James Bond
Well, lets just say your governors would never let your country steep to the low my country has...on the other hand is not bad to expect better from them. Think that right now, we are even wondering how worse this situation can get, not even hope for anything better.

James Bond
i am aware intransigent government paralysis doesn't sound like the best for any democratic country though br's right wing politicians liked the idea and things have been hell around here Given we have actual democracy in a country. (democracy in Greece is like a pot-pourri where people have to choose different political parties which are supposed to be Far-right, Center-right, Center, socialists and communists...notice how I didn't use the term capitalists, they don't want to be called that.) Anyway, our government wants to call themselves lefts, but the thing is the measures they are taking are far worse than the previous government (right wing) even wanted to take. Renne
no empire for youToo late. I will have my empire. Of sukus. Believe me, your guys do their best for the country...I wish I could say the same thing about our guys here...but...Nope. While your government may be worse, I can't say we should be proud of our own. But as the saying goes, the grass is greener on the other side. Or something like that. Actually, the world has just gone to shit. Edited December 12, 2015 by Kagerou Imaizumi

Naughx
intransigent government paralysis doesn't sound like the best for any democratic country though I guess this could be an advantage over our southern's neighbor at having a parliamentary democracy. (But it is still FPTP so flawed)
James Bond
what's actual democracy You tell me...is that thing we live in today, democracy? Does it even have anything in common with that ancient constitution....
Naughx
You tell me...is that thing we live in today, democracy? Does it even have anything in common with that ancient constitution.... We are using representatives so it isn't very much like a "direct democracy". Where people's will defines most policies.
TheEnd
You tell me...is that thing we live in today, democracy? Does it even have anything in common with that ancient constitution....if you use ancient athens as reference democracy was never a thing we've simply agreed to call a system where the people elect their own rulers thusly but of course, overwhelming amounts of money greatly distort the available choices, their actual chances, and what they can actually do once elected - and that's something we've been seeing everywhere nowadays

TheEnd
there's no point in a referendum if you can't implement what you decide, no matter the reasons case in point, from what i've seen... i believe greece has reached a point of hopelessness that might just be reached around here soon as well and when politics crumbles, money rules directly

Oh so you voted "No"? >.< I remember seeing these "OXI" things on the news... - That thing was just a huge waste of public funds... I voted for yes, even though I should had never gone to vote at all... It was still a disgrace regardless.
