Ouch. And I struggle to get past Victor, all because of the party formation, among other things.

Victor and bad ending battle are by far the toughest battles in this game.

I could beat the final boss in unknown, but not Victor in hard.

Mentioned a name I have read for the first time.

Is having dark circles.

Should know I have dark circles under my eyes IRL.

How do I get rid of them?

Dunno, I think you need a specialist for this kind of thing.

Or better sleeping maybe?

Knows that the Montreal race track is called the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit.
Might also know that Gilles Villeneuve used to be a race driver.

I never got the bad ending in Xillia 2. I didn't have the heart for it.
Victor is rough, that's true. I remember having many problems with him when I fought him. The scene after you defeat him is a tear jerker par excellence.

Apparently is not aware of my Formula 1 knowledge.

I have been watched it since I have been four until like two years ago because it became artificial and boring as hell.

Having a strong heart is the only thing, having strong skills is the other one because this fight belongs surely to one of the hardest RPG battles. Fighting eight opponents all alone even in groups particularly and having no chance to recover after defeating one opponent makes it incredibly hard.

Having the heart to do it is one thing. Actually having the skills to win is another. Anyway, the fact that it pits you against what has to be one of the hardest fights in the entirety of the Tales series makes me feel bad for anyone who's either looking to or actually did platinum Xillia 2.

Might know Patrick got DEAD again.

Also doesn't want to get spoiled for Three Houses.

Well, Spielberg this year was great.
In fact, I've started watching Formula One again around three years ago, and right now, it's one of the best motorsports competitions shown on German television, only topped by the DTM and the ADAC GT Masters (GT3 racing in general is pretty damn great right now).

Hahaha! You don't know the might of someone so unskilled he wouldn't even get past that fight! So I'm in fact a "victim" of both not having the heart and lacking the skill to pull it off!
Seriously, even though I love the Tales franchise, I will fully admit to not being a very good player. This counts for most games, though.

Started to watch Formula 1 when I stopped it.

Then you definitely missed the time when it was it qualified the term Formula 1 by having pit stops, great battles like Hakkinen vs.  Schumacher, no DRS and no safety car (start) for a single raindrop.

About till years ago the drivers were on their own. Unfortunately it became less and less...

Also funnily I have watched some old races from the 90s and early 00s on YouTube lately to get good old memories back.

DTM was fun to watch and it still would be, if it was not sent to a private TV station last year.

Well, even pros have trouble with the fight. It is not without reason considered as a hard fight, in a similar league as Gattuso.

Victor is incredibly fast and deals heavy damage.

I am not an expert in Tales either. Mainly stuck in normal, Xillia 2 and Berseria on unknown (with replay experience boost) are the only ones I have played on such a difficulty. Meanwhile I could not even get through in Symphonia on lowest difficulty.

I did watch those races, too. I agree that the DRS stuff and the Weenie Hut Jr. rules are bullshit, though the racing itself is pretty great. Silverstone today was a pretty cool race, all things considered.
At least it's not the absolute farce that Le Mans has turned into in the past two years.

Oh, tell me about it. Symphonia is one of the harder Tales games for sure. Personally, I thought Graces was a tad bit more difficult, but that was probably more due to me not liking the combat system a whole lot.

Is Symphonia really that hard? Personally, I don't think it would match up to Vesperia, among others (Zagi hits 60,000 HP as a midgame boss on normal; in some prior Tales games, you probably wouldn't see a boss with that much health until endgame unless you were playing on a higher difficulty).

Is correct about a certain boss in Vesperia.

While I agree that Vesperia is somewhat tougher than Symphonia, especially where bosses are concerned, I had a lot of trouble in my playthrough of Symphonia.

Dislikes a boss who reappears in Project X Zone as a generic enemy.

I had a total wipe out against almost each boss including prologue boss.

The HP is Vesperia is generally higher than in the other Tales games, yes, but therefore enemies also take way higher damage, so it is equaled out.

Might have struggled with the 2nd but can-lose boss at the Tower of Salvation.

The ToS final boss has two phases of 55k and 60k HP on Normal. Though if you don't kill the three optional bosses in the empty city (which you likely will, since they're right next to where you rescue your allies), the 2nd phase will have 120k.

Prior to this, no boss has 60k HP. The closest you get is a back-to-back of a 32k boss with two 11k goons, followed by a 40k boss.

Abyss hits/breaks 60k on Normal starting with Sync Round 2 (so towards the end of Part 2 of 3). The final boss is 122k in the first phase, followed 152k in the second.
