  1. Hello and welcome; to the first Serenes Forest Survivor! *Excitement intensifies* We're here in the dark, mysterious woods of Begnion, where in the next few days, 14 Fire Emblem enthusiasts will begin the adventure of a lifetime! Together, they will have to adapt to the rough conditions, terrible time-zones and to each other, to thrive in the wilderness. They will have to collaborate with their enemies and back-stab their friends, and be sure to not be the one voted off! Who will be eliminated, who will be the last one standing? 2 Tribes, 14 people, ONE.... SURVIVOR! THE GAME: The 14 players will be randomly divided into 2 teams before the game starts. When there are only 8 players left, the tribes will merge and all challenges and immunities become individual, in a free-for-all style. Once there are only 10 players left, all eliminated participants will become part of the jury, who will vote one of the last 3 remaining players to become the holder of the title of Sole Survivor. The game will run in a 2 phase basis, each lasting 24 hours (so you should be able to chip in at least once a day regardless of your timezone! :3 ). During the Challenge Phase, both Teams will compete against each other in simple tasks (ranging from puzzle solving, internet scavenger hunts to dem paint skillz!). The victorious team will receive immunity, and the game will turn to Voting Phase, when the losing tribe will eliminate one of their member by voting him/her off. Once the results are out, the Challenge Phase starts again. THE TWISTS: Exile Island: After a challenge, the winning Tribe/Player will select someone from the loser Tribe/Players to go the Exile Island, where they will be incomunicated from the rest until the next Voting Phase ends. They will still vote, but they will go on blind. However, Exile Island is the only place where a player will have the chance to find the Hidden Immunity Idol Hidden Immunity Idol: After arriving Exile Island, the exiled player will receive a clue to the location of the Idol. The player must then guess its location. If successful they will receive the Idol in private. Said Idol can be played up until there's only 4 players in the game, it can be gifted to another player, and can only be played BEFORE the Voting Phase results are announced Once used, the Idol will return to Exile Island, where it will be placed in a new location. THE RULES: Starting private conversations is not only allowed, but recommended. Throughout the game you should be strategizing with multiple people. There are two rules however. In all game conversations you should add me as a participant. This way I can monitor everything that’s going on in the game. I won’t post in the conversations or let it affect the game, but I will keep up with all the game talk. You must keep all In-Game activities in the official Serenes Forest Survivor server, or this thread. No tribe/secret alliance server, please. Be cool :3 THE PLACES THE PLAYERS: Sign in by typing "/in". The game will take place in THIS Discord Server. This thread will remain for signups, game discussion and updates More details will be given in the Game server. Feel free to ask any questions! Game will start December 18, finishing right before New Year (What a better way to celebrate than being crowned Sole Survivor!)

  8. So apologies if your not supposed to start a thread this way still knew still getiing used to it. Anyway I have a question about the voting gauntlet and Ill try and make this as clear as possible cause I am horrible with explanations. Its just a real general question so sorry if it sounds stupid. So when you pick your teams how do you know whats going on with them winning or losing; besides the obvious. Is it because so many people have picked that team. Or is it in reality 6 people decided to play the voting gauntlet that have picked a side and it comes down to 2 people at the end leading the army. I read that you get friends and random people put into your army but just, how does it all go? Is it everyone online or really just 6 people is what Im trying to say I guess.
  9. So I'm just curious; Why is Ephraim getting more gauntlet votes? What is wrong with our dear tomato boy?? (Is it the "you'll never guess which fruit i fancy... tomatoes"??) (It is, isn't it...) (I know he's a Freak but we love him anyway okay) (also yes I know that Sacred Stones is generally much more popular than Fates, I'm asking more on a character level than a story/plot level) (I thank you ahead of time for your consideration!)
  10. THEME/TOPIC: Megaman Mayhem: -Sprite a Boss character from any of the Megaman games. Rules Voting and Winners --- Any further questions or concerns can be PMed to the current host! 17. Welcome to the final round of Serenes Forest Scribbles! We've had a lot of fantastic submissions, and sadly some great ones didn't make it to this round, but that's the nature of a competition of this size. We're planning something of a spotlight post-contest to give a handful of specific submissions some more attention, so keep a lookout for that! You've got another 6 days to look through the submissions if you'd like, no need to be too hasty! Some of the submissions are rather large in size or length, or are linked off-site, so check those out if you missed them! The winners of this poll will receive the prizes described in the main Scribbles thread in the Creative section seen here: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=58937&page=1 --------- Find all of the written submissions in the Writes section of the Scribbles forum! PAGE 1 PAGE 2 -- Find all of the Misc submissions in the Miscellaneous section of the Scribbles forum! PAGE 1 -- Find all of the Draws submissions in the Draws section of the Scribbles forum! PAGE 1 PAGE 2 PAGE 3 -------- NOTES - Users registered after February 5th, 2PM PST will have their votes removed from the final tally. While this might seem extreme, it's the best way to prevent any antics from messing with the event results. If a submission were to win because a bunch of people signed up and spammed votes for it, there would always be suspicion among other participants. If you're new, feel free to post in the submissions' thread to show your support for the artists, writers and craftsmen regardless. - In this round of voting, you'll be able to vote for as many submissions as you would like, but you're free to only vote for those you feel deserve the win most if that's how you'd like to. Total freedom! - Submission name changes will no longer be accepted. - This voting phase will last until the 17th of February. Don't feel obligated to vote right away, if you need more time to check out the submissions. - No voting for yourself.

  20. So one day I had a brilliant idea "Lets do a KOTOR Run where I RNG my Attributes and Skills and let everyone else vote on my feats" but I decided that since there ain't a whole lot of builds that are really sub-optimal in KOTOR that it wouldn't be torture enough. So I looked up on how to Screenshot DA:O and decided to go with that instead. So this basically this is as described above. I use a Random Number Generator for my stats and you all get to decide what combat skills I'm picking up. And as you can judge by the "masochism" tag I don't trust you all to not force me to switch between 4 sets of weapons all the time. So this is going to be fun. Before we can get to the meat though, we need to create our character We have a choice of Humans, Elves and Dwarves, as well as 6 backgrounds, Dwarves and Elves (unless it's Mage Elf) get 2 origins to choose from however both Mages and Humans have only 1 background. Also of note is that Dwarves can't be mages unfortunately. As for as I know there is no difference in stats for all the races. A quick summary of the Backgrounds: Human Noble: Only Human background. Your the Son/Daughter of the Cousland family and your brother along with your house's troops. After he leaves though, your attacked by another Noble Asshole Magi: All Mages are locked up in a big tower by the Chantry and Templars. After you pass a test to become a true Mage, one of your friends reveals he's dating a Chantry Priestess, which is forbidden, and you aid him in escaping Dalish Elf: Elves who don't like living with their oppresive human overlords so they live in the woods. One day you and a fellow tribesman discover a Demonic artifact in a cave. City Elf: Your about to be wedded to a lovely woman/man when all of a sudden a noble's son takes your bride/you to rape her/you at his party. Dwarven Noble: Your the favored son of the king and are about to lead an army I think? I don't know, I've never played this route. Dwarven Commoner: You are a casteless, Dwarves with out a special mark and are therefore are heavily discriminated against. As such you work for a local crime lord to get by. Anywho, the poll is there, get voting and tomorrow around 3-4 PM EST I'll update it with the Skills Poll, as well as showing you my Character and RNG'd stats after that. Eventually we'll also have to pick the specialization we get at Level 10. I feel like I'm forgetting something but I keep checking and I have everything so if I am please tell me. If you also want Info on how to make me suffer either check this wiki or ask me.

Colors may be custom or using GBA sprite palletes. 4) No posting previous/old works. [spoiler=Voting and Winners] NOTE: ...as we had over 20 entries total, we have gone with the split into full custom and edit/splice divisions to avoid confusion/multiple votes in the single vote section.
