Would've been nice if it was a bit longer; I wanted to see more of the defender's reaction...

My mobile suit model collection is steadily growing. I might look into a better grade Methuss model, because the one I have has a hell of a time transforming into a core fighter, thanks to it being a lower grade, cement finish. I was also looking at a 1/100 Hyaku Shiki, because I liked the reflective finish it had, versus my current basic dark yellow one.

Currently, I have seven more on their way, thanks to a sale on HLJ:

-HGUC Zeta Gundam

-HGUC Quibley

-HGUC Rick Dias (black version)

-Gunblastor

-Gundam Rose

-Shenlong Gundam

-Gelgoog ver 2.0 (1/100 model)

EDIT: I also painted the Methuss, Zaku II and RX-78. Out of all of them, the Methuss was a pain in the ass in general, Zaku II was the easiest to assemble, and RX-78 was the messiest to paint. The Hyaku Shiki was of the HGUC line, therefore required neither paint or cement to finish, but was five times more expensive. (I got the aforementioned three for around $4 a piece.)

If I would recommend any, it's definitely the HGUC line, which are usually only $20, snap on, pre-coloured pieces, making it easy for beginners, durable and more detailed. I can see the appeal towards the normal grades though: they're extraordinarily cheap, unlimited opportunity for customization, nice finish for such a low price, and the sense of pride, knowing you painted and glued each part together.
