Moxie Gyarados was bad enough (in case you don't know, Moxie gives an attack boost after attacking and KOing an opposing Pokemon). NatDex OU has stuff like Kartana, which is Moxie Gyarados on steroids, as it has higher speed and attack, AND its ability is Beast Boost, which boosts its highest stat after KOing an opposing Pokemon (in Kartana's case, it's Attack. Meaning it uses Max Knuckle and gets a Swords Dance off while blasting a hole in the opposing team. Or uses Max Airstream and gets a Dragon Dance off while punching a hole in the opposing team at the same tIme). Or Magearna, which can do much the same thing, because its ability is in the same vein as the aforementioned Moxie, except for Special Attack. At any rate, the alternative would have to ban all the Pokemon that were broken with Dynamax. Which would have been a lot. And even then, odds are it'd become apparent that the real problem is Dynamax. Which reminds me, Generation 5 had a similar problem, except it was rain that was completely broken, and Smogon had to declare it illegal to use Drizzle and Swift Swim on the same team to stop Rain from being dominant (note that this was during the time where the weather brought on by weather abilities was permanent).
