy crit chance (for the occasional high crit ennemy like chap 14 and 17 berserkers, and some swordmaster put through the 2nd part of the game after the end of the routes plit, and against a few lethal weapon-wielding ennemies). 3. Thief utility: FoW is annoying, having 2 thieves is nice to avoid fiedling 3+ staff users to have enough torch users and wasting turns on it; lockpick is nice, costs less than keys (and you can have 2 lockpicks by chapter 8, Colm's and this chapter's thief's, plus chapter 16 and 19 thieves' lockpicks so you don't have to buy them ^^). Now for the characters getting these classes: 1.Colm: low base strength, high growth (40%, 5% more than Joshua, 10% more than Marisa if I remember well), low base skl, high enough growth (45% according to NMM, 40% according to Serenes Forest, so 10-15% less than Joshua, sure it's a lot), good base luck and good growth (45%, 15 more than Joshua LOL with 1 more base luck), very low base def (3) with the same growth rates as Franz, Cormag and a few others of this kind (25%, so 5% more than Joshua with 2 less base def), and ridiculous base res (1) with low growth (20%, 5 less than Joshua with 1 less base). Colm is a thief joining in chapter 3 (so 2 and a half chapters earlier than Joshua), he can steal 4 ennemies in his joining chapter at base, so getting 40% exp isn't hard, and he can reck the hell out of 85% of his joining chapter ennemies while they are displaying low hit rates. He can safely get to level 10-11 by boss abusing in his joining chapter, not optimal for LTC but great for efficiency since he can easily reach the 15-16 spd needed to steal HM chap 8 theif's lockpick after he finishes chapter 3 LOL, also being by far your fastest and best dodgetank unit for a while, and becoming able to take down the nasty halberd wielder in chap 6 without getting hit and without even having to rely on terrain bonuses to do it fingers in the nose. He steals chapter 7 mage str/mag booster, giving him 10 more free exp no one else can get this way (not needing to fight), and finally chap 8 thief's lockpick for 10% more free exp. He has a total of 40% free exp in chap 3, 10% in chap 6 (troubadour's elixir), 10% in chap 7, 10% in chap 8 so 70% free exp, which means he's virtually level 2.70 when you get him (even more since chap 6, 7 and 8 he's higher level to steal so the exp he get from stealing is higher than the exp he gains as a level 2 because of the exp curve). He has 3 more levels to be blessed/RNG screwed than Joshua, but a blessed Colm may be much better than a blessed Joshua (more luck, strength maybe, def maybe, res also, and less gap in skill). He gains far more exp per fight than Joshua will ever, gaining around 55 exp per kill in his first levels, against 30-ish for Joshua, and fedding him bosskills, if not optimal, are a way to make levelling him a joke (80-ish exp per boss kill until level 15+, maybe even more exp/higher soft cap). Being an assassin from chapter 9 onwards allows him to gain more levels, have more opportunities to use silencer for OHKOs and more exp, so more level ups...meaning he can reach chests easier, and fight better, and be self-sufficient far earlier than Joshua or slightly faster than Rogue!Colm (only silencer kills apply here). He can easily take on ennemies near the chests by himself, allowing your real fighting units to go straight to the boss or split for routs (also routing or being as close as possibe to rout in kill boss or defend/survive X turns chapters obviously allows your units to get more exp, and having a thief take a few ennemies isn't a bad thing if he can then make use of it to allow faster pace in later chapters, and less splitting in chap 19 is really nice because if Colm can solo the bottom-right side of the map until you end the chapter with all chests open, you get everything in one). With this play style, you can make Colm reach level 8 before Joshua can even promote if you give the 1st hero crest to Gerik, who's much more useful than Joshua in every kind of map design, and also less prone to RNG-screwage than his fellow crest user due to better base stats, and also higher level when recruited so he needs less level ups to promote (can even be instantly promoted if you want). Levelling a thief is never a waste. 2. Joshua: on the other hand this guy joins 2.5 chapters later, is an ass to recruit since he makes you slow down to avoid killing him or getting killed by him, has shit supports compared to Colm (his whole swordmaster's +15 crit advantage is getting reckt by A support Colm/Neimi which can be achieved in the same chapter you recruit Joshua in a non LTC run, also screwing Joshua's base damage with +3 damage from support, a +1 or 2 def/res bonus and a dodge bonus to his already better dodge rate than Joshua in the same chapter if Colm is trained, Neimi already makes Colm all that Joshua wants to be before any of them promotes). Joshua has higher base stats but lower growths in anything but Hp (+5%), skl (+10/15%) and res (+5%), meaning Colm's bonus exp is putting him potentially far ahead Joshua in terms of stats reached in the same chapter (also stealing less exp from your team even with 3 more levels to gain to reach 20). If you want something close to a swordmaster, Eirika in her route is forced so use her and she'll surpass Joshua in mobility, stats, combat utility (free sacred weapon that no one else is fighting for with 21 real damage, 53 on monsters LOL at Joshua's crits when she can OHKO most monsters at base unpromoted), overall utility (since she's forced and has the convoy, and is the only one who can seize in her route, she's better off trained than untrained so she isn't a dead weight), while Joshua also stays swordlocked but steals exp, weapons, a promotion item and a fielding space from more useful units who can 1-2 range with cheap weapons and don't have to be levelled up to do what they are used for, even benchable if they turn bad or get replaced by better units at their role like Garcia replaced with Gerik. So Joshua is more of a bad unit than Colm (or Eirika) to use, sure he has better bases, weapon rank, and level but he costs you to train unlike Eirika and Colm who give back everything you put into them by making the game easier (no game over, easier chest access, early game thief utility without getting killed, better promotion time and/or not fighting for promotion item). Joshua is going to be promoted later than Colm in most cases, so his only way to catch up is to go assassin for faster exp gain (and less exp stealing from the party) so he can beat Colm as an assassin with better skill. Still he will never reach Colm's free pass as a utility unit from join time, 2 chapters of easy exp with few really good units to compete with for exp (stop talking of Franz please, Seth can make good use of the exp you'd waste in Franz while Kyle or Forde have no other competition for the cavalier role in Ephraim's party in their joining chapter and can be better than Franz, Kyle being Duessel with lower def/res but higher hp/str/skl/spd, Forde being a "jack of all trades but master of none" like someone said in another topic or maybe another forum I can't recall where I found this quote. If Forde is blessed he ends up better than Franz and Kyle together because Kyle still lacks speed and skill and res while Franz has so awful def and res he's like a swordsmaster on a horse, with better weaponry an movement but no crit +15, less skill and lower hp than Kyle and maybe Forde. Franz is a glass cannon with higher terrain penalties than foot glass canons (not able to hide in low mountains for example or to attack an ennemy on a mountain while a foot unit could, and he's no flyer either). Franz should be a pegasus, it's be better for him (also he'd be able to ferry units easier before AND after promo with 7-8 con, namely Duessel, General Gilliam, warrior Garcia, and falcon promotion bonuses would patch his def/res a bit, stille Tana is Franz on wings with more strength and less HP). All this to say that Colm has little competition before chapter 9 on the exp Seth let go to rush the boss or do whatever you want him to do. Most good units come after chapter 9 anyway (Tana during/at the beginning of ch9, Cormag in 10 or 13, Duessel in 10 or 15, Saleh in 11 or 15, Innes who can probablyORKO dragonzombies at base if not OHKO them with killing bow crit, or killing them before they attack with hero bow, at 10 or 15, Gerik in 10 or 13, and that's it). The only real competition Colm has comes from Artur/Lute (Artur for bishop slayer-staffbot, Lute for OHKO potential with fire in mid game). And you only want one on these 2 anyway. Beating chapter 5 with Artur or Lute and Colm on the left and Seth on the right is a walk in the park. Meanwhile Vanessa visits bottom-right, middle-left and top-left houses easily and get you the mage ring and why not the torch (I usually sell it though). If you want a nice unit that works not far from a swordsmaster but with better weaponry and stat spread, make Amelia a super trainee (I know she lacks Con, but she is fast enough to be relevant). But she's not good for efficient play though since she needs 18 level ups be be ABLE to promote to tier 3 classes. Still +15 crit lance user with actual speed is nice, even if she looses some by equipping javelins. Still more durable than Joshua with better luck/def/res if she reached 10/20 before promotion (and nearly uncrittable without any support needed). So: Assassin is a little better than swordmaster, because it doesn't steal a deployment slot from better fighting units since it brings utility alongside combat, and has around the same ORKO potential with higher OHKO potential, more post-game viability, can actually kill heroes/warriors in one lucky hit with iron or even slim weapons, while SM need at least steel if not silver to do the same, so costs more gold, and it eases FoW chapters by much. And Colm if played alongside Neimi (who can just get a few lv ups to get an early promotion just not to die from one hit and even bring some bow utility like Innes with little investment and get high crit rate for this same bow utility) can be far better than Joshua, on top of being a more worthy unit for the exp he takes from the other members of the party (even some MEMEbers) just because he brings useful things to the party from his join time to the end of the game (or of the world if you manage to kill your whole trained party including Seth and Duessel so the Demon King wins). Also Colm doesn't risk to be critted to death by a berserker or lethal weapon hero if there is one, (0% hit berserkers and low hit + low crit lethal weapons users) while Joshua's luck is a bit shaky against promoted/lethal weapon ennemies, and so is his dodge because of -10 to -15 luk compared with Colm, depending on the level gap and how blessed each of them has been. Marisa would be Colm assassin but better (without Colm/Neimi support) but she joins later in the game, also fights for a hero crest and has even less strength than LOL Joshua. What do you guys think of it? Outside of this being a big wall of text obviously.
  13. Fire Emblem has tried many methods of giving 1-2 ranged swords, from the Levin Sword and other magic swords, to swords that emit sword beams and swords that are thrown overhead and straight forward like a spear. Which method is your favourite, do you want a new method, or do you think they should give up trying to include 1-2 ranged swords?
  14. So I decided to spice things up a bit and do a sword only run of conquest on lunatic, hard is significantly easier for this run which is why opted for this. I will make somewhat of a mini guide as I go through the run, as of writing this I am on chapter 18. Please feel free to give feedback and share your experience as I am by no means an expert at the game. Rules: No DLC (Path bonuses are okay) All attacking units must use swords (guard stance w/ a non sword wielding class is okay, as well as the use of healers and Azura with no weapons) No use of online features (castles battles, bonuses, etc...) Run begins on chapter 6 Throughout my trial runs there are a few things that I found make the run easier. First is that Male Corrin is the way to go as Felicia's personal skill and demoiselle makes chapter 7 much easier Having speed as Corrin's boon and the talent of samurai are very useful (personally I would not reclass Corrin until he gets Draconic Hex) USE FELICIA!!! She is probably the best unit for most of the run, so reclass her to a Hero in Chapter 8 ASAP Use your dread scrolls! It is very difficult to do this run without them on lunatic, I have yet to come up with a way to beat chapter 10 without using them So onto the chapters Chapter 6: Embrace The Dark This chapter is fairly straight forward. Have Camilla activate the dragon vein then move Xander to her right. Then pair Felicia with Elise and move her above Xander then separate them , now he gets the bonus of Lily's poise, Rose's Thorns and Demoiselle Kill Ryoma with Xander, do not worry about the other as Ryoma will only attack Xander Use Corrin and Xander to take care of Takumi and Hinoka Use Xander to kill Yukimura and you are done Chapter 7: A Dragon's Decree Things to do before starting: make a staff/weapon store; get path bonuses; use boots (optional); sell iron dagger, buy at least one vulnerary if you used the one form the tutorial chapters This chapter is pretty much a race to kill as many faceless per turn as possible. Having a speed oriented Corrin is very useful here as it allows him to reliably double the faceless, making this chapter way easier. Also resist the urge to make Felicia a dreadfighter, you will regret it later on. Pair up Felicia and Corrin and move them to the left. Separate them so that Corrin is able to be hit by both Faceless Pair them back up and move Corrin towards the forrest so that he can be hit by all the Faceless except for the guard stance ones and use a vulnerary Elise and Silas should arrive on turn 3. Pair them up and then separate them below the northern most woods tile. Move Corrin in place to be hit by the guard stance Faceless, the others should have be one rounded. Move Corrin as far back as possible while still being able to be hit by the last faceless and separate him from Felicia. Have Silas finish of the faceless that attacked him. Pair up Arthur and Effie and move them as close to Silas as possible. Move Arthur towards the bridge and them move Corrin next to him to block the path. Have Felicia heal Corrin and then move Silas behind the blockade. Have Elise heal Silas. Have Silas transfer Effie to him and move Arthur as far back as possible. Heal Corrin with Felicia. At this point Corrin and Silas should be blocking the bridge in a staggered pattern with Felicia behind Corrin and Elise behind Silas. Kill the seal speed faceless with Corrin and the other with Silas, do not break position though. Heal as needed Kill the last faceless with Silas and move Felicia and Corrin back so that he is next to Silas. Enjoy your one turn of no fighting and top off Corrin's and Silas' health From this point just defend and heal top of their health, do not initiate battle with the boss faceless until he can be reliably one shot More to come later~

  16. NOTE: I will post the builds at a later time. for now, I have stats and a long description. Siegbert: Future King Siegbert has managed to extract himself from his Father's shadow and stand on his own 4 legs, trading away the defensive, Distant Counter Siegfriedfor an offensive, Swift Sparrow 2 Dark Greatsword. Compared to his father Xander has slightly lower defense and Resistance, and significantly reduced health, but slightly increases his Attack and shoots his speed through the roof, being the fastest cavalier to date. His massive power lets him break through and kill nearly every Red unit lacking Wary Fighter, whereas a special proc from Draconic Aura or Dragon Fang let him bust through a significant portion of blue units. With Swift Sparrow 2 in his A slot, he reaches 58/43 Atk/Spd offenses at neutral, allowing him to double any unit with less than 38 base speed. Most importantly however, he is mounted, capable of initating with the range of an infantry mage/archer to improve his offensive niche, and grabbing Hone Cavalry for a mind-blowing 64/49 initiation offense, allowing him to kill just about anyone who isn't wielding Swordbreaker/Wary Fighter, or an incredibly bulky blue. He pays for it however with painfully mediocre HP for a melee unit, and an utterly destructive resistance stat, with only Fredrick's 14 losing to his 15. His mediocre health may let him easily activate Desperation, but his awful Res results in a magic user needing a mere 34 magic to 2HKO him, or 43 for Green mages, a stat every single optimized magic tome reaches. This makes it dangerous for him to rest in the range of any Blade-Tome user when in Desperation range, and the range of Blue Mages, Blue and even Red Dragons are simply off limits to him at all times as he can never reliably take hits from any of them except an unbuffed Blarblade Odin, and he cannot kill either Adult nor Young Tiki on initiation without dying to Quick Riposte. Siegbert is only summonable at 5-stars. However, he has a boosted BST that brings his stats to the level of a lower-BST Infantry unit. Similarly to Sigurd, this gives him a boost in Arena, as he has both that and an exclusive weapon to boost his weighting to that of any usual legendary infantry such as Lucina or Seliph. Overall Pros/Cons Base Kit Builds (Heavily WIP) Legend Bold = Reccomended for build Italics = Distinctly Suboptimal yet possible for build Underlined Bold = Necessary for build Desperate Move (General Offense) Usage: General-Use, Deadly Initiator (Aim to initiate combat, risking life for more likely kills), Endurance(Becomes significantly more capable of killing as time goes on) Our Other Boy (Galeforce Offense) Usage: Arena Offense(Excelling either at point score or at killing meta units) , Safe Initiator (Aim to initiate combat, surviving the fallout almost assuredly alive), Penny Pincher (Budget Offense) Usage: Extremely Cheap (3-4* inherits only, <= 3 inherited units) Deadly Initiator (Aim to initiate combat, risking life for more likely kills)
  17. I want to give my Sol Manual to someone that cannot use swords in FE5. Will it ever proc that way? Also, I don't think the sword skills can work with non-swords in FE4, but I'm not sure about FE5. Help please?
  18. Since we do have Alm, Faye, Lukas, and Clair were added when they added at the same day as Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia was released in Japan and China. I do think the developers of Fire Emblem Heroes will might possibly they'll might add Celica and some of her comrades at the same day as Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will be released outside of Japan on May 19th. But, let's talk about what characters from Celica's team do you think they'll might be with Celica in the Banner and the new Paralogue chapter or the next 11th Main Story Chapter like Ike and Celica's weapon choice if they will either use Sword or Magic do you think we'll might see in the future batch? I possibly think she will might possibly get that Masked Knight similar to like how they added Faye and he's an additional character gotten added in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and I am not entirely too sure if what the other two characters from Celica's team going to be in Fire Emblem Heroes, I do like to see if they'll might add either Atlas, Mae, Boey, Deen, or Nomah. And for weapon choice for Celica, I possibly think Celica might use Magic (possibly Fire Magic since that was her default spell) since some of the main characters except Robin (both genders), Hector, Azura, Spring Chrom, Spring Lucina, and Female Corrin used Swords. And if they do added the Masked Knight that was with Celica since he is a Brand New character like Faye, I'm pretty sure he will most likely keep the mask on and keep his Backstory hidden from Kiran, Alfonse, Sharena, Anna, and the other Heroes. Incase if you do not know who is the Masked Knight that was with Celica this is how he looks like in one of the Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Japanese trailers and we didn't see him have his mask off nor have a backstory shown in any of the trailers and the official website for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia:
  19. So far it looks like Brigands are the only axe using class, while all classes seem to use one weapon like the original ruling out axe using Generals/Barons as such axes are seeming unlikely right now. Do you think will a Brigand will be recruitable or will another axe using class appear unlike the original. There's also the amiibos apparently summoning normally unplayable classes for player use. I thought this is an interesting topic of discussion that would be worth discussing here.
  20. Hi, my first time on this forum. I decided to give Genology of the Holy war another chance after Sigurd being anounced for Fire Emblem Heroes. Looking at Sigurd's weapons, he has a Iron sword stronger than a steel sword. I checked the weapons in this site, and noticed they have diferent stats. Are his starting swords forged or something? Or maybe just a translate error? Steel sword Acc 80 Mgt 10 Rng 1~1 Wgt 3 Iron sword Acc 80 Mgt 12 Rng 1~1 Wgt 12
  21. I'm new to making posts on this website s please bear with me. I have spent hours trying to din out where the swords "Lucina's Replica-Sword", "Marth Replica-Sword", and "Ike Replica-Sword". I've seen them on wikis with no location included, and the only thing i could find is another person asking the same question on gamefaqs without an answer. With all this, I'm led to believe that maybe its not out yet, or that its very common and easy to find and im just overlooking a crucial detail. But, on multiple accounts, when visiting castles and initiating castle battles, their units have had all three of these swords (cant find them again, but if i do, ill post pics if needed) i know this is a long thing, sorry, just kinda in desparation. tl;dr : i dont know where the lucina, marth, and ike replica-sword in game items are, need to know where or if theyre out yet. Thanks in advance!!~
  22. Hello everyone! Today I started a Let's Play of DLuna's ReDuX of FE6 on hard mode. There are no special conditions this time just a straight up LP. Also, I just started uploading episode 5 of my LP of FE7 Leila Edition HHM Hector and Females only, Chapter 14. I managed to complete the chapter using only Hector, Leila, Rebecca and Serra, and towards the end, Priscilla. Granted the characters are slightly modified, but it's nothing game breaking or even remotely trivializing. I'm quite proud of it, and I welcome you all to take a look. Both videos should be done uploading shortly. The link to my channel is in my signature. Have a great day, Gryphon
  23. Hello everyone! I welcome you all to take a look. The link to my Let's Play channel is in my signature. Have a radical day. :) Gryphon
  24. Fire Emblem - Origins v1.0 A Blazing Sword ROM hack by Strict_Gryphon90 Foreword: Exactly 3 months ago (July 19th 2015) I started working on this hack knowing absolutely nothing about ROM hacking. And now, with great joy, I present to you the fruit of those 3 months of work. I hope you enjoy playing this hack as much as I enjoyed making it. As of this release the prologue through chapter 3 has been fully completed. The maps for chapters 4 and 5 are complete and in the game but do not contain any dialogue. I wanted to have chapters 4 and 5 finished for this release but I wasn't able to do so before my deadline. This upcoming school week (week of Monday 10/19/2015) is midterm week, and I also have a long paper due shortly after, so after today I won't be working on this hack for about 2 weeks. I decided to release whatever I had done before then. After my busy time is over, I will resume work on this hack with all the same dedication as the past 3 months. Quick Note About the Mugs and Animations: As of yet I do not have any custom mugs or animations, and so I am using default resources as placeholders. I do have someone working on the mugs, but they've been feeling ill the past couple of weeks and haven't had the chance to get them done. Rest assured I will insert the custom mugs as I receive them, and also the custom animations as soon as I find someone who can do them. Story: Main Characters: Screenshots (Thanks to Pixelman): Chapter Maps: Changes: Plans for v1.1: Plans for v2.0: Things You Should Know About Chapters 4 and 5 (because of lack of dialogue): Credits: If I forgot anything I'll add it as soon as I remember. If I forgot something or gave the wrong credit, let me know and I will fix it. Also, I use Apache OpenOffice instead of Excel, so you'll need that program to open it. Don't worry it's free. https://www.dropbox.com/s/frjr0s32vcde5ui/Character%20Stats.ods?dl=0 Original Post: Gryphon
