According to this source, while most woolly mammoths died out on the mainlands, one small population of mammoths survived on Wrangel Island until the year 1650 B.C. The same source states that by that time, the pyramids of Egypt were already ~1000 years old, something Wikipedia agrees with. I also recall reading about this tidbit of information elsewhere, though I know not where exactly.
