  1. The "Avatar" in this game has some interesting implications. The pre-rendered cutscenes that actually show Byleth's face really points toward signs that they will not be customizable. However, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude also appear in this cutscene. Later in the trailer we see Edelgard reclass into a Brigand. Her outfit is very different from her student attire in that class. That would make any future cutscene that she is in very jarring. I think we can all agree that the cutscenes we've seen are all very early in the game. Maybe after a certain point we are able to customize Byleth. There was so much emphasis on "you" in the trailer, it seems odd that Byleth wouldn't be customizable except for the form when they are pushing that aspect so hard. How do you think the three house leaders will be affected by their classes and cutscenes?
  2. For 100 dollars, Three Houses special editon comes with a steel case (which is usually gotten for free when preordering some ps4 games), a calendar, cd with music, and an artbook. Looking at other games special editions like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, they actually get a figurine, physical map, artbook, coin replicas, steel case, and a soundtrack which all only costs 90 dollars. Even fates special edition was worth the price because it came with 3 games and some nice stuff like a bag. Im really trying to wrap my head around the justification for a 40 dollar increase provided what we actually get. If they actually included a byleth figurine, i could justify the price. Is there something im not seeing?
