The fiend in question is Ba'al I: Turtle Dove from Bravely Default. It's a Nemesis you can get from Streetpass... and it's really nasty. It's also a tie-in to said game's sequel. Its main gimmick is making your party members fall in love. Not with it, of course. Afterwards, it uses Heartbreak for major damage to besotted targets (aka, any party members in love; however, it can be nullified if you null dark damage).
