Axes are great in: FEDS, where every enemy and their mom is packing a lance. Also, Berserkers have the best class bonus to crit, and several of the axe characters are in one of the better support circles. FE8: Great Knights get them. Not only do you have full triangle control, but you're also tough and hit like a truck. Generals have full triangle control, too, and aren't bad in this game either. FE7: Hector. Enough said, really. FE6: Paladins get axes, giving them full triangle control. Come to think of it, it looks like Axes are always good on portable platform FE, what an interesting coincidence. Axes were also great in FE5. Iron Axe had the MT a Steel Sword. Steel Axe has only 1 less MT than Silver Sword and Silver Axe has 4 MT more than Silver Sword. Brave Axe being D ranked. Signature images can be no longer than 550 pixels, total. The maximum height is 300 pixels. The maximum size is 300 Kb per image. Naw, not everyone plays to make uber-maxed-stat omnikillers. I use the units I like, whether they're good or not. Though, they tend to be good. There are units you can't really argue against, like Ike, Haar, and the Laguz Royals, and there are some units you can't really deny have shitty usages, like Meg, Fiona, or Lyre. Since everybody after Ch. 2 seems to get something RESEMBLING RES, your magic users get some trouble, not to mention every magic user you get either: A. Has problems doubling early on. B.
